She smiled brightly at him, masking her true face,"I'll miss you too. Cheer up. I'll owl you from Spain."she allowed her smile to fall before saying "I truly am going to miss you though. I'll come back and visit during the breaks."

She had her own owl so she could owl her friends whenever. She reached out and touched him on the arm and said,"It's the holidays, smile, be merry."

Caroline Patted his back when he talked about Kurumi giving him a book. She smiled slightly to try to lighten the mood. "Good." she nodded and asked. "Have anything else panned this summer?"

"Don't budge into what?" Selina innocently whispered back. Something was going on and she was being kept out of it. Not that she wanted to pry, but she was confused and sitting right in between the couple. Or she assumed the couple. Did they have a fight? Or did they... oh Merlin. She didn't see this happening so soon. Adam changed his mind and so his future was going to shift.

"Not really."Adam said shrugging. He couldn't really plan anything yet because Mexico would be completely new to him, so he had no reason to plan anything when he wouldn't be knowing anything in the country in the first place. "You?"

Nothing."Adam whispered back.He could see her mind thinking, the mechanics of her brain probably moving rapidly.She knew....Selina didn't need to look into the future to realize what had happened to the great Kurudam."You know, ok...So don't say anything. Especially to her.It still kills her, I can tell."

Salander made his way across the Great Hall towards the Lion's den, walking silently by among the boisterously chatting Gryffs. Actually he doesnt even know why he has to do this all ninja like, even if he walked and talked normally it was doubtful any of them would notice him with the way THEY.ALL.TALKED.

But what he really was after was that Gryffindor blond, to catch her unawares as she sat talking with her fellow housemates. He waited for her to shift in her seat slightly, then suddenly slipped his arms around her and hugged her from behind. "Hey there Princess!" he chuckled then gave her a peck on the cheek "Smile! We're just about to cross the finish line."

He looked up and spotted the Gryffindor Prefect "Pat!' he called out and raised a hand to wave "The boat.... thanks for the lift man, really appreciate it." Like seriously. He knew what it was like to be ripped off by locals just because he was the tourist. Not the best way to start a vacation.

His eyes shifted to Josh, who was louder than usual, unbelievable given that he was already LOUD to begin with. The Slytherin lad noted his rather jovial mood as his eyes darted quickly back at the Slytherin table? Could it be?.....

He turned as his eyes fell onto Kurumi, then to Adam. Well at least they seem to be taking his advice and respecting personal space (something he totally is not doing with Lexi now heh). He wanted to tell Kurumi what an awesome job she did this term. He knew lots of Gryffs pulled their weight to secure the housecup, but he was willing to wager a money sack full of galleons that the young Gryffindor brunette had the Lion's share so to speak.

Lexi was trying to drown out the LOUD going on around her and failing miserably. She was content STARING at her plate and wishing this feast would end so she could leave.

She couldn't help but jump and flail a little bit as Sal got her from behind. Hehe. Her frown turned upside down IMMEDIATELY. Ahhh. Much better. "Hey there, yourself." Her lovely Slytherin Prince! YAYAYAY!

"I know. I am just ready to cross it already and get to the beach," she said with an eyebrow waggle. Tilting her head back so she could see him better she smiled and SMILED and SMILED some more. Scooting a little she patted the bench beside her for him to join the Lions.

Looking to Patroclus she too smiled and gave him a nod. "All of us in Greece... All I can say is this is going to be an EPIC summer." FACT.

"You better not forget about me. I know I will never forget about you." Nika looked at Rex and dabbed her eyes. "Hogwarts will never be the same when your gone. Me and Mr. Squides will miss you a lot." Nika couldn't even imagine going to talk to Mr. Squides without Rex by her side.

Nima noticed Elyon sitting alone and she couldn't let that happen to her friend. Nika looked at her friend and forced a small smile. Normally it's immpossible to get her to stop smiling but today she couldn't seem to smile at all. "Hey."

Nika wasn't her cheerful, energetic self. She couldn't seem to be happy knowing that two of her close friends were going to graduate. She put some food on her plate and the pushed her plate away from her body."On second thought, I'm not hungry." her cheeks were wet and a few tears were still dripping down from her watery eyes.


Nika bobbed her head up and down. For Rex and Halle. She rubbed her watery eyes and sniffled. At least she isn't the only one who is upset. Nika felt someone jump on her back and she fell forward. Nika wouldn't normally turned around to yell at the person for being so rude when she was feeling most vulnerable, but she didn't really feel up to it at the moment.

Nika heard Emily's oh so familiar voice and she let out a sigh of relief. If she had yelled at the girl that wouldn't be good hehe. She tried to force a small smile and then the act was over because Emily noticed the tears. "You know you're lucky. If I still had an appetite and I was eating I could've choked." Nika tried to tease Emily to lighten the mood but it didn't help her regain her happiness. "Yeah the holidays. I'm glad I will be able to see you both then."

"Adam... why are you just going to ignore her or worse leave the table? This is probably the last time you will ever see her again in your life and you want to run away? What does that say about you? What does that say about both of you? I thought you loved her?" Selina challenged.

Kurumi frowned a bit when Selina asked what was going on. Kurumi's lips trembled and she was about to burst into tears again when Salander appeared at the table. It didn't even bother her anymore, him and Lexi. To her Lexi was her mamma lion and that made him her daddy snake - although those schoolgirl feelings would always be there.

His smile put her at ease, for the moment, until she heard Selina and Adam whispering and her mood darkened once more.

Not realizing that she was doing so, she edged her way closer to Salander and reached out her small hand for his and managed to grab his pinky finger.

Adam saw Salander come by. Kurumi's supposed Admirer, or something like that. With a small nod he said hi to Salander like that. He didn't wish to say much both he was pounded into the ground like a pulp.

"I'm not leaving the table...It's difficult ok...You don't know how to handle this, and don't tell me how to handle it because you're far off worse than Kurumi and I are at the moment."He said back in a dangerous hiss."I don't care what it says about me!"

Ok, so that was a lie. But he didn't want to seem weak, then again running away would look weak- he was caught between two different thoughts and neither of them played out better than the other.

"I loved her...I can't love her anymore. There is no point to it..."

Adam glanced quickly at Kurumi and spotted her pinky in Salander's. The thought enraged him. A volcano began erupting in him, jealousy spurred like a fire explosion.He tried to maintain his cool, but it was getting harder by the second.

Was she really moving on? Or was Kurumi only as frightened as Adam, and was holding Sal's hand to feel better?

Selina listened to Adam and her face fell. He was always yelling at her. Then her face grew hard and she stood up from the table loudly slamming her hands down on the table to help herself up, "Well then, I hope that you enjoy Mexico and the rest of your life. Because if I was dancing on the line I just jumped off. You enjoy the rest of your life Adam Burn."

With that Selina was gone. She knew he would not call after her because he did not care... he never did.

Kurumi had been keeping an eye on Selina and Adam out of the corner of her eye hoping for some sort of hint that would allow her to go over and give Adam the special fortune cookie she had made. She had written THAT word in it, but she still wasn’t sure she knew what it meant.

Kurumi thought that in turning 13 she would understand the world more, but now she was feeling she understood it even less.

Her left hand played with the fortune cookie she longed to give to Adam while her right one continued to hold onto a little piece of Salander for comfort. Perhaps if she shut her eyes this time, everything would go away and she would wake up in her bed realizing that this all was just a terrible nightmare.

Then, there was an explosion next to her as Selina slammed her hands down on the table and began shouting at Adam. Kurumi’s head snapped around and she took a step forward as the desire to run to Adam and comfort him. Perhaps even drag Selina back and try to have the two work out their differences…

However, the words that Adam had said…

…there’s no point to it...

…they stabbed her in whatever wasn’t broken of her little lion heart and she whimpered softly before turning her head and burying it in Salander’s arm.

Adam backed away as she slammed the table.
The two had always had their strong differences, but never had Selina ever gotten such a horrible temper.He furrowed his eyebrows and watched her walk away.

If he walked away behind her Kurumi might think he was walking away from her too.He didnt even know how they had managed ending up being "siblings" with their different views on life.Maybe it was just too much red, red robes and hair.

Slowly he turned around to face Kurumi...Her head now cupped in Salander's shoulder. He looked up, big round, teary eyes staring at the student he had a quarrel with at the beginning of the school year.

Now he would get it...

"Kurumi?"

Kurumi didn’t let go of Salander’s arm, but she heard Adam faintly whisper her name so she turned her head to gaze at him with lavender eyes that held such a deep sorrow in them that perhaps a better color to describe them would be black.

Did he honestly think that she wasn’t worth it? That there was no point in having anything to do with her now?

She certainly didn’t feel that way, but if that was what he wanted, she wasn’t going to try and fight for him anymore. She had done that several months ago in an empty classroom where they had then shared their first kiss. It was now a kiss she almost wished had never happened.

Not worth it.

Adam should have never said he liked her if he really didn’t care. Never talked about feelings if they weren’t really there. Should have never touched her life is he meant to break her heart.

The high she had been on only a few minute ago from her conversation with Patroclus and Simon seemed like a distant memory now.

Slowly, she let go of Salander’s pinky finger and took a step closer to Adam, thrusting the fortune cookie she had made in his face.

“Here…” she said not looking him in the eye. It was too hard to do so now. Not even checking to see if his hands were outstretched or not, Kurumi dropped the cookie. He had pretty quick reflexes, he should be able to catch it.

Inside was the message that she had spent so long thinking about.

Slowly he opened the note within the cookie.

A sense of dread and guilt washed over him like a clothes washer.All that he had ever done to her, all the feelings he had made her feel, all those moments, could all come back to punch in the face at this moment.

His eyes moved across the little slip of paper.

His heart ached. She'd never forget him!
Could he say the same?Right now things were extra shaky, he had no stable footing, but he had to do it for her, to show her.

Adam wasn't no romeo- yet he didn't treat her anything close to that.

"Oh..."

Her message stung his heart, it actually felt heavy, his beats became slower as he realized how dumb he had been all these months.

Distance was not a reason to do whatever he had been doing to her tonight. That was just an excuse cause he was a whimp and not willing enough to try harder.

" I guess you did not hear me from all the way up here" Rex told Patroculus. " I think you have been the best prefect while I have been af HogWarts" Rex said to Patroculus. " I overheard something about a party for winning the house cup, but you congratulated just the top five students, but I wwas on;y ten points away from fifth place and I think I helped win the house cup, too and others did too" Rex explained to Patroculus."Did you know in any other house I would be in the top five and Slytherin would heve beat us if I had been a Slytherin?" Rex asked Patroculus. " Everyone in Gryffindor was great this term on homework and classes but last year I had been the top boy in the school and in secind place and we won the house cup, too" Rex smiled." If I had ben able to attend classes, I would have been in the top five again" Rex sighed.

" Of course, neither of us will forget each other" Rex told Nika." Hogwarts will be ok as you will be here" Rex said to Nika." I told Mr. Squides good-bye but he really likes you and he wants you to talk to him" Rex explained to Nika.

Heather could only smile, Truth be told, she would also miss Rex. He was a good friend to her-someone she treasured as much as her closest friends as well. He was more like an older brother. "I'll miss you too Rex." she said. "err...so...should we hug or shake hands?" she asked, laughing as she said it.

Sophie had scooted over several chairs to console and what she thought mediate something between two other students. Instead it turned out that Kurumi wanted her and another senior student to help her friend Heather out with her stuffed panda. It had under spell practice accidentally shrunk. Sophie squinted at the small panda in what could only be Heather’s hand. She scratched her head asking "Have you tried using an enlargement charm on the stuffed bear? Or reducio? Reducio is often used to return items to their original size." Sophie kept brainstorming as Kurumi started to observe two other students. The darkening expression on the sweet girl’s face when she spoke to the boy of the two made her think that Kurumi could be suffering heart ache too. If the younger girl needed a prefect shield or just someone to speak with Sophie was there for her.

Neither Evan nor Sebastian was at the feast which the prefect appreciated. With Evan things were just too awkward and with Sebastian it was just painful. Sophie didn’t want to think about what next term would bring. She was going to settle on looking forward to the summer holidays.

"Thank you Rex!" Elyon beamed at the graduate. "I'm glad you are going to work hard to maintain your dreams, because those are the dreams worth holding onto," she said brightly, twirling her knee-length, sandy braid around her finger. "Oh Rex, I really wish I could, but I don't think that's an option for me. My daddy is really sick and if he passes away, my mum is shipping my brother and I away to an orphanage. She dislikes magic you see, but I know she loves us deep down. I love her!" Elyon said brightly, still determined to stay positive. "Where are you and Renee going to live?"

Elyon's eyes flashed with excitement as she saw
Selina storming across the Great Hall. She began to skip as quickly as she could to keep up with the red head. She jumped in front of her right before she reached the door, her long braids swinging around her. "Selina! Aren't you going to enjoy the feast? This could be our last time together, if I have to sit by myself on the train again!"

Elyon smiled at her friend, taking her what
seemed like hours to figure out the Selina was upset. "Sely, are you okay? You seem sad." Elyon looked at her fellow Gryffindor for a moment, observing her eyes, as if she were looking deep into the girl's mind. Then out of nowhere, Elyon hugged her friend as tightly as she could before pulling back with a wide smile on her face. "I'm here if you need to talk about it, okay?" She smiled reassuringly.

Sabel couldn't help the laughter, both happy and at the same time sad, as the group hug was initiated. He couldn't exactly say he had been expecting it, but that he hadn't was almost better than it would have been knowing it would have happened. His arms went around whoever he could reach, and he could only laugh lightly, or was it close to a choked breath that was just really unsteady? He honestly didn't know.

When they all parted, he couldn't help but smile at the Prefect, at Simon, at Kurumi, Lexi, at them all. Best. Family. Ever. And it was with a small smile he sat back and watched them, simply existed within their own existence.

It was when a voice sounded behind Lexi that he jumped, a quick flick of his eyes revealing who it was. Almost immediately he removed his arm from Lexi's shoulders, giving Salander a respectful nod of his head and a friendly smile. It was reassuring to see him around Lexi. To see the guy he knew Lexi was smitten with, and that he seemed equally smitten with her.

He sat with the group for a few moments more, thoughts ebbing about, before quietly excusing himself. While he hadn't been intending to leave any sort of Message in the Memory book, there now seemed a profound importance to do so that he couldn't shake. And that was where his feet took him first and foremost.

" Ahh, you are going to make me blush" Rex told Heather. Hug, hug, hug" Rex said to Heather. Rex hugged Heather." I hope, well want you tomake more friends this next term and the rest of your time at HogWarts" Rex explained to Heather.

" You are quite welcome" Rex told Elyon." Yes everyone should hold onto to their dreams" Rex said to Elyon. Your family is the most important thing in your life, but we know that as Gryffindors, take care of them but yoru mom will come around on magic because she loves you" Rex explained to Elyon.
Rene and I will be living in her Cottage by the Sea right outside of England" Rex smiled.

Fee was just nomming her chocolate pudding and enjpying the feast as someone plopped down next to her.Turning her head the blonde noticed her boyfriend there."Heyyy Hugo",she beamed,"of course not why would i mind?"he didnt seem to be too happy.What was wrong? it was the end of term and summer was starting soon this wasnt the time to be sad.Layinfg down her spoon of pudding the Slytherin apporached her self on the chair so that her body was facing the ravenclaw's now."Whats wrong?"

Fee giggled when she heard her best friend's voice."Ohhh i didnt see you",she said,"i would never ever forget you."That wouldnt be possible.Never,Rex had such a huge place in her heart.Noo he really shouldnt graduate but the Slytherin idnt want to tell him.

Elyon nodded. "Dreams are all I have left. I know you can succeed and be the most famous dancer in England if you want it!" Elyon encouraged Rex, smiling up at him.

At this Elyon shook her head no, though she still remained optimistic and smiling. "Oh no. She probably won't come around with magic. She hates it more than anything, because she's scared. She normally abuses us physically and mentally if we so much as remind her of magic. She told us that she hates us and wants us dead. But I don't know if I believe that's true. I think she's just upset because my daddy may possibly.... die." Her voice caught when she said the last word. It was very painful, but she
smiled on through. Her personality was too happy for tears.

"Oh! I live on the coast! Which region do you live in?" Elyon's electirc blue eyes sparkled with anticipation, she hoped so dearly that she would see Rex in her hometown.

Elyon was just about to start singing to herself in Gobbledygook, when a tearful Nika came up to her. She knew that two of Nika's best friends were leaving, but the tiny blonde just couldn't stand to see her friend upset. "Nika! Crying isn't
going to do anything good! If you really want to herish your last moments with these friends of yours, be happy and celebrate their time here!" Elyon kept smiling as she wiped a tear from Nika's face.

She poured her friend a glass of pumpkin juice and handed it gently to her. "Would you like to sing with me in Gobbledygook? I find it rather fun!" Elyon said cheerfully. Hopefully it would bring Nika back to the peppy girl Elyon knew and loved so dearly.

She hugged her two best friends back then took a sip of juise, nerly choking on it.
"Don't worry" she told Nika "I know a spell anyway if you had..." she stopped talking. Putting her goblet down she held her breath to try to fight back tears. It didn't work. They came scilently poaring down her face as she though of the future. 'I know a spell...' she seemed to always know a spell. The one thing she didn't know was how to keep that moment there forever.
"Yeah. We'll make the most of the summer!" She took a deep breath "I don't want to let this go, but it's not forever..." she smiled at her two friends "You two are my best friends and I know we will always will be. I'm trying not to cry, but... no one needs to say goodbye." She bit her lip and stood up "To Hogwarts!" She said raising her goblet to the other two, hoping they would do they same.

" Yes, I knew you are wearing your blinkers because I am graduating" Rex teased Fee laughing again. " I will never forgot you dear" Rex said to Fee."Should I have a graduation party?" Rex asked Fee.

" Dreams and bering the best person in the world is for you" Rex told Elyon. A famous dancer, hmm" Rex smiled. " I am not trying to be mean, but physical and verbal abuse are not good for or your dad and she could be arrrested" Rex explained to Elyon."For your safety and your father's , you both might want to leave that situation" Rex said to Elyon "Did you tell your mom that magic can be used for good?" Rex asked Elyon.
