Tears flowed for a totally different reason now. Gah. Finn sighed, resting his forehead on her shoulder. He hardly cared about what family she was part of. He liked her, for exactly who she was. "I don't care if you're a Kennedy or a Denver Lex. I like you for who you are. Not for whatever last name you have." Because he had all intentions of changing her name to Carmicheal some time in the future.
He smiled at what she said, pulling her in for another hug. "I really do have such an amazing family." Especially if she could still come out with that bit of advice after all she had told him. He knew that his problems were notihng compared to hers, and he was going to try his hardest to make sure that she never got hurt again. "I want to come with you Lex. I want to make sure that they don't try to hurt you." He sighed, looking up at her. "I don't care if they are nasty to me Lex....all I care about is you." It was all true.

She let him take her hands in his and winced slightly since they were banged up and bleeding a bit. She sighed and said, " I don't want to go anywhere. That is just what I do... I get upset or something I don't like happens and I run away. *I* am sorry. I am just so new at this. I will try harder, Finlay, I promise." She couldn't stand it anymore. She closed the distance between them and pulled him into a hug being sure not to put her hands on him so as not to drip blood on him with her unwrapped hand and sighed. " I meant what I said.
