Nono? He hadn't heard that name in awhile.

But now that he has, a giant smile broke across his face as he chuckled. His mood lighten considerably as he nodded, glancing around the kitchen. Now that he thought about it, he was getting rather hungry. A warm sandwich sounded good, and so did soup. Perhaps both?

Before he could even suggest it, something suddenly blocked his vision. Ack! "Wha-?" Oh, apron. Grabbing it off his head, his gaze found Rhea once more, his own eyebrow raising. "I'm not terrible at it." Which was true. "Can you cook?" Hmm? HMMM?

Snickering, he wrapped the apron around himself, satisfied that it was just plain white. "And, we are having whatever you want."

Rhea sniggered when Noel said that he wasn't horrible at cooking. She knew what that meant. It meant he probably wouldn't burn water but she probably shouldn't put too much trust into his cooking. But then he asked her if she could cook and both her eyebrows almost cleared her forehead. " I happen to be a great cook, just not as good a baker." she wasn't all that bad at it but it was nothing like her Grammy's. That would could bake!

She shook her head when Noel said that they would be having what she wanted. Pfft if it was left to her, they would be snacking down fruits. But No, Noel hadn't enjoyed their food all that much so the least she could do now was to make him something that he would like. She adjusted the apron around her frame then her hands rested on her hips as she looked at him.

" Noel Laurent, what do you want to have?" she asked again in the most no nonsense voice she could muster. She almost scared herswlf with how much she sounded like her mother.

"I am mostly a pastery chef," she admitted as she popped the cookie tray into the oven. "I come here at least 3 times a week to bake cookies and I usually just leave them in the common room." Kurumi looked around for a sponge to wipe up the mess from earlier and instead was handed one by her house elf friend Twinkle. "Ah, thank you Twinkle."

"i come here every morning and i bake cookies" she smiled.currently trying out a brownie cookie mix.i use cake mix as cookie batter.what are the names of the house elves.

Kurumi looked at the brownie cookie mix box. "I've never used one of these before," she said turning it over a few times in her hands. She pulled out her recipe notebook from her robe's pocket. "I make everything from scratch." She then looked down at Twinkle who was looking up at her with big green doe eyes. "Well, this one is Twinkle," she explained introducing them. "The three over there are Suppy, Grawy, and Affi." The other house elves were appearing and disappearing too quickly for her to be able to tell who was coming and going.

"I do also but sometimes i want get to classes so i use brownie mix but i make homemade brownie cookie batter when i have time.nice to meet you Twinkle Suppy,Grawy,Affi.I have for house elves at homes there like i forgot what their called but they bring the things i need or help with the dish.i want to teach you a cookie called new england cake cookies.Suppy will you make a pot of coffee please suppy nods and turn on the coffee maker.its like chocolate chip cookies but with coffee.

Not a good baker? Well he could change that. "I happen to be an exzellent baker." No not really. He knew how to bake simple cookies and such, but he was mostly referring to one thing in particular. His favorite dessert of course.

Moving over to what he thought was a pantry, his blue eyes scanned the ingredients as he waited for an answer on what Rhea wanted to make. Seemed like they could make anything with the amount of ingredients that was in here. His eyebrows raised in surprise at the tone of voice the young woman used though, causing him to laugh. She sounded like his mother. Looking over his shoulder, Noel crossed his arms and leaned against the pantry doorway, thinking about it.

"Alright. Well, how about I teach you how to make Clafouti? It'z my favorite dezzert, and zen you get to zay zat you are a good baker." Because he was a good teacher (at least, he liked to think so), which in return, meant she would know how to bake something rather well. Obviously, hehe.

Kurumi wrinkled her nose a bit. She didn't like the idea of having house elves in the first place. Probably why she took extra time to get to know the names of all the ones working in the kitchen. It just seemed...wrong. "My family doesn't have house elves," she said proudly as she finished cleaning a bowl. "Which New England cake cookie are we making? Spider? Blueberry?" Kurumi flipped through her recipe notebook. She had a few versions of the cookies that she had tweeked with herself.

"there payed house elves she said smiling.joey gets out her cook.there bars really we need a deep baking pan.well these are ones my mom jamie makes.we need one cup of coffee,one bag of chocolate chips,flour,sugar,baking power,vanilla,eggs.she starts mixing the eggs,sugar,vanilla in one bowl.

Kurumi checked on the coffee. Paid or not, Kurumi still didn't like the idea of house elves - especially having house elves and not knowing their names. Seeing that they had a cup of freshly brewed coffee done, she thanked the house elf and the poured it into a measuring up. "Here you go," she said handing it to Joey. The smell of the coffee was so strong that she half expected Sophia to come bursting down the doors. That girl did like her coffee.

my house elves names are rose,Kylee,Rugby,von.joey pour the coffee into the bowl,then she mix the soilds and liquids in one bowl she pour the chocolate chips into the batter and mixed it.would like to make the icing.she hand her the powder suagr.

Kurumi wasn't sure how Joey made her icing usually, but Kurumi decided to just go with her own method. Coffee was pretty bitter, so adding a little extra sugar to the icing mixture wouldn't hurt. Going with her fluffy white frosting recipe, Kurumi gathered 1½ cups sugar, ⅓ cup water, ¼ teaspoon cream of tartar, two egg whites and one teaspoon of vanilla extract and began mixing them together in a double boiler - except the vanilla, that would come later. Once the water in the pan had begun to boil, she inserted the bowl containing the ingredients and began stirring constantly. Her arms getting a bit tired, she slowed down. "I forgot how much effort this takes," she laughed as the consistancy of the mixture began to thicken into icing. "And now for the vanilla," she said as she took the bowl out of the water and began blending in the vanilla extract and beating the mixture till it got cool. "Alrighty, 5 cups of icing finished."

Once again Noel sent Rhea's brows up to her hairline (almost). He could bake? Mr. My nose is always buried in a book, could bake?! Who would have figured. A small smirk tugged on her lips." is that so? Well then I suppose you will just have to teach me then won't you?" She laughed and shook her head, still in disbelief that Noel could actually bake. Infact she didn't even know guys were inclined to such things. Her dad never baked.

" I didn't even know that guys baked." she said as she watched him search through the pantry. The good thing about Hogwarts kitchen was that you could find everything there! She stuck her tongue out at him as he looked over his shoulder at her, then looked on as he crossed his arms and leaned against the pantry.

" Catflami..what?!" she would probably bite her tongue if she tried to pronounce the word so she just nodded, chuckling to herself at the thought of baking something she could not pronounce. That just had to be the first.

She moved over to where he was by the pantry and used her hip to playfully bounce him away, so she could get the flour and eggs. Those were used in baking anything right? Noel would just have to tell her what else he needed.

"I suppoze I have ze patienze to do zo." he smirked with an added wink to show that he of course, was joking. He'd teach her if she wanted to, though it would be only on a few things. Enough to pass off as a good baker. Otherwise, he was caught red handed! Probably literally too. It wouldn't be the first time he burned himself while trying.

"You didn't?" That was a surprise. Smiling, he turned his attention back to the pantry, their dish having been decided apparently. And, he was rather excited they'd be making it! "Just awhile back I met a young boy who was trying to carry a pumpkin back to ze castle. Apparently he wanted it to help cook somezing wiz a friend." Picking up a small container of salt, a low chuckle escaped him once more as he he felt something bump him.

Oh good, she got eggs and flour. "Kla-Foo-Tee." he replied, sounding out the word as he took a step back so she could get out of the pantry. "It's a umm...zis cake, pudding, zing..." It was hard to describe. "Anyway, can you get ze sugar? Both regular and brown?"

He had to go on the hunt for cherries!

Rhea playfully glared at Noel after he finished talking and winked at her then muttered "ha ha ha" sarcastically as she continued to search for what she wanted. She shook her head then chuckled. She was enjoying this conversation and mood so much more than earlier. This fact recognized, a smile stayed on her lips.

Rhea laughed as Noel told her about the boy and the pumpkin. She was sure that if she had seen that she would have erupted into a fit of giggles. The image was just silly." you did?" she asked incredulously. She wished she had seen pumpkin boy." what do you suppose they were going to make?" she threw a quick glance in his direction.

Rhea's mouth formed a small O as he pronounced the word for her. So not only was he teaching her to bake, (supposedly) but she was also getting a lesson in french. Hehe." ok I gotcha" she said nodding her head. Then she chuckled." Nono, the brown sugar is the regular one, the white one is granulated."

A mischievous look then flashed across her face as she eyed the flour in her hand. She weighed the situation in her head before making a move, her brown eyes flashing between Noel and the flour. If she floured him, there was a chance he would flour her back and her hair would totally get it, but it was so worth it, so...

" Noel...something is...missing." she snickered. " shouldn't you have something white on your head considering you're a chef and all?" She didn't wait for him to reply before sprinkling some flour on his lovely foofey hair, then giggling like mad.

As Daisy walked down to the kitchen she was looking down at her feet. She had just finished the french manicure on her toes and wasn't about to mess them up. Unfortunately she didn't watch where she was walking for people and accidentally bumped into someone. Not just someone though, one of the meanest Slytherins in the school. She looked up flipped her hair and said coldly, "Excuse me." She wasn't going to be intimidated by anyone no matter how mean. She was Daisy and she was fabulous. She just kept walking to find chocolate. No apology to the girl.

Placing the container of salt onto the counter top, Noel began to look for cherries nearby, thinking about that day in the pumpkin patch. It was awhile back now that he remembered. "I don’t know. I zink pumpkin pie or somezing." It would make sense. Pumpkins… pumpkin pie. Definitely.

What? Looking back over to Rhea, he frowned for a moment before making his way over. He could never get these cooking or food terms right. He just knew what was good, and what they looked like. Leaning around Rhea, his blue eyes searched out the sugar, finding that they were the ones he wanted. Well, now he knew what the sugar was called. Granulated. "Zose are ze right ones…"

Hmm? Glancing down to her, his eyebrows rose in surprise and confusion. He was missing something? "What-" Ohhhhh. Oh hooo, he saw what she meant. Closing his eyes, his nose scrunched up as a little amount of flour ended up on his forehead and ultimately his nose as well. Hmmm. "Zank you." Bahaha!

Peaking open an eye, a goofy grin spread across his face as he himself picked up some flower. Before she could take it away that is. "And you being ze student, you need zome az well." As one hand picked up the granulated sugar, his other hand sprinkled flour on top of Rhea’s hair, a smug expression replacing his grin.

Carter shuddered slightly. "That sounds... awful..." he said thinking about how warm and bright the Gryffindor common room was. "Yeah... those dungeons are a bit... unsettling... I'm glad I'm usually so far away from them." he said. Nowadays he was only down there for potions class.

"Hey daisy" Dark Chocolate or Milk Chocolate.I'll give get you some thanks suppy she smiled.

Salander observed the other students baking up a storm, then casually walked over pretending to be real interested, slyly taking a large bowl of batter and brought it back to his work area with Fletcher. The Slytherin lad divided the batter into two. On one of he poured in herb extract mixed with mustard & salt water. He divided the batter again, flavoring some with the chocolate sweets he had accumulated, and gave Fletcher the strange cucumber- milk curdle mixture to flavor the rest.

As the other lad poured in the first batter into the baking molds, Salander worked on the second batter he set aside earlier. Gingerly he took out the other flask and removed the covering parchment. He carefully scooped out the thick substance and mixed with the butterbeer from the party, liquefying it then pouring it into the batter. He added the peppermint leaves and some ginger shavings, then had Fletcher repeat the process of pouring them onto molds.

When the baking was done they added the final touches-- chopping up some more herbs and glazed them onto the respective cupcakes

Distributing the very special desserts onto a couple of trays, Salander nodded at Fletcher to lead the way "Here we go, lets rock and roll."

the timer went off the bar where all ready to be iced.joey iced the part of the bars would like to add any thing to the icing for show she smiled.well the bars are iced she cut them into rectangles.she tryed them man this is good.

Contemplating whether or not to actually put a sweet in or around the pastilles, not knowing if that would actually effect the potion like substance itself or not, the Slytherin was shocked when someone seemed to have not noticed where they were going. Umm…really, Evelyn was beginning to be a bit loose on the whole 'stay out of my personal space' thing quite recently, but this was a full on hit in the shoulder.

Not to mention the girl’s attitude. "You can be excused." She muttered just as coldly, her eyes narrowing and perhaps sticking her foot out in the way just a bit. Heh..no one bumps into her without a small consequence. She was actually being nice about it this time too.

Court giggled a little. N'aww, That was cute. "To be fair it is underground so it will be cold but you're lucky, you don't have to sleep down there every night" she replied. Still, it was better than spending the night in the actually dungeon itself.

Carter smiled. "Yeah. Climbing up all those steps and night seem worth it compared to that." he said with a little laugh. He then finished up his pie. "Well I should get going..." he said. "It was nice meeting you Courtney. You're going to that ball thing, right? Maybe I'll see you there?"

Rhea giggled. She could imagine how weird Noel must have found the kid. She had been attending Hog warts for seven years and still couldn't always get the weird things that Hogwartians got up to. Plus a kid with a pumpkin on his head is very weird, no matter where in the world you came from. It was bound to attract stares.

Rhea held up both types of sugar for Noel to see as he bent around her to look. Awesome she actually got the right one. She probably wasn't as bad as she thought she was, but usually one was their own worse critic. She also pulled bowls towards her because she was sure that they would be needing those too. Plus she needed one to hold her flour ammunition.

Rhea couldn't stop the giggles that escaped her lips as Noel looked at her with confused blow eyes. Boy was he in for a surprise. She laughed as she looked at his face and hair all white with powder after she had flicked him with some. Once again she burst into an uncontrollable fit of laughter, so much so that she could barely reply a "you're welcome Nono" after he said thanks.

No sooner than the thought that she should run crossed her mind, Noel sprinkled her with flour. She knew that she must now look as silly as he did, but who cared? She was soooo going to get him back. Grabbing the pack of flour from him, she dipped up a handful and threw it at him. She laughed herself close to tears." you have opened a can of worms Laurent." she said hiding behind a cupboard.
