They totally are, Amy murmered, night Sammy she said sleepily before turning over and falling asleep, strange first year she thought before slipping into the land of nod, where bananas rode lamas

Soon enough Sammy followed Amy's example and fell asleep. Cheek on book, wand still alight, head at the foot of the bed, belly down and feet on pillow ... what a normal way to sleep. She drifted into a slightly different world, one that had Hobbits, Legolas, Pasta, Pink flying elephants and Baudelaire orphans.

Amy rolled over, too far WOOAH! she squealed as she hit the ground, she pulled her eyemask off and rubbed her bonce that was already sore from the previous night, she looked up at Sammy, morning she called groggily, sitting back up on her bed and picking up her kitty, begining to stroke her fur slowly

"noooooooooooooooooooo" Sammy groaned from under her covers, peeling her face of the page. "it can't be morning" she moaned, twisting herself around so her head was on the pillow ... instead of her feet. "Moggy?" she called looking for the kitty "oh there you are" she said picking the kitty off the floor "it's not allowed to be morning" she said grumpily

Well it is, sadly Amy murmered, still stroking her cat, get changed then breakfast? she asked, picking up her kitty bowl and kitty food and pouring some into the printed purple bowl, she put down the bowl and let her kitty go and explore the food, she stood up off her bed and walked over to her trunk, pulling out her clothes and walking over to the wash basin

Sammy frowned and kicked the covers off. Before digging in her bag for the two silver bowls and the kitty food. Filled one bowl with the kitty food then, walking over to the bathrooms, filling the other bowl with water then taking it carefully back to Moggy. Then digging out her own clothes(without the bag) and waiting for Amy to be done

Amy finished at the wash basin then went behind the screen, pulling on her clothes and zipping up her dress she reamerged from behind the screen, walked up to the mirror and untied her hair from the plaits she had put them in, making her hair fall in waves, she pulled on her brouges and pulled on a cardigan, it was the weekend so no school lessons yet but they needed to pick up their timetables, she turned to Sammy, ready for brekkie? she asked, picking up her shoulder bag

Sammy dashed behind the screen, changed quickly and shook her hair a bit. "almost" she said running over to her bed and tying up her shoes then standing back up "now I am" she said grinning. "nice " she commented on Amy's outfit ... even though Sammy personally wouldn't wear something like that, but it was pretty.

I'm in a girly mood she grinned, taking in Sammy's laid back fashion but it was sunny outside, and she didn't want to bake, lets go she said walking out of the dorms

"I like it" Sammy said, smiling. "BYE MOGGY!" she called at her kitty giving her an air kiss and then following Amy out the door. WEEEH TODAY WAS GOING TO BE FUN! because she already had a song stuck in her head.

What's that noise?

Melanie had been about of head off to her dormitory, but as she passed the fourth year dorm she heard a strange noise. So, she did what any curious 'puff would do and poked her head in the dormitory, only just enough to see what was going on.

She smiled slightly when she saw the lone girl hopping up and down on her bed. At least someone knew how to have a good time. Melanie slipped into the room, still standing by the doorway once she entered. "That looked like fun." she commented casually, just for something to say, as the girl took a seat on her bed. She didn't look too familiar. Maybe she was new to Hogwarts?

...Or maybe Melanie had just never noticed her until now? She wasn't the most observant person.

Cora woke up and stretched. She had forgotten to write to her parents when she had gotten here. She got up and dug through her trunk until she found a roll of parchment, a quill, and some ink. She plopped back down on her bed and started writing:

I have safely arrived at school. The train ride was boring and I haven't met any new friends yet. The feast was just as good as always. This year the school is hosting the Triwizard tournament. Don't worry. The headmaster says we have to 17 to compete. Hope all is well as home. Once I have my first classes, I will write again.

Cora folded the paper and put it in an envelope. She wrote her parents name on the cover of the envelope and tossed it on her bed while she got dressed. Cora then headed for the owlery to send her letter.

I, Brielle, am lost.
I looked around at all the gold and black and was utterly...annoyed. I didn't fit in. It was my first year and i had no friends which was such a change from the muggle world where i knew everyone in my class.
I ran my right hand through my long brown hair. I brushed it out of my face as i climbed the stairs to the girls' dormitories. I wished my hair would curl like it did at home, but my mom in her excitement straightened my hair with a flat iron which i wasn't even permitted to bring. The normal waviness that i always had was gone. It was annoying because that was one of the few aspects of me that i thought was kinda beautiful.
I had much too big a nose which made my eyes seem puny even hidden behind glasses, my lips were cracked and i wasn't tall enough to stand out. So only the golden stripes on my tie stood out in a crowd of people i normally would have been in the center of.
A couple of giggling girls skipped down the steps and one of them bumped into my left shoulder. I instinctively grabbed my arm and i bit down on my lip to suppress a yelp. I had broken my arm a week before i came to school, and i didn't stand out enough for anyone to notice the sling and care.
I tried to remember the Brielle in the muggle world; a popular geek with a flair for acting. Only if this was an audition i would have a script, and here i didn't know what to say.

Lacey opened the door of her assigned room, and saw an unfamilar face. She looked at the girl on the bed and cleared her throat, hoping to get her attention. "Uhm, hey," She started, "I... I think I'm your roommate?"

"Oh. Erm. Hi. My name is Eva. Eva Granger. Nice to meet you.", Eva said shyly. She did not expect her to talk to her. She seems shy too. "Are you a first year student too?"

well, weren't all first years in the same dorm?
"Uh, yes," Lacey replied, walking into the room, "I'm Lacey, nice to meet you too."
Lacey smiled her widest smile, hoping to get another friend.
"I guess you're taking that bed then," She went, "I'll take that."
After saying that, she put her bag and a box full of her things on the bed and sat on it.
"Hogwarts a great place, isn't it?" She asked, hoping to start a converstaion instead of having awkward silence between the both of them.

Eva was a little tired. She yawned and luckily, covered her mouth. She did not want to give her room mate a bad impression. "Of course, i mean i have only been here for a day and this place really does seem amazing.", Eva smiled. "Well, are you nervous? Or maybe excited?"

Yawning was contagious. Watching Eva yawn made Lacey felt like yawning too. However, she controlled herself... what if Eva thought she was copying her? oh well. Lacey smiled.
"Yeah, I'm nervous, excited too," Lacey replied, "And I'm hoping I'll make more friends. hmm, hopefully our roommates would be nice people."
Lacey looked at the other two empty beds, "Maybe no one would come in though, which means, we'll have more space. but I'm kidding, obviously I would want to know other people."

"Me too. I only have 3 friends. But the students in Hufflepuff all seem friendly.", Eva smiled at her. She thought Lacey had quite a good sense of humour. "Erm. Shall we unpack our stuff first? Its been a long day for us i guess."

"Oh, sure!" Lacey stood up and opened her box, "I can't wait to sleep."
She smiled at Eva.

"Same. And it has been a long day today. I wonder what will we be doing tomorrow.", Eva unzipping her suitcase and realised she had many things. Cloths, books, and all sorts of stuff she needed. But Lacey seemed to have more. "Do you need my help?"

'Oh, uh," Lacey went, "No,it's okay. I can do it myself."
Lacey personally didn't like people touching her stuff, not that she was selfish or something, but it was just a habit... and she felt bad. but she couldn't help herself disallowing people from touching her stuff. it's like, she wants to keep her things where she put them and not where others put.
"Thanks for the offer though," Lacey added and unpacked her stuff.

Panting just a little from her sudden energy burst, Mia laid back on the bed staring up at the overhead canopy with a huge smile on her face. She hadn't been sure what to expect coming to Hogwarts but so far the place had well and truly exceeded her expectations. From the truly amazing feast, to the huge vastness of the place and now the very comfortable living quarters.

She was certainly a long way from Crystal Waters and as much as she loved her family, Mia didn't know how she was going to go back to the back water little town after spending the next ten months here.

And just as she was about to roll off the bed and start unpacking, a voice issued from the doorway and Mia turned towards the voice. A tentative smile broke across her face and she nodded, "Yeah it was." Mia hoped that she wasn't about to get into trouble for her acrobatics.

"I'm not in trouble am I?" Because that's the last thing Mia wanted on her very first night at her new home.

"Oh. Erm... Okay", and Eva went back to unpacking her stuff. She hoped that there was space for all of them. She even brought her cuddly soft toys here. She cant help but brought them all here. She needed them to keep her accompany.

She finally unpacked all her stuff and was kinda shocked to see that she really really had alot alot of stuff. She squeezed some of them under her bed. She wondered if Lacey was done... She thought that this girl was somehow... Well, different.

She smiled mischievously when the girl responded, wondering if anyone was in her dorm at the moment. She kinda wanted to jump on her bed now, but she wasn't sure if she'd be ridiculed by the girls in her dorm for it or not.

Melanie almost laughed aloud at her question. "No." she replied, a hint of amusement in her tone. The fact that someone thought she was an authority figure or... someone that might give a person away to an authority figure merely for hoping up and down on a bed tickled her, for some reason. "I don't see why you would be." She shrugged. Jumping on a bed wasn't a crime, as far as she knew.

"What's your name?" she asked the stranger curiously, looking at her with a thoughtful expression on her face. "I don't think I've seen you around before." Melanie commented offhandedly, still wondering if she was a new student or not.
