Carter Phillips retrieves the Quaffle and he puts it back into play . . . his pass is caught by Simon Bennett and the Gryffindor Captain tucks it safely under his arm before zooming down the pitch . . . he swerves past two voracious Slytherin defenders who recklessly attempt to dislodge the Quaffle but he holds on tight . . . Bennet narrowly escapes and passes to Patroclus Hudson . . . Hudson makes the catch and zooms away . . .. he enters the scoring area . . . Hudson raises his arm and he shoots . . . THWACK! Sierra Greingoth reaches out and blocks the shot, thus preventing a Gryffindor score . . . suddenly the fans are on their feet . . . the Seekers have spotted the Snitch!
