Alice walked in to the practice room, excited to continue working on the incendio charm. She walked over to the designated blue circle that people using the fire charm were supposed to stand.

"Focalia," Alice said after imaging the same pile of wood she had produced at the lesson. She was pleased to find she could still do the spell considering she had only tried it once in class. She usually felt like she had beginner's luck more often than skill...perhaps with magic it would be different.

"Professor Kingsley? I was wondering if you could show me the vanishing spell? I never got a chance to ask you before class was dismissed the other day, and you mentioned you could show me?"

Jenny smiled as she walked into the practice room. Since she and Kurumi were never able to make smores in the stands during the third task, it seemed like the practice room was the only place to do so. And they can continue practicing at the same time...talk about killing two birds with one stone. She quickly walked to the blue circle, took out her wand, and pointed it inside the blue circle. "Focalia!" A few pieces of dark brown wooden planks appeared; hopefully that was good enough. Maybe she should wait for Kurumi before making the fire...

Jenny noticed that another girl was already on the circle, asking for help from the professor. "Hi!" Jenny gave a small wave to the girl. Not wanting to bother her, Jenny quickly turned back to her own pile of wood.

Jaxon entered the practice room and nodded. It looks like the secret room he had at home.

He then saw two more students there including the Professor.

After a while, he heard a student asked about the vanishing spell. He then walked up to her. "Professor, if you may." he said looking at the Professor. "Vanishing Spells are not taught until the Fifth year, but I will show you how it is done."

Jaxon then took his wand from his pocket and pointed it to the pile of wood the girl has produced. He flicked his wand and muttered, Evanesco and the pile of wood vanished.

Kurumi skipped into the parctice room and spotted Jenny. She raised her right hand in the air to show that she had brought a bag of goodies for all their smore needs. Noticing that Jenny had already gathered some wood, she set her things down and pulled out her scarf. "Shall we make this like real camping?" she laughed as she took out her wand and set the scarf on the ground. "Vestis vellus!" she said as her red scarf now turned into a wool blanket large enough for the two of them to sit on. Hmm...it was a bit chilly in the room...she then pulled out another scarf and pointed her wand at it. "Vestis cotone!" and now there was a nice cotton blanket for them to wrap up in. Kurumi checked on their wood and made sure that it was within the blue circle as instructed. "Time to light the fire?"

"Yep!" Jenny nodded to Kurumi as she came in. She brought all the smore stuff...yay! And Kurumi didn't need to make the wool blanket that big...but oh well. Quickly Jenny took out her blue scarf. She tried to think of the comfortable blue blanket she had earlier, except with a material she was more comfortable with. "Vestis cotone!" Now her scarf became a nice blue cotton blankie...much better.

Jenny turned to the pile of wood again. "Incendio!" Jenny made her voice as confident as she could. A small pout of fire came out of her wand into the wood. Hm. She had done much better before.

Well...at least there was no giant pillar of fire. "Maybe I should help add some fuel to the fire," Kurumi said taking out her wand and aiming very carefully this time. "INCENDIO!" she said in a slightly louder than was really needed but very clear voice. A large ball of fire flew out of her wand and hit the wood sending a few pieces flying out of the blue circle. Oops...Kurumi ran over and picked those up before tossing them back into the fire. Hmmm...maybe they needed some more wood?

"That's a great idea!" Jenny said as she noticed Kurumi putting the scrap pieces of wood back into the fire. Just add more wood! There you go! Jenny pointed her wand again, trying to focus as the slightly larger fire continued burning. "Focalia!" A few more sturdy planks of wood appeared in the circle...except one went straight into the firewood and bounced off it, heading for Kurumi. Uh oh.

Flying wood! Everyone duck and cover!

"Protego!Protego!" Kurumi squeeked. Thank Merlin she still had her wand in her hands. The log bounced off her shield and went in the opposite direction and crashed into the wall. Kurumi looked at it as is rolled towards them and stopped a few feet away. "Bad wood!" she scolded it before using a hovering charm to bring it back to their fire. "Now to just set it down..." A loud POP from the fire distracted her and she ended up dropping the log smack dab in the middle of the flame.

EEEK! Had she just killed the fire?!

Jenny quickly gave a sigh of relief as she saw Kurumi deflect the wood off with her shield charm. Whew! Lucky for quick reflexes.

Jenny looked towards the place where Kurumi accidentally dropped the wood. "Um...the fire died a bit, but no problem. Just do incendio again." Jenny pointed her wand. But a tiny doubt grew in her mind. What if the wood exploded next?

Oops...this was going to take them until next term to get a fire started at this rate. Kurumi looked back and forth between the fire and Jenny. Using her foot, she kicked around some of the logs a bit and summoned some of the wood chips she had done during the lesson. Maybe, if they started bruning smaller things they could actually keep the fire going? "Incendio," she said as another big ball of fire shot out of her wand and caught all the wood chips on fire.

Wahoo! No pillar of fire again!

-grumbe grumble-

Kurumi was getting a bit hungry. She went to her bag of smore supplies and grabbed one of the sticks and stabbed a marshmallow with it. She then pointed her wand at it and said "Incendio." She was going to toast a marshmallow even if there was no fire! A steady flow of fire came sprouting out of her wand and began toasting her marshmallow.

Jenny raised her eyebrows as Kurumi used her wand to toast her marshmallow. Should she even do that? What if she accidentally burned something outside the blue circle?

Shrugging to herself, Jenny picked a fluffy marshmallow from the bag and attached it to a stick that Kurumi brought. Then she held it over the newly lit fire.

"It smells good." Jenny looked over. "Do you think the Professor would mind if we eat in the practice room?" she asked Kurumi.

MEEP!

Kurumi hadn't thought about the whole food thing. Her and Jenny had been so excited about marshmallows that she hadn't even thought about it maybe being a problem. She looked over at the watchful professor and then back at Jenny. "He did mention no food in class," she said. But this wasn't a class...it was a practice room. There wasn't anything that explicitly said NO FOOD. She looked down at their fire and Jenny's toasting marshmallow and then back at her perfectly golden brown one. "Probably should have checked before we started roasting..."

Kurumi slowly made her way over to the PROFESSOR. "Um...excuse me...professor..."Kurumi said nervously holding her marshmallow skewer. "What is the policy on food in the training room...?"

Alice smiled warmly at the the girl who had joined her in the practice room. Looks like she wasn't the only one who wanted to get a better grip on the spell.

As Alice was about to have Professor Kingsley show her the spell another student who had come in came over to her. Alice watched as he performed the proper spell, the wood vanishing completely.

"Thank you so much!" Alice said with a smile at the boy. "My name is Alice by the way. What's yours?"

Hey, at least the girl didn't completely ignore her. Better to have someone just smile than just give a weird disgusted look, right?

Jenny pulled her marshmallow stick out of the fire as she watched Kurumi ask for the professor. If there was no food allowed in here, it was better to be safe than sorry...so best not to completely toast the marshmallow yet.

Jenny, feeling quite hot now, put her blanket down on the floor (carefully away from the fire), but just when she pulled out her wand, she stopped. Uh oh...what was the reversal spell again? Evanesco or something like that?

Mwahahaha.

He could NOT believe this was going to be allowed. And in a safe environment. Because it would be weird to notice a boy starting a fire outside a classroom, no?

Treyen ran towards the practice room and stopped at the door. Once entering, he did so rather slowly, taking his time, as if time was something that didn't go by as fast as it seemed to be going. It was March already, for crying out loud!

The boy set his things aside and he walked over the that blue circle. Haha. The best one, for sure.

His wand was already out, and now his eyes were closed so he could make this happen. "Focalia" he said, making the wand movement all the while. And then his eyes opened to find two logs who were inside the blue circle. Aha! Now...the fun part, "Incendio" he said, at the dry wood, and his eyes simply marveled at the sight of fire. The pretty flames. They were so pretty.

So, he took a seat, and watched the fire burned the wood. Amazing. Nature and magic were amazing.

Rex aims his wand at a piece of wood next to him. Rex waves his wand, makes an X movement in the air saying " Focalia". Presto, firewood.
Rex points his wand at the firewood. Rex calls out " Incendio" and now there is fire. Rex used a extinguishing spell to put out the fire.

"hello rex" can you teach me some spells she asked.i not very good at Transfiguration.she took out her wand.

Firewood appeared in front of her. Trying once again to use incendio to light the firewood she almost threw her wand down in frustration when she once again failed

Louisa had a really good morning and now it was time to practice the spells she learnt in transfiguration (not that she had a choice). The little girl stepped into the room to find a few students already practicing there. Cool. There would be people to help her if another huge blanket covered her... again.

With her wand in one hand and her scarf in another, Louisa went to an empty corner and threw her bag on the ground to use it as a sitting-pillow. She, then, put her scarf in front of her and "Vestis cotone." She casted at the blue scarf which turned into a cotton blanket –well sized- instantly.

" Ok, I will help you with your spells tommorow" Rex told Joey.

"thanks cousin" she smiled.well i only know spell i make up that really work she laughed.

" Ok ,watch me" Rex told Joey. Take your wand, point it at a piece of wood, make an X in the air while saying " Focalia" Rex told her. "See, firewood" Rex said to Joey. "Point your wand at the firwood and call out " Incendio" and presto fire" Rex explained to Joey.

Joey makes a x then " Focalia" i did it i see firewood. " Incendio" the firewood has fire.

"St. James. Jaxon St. James is my name" he said in with a nice tone in this voice. He extends his hand to shake hers.

"So, if you need help you can ask me for help too." he added with a smile.
