After a nice apparation trip, and another crack!fartingsound! and pop!, the class found themselves in an alleyway, not far from their destination. Making sure every student that signed their name was still with the class, Maya slowly let go of the hands she was holding and called for everyone's attention.
"We're here." Not that she had said where they were going...because, they'd find out soon enough. "Remember, act appropriately and stick together." She did not want to have to come back for someone after returning to Hogwarts.
"Follow me please." Oh they'd better follow her...
A quick walk around the corner and finally, they arrived inside at the main entrance of this magnificent museum - go ahead, you have a moment to take in your bearings. Maybe you already noticed the larger than life skeleton of a Diplodocus nearby, one of many dinosaurs that roamed this earth many years ago. Or perhaps the grandness of the inside architecture has your attention.
There are quite alot of people in here today, tourists from other countries and the United Kingdom aswell. Curious people, perhaps just like all of you.
Having made sure that all the students were still here, Professor Saylen then proceeded to reach into her bag and take out a bundle of museum pamphlets with a map. She'd taken the liberty to mark where they should meet, incase anyone got lost. Also, she'd written her name, incase anyone still didn't know who she was...or simply forgot. Heh.
"Everyone, take one of these," she had to raise her voice a little to be heard over the other buzzing visitors, "Open them and look at the map. See the encircled figure in the middle? That is where we are now. If anyone gets lost, you come back here and wait." Don't go off buying an icecream at the cafe. "...and I will come get you." Allright?
She let them take another moment to gather themselves, study the map a little, and just... maybe stare at the dinosaur bones.

Then, she heard the familiar voice of Simon coming to their Selina's rescue. "Everything it alright, now," Kurumi nodded trying not to laugh about the whole thing. At least the other visitors to the museum had seemingly gone about their own business now.

"Hold my coffee for me?" Chad held it out for her and then started to move through the crowd of students towards the rail. Making sure he wouldn't accidentally kick anyone, he started to lift himself over the rail.
"If any of your follow me, I swear to each one of you that I will make you cut ALL the grass on the grounds when we get back. With safety scissors," he added, looking at each individual student, lingering upon Evelyn and Sierra for a moment longer than any one. They KNEW he wasn't joking about that. "This is clearly for educational purposes."
Snort. Yeah. CLEARLY.
He then lowered himself down the short distance into the pit with the dinosaur. Ooh. So much bigger up close. Louder, too.
"See, look. He is not going to eat anyone. I am pretty sure I would have been dinner before I even fully got in here." Now, PLEASE stop freaking out.

But in no way ignorant of her behavior around him, he did his best to appear unfased in hopes to not make things worse. "Ah," he said in acknowledgement, glancing momentarily back at the dinosaur. "Yeah...I remember my first encounter with machinery...can be pretty unnerving," he admitted with a nod as Kurumi confirmed that everything was alright. Granted Simon had been 7 or 8 at the time not 11 but his fellow quidditch player didn't need to know it.
"Anyway enjoying the trip othe--" he started to ask before noticing the groundskeeper move closer to the enclosure, eventually climbing inside. The captain was amused to say the least, awaiting the reactions of his classmates.

Kurumi giggled trying to imagine Simon thinking the world was going to come to an end when her laughter stopped completely.

And Professor Saylen was worried about them, the students, causing problems?
"Um! Professor...he might want to get out of there before an alarm goes off or the museum calls security..."
You know, just her two cents on the matter. Professor Saylen could explain to the Headmaster why he had to bail them all out of prison.

Selina smiled at Kurumi and gave her a thank you in her gaze. She was trying very hard to fit into the crowd now. Although the bright red hair did make the task somewhat difficult, but she was going to try her hardest to blend in anyway.
She smiled at Simon as he moved on from her blunder. Secretly she was thanking Simon for changing the subject. Her face could not get any redder or she was going to explode.
Then Simon stopped mid-sentence. Selina turned around slowly following Simon's gaze to the image of the groundskeeper in the room with the machine. "Is he... allowed to do that?" Selina asked the two eyes still on the groundskeeper.
She tried her hardest not to freak out. Merlin forbid that the machinery explode and they all die...

Alice nodded as she continued along. "Ooh, a dig sounds like it would be a lot of fun!" Alice followed Mikey and the rest into the next section of the museum and looked carefully. It truly was remarkable that after all these years they still had these bones in perfect condition to look at. Truly remarkable. She was in the middle of reading one of the cards beneath one dinosaur when she spotted Mr. Stryker the groundskeeper getting ready to drop into the pit.
Taking a couple of steps backwards so she could get a better view, Alice watched Mr. Stryker carefully. Leaning over to Mikey so she could whisper to him Alice went, "Do you think he knows that the museum's owners don't want people going into the displays?" Alice asked, looking around for any museum security that may be patrolling.

Arya tilted her head to the side, grinning at the groundskeeper as he entered the fenced in area. She certainly wasn't expecting anyone, let alone one of the staff to enter the area. It was entertaining.
Leaning against the fence, she glanced back at Ellie, then at the groundskeeper, nodding her head in agreement. "I agree. You'll never really know if a creature isn't gonna eat a person til someone tries to ride it." She bit her lip to stiffle a giggle.

Woah! Did the groundskeeper just go over the railing into the pit of Mr Ferocious Pants!
What was he doing? Didn't he realise that Mr Ferocious Pants would eat him? Sure it hadn't yet, but it didn't have to just eat him. It could explode, or the museum people could get angry at him and the day would end up with the headmaster busting them out of jail.
At least he wasn't expecting the students to follow him. K-Lee wouldn't step foot in there, not even for 20 Galleons.
"Professor, what will happen if he gets in trouble with the museum people? Also can Mr Ferocious Pants eat people? If so then-" K-Lee cut off, realising she had called the dinosaur by his nickname, sure to attract some odd looks from the muggles, her professor and the other students.
Jaina jumped and giggled when he reached down to hug her. "It's not a dragon, silly. It's a dinosaur. They lived millions of years ago. This is what a young Tyrannosaurus rex would have looked like," Jaina said pointing at the animatronic replica. "It's just a robot to show how the dinosaur would have moved." She smiled.....'mooseum'.... "It's pronounced MU-seum. And you have tons of questions!" she giggled some more and took his hand. "Try to keep up," she winked.
"A what? Tyrannosaurus rex? What is that? Is it a relative of a dragon? Cause it sure a bloody hell looks like a short armed, wingless dragon. Did it spit fire and lay eggs that had to stay warm by it's body heat? This thing really does look like some sort of dragon that couldn't fly. How'd they kill it? And if it lived over a million years ago, why does it look and sound alive now? And where's the chain to keep it from eating us? Or the muggles? And if you read the name correctly, it's MOO-seum. MU-seum. Gods. Why must I be the smart one?" he shook his head as he grabbed Jaina's hand.

"I do believe that sitting a top of it is out of the question. What if I stood in front of it? Would that prove to you that it is not going to eat us? And you all will calm down?"

Jaina giggled even harder. "Tyrannosaurus Rex...or T-Rex as it's commonly known...is Latin for 'tyrant lizard' was one of the largest carnivores. That is a replica of what one might have looked like. They aren't real at all. They died out because of the lack of food that occurred when a lot of the herbivore dinosaurs died off." Jaina giggled some more. "I promise you, they were not dragons, at all."Poor thing! Looks like he gets a dinosaur book next! she thought to herself. "I also promise you that it won't move from that spot either." She noticed that the groundskeeper climbed into the exhibit. "See, our groundskeeper is fine. You can't climb in there with him because he's actually breaking the museum rules, but see, he's fine," she smiled at him and squeezed his hand gently. "Guess I'm getting you a new book since you seem to like dinosaurs, huh?" She leaned up and kissed him gently on his cheek. "You're so cute when you're curious."
Cass just sighs and shrugs watching and listening to the rest of the class, thinking 'So much for not taking about magic and muggles and stuff while we are here.'
He carefully moves to one side while staying in full view of the CoMC teacher though he is now looking at a different display very close by. Then seeing the grounds keeper climbing over the little fence Cass groans and starts looking around for security praying that a scene will not happen here as that would be very very hard to get out of easily.
Shaking his head and moving over to the CoMC teacher he taps her should and whispers to her "That will get the museum security to come over here, and it may cause trouble. We are not supposed to cross the fences or little ropes around the displays Professor."
Cass then returns to the near by display hoping that trouble will be light or averted before it happens.

Calm down? Never. It was a dinosaur. "Are you so sure that Mr Ferocious Pants won't eat you? I mean even if he doesn't want to eat you he might.. knock you out for awhile." K-Lee called out, trying to say it loud enough that he would hear her. Even if she had no input into him going in, if he was eaten, she would feel guilty just seeing it happen.
She was not going any closer than she already was so he could hear her if he hadn't. 15-20 metres away from the dino was a good enough distance.

Well she couldn't be too disappointed that he didn't climb up on the dinosaur. And using magic was out of the question because they were at a muggle museum. Shame that.
But in front was better than nothing. She nodded her head with Ellie. And oh! She had her camera! Arya wanted to check and see if her own was with her, but couldn't check her pouch at the moment on account of all the muggles. She'd just get pictures from Ellie later.
"In front works good too." And maybe the picture would have him climbing on the creature.

Chad then moved to the front of the dinosaur and stared up at it. Oh my.
Even though they had established that it was not real, the thing was STILL mighty creepy.

Well she couldn't be too disappointed that he didn't climb up on the dinosaur. And using magic was out of the question because they were at a muggle museum. Shame that.
But in front was better than nothing. She nodded her head with Ellie. And oh! She had her camera! Arya wanted to check and see if her own was with her, but couldn't check her pouch at the moment on account of all the muggles. She'd just get pictures from Ellie later.
"In front works good too." And maybe the picture would have him climbing on the creature.

Dinosaur at school? Eeep! Well maybe she could avoid it at all costs. Though now she thought about it, if it were as loud as this one she'd have nightmares about it.
She'll probably have nightmares about dinosaurs. Like that night after she had watched that dinosaur movie with all the dinosaurs in it. Shiver. That movie freaked her out completely.
Though it might be funny to see the groundskeeper on the dinosaurs back.

"Yes!" She almost shouted in excitement. Make one they ALL could climb on and not have to worry about getting into trouble or muggles. There was no way she was gonna let him back down from this deal.
Then Ellie spoke up and had Arya grinning, eyes going back to the groundskeeper. "Why only have one? I think we should have a dragon AND dinosaur." Fighting each other on the grounds, how AWESOME would that be??
She looked back up at the creature, nose crinkling a bit. "It should be bigger than this though." Much bigger.

Alice nodded as she continued along. "Ooh, a dig sounds like it would be a lot of fun!" Alice followed Mikey and the rest into the next section of the museum and looked carefully. It truly was remarkable that after all these years they still had these bones in perfect condition to look at. Truly remarkable. She was in the middle of reading one of the cards beneath one dinosaur when she spotted Mr. Stryker the groundskeeper getting ready to drop into the pit.
Taking a couple of steps backwards so she could get a better view, Alice watched Mr. Stryker carefully. Leaning over to Mikey so she could whisper to him Alice went, "Do you think he knows that the museum's owners don't want people going into the displays?" Alice asked, looking around for any museum security that may be patrolling.

They aren't real at all. They died out because of the lack of food that occurred when a lot of the herbivore dinosaurs died off." Jaina giggled some more. "I promise you, they were not dragons, at all."Poor thing! Looks like he gets a dinosaur book next! she thought to herself. "I also promise you that it won't move from that spot either." "Professor Stryker will have you cutting the grounds of Hogwarts for the rest of the year!" She tried with her all her might to pull him back. Her kerchief covering her head began to slip off. "Oh, no! Ben, come here quick please and help," she had one hand in Ben's and the other holding her kerchief on her head.
More screams. Heh. "Oh!" And something bumping into her? Or was that someone else? "As Miss Collonny asked, this example is moving because it is being told to move. See, there's a mechanism inside, and someone has probably programmed it to move like that." Did that make sense?
"P-Programmed?" Cass repeated in a confused manner. Probably one of their muggle things. But she didn't have time to ponder on that now... She looked up at the Professor and asked "So, it won't eat us, right?"
