"Showing us? More like informing us Mia" Finn smirked at Mia, as he found the hole in the tent. If she was really showing them, she would've been doing it all by herself, and also Finn really did think he'd be able to put this thing up by magic if he could, but he wanted to learn how to do it really.

"Fine Miaa...." Finn sighed, as he reached up to the top of the pole, slipping the rope onto it. "And Mia...I am not a dunderhead. That is so mean of you to say." Finn pouted at her. If she kept insulting her, he was not going to be letting her snog him anymore. Well he would do that as a threat anyway....

So they were building tents. Rhea had helped her dad to set one up once but she was around ten and he did pretty much use magic, so she wasn't exactly sure of what she was doing. The seventeen year old however rolled her sleeves up and put her nice shiny black school shoes aside and grabbed some tent material and began set up, could they use magic? She as sure they could, the professor hadn't said set up your tent muggle style after all. And so she got to work with her tent building.

Most people had gotten theirs up already but Rhea was finally getting the hang of this tent building thing and she wanted to have hers look more like a little cabin than a tent tent per say. Of course she had to use a bit more sixth year magic, which involved a lot of brain wracking since it wasn't like she had her charms text book on her or anything, but she finally got the spells and her tent was coming along fine. She even transfigured little sticks into chairs to make a sort of veranda for her tent house thing. When she had finally finished with that she placed some rune markings on her door way, well at least the few runes she remembered from last term.

Cassandra laughed as she watched Kurumi play with the pink flowers that hung over the tree. "No, its not to much." Cass answered. "Actually the effect is quite nice." Then she said "I'll be right back, I'll just need to change the furniture in the tent." Then she entered her pink tent and disappeared within its folds. After a few minutes, Cass returned from her inside her tent with a bunch of shrunken furniture that she had pulled out of the tent like the standard bunk beds which she replaced with one big bed and a few other stuff that don't go with her girly theme.

Aww he was looking at her with those eyes. Mia couldn't stand it when people looked at her like that. It made her go all mushy on the inside. "You're doing great Matty. I'll do the next lot of ropes okay?"



"You are so sweet." Mia gave him another smile and looked at Finn as if to say 'see they do as they're told.' She watched the young boy for a moment and bit on her lip so as to not laugh. "It might work better if you turn the pole around. You've got it upside down."

Mia poked her tongue out at Finn. Obviously he didn't like having girls telling him what to do. Actually he probably didn't like anyone telling him what to do. Well he had said he wanted to learn to do it the muggle way.

She gave him an apologetic look and raised herself up on tip toe. "I'm sorry Finlay. Whatever can I do to make it up to you?"

Three guesses as to what his answer will be?

Mia only needed one guess.

Rowan was having a difficult time with her tent. Growing up in the home, she had never been camping and had no idea how to pitch a tent. Oh well, she thought, I'm not going to let it bother me. She set to work with the painting. This is something she was good at. She turned to look at the lake and quickly painted what she could see of it, with the moon reflecting in its water and a sky full of stars. This is fun! "Excuse me," Rowan said to the professor, feeling a little embarrassed at her ineptitude. "I have never been camping before and I have no idea how to pitch a tent. I'm done painting it but do not know where to go from here. Could you please help me?" She smiled shyly at the instructor, hoping that she didn't think her a total idiot.

Brant had heard a girl ask for help, his ears perked up a bit. Then Brant looked at the professor. "I wouldn't mind helping Professor for I haven't put a tent up yet and it looks like fun." he said.

Alex looked at her now finally pitched tent before trying to decide what to do. She wanted something no one else would think of and that didn't hve anything to do with her house. She decided to finally just paint it a nice green color and add some silver on the edges. Now.. what were they supposed to do afterwards? Alex had forgotten simply because she was trying to figure up how to pitch the tent, she finally got that though after a few failed attempts.

*Matty's face turned to a bright smile as he finished up and handed the rest to her. He now knew how to mess with Mia. This would be fun.*
"Alright here you go."

"Thank you so much. I'm totally lost here. My name is Rowan by the way."

Finished with the actual set up of the tent, Simon stood back up and surveyed his work before looking at the creativness of some of his classmates.Hmm we were told to be creative, he thought to himself as he returned to starting point to retrieve some other supplies in which to decorate.

Returning to his campsite, he rested his brush hand against his chin debating what to do and finally having an idea. They were technically in runes class, would it not to good to actually use the object of their learning. He retrieved his textbook and flipped through to the descriptions. Finding the Ihwaz rune, Simon proceeded to it in all four corners of the tent before adding the Dagaz on the side for good measure.

Well it was a protection rune after all, he mused to himself as he looked at his work with a tilt of his head. And maybe an insight rune will help us figure out what we're supposed to learn in the lesson.

Dianna had a little trouble seeing in the dark and so was only guided by her wand's light. She was still looking for a group to be with but decided to work while doing so. She didn't want to be homeless or in other words tentless as the sky grew darker.

She got to finally build her tent and add some cushions in it. Ah.. home sweet home...

Arabella-Marie was trying to figure out how to put her tent up and sighed and said "Could i get some help here" Arabella-Marie was not good at doing muggle things

"No problem, name is Brant DeVaice. so where did you want to start." he said to Rowan.

Dianna was done with her tent when she noticed a first year having difficulty.
"Can I help?" she asked.

Arabella-Marie looked up at the second year and said "Yeah sure you can help"

OOH. So, they were building TENTS... But why? Were they going to be doing all the ruin-y stuff IN the tents?

It didn't really seem to make much sense. And Jimbo wasn't in this class to build the tent with. *sobsob*

Iris wandered around the tents that were already being built, hoping to see someone who might need a hand... Like the First Years. She didn't want them to STRUGGLE building an awesometastic tent. And anyway, Iris remembered the colour-changing charms from last term. And she was going to use it... Eventually.

Cass was bored. No she was somewhere between bored and sleepy. She had finished building her tent ages ago and even placed flowers in front of it using the Orchideous charm. She looked around the site, wondering if somebody needed help.

And so she helped. Soon after a few minutes they were able to build the tent.
"I'm Dianna by the way." she smiled as she stretched out her hand.

Arabella-Marie smiled and shook Dianna's hand and said "Hi Dianna i am Arabella-Marie"

FINALLY! Someone she could participate with. Louisa ran towards Enya smiling, "Cool, eh? I mean the camping thing. I didn't know that Runes would be so much fun." She said looking at the other students mingling together. " And why on earth did you write this?" Louisa shot at her, "Let's make a tent not a trouble!"

"Nice to meet you, Brant," Rowan said. "Well, you see, that is the problem. I have no idea where to start," she blushed. "I've never done this sort of thing. I am having fun though. Where do you usually start with tents?"

"You have quite a long name there Arabella.." Dianna smiled. "Hey were just right nest to each other!" she exclaimed. Cool, it's like moving to a new house and realizing that you have new neighbors too! "Professor said to make furniture, but I'm actually quite happy with simple cushions.." Dianna said as she examined her work.

urgh.. Amy struggled with the tent, trying to put it up "urgh this is hard" she thought

Arabella-Marie nodded and said "Yeah it is cool and i would love to make some furniture as it will be more comfier for me"

As Iris saw a first year who seemed to be on her own, she rushed over. "Hullo there! Do you want a hand with that?" Iris smiled at her kindly, with twinkly eyes and a shiny prefect badge and such.
