As per the announcement made earlier, the second Charms lesson of the term is to take place, not on the room on the third floor, but in an enclosure in the grounds. This enclosure looks small but is, inside, much larger than a regular classroom. The roof is a mild cream-white and, once you step through the archway that serves as a door, you will see darker desks lining all four walls, leaving most of the space inside the room vacant.
The are large French windows set in each wall, letting light pleasantly flood in. The Professor's desk stands at the front of the classroom, and Jared is standing by it, gloved hands tucked into the pockets of deep black robes, as he waits for the students to start trickling in. Despite the weather outside, the insides of the temporary classroom are pleasantly warm, not too hot but certainly not too cold either.
OOC: Helloooo! Sowwee for the delay. You can RP your charries arriving, but the lesson will probably reaaaally start in five to ten hours. ^__^
"Depulso!" Selina said. People around the room seemed to be rounding up the last of their frogs. At her charm Selina sent two green frogs packing to their new home- the box.
"How do you know you were ever undemoted?" Which...he was probably never demoted in the first place. It was the 'mean' things that he said that made her fond of him.
Unless he meant 'too' as in along with Bishop. Which was immpossible. Bishop was never in a high enough place to be demoted. She just...wasn't. Like how witches 'weren't' to muggles. Yeah.
We ignore your existence, Bishop.
As she failed to do by responding to Little Professor just now. It was just too hard not to respond to him.
She put the froggy back on his desk, intending to let him hop a few inches before immobilizing him again. Or her.
"Because I wasn't demoted in the first place?" Jared asked, sounding quite interested. If he hadn't been demoted, he couldn't be undemoted. Yes?
Yes.
Then she fell silent, and he spent half a minute contemplating if she might choose to speak up again. Apparently, not.
"Galleon for your thoughts?"
Not a knut. Galleon.

It seemed ironic that one of the Slytherins had semi-responded to his remark, but the person he had addressed had decided to ignore him.
"That's four points from Gryffindor," Jared said, expression still neutral.
And?
He cast a Vanishing Charm, and the green and golden frogs that remained in the classroom disappeared, leaving the class free of frogs and any bits of chocolate splattered around. "That's -" Fifteen points each to Ravenclaw and Gryffindor? Both houses had shown equal spirit and co-operation, the two factors he had been looking for, aside from good casting. Equal competitiveness too, even though he hadn't meant for that to be the focus. But then, even if he couldn't pick a clear winner, Ravenclaw had managed to save a little more of their chocolate frogs than Gryffindor. "Twenty points to Ravenclaw and fifteen to Gryffindor for spirit and co-operation."
"Class dismissed. Homework will appear on the notice board outside the classroom, shortly."
....
"There's a box of chocolate frogs here." He glanced down at his desk. "In case someone's hungry... grab some."

Selina beamed when the Professor awarded fifteen points to Gryffindor. She and Kurumi had worked really hard to get the rest of the Gryffindor's involved and it looked like it had payed off! Sure they had not been the clear winner, but that was not the point. The point was to have a lot of fun and work together with your house mates. They had succeeded.
When he mentioned the homework she nodded, but the true excitement came from the mention of candy. As quietly as possible Selina tip-toed over to the box and grabbed a hand full of frogs stuffing them in her bag... she had a bad sweet tooth. How many frogs did she have? She could not even tell you.

Finally! All the frogs were gooooone!
Smiling slightly at the mention of Rex losing points, for whatever reason though the Slytherin had no clue whatsoever, Evelyn placed the sack of immobilized chocolate frogs on her desk before sitting down to pack up her things. Meh, Ravies and Gryffindorks got the points. Whatever. She had more awesome things to think about. Like...dragon stuff...
Aaand, class dismissed.
Good. She had a question.
Waiting for whatever was being said to...Eh, really? Who'd want to eat chocolate frogs after chasing them for a good amount of time? Meh. "Professor D?" she asked, moving up to the front of the class, slinging her bag over her shoulder. Yup, since she couldn't remember his name, he shall be named Professor D from now on. "I have a question. Do you know what makes the chocolate frogs all...frog like? Is it like a charm or something?"

Amadeus was grateful that the lesson was over. Running after candy toadies could be quite tiring, especially when competition for house points was involved. Grabbing his book bag and placing his wand inside, he nodded and the professor and smiled, glad to have helped steer Ravenclaw to victory. "Thank you, Professor. See you during the next lesson." Waving goodbye to his friend, Roderigo, he made sure he had collected all of his things before walking off to his next lesson.

Charley felt like jumping with joy, but she avoided an excessive reaction because of her best friends, and instead grinned widely then turned and looked at Belle and Jaina. "I'll go get us a couple frogs, and we can wait outside a few minutes to copy down our coursework." She went up to Professor Descoteaux's desk, and grabbed six frogs, putting them in her bag.
"Thank you so much for the wonderful lesson today, Professor. I really enjoyed it," she said with a wide smile. She went over to where Benjamin was sulking and gave him one of the chocolate frogs, then gave Belle and Jaina two each, leaving one for herself in her back. She took out her a piece of parchment and a muggle pen so she could copy down the work.

Emily laughed, "Ahh of course, I see."... "Although you lot we're second out, I'm afraid we beat you to it", she said grinning broadly.
"Depulso", said Emily as she watched two green frogs fly over their heads and land in the box.
Emily turned to the Professor to hear his response to Rex's question. She was just as curious... and couldnt be bothered simply counting the frogs.
" No problem, we worked togrther well in class" Rex responed To emily about the frogs. " Fantastic job by you" Rex congratukated Emily. " I have seen you in class, but never out on HogWarts' grounds" Rex told Emily. "As a matter of fact, this is only the first time I really had a chance to talk to you" Rex said to Emily. " O know, you can't go out because every time you go out, so mant boys suroound a pretty girl like you" Rex explained to Emily.

Roderigo slowly rose out of his chair, yawning and stretching his arms. He was happy that he helped his house win 20 house points, but was also wiped out. He reached for his bag, which was now laying on the floor, the charm had worn off by then. Slinging the strap onto his shoulder and pocketing his wand, Roderigo slowly sauntered out of the classroom. But the thought of having a little snack struck him, and he came back into the room. He grabbed two blue chocolate frogs and pocketed one of them. Biting the head off of the other one, the Spaniard walked out of the classroom.
Twenty points, for being cooperative. Annie grinned wide at the thought of helping her house gain those twenty points, it as far than she could ever achieve in two classes. As she pocketed her wand, there was this little urge she had to stop, the one of eating the chocolate frogs right there beside the professor.
"Thanks for the lesson and the frog , Professor Descoteaux. It has become, indeed something to remember..." The seventh year said and took a chocolate frog before leaving the classroom.

Hmm. Touche, Little Professor. ...Whatever 'Touche' meant.
Huh?
Wait... does she really get a Galleon if she told him? That was enough incentive. Totally.
And, the class was withering away since the lesson had ended.
Ellie kept her eyes on the blue frog, which was back in her hand, and shrugged. "'M just thinking about all the changes this term..." Mostly the staff changes. Though, Ikenna didn't cross her mind at all... she kinda forgot about him. He seemed to do a pretty good job of staying out of the limelight, in her opinion.

"YAY! Good job Gryffindors!!!" Nika jumped up in the air and did a twirl! More house points! They could really use those because they weren't in the lead anymore. Maybe this will help get them back to the top. "Oh, and congrats Ravenclaws" she added. Nika took a few chocolate frogs and ran up to her professor. "Thank you Professor! This was such a fun lesson!" Charms. A new favorite? Perhaps... She gave her professor a rather unexpected hug.

If Septimus was a little girl, he'd be squealing. He stuffed his pockets full of chocolate frogs. "THANK YOU SO MUCH YOU ARE MY FAVORITE PROFESSOR IN THE WORLD!!" He struggled to restrain himself from hugging the professor. This guy was definitely his favorite professor now. His best friend was any man that gave him chocolate frogs.

The class was over?.... the frogs disappeared?... this was somewhat disappointing, but it was bound to happen at some point. Emily grabbed a normal coloured chocolate frog from Professor Descoteux's desk and shoved it in her mouth... she was starving. She then turned to Rex. "Thanks, I think everyone worked really well, it was a lot of fun", she replied, Emily could feel herself blushing, her cheeks were suddenly warm. "I know... I never seem to get out much and when I do its not for long. What with study for newts, homework and quidditch practice I just spend most of my time in the common room." Emily paused. Perhaps she should get out more often, socialise, have fun... enough of all the seriousness. "I'm glad we got the chance to talk... and I didn't offend you!" she said suddenly... "Believe it or not this semester I've been offending a lot of people... not on purpose, just through misunderstanding and differences in point of view." she said sullenly... thinking back to all the conversations about muggles... and the one about divination with a fellow Ravie.
...What did Rex just say? Emily froze out of shock, though instead of going white she could feel herself blushing again.... violently. She had suddenly become very hot, and no doubt very red. "Um... thanks Rex, really sweet of you," she started, "But it's actually not like that. In fact I don't get noticed very often... not like that anyway."
She stopped to think about the last time any of the guys at the school complemented/approached her in that way. "In fact... the last time was at the start of term.... by a first year Slytherin. Talk about awkward." she added.
Looking around the class at all the students around them, going about their business. "You know what, I think I will get out a bit more from now on... in fact I might even do that now... stop ny the lake... or get some lunch first...." Emily said as an after thought. Her stomach rummbled- it was not happy. "So I guess... we might run into each other." she said smiling.
Emily decided she liked Rex, and if she was going to run into anyone out in the grounds she wouldn't mind if it was him.
Packing her wand and her forgotten notes in her bag, she got reasy to leave.
"I guess I'll see you later then", she said as a goodbye.
Emily turned to Professor Descoteux, "Thanks for the brilliant lesson and the chocolate frog Professor", she said as she made her way across the class.
"Because I wasn't demoted in the first place?" Jared asked, sounding quite interested. If he hadn't been demoted, he couldn't be undemoted. Yes?
Yes.

Jaina looked at the professor in shock. "Um, Professor....what about the Hufflepuffs?? It was only two of us and we played fair and we worked REALLY hard." She wasn't trying to be ungrateful, but wanted her and Belle to be rewarded for their hardwork...I mean after all they were the ONLY 2 hufflepuffs that were doing anything! AND a Ravenclaw hit her with 2 of her own froggies....yeah a reward for effort....yeah 5 points to each of us for effort!!!

Kurumi once again melted to the ground at the Professor's words that all the frogs were gone. Not only that, but Gryffindor had earned 15 points for their efforts! Kurumi caught Selina's eye and gave her a thumbs up. Well, technically 11 since Rex had cost them 4 points.
Then, Kurumi felt a bit sick when the Professor offered the chocolate frogs in the box for them to eat. "N-N-No thank you," Kurumi said feeling her eyes glaze over a bit and her head becoming a bit fuzzy. "I think I have had enough chocolate frogs for a life time." And she still had a box sitting in her trunk up in the dormitory. "But, thank you for the offer," she said adding a little bow at the end. "And thank you for the lesson, Professor Descoteaux."
She then gathered up her things and was about to leave the classroom when a question popped into her mind - related to baking...and Charms by extension. "Professor, about chocolate frogs...they melt like regular chocolate, but I was wondering if there was a way to keep the Charm place on them even if they melted," she said getting a bit caught up in the wording but hoping that she was making sense. "I mean, I am trying to come up with a cookie recipe using chocolate frogs where they still have that hopping aspect to them despite them being in a cookie."

No points for Slytherin? At all? Oh well.. it was just a competition, wasn't it?
Helena packed her stuff and stood up, but... she didn't take any chocolate frogs. It was chocolate, but it was still frog-shaped. Chocolate frogs weren't exactly her favourite. She looked at professor Descoteaux and smiled. "Goodbye, professor."
As the last frog vanished, Patroclus re-holstered his wand, and gently massaged his shoulder. He had whacked some powerful swings
Returning to his desk, the Lion Prefect packed up his belongings shouldered his leather book bag and headed towards the door, "Thanks for the active lesson Sir," he grinned, "It was nice to get the blood pumping, see you later!"
Spotting the chocolates as he neared the door, Patroclus went to take one, then rethought it, he had just worked up and apetite, but perhaps a healty lunch would be better.

"Well done everyone!" Emily said to the whole room.
She picked up her bag and a frog as she left the room. "Thanks for another amazing lesson sir!"
This was why charms was her favourite class! It was a fun, and she learned things!
