Iris looked at the bird in her hand, and frowned at it as he wouldn't drink from the bottle cap. Even as a bird, Jimbo was still as awkward as ever. Woah, wait... Use magic? To make him DRINK the potion?

The girl looked at the Healer as she took out her wand, and wondered what it was that she was going to do. She made a little gasp as Bidry!Jimbo froze in her hand... "Oh... Okay. So...Yeah. Right." She muttered to herself, taking in the Healers orders.

Slowly, she picked up the bottle cap and poured it carefully down Jimbo's beak.

Iris then stood up when she'd done that, and moved over to the bed. She set Jimbo down on it, like Healer Moretti did, and then stepped back a little, her eyes completely focused on Jimbo. She'd forgotten that Leilani was even in the room with them.

It was certainly easier to work when little bird!boy wasn't twitching about and resisting her help. Lily stood by the bed, and first, she fixed the "wing". Arm. Wing. Well, both.

When she was satisfied, she twirled her wand, taking the still charm off, and muttering a spell to transfigure him back to a boy. She waited, and watched carefully as he changed.

Frozen! He was frozen! They were forcing him to drink the gross liquid! who knows what that could do to him? What if it would hurt him? This was totally unfair, he didn't even have a choice! He wanted to throw a fit, but he couldn't because of that darned spell. Evil, evil, giants. That's what they all are. Evil giants. And he was NOT happy with them. At all.

Even the golden haired giant was evil. She betrayed him. she teamed up with the other giants to make him drink that horrid liquid. Mean, mean, meanie!

As he was moved, he noticed that he wasn't in pain anymore. Especially after his broken wing was fixed. Okay, so maybe they weren't trying to hurt him. Maybe they had just been trying to help him after all.

Or maybe it was all a conspiracy. They would gain his trust and THEN hurt him.

When the teeny bird was unfrozen, it started to jump around like a bird with WAYYY too much energy. The transition from bird to boy was slow, but quick. His beak shrunk, his feathers went away and the feathers on his head turned into blond hair. His bird legs fattened into boy legs and his wings contracted into skinny little boy arms. Unbroken, skinny boy arms.

When it was over, there sat a fifteen year old Slytherin boy with a few stray feathers on his head. One of which hung over his eyes. The first thing he did was blow that feather out of his face.

Leilani watched, as they froze Mr. Birdy and forced the potion down his throat.

Heh, served him right. Stupid little boy was so stubborn, sheesh. And then as his hair grew in and his feathers disappeared her eyes widened. Good grief, that was creepy. Uuugh, yeah transfiguration- not her favorite.

Lani had half a mind to go over there and hit him. Then again he had flown into a wall. So instead she said, "You are the absolute stupidest person I know." And then adding, "Oh and if you try to poke my eye out again I will seriously make sure Lafay eats you."

See, little miss 5'1" wasn't scary but Lafay was. Heh.

Iris sat down on the edge of the bed after she'd set Jimbo down on it, and watched quietly as Healer Moretti got to work on the bird. At least it looked like Jimbo wasn't going to be stuck like that forever.

As Birdy!Jimbo got 'fixed' and unfrozen, Iris rolled her eyes at him... Geez, Why was he so ENERGETIC?! Silly bird...

Watching the change from bird to boy was waaay weirder than watching him shrink into a bird... 'Specially when the feathers started to grow backwards into his skin.

When Jimbo was back, and the bird completely gone, Iris grinned to herself, still sat on the edge of the bed he was sat on. She watched as he blew one of the stray feathers out of his face, and then stretched out her hand to catch it. Teehee.

She was going to make him keep it. As a way of remembering NOT to do stupid things like this ever again!

"You're an idiot, Jimbo... You know that, right?"

Iris looked up, momentarily suprised to see Leilani stood there. She grinned as Leilani spoke up. "I second that promise." She muttered.

Ahh... Leilani really was an interesting figure. She was TEEENY, but she could be pretty scary, when she wants to be. Unlike Birdy!Jimbo... he wasn't very scary when he was small.


After looking over to Leilani with an amused smirk on her face, she turned back to Jimbo. "But... Even with that being said..." Iris started, and scooted closer to the Blond boy, "...I'm glad you're human again..." She smiled at Jimbo, and then wrapped her arms around his neck, pulling him into a hug. She didn't worry much about that scene from on the train happening again... because they were in the hospital wing. "...You're far easier to keep an eye on, this way." Pfft. Maybe Iris and Leilani should ask which ever teacher was responsible for the birdiness to make THEM birds, just so Jimbo could see how hard it was for them to catch HIM!

EESH. Tis a very uncomfortable situation here. "You're going to make Lafay EAT me?" he asked, a tad bit worried. It seemed he'd really done some damage to these girls after all. He could see the cuts all over Lani and it made him cringe. God knows if HE'D been attacked by a bird...

OMG, don't think about it. He couldn't. He'd freak out again. He was trying to block it all out. The feel of the wind through his FEATHERS, his claw feet, his long BEAK. It was all too much, and he didn't want to remember it even a tiny bit. Maybe he could use that 'Obliviate' spell on himself. But maybe that was a bit stupid, and god knows he'd already done enough stupid things. Maybe he'd get someone else to do it for him.

It was amazing how calm he was at the moment. Although he was kinda glassy-eyed. The idea of him as a bird was incredibly terrifying and whenever a certain moment from the transfiguration popped into his mind, he twitched. "I am NOT stupid, by the way. I am a risk-taker. A daredevil, if you will. But not stupid." He was not oblivious to the fact that Iris was sitting beside him, it made him a tad more twitchy. And it didn't help when she scooted closer. He tried not to look at her while she spoke, but managed to let slip a couple glances.

And then she threw herself on him. He sucked in a breath. Darn. That was mean. Why was she doing that? Did she WANT a repeat of the train incident? He tried not to get too comfortable which meant he was mostly tense the whole time she was hugging him. He barely even wanted to let himself hug her back. He gave her a small uncomfortable pat on the back.

"Maybe we should go..." he suggested quietly. Pulling himself away from Iris, he stepped down off the bed. "Thank you, Healer Moretti...for fixing me."

Leilani nodded.

"Yes, I will make her EAT YOU." She pointed to her somewhat swollen eye and the bloody scratches on her hands. Okay, it wasn't that bad but he'd still hurt her like crap. Pfft, stupid.

*eyeroll* "No Jimbo, I'm pretty sure you're just dumb." Yes, deffinitely dumb. Though by then she'd forgotten that she'd been planning on running into the line to see how far back it would throw her. *cough* Y'know, for like, scientific purposes. Yeah.

She smiled a little when Iris said she was glad he was human again. Though that hurt her eye so it was more of an awkward wince. "Yeah, I deffinitely like normal Jimbo better as compared to birdy Jimbo."

Aaaaand, then Iris hugged him.

PDA!!! Lani coughed slightly, and winced again at the pain it caused her face. "Uhmmm..." Yeah. Awkward. *cough* So were they like... No, nevermind, she wasn't going to think about it.

Iris watched between Leilani and Jimbo as the short girl said that she'd MAKE Lafay eat Jimbo. Geez... That's just a wee bit harsh. And frightening. Leilani really was quite the scary girl, when she wanted to be.

"You act stupid enough, though." Iris mumbled, in response to Jimbo's mini 'I'm not stupid' rant. She watched him carefully out of the corner of her eye... He still wasn't himself, really. *Siiiigh.* Iris twiddled with her thumbs, and looked up to the Healer, who was being really quiet... Maybe she was looking for something to give to Jimbo...

Iris grinned when Leilani agreed with her. Seee!!! Birdy!Jimbo wasn't cooool.

Ouch. That hurt.

The prefect could FEEL Jimbo's tenseness just radiating off of him.

It was like he didn't want to hug her.

When he just patted her back, and then muttered something, Iris frowned sadly, her face still hidden to everyone in the room. Yeah… He really didn't want to hug her. Just what she needed. "Maybe we should wait for Healer Moretti to say you can go." She replied, quietly.

She just looked at Jimbo, when he pulled himself away from her. Iris folded her arms, as if she was cold. As Leilani said something, Iris turned to her. She half-smiled at the girl and sighed quietly.

Iris wanted HER Jimbo back...

The Jimbo she could be weird with.

Lily shrugged, "As far as I am concerned, the bird!boy is a real boy again, so you can go."

Oh ... Okay ...

Iris had honestly expected some kind of check up... to make sure that Jimbo wasn't going to start burping up feathers or something.

But nope.

Nothing.

At least they COULD go, though... Because Iris didn't really want to stick around any longer... it was beginning to feel awkward. Well, TOO awkward.

Nodding at the Healer, and giving her a small smile, Iris stood up off the bed, too. She walked over to where Jimbo and Leilani were stood.

"Um... Well, thanks Moretti..." Then she rushed out of the Hospital Wing. She particularly LOVED how Jimbo expressed his most honest 'Thank you' to her and Leilani, for chasing him halfway round Hogwarts, so they could get him changed back to a human. Not.

Maybe they SHOULD have just left him to be eaten by someone's cat.

Hmpf.
