Adam looked at her with one raised eyebrow a screaming journal-that'd scare the living daylights out of someone ."So I have to come to you to write in it?Wait you said you have to open it-is this yours?"Adam now asked using all the muscles in him to pry it opened

"It is mine," Kurumi nodded. She had bought it after all. "Wait, Adam, don't open tha---." Too late. A thrill scream excaped from the book sounding like the combination of a stuck pig and nails on a chalkboard. "I told you not to try and open it!" She half scolded half laughed as she tried to slam the cover shut and return the gold ribbon binding around it. "It has like a touch recognition spell on it. Only I can open it without it screaming."

"So you have to see my emotions and secrets- not that we have already shared that. YOU have to open it for me? Can't that became a hassle of sorts?"Adam asked. The idea seemed good if it belonged to her, but having Adam accidentally open a screaming journal did not sound a good idea at the moment.

"Do you want a journal?" Kurumi asked setting her canary yellow one on the ground. It wasn't anything personal, but sharing a journal kind of defeated the purpose of one. "I don't have another screaming one, but I am sure I have another notebook that we could put some sort of charm on so that only you can open it."

"I have a few extras in my dresser drawer," Kurumi nodded petting Momotaro a bit more and hearing the little guy coo softly. "I can try using a Colloshoo charm or Colloportus, then you just need the proper wand movement and incantation to open it." Was that a sign that they should start heading back to the Gryffindor common room? "I have," Kurumi nodded slowly setting Momotaro on her lap. "With Eino in the library the other day..."

"So your "Father" you think he has lied to you about his name, or did he just change it to protect your family for some reason?"He suggested, that could've been a reason.
To learn out that your father's name was never imprinted into any book was downright untrustworthy and scary, what if that wasn't her father?

She didn't know why her father's name was different in Internal Magic Through the Ages and the Wizards Who Were, but there he had been with a half paged sized picture and a description of him that she had been too afraid to read. "There was no Charles Michael Hollingberry, but there was a Charles Michael Gaunt with my father's picture next to the name."

"Maybe your father changed his name for a certain reason- after he married your mother. Have you ever thought of it like that. But then know you know his name? Maybe we can owl him later this week and ask him why it is in such a manner?"Adam asked as he also suggested at the same time.

Kurumi shrugged her shoulders. "If my parents wouldn't even tell my brother and I that we are witches and wizards, I doubt they are going to explain why father changed his name." She frowned and looking down at the pygmy puff who had seemed to have fallen asleep on her lap. "I can try though," she smiled weakly not wanting to totally ignore Adam's suggestions. "Eino was telling me about the Gaunt family...an ancient, in-bred, pure-blood wizarding family that is one of the last remaining pureblood families in Britain." Kurumi wasn't sure where she was going with her thought process, but that should be enough to give Adam an idea.

Kurumi nodded her head in response a little too frazzled to form words at the moment. Eino was certainly very helpful when doing research and provided lots of helpful insight. Adam, while he always meant well, could be distracting at times. Still, with all these shocking realizations she was uncovering, having Adam next to her, holding her hand in a sense, would really help her in ways that Eino couldn't. Seeing her desperate attempt to have Adam by her side he smiled slightly.
"Sure I will. Just say the time, date and place and I'll be there. It can be our little study session- you know..."He smiled, as he nudged her in a playful way.

Adam sat down with his legs upright. He was more than nervous to tell her this, but he had to do it sooner or later. After a while- a whole week- of thinking about his deep conversation with Selina he came up with the fact that he'd rather tell Kurumi now and let the stress and saddness have more time to transform over the whole year rather than a month.
