"Wow m-muggle school. What sort of sports did you p-p-play?" *It wasn't hard for him to see that this girl like sports. The fact alone that she was riding around on wheels in a pumpkin patch told him that. Matty growled inwardly that he was still stuttering. It was a hard nervous habit.*

Actually she was surprised that she had come up and talked to him as well. Mia didn't think it would be very nice if she mentioned that she had been tempted to walk away when she had first laid eyes on him. "We all have our quirks."

Mia kinda didn't understand that either and figured that there was more to it than that. And either Carter didn't want to say or he was just as clueless as she was. "Perhaps she just really missed you and thought that you might find someone else while you were gone?" Girls could be rather insecure about these things. Boys never got that though.

She laughed as he stepped away from her. "It was an accident. And it was my father. He was teaching me...actually I can't remember which spell he was trying to teach me but it had obviously gone wrong." Obviously.

"Oh yes. We call it soccer in Australia. Yeah I've played that as well." Mia knew what he meant about American football and she chuckled, she didn't get the game either.

She smiled at the look on his face. "Well you had me fooled as well. I was certain that you were from a wizarding family. You seem to know a lot of stuff."

"Yeah we are. Too close some times." Mia laughed again and stepped around Carter so that she could get a closer look at the pumpkins. "There's not a lot of privacy which can be a pain at times. But it's nice to have people around that care about you. Birthdays and Christmas are always good times."

This time, he had to blink rapidly. Merlin's beard even taking a small step backwards was in order. "Kiss someone? Arya you...you don't have to...kiss someone before you like someone...or to like someone." Usually kissing came after, right? But, why was she talking about kissing. It was at moments like these that he wished blushing was a voluntary reaction. "I was curious...because I was curious...and...I've got to...look out for you."

No, today was a fun day.

Lori was going to have fun. Or try to, you know. Erk. Fun was supposed to be fun, not something you had to try to do. Sigh.

In her light pink vest top, frilly skirt, and pink shoes that Adam had brought her [see our PP *loves*], she flounced through the grounds flashing her badge at anyone that seemed to catch her eye. Hehe. Yummy people. *noms*

Deciding that she had seen a few little pretty pumpkins, that she could possibly take to the kitchens and ask the House Elves to plop something together for her, she headed into the Pumpkin Patch. Only, of course, to be greeted by a bloody marshmallow meeting her head.

"OI! I'm a Prefect, and you're in ruddy trouble!" Marshmallows were for EATING! Not attacking pretty pink prefects with. HMPF.

Arya quickly took a step to Sabel's side when he took a small step to the side, having been behind him the whole time. The girl was slightly embarrassed by his response, but her curiosity on the subject had hidden any of it. "You don't? How do you know if you like them then?" Stepping over a large vine, she glanced back up at Sabel who seemed eternally red. A smile creeping on her face. "I know, and if I did like someone I'm sure you would have found out by now." News traveled fast in the big castle.

"How do you..." He stood there, gaping like a fish out of water as he blinked rapidly down at the little Hufflepuff. Did she not have a big brother to tell her these things? He was pretty sure she did. More heat pressed onto his face and he took another sidestep as she moved, not entirely sure why he did it though. "You...feel it...first....an...attraction...that's...what makes you...want to....kiss...." Why was she smiling like that?

"Ohhhhh little houses out of pumpkins", Fee said amazed",if so i want to live in one."
*giggle*

"Oh i would sprinkle your hair with it", Fee laughed,"that would look incredeble."
Yes, the imagination was just amazing.
"You so are, Mister heartbreaker."

"An attraction," She mused, balancing on a rather large vine before hopping off of it. Her eyes flicked to the dumbstruck boy, smile still present. He was acting rather odd to her questions. She was merely being curious to the whole emotions behind liking someone. "Do you like someone?" She hadn't seen him with anyone, but you never know.

" Go ahead, I would love my hair with glitter in it" Rex told Fee." Well, it would be a different look for me" Rex said to Fee. "Am I really a heartbreaker?" Rex asked Fee, " I do nor mean to be a heartbreaker" Rex explained to Fee,

This time, the step backwards took his heel into an upturned vine and nearly sent him dropping to the ground. Stumbling back a foot, he somehow managed to regain his balance, though not his nerves. Had she just asked him...but how was he supposed to...was that what this was? Merlin's bushy eyebrows. "I....uhm....am still trying to figure it out." Please don't ask what that meant. Please.

It didn't seem that Sabel was capable of giving her any straight answers. All of them just lead to another question, like this one. "Who is she?" Certainly he could at least answer this question. How much was there to figure out. Placing her cupped hand on the side of a pumpkin, she let a lady bug crawl into it.

He wasn't sure if he bit his bottom lip simply out of consideration or to stop himself from blurting out some nonsense. This, had been a very, very bad topic to pick. Instead of focusing on the answer, or rather the question itself, he found himself watching Arya and the ladybug, his mind drifting blank for another minute. "...Are you hungry?"

She hadn't missed him avoiding her question. The ladybug in her hand held her eyes, but she was still wanting to know who he liked. "I guess I could eat." The girl wasn't to hungry, but she wouldn't say no to desserts. Watching the ladybug crawl to the tips of her fingers, she slowly brought her hand up to her face. "Are you not gonna tell me?"

Watching her, things were starting to make a little more sense. But just a little. Slowly, he moved to stand in front of her, his eyes following the padded tiny motions of the ladybug as it moved over her thin fingers. Reaching up slowly, he slid his fingers up her palm until his hand was resting against hers, palm-to-palm. He was surprised at how softly his voice came, how steady it was, but more so the lack of heat that was now on his face; strange. "I'm not sure...you'd want to know..."

Her eyes were still on the ladybug as Sabel moved in front of her, and slid his hand on hers. Smiling at him, she watched the ladybug move from the tips of her fingers to his. Keeping her hand on his she finally let her eyes wonder to his green ones. "Of course I wanna know." Arya would have to check out the girl with Ivy.

"Not free. That's what worries me, querida. That I am a part of only your past. But do not fear. I am going to be at your side until I am ordered to go. Because here's the thing- even if you aren't mine... I will always be yours. Always. And, my love, I believe you. Because I know how you feel. I am perfectly comfortable here in England because I too believe you are my home. Isn't that a song?" He hummed the bars softly. "That's alright my love, cuz you're my home." He smiled. "If you are sure you are alright, my brasileira."

Jayce shrugged. "Well you don't, but i should have a better memory so i could remember these things." He sighed. Mehh. Stupid brain. REMEMBER BETTER BRAIN!

Jayce grinned. "Nope. I've had better ideas in the past when it came to games and such." he shrugged. "But as for that idea i just had," he replied, pointing to his pumpkin covered shoes. "it was terrible." Plain and simple. "It's soooo not over." he grinned some more, resisting the urge to smirk at her.

Watching Hayley closely, he stood, unarmed with pumpkin guts. But then.. she.. was coming over to him? But she didn't have any pumpkin in her hand either.. Err.. what was she doing. And then, the wrapped her arms around him. "Ewwwww. Gerroff me!" he protested, hiding his smirk from her view.

Of course. Of course, of course. Sighing, he let his eyes drop to the ladybug, watching it's speckled back wander about their fingertips. If she wasn't Arya, and he wasn't Sabel, he could probably get away with lying to her, or simply shrugging it off. As it was, his conscious wouldn't permit it, but he couldn't help wonder of the consequences. And fear them.

Slowly, timidly, he glanced back up at her, feeling the sudden need just to bolt. "It's....you...." Dear Merlin help him.

Arya frowned at Sabel. The ladybug forgotten as she sighed. "I know you like me," They had just went through this. "Who do like like? Who's the girl you wanna kiss?" There. If that didn't clear it up, she didn't know what did.

This was just....going over her head wasn't it. He could feel the blush rising on his cheeks again as he watched her. Did he really have to answer this question. "Arya....I...." Good Merlin. "You." It was at this moment he sort of hoped a root would randomly yank him down, out of her line of sight.

Arya....just sat there. She had finally understood what he was trying to say. Finally. He like her. Like, I wanna kiss you, liked her. She was dumbstruck. How did she even respond to that. "I-" Don't really like anyone like that. Let alone one of her best friends. Arya wouldn't tell him that though, she didn't have to. He had already known.

Blinking a few times, mouth slightly agape, she quickly stood up and looked at one of the other pumpkins. This was weird. "I have to.....go. Study." Yea. Cause this was to weird for her.

Taking a step back, being mindful of the vines, she looked down at him once more. Awkward. She turned and ran out of pumpkin patch. Before it got any weirder.

"I'm sorry." Were about the only words he managed to get off before she left.

Stupid. Just plain stupid. He kicked a small clump of dirt before plopping down onto one of the pumpkins and dropping his head in his hands. He shouldn't have said anything. For once, lying would have been better. Now, he very likely just ruined the best friendship he had. Stupid. Utterly stupid.

It took him a while before he got the will to get up and head back slowly to the castle. What, had he been thinking?

Drew laughed and shrugged slightly. "Ohhhh I don't know maybe because I don't like to talk as much as you." He said teasing of course and he knew Annie knew thaaat! "I could say the same. So you are welcome and thank you so very much for loving me." He said and he gave her a light kiss on the forehead.

"Yeaaaah I guess. You are right about that." He said with a small sigh.

Annie squealed. So far, this birthday date was going better than expected. Of course, only Drew could accomplish that! She hugged him and let out a long and calm sigh when Drew kissed her forehead. Nothing else could really end this...happiness. Not even the stressful life school was itself.

"The pumpkin patch was a great place. Thanks for helping me choose." Annie mentioned, really wanting to let go of all this jealousy problems both had to forget at times. Ufff. She looked around and smiled, then turned back to Drew. "I think I want a pumpkin pie..." She was hungry. UGH.

"I love you," Eirian murmured simply, closing her eyes. Thiago... he really was hers. Hugging him to her, she placed her head on his shoulder and closed her eyes. "I am tired...." It was true. Her emotions took quite a toll on her energy level, and she was tired as it was. She hadn't been able to sleep well, thinking of the issues that had presented themselves to her. Sigh... since when did her mind run itself to the point of exhaustion? Since she lost her best friend, apparently.
