Salander climbed the stairs towards the 7th floor, walking past the portrait of the fat lady and making his way for their usual spot. He smiled to himself, recalling the day of how he found his way towards Lexi as she conjured those butterflies without uttering a word. He peered into the large paperbag he had with him and drew a deep breath. Lets hope she likes these...

Lexi climbed out of the portrait hole with the green box tucked under her arm. It was Valentine's day!! Yay!! She REALLY hoped that Salander liked his gift. The inscription was kind of corny, but she really wanted him to have it. So yeah.


Smiling as she saw him she used her free hand to smooth down the front of her dress. It was VALENTINE'S DAY. She wanted to look lovely for her Slytherin. HER Slytherin. Hehehe. "Hey babe. Ooooh whatchu got in there?" she asked with a rather chipper, exicted tone in her voice as she held out the green, wooden box. The watch inside had been enscribed with these words: No matter what time of day, I am thinking of you and smiling.

I know... so cute.

At the sound of her voice he turned his head and--

Hello.Lexi!

Breathe... breathe.... Eyes.up.at.face.

"Happy Valentines Day Beautiful!" he murmured as he leaned in and gave her a kiss. He saw her handing him a green wooden box "Oh for me?" he grinned as he opened it quickly. Whoah would you lookit that. He took the handsome watch from its case and read the inscription at the back. That got him smiling even more. "Likewise babe. And its awesome! Thanks!" he said as he slipped the watch over his wrist. Now he wont be late for classes. Or rather he would just spend his time staring at his watch counting for the seconds for classes to end. That is of course if he wasnt staring at the certain blonde Gryffindor and not really caring what time it was.

Oh now its his turn. He pulled open the large paper bag and took out these items first-- flowers and chocolates. But of course. " For you lovely...."



"Next one. close your eyes first...." he smirked as he slipped his hand back into the bag drew this out...



He held the large, near toddler-size bear close to her face, letting its fluffiness brush against her cheek as if to kiss her. He waited for Lexi to open her eyes then added, pointing to the trinket around its neck, "The necklace isnt for the bear by the way." Yeah juuuust in case she was wondering.

He paused for a moment, watching her with his gifts and smiling. Finally he said "One more....."

Lexi returned the kiss and bounced up and down slightly as she watched him slide the watch on his wrist. "I know it sounds kind of corny... but it's true you know... You make me smile so much," she said with a little blush coloring her cheeks. Hehe.

Oh! Stuff for HER. YAYAYAYA!! Her smile broadened as she took the flowers from him and smelled them, her eyes falling closed slightly. "Oh Salander... these are PERFECT! And strawberries... You are..." she trailed off as he said there was more. Hehehe. Carefully setting the flowers and chocolates against the stone wall she closed her eyes tight and giggled. GIGGGGGLED!

When she opened them her mouth fell slightly agape for a moment and her eyes actually teared up a little bit. Then she gave way to giggles as he made the bear kiss her cheek. Then her eyes fell to the necklace... "Oh Salander..." she said in a rather constricted little voice. "It's perfect. All of it... and there's more?" she asked blinking back tears.

"I wanted to... give you something else too. But I will wait until you are done," she said as she dabbed at her eyes slightly and smiled a great beaming smile at the boy. HER boy.

He reached down deep in the paper bag and took out a box. "Had a bit of trouble with the engraving... but I thought it would be a nice keepsake to remind us when this all started...." he said a little sheepishly. He opened the box to reveal this...




"Its your corsage..." he grinned shyly "I returned for it at the tables then had encased that way..... in a little tea pot." Appropriate 'no?

" Oh and your gift isnt corny" he scowled jokingly. "Its the absolute truth." And that is no lie.

That was it... when he pulled out the tea pot with her corsage in it she began to weep tears of sheer elation. "S-s-sal... it's... you're... " she said in a small voice as she set the bear down beside her flowers and everything else and moved forward to wrap her arms around his neck. "You are the most amazing man in the world, Sal. I mean that," she said before she hastily wiped her face on his shirt and then leaned in for a lingering kiss.

Pulling back she sniffled and smiled brightly. "Let me put these things away in my dorm and then I want to take you somewhere so I can give you your other gift. Okay?" she said in a shaky voice. She was very reluctant to move really. She quite liked being in Salander's arms.

Ohh... now she's crying. Before he knew it he could feel his knee (elbow?) jerk reaction of reaching for the kleenex and handing it to Lexi, but then she has begun to use his shirt anyway. He began to caress her head then heard her call him-- the Most Amazing Man in the World. He closed his eyes as he rested his chin on her head. That really got him right there. It was the best thing anyone has ever said to him.

Then their lips met in a kiss that has at once made him forget where he was, as he wrapped his arms around her in a tender embrace. Yup this just made his day.

She got another gift for him? He peered down at her surprised and slightly bemused. "Sure thing. I'll wait here. " he said as he gave her a tight hug before letting her go.

Lexi lingered in the hug for a brief moment before taking her wand from it's holster as she backed away from Salander. Giving him a wink she gave a swish and flick at the items she now had lain throughout the corridor and began levitating them toward the portrait hole. Giving the Fat Lady the password she scuttled through with her things going along in front of her.

....

A few moments later she returned with the necklace dangling from her neck, no shoes on, and a wizarding wireless tucked under her arm. Smiling brightly at her man she reached an empty hand toward him and said, "Come on! Let's go. Before I lose my nerve or something... it's silly... but... it's from the heart, so let's go!" She still had her hand outstretched but she began padding barefoot down the corridor wiggling her fingers at him to HURRY UP.

He leaned back against the wall as he watched Lexi levitate the gifts back into the Gryffindor common room. He sighed contentedly as he leaned his head back, reminiscing their moment together. But it wasnt long before he saw her coming back, this time with his necklace around her neck. He beamed. Yes there is his love....

... without shoes? Hmm? And an old skool radio in her arm. He looked at her curiously. Loose her nerve? Lexi? He gave her a playful grin, took her hand and followed her down the corridor

He had his own horse!? "Wow.." Kat said, but then pulled her self together and smiled. "Man, you're lucky! I really wanted a horse when I was smaller, but then when I saw my cousin's horse, I got really scared of it.." Wow Kat, nice story?
Katelynn giggled. "Well you're not that old, Cody, unless you're just living on Polyjuice Potion?" Kat said, and eyed Cody closely, as though she could see if he was 'real' or not. Katelynn gasped dramaticly and put her hand in front of her mouth. "Have you kept something secret from me, Cody?"
Hopefully, he didn't think she was a complete maniac. And even though she knew it wasn't this, if he hadn't told her something, that wouldn't be very odd, seeing as they had known each other for what? 15 minutes?

"I haven't rode a horse now for like a year. It's hard to do it once you've taken such a long break", he repiled to Kat. Err.... this was a bit awkward. "I would never be living on Polujuice Potion", he said laughing. Then he looked at her. "Nope, no secret. I hate keeping secrets", he told her very quickly so they could drop the topic.

*cries*

This was not a good day/night whatever time of day it was. It wasn't good for her at all. She sat on the floor crying and crying because Bryce had broken up with her. HOW COULD ANYONE BREAK UP WITH HER!! She was beautiful. She didn't like this feeling in her heart.

*cries some more*

So what she was faking it but to get people on HER side and off of Bryce's SIDE that was good for her. Now before she talked to ANY of his friends she had to win over some of her fellow Ravenclaws and some Slytherin's. The fourth year lifted her head and it shown on her flawless face that her beautiful blue eyes were full of tears and red. The tears ran down her face as she kept crying.

Elliott walked along the seventh floor corridor. He had just been up in the common room for a bit, but he was getting rather bored of the place, and so he stepped out for a change of scenery. The fifth year ambled along aimlessly, hands resting casually behind his back. His brow furrowed slightly as he heard sniffles and.. and crying? Uh oh, that didn't sound good. =[

Turning his head in the direction of the hiccuppy sniffle noises, his gray eyes landed upon a blonde girl with red eyes brimming with tears. Oh no! Of course, Elliott didn't actually know this girl, but he couldn't just walk on past her and not do anything. "Hi, erm.." He pushed his lips to the side for a sec. "Are you all right?"

Fail. No DUH she wasn't all right.

Kat nodded. "Yeah, it must be" she agreed with a smile.
Kat eyed him closely for a few seconds but then laughed. Ugh. aaaawkwarrrrd. Kat could really feel that Cody properbly wasn't used to conversations like this. uhm.. how d you save situations like this? think...
Kat started laughing. "Sorry" she said and grinned. "I'm usually not this.. Well, I am usually this odd, but i'm just a big joker..!" she said. Hopefully he would understand? Besides, weird people have more fun!

"It is", he said. He didn't know what else to say. This was one of the most awkard conversations he had ever had. Cody didn't find anything funny at the moment. "I can tell", he said kind of smiling. He didn't know what it would be like to be Kat.

ugh. argh! awkwardness on a high level! This conversation wasn't exactly..... fun? oh well, not everything can be!
I properbly screwed this up.. Kat thought to herself. again.. But Cody seemed so nice! Hopefully he didn't hate her completely?
Kat tried to find a nice expression to put on her face, but failed completely and just gave up. "Uhm.." she started. "Well, I'd.. better get going.." she said, and slowly began to walk, but stopped when she stood beside Cody. Kat bit her lip, but then said. "I'm - I'm sorry if I offended you or something. And for bumping in to you!" she said, and smiled faintly. Then she looked to the ground, and walked down the corridor.

Why was she going? Did she just have to? Cody didn't know what was walk. "Er....", he said not knowing what to say. "Right now? Are you sure?", he asked Kat quickly. "You didn't. That's nothing. You didn't mean too", he answered her.

What? he didn't want her to leave? oh.... awkward. again. "Uhm, well, I thought I'd just go back to the common room, I thought that.. well, uhm - I thought you didn't like me?" Kat said with a small voice, and felt really stupid. Oh, she had so overreacted!

Cody didn't really know what to say. He didn't want to hurt her feelings. It was a bit confusing. "I do like you. I never said I didn't like you", he answered Kat 100 % clearly.

"Its had its ups and downs for sure," Simon replied in half-agreement as they walked up the stairs to the seventh floor corridor. The captain couldn't say that the year had been all bad but it had started out with the absence of his girlfriend and two favorite professors and the would end with the Gryffindor quidditch team left out of the championship game. That left a mark but he had his better moments wrapped up amongst the downtime.

Kat felt her cheeks go red as she looked up at Cody. "Sorry.." she said with a small voice. "I really overreacted" she said and smiled slightly.

Lexi simply nodded her head as she paused for a moment to brush a rock off of her foot. She couldn't think of very many UPS for the term... well Salander was an up, but that was about it really. The vast majority of the term had been downs. Through and through.

After spending at least another hour in the RoR by herself and crying her eyes out, Mia finally decided it was time to head back to her common room. And just stay there until the end of term. If she didn't leave it then she couldn't upset any more people.

She stepped out into the corridor and let the door close behind her while she blindly walked down the corridor from the tears still in her eyes. She must look an absolute mess but she really didn't care right now.

Finlay was kind of in a little world of his won as he wandered through the corridor, heading back towards the common room. That was before he nearly ran into someone. He was about to tell them to watch where they were going...but then he noticed who it was. "Mia?" He asked, stopping where he was. She looked a mess....and was that tears in her eye? What on earth was wrong?

He frowned, folding his arms as he watched her. Whoever had upset her was definetly going to pay.

It just had to happen. Her feet were moving but Mia really had no idea where she was going and so it came as no surprise that she almost collided with someone and she was just about to apologise and keep moving when she heard the person's voice.

Any other time she would have been pleased to see Finn but not when she was looking like this because she knew her friend had a temper. "Hey Finn." She managed to croak out and tried her hardest to give him a smile. "What's up?"
