Herbology/Charms - Joint Lesson
 

Hearing Sage announce that everything seemed good to go, Lexi lowered her wand (she'd been practicing a charm) and stepped to his side. "Mmm, alright then," she softly said. "Oh, and...poke me in the side if I accidentally call you Sage in front of the children." She laughed lightheartedly then moved her attention to a tiny plant by her side.

...and that's how she remained while she waited for the students to join them.

Lexi was NOT impressed with having to tramp through the snow to get to the bloody greenhouses. Not cool. At all. Making a MEH face she loped in and took a deep breath. Smiling finally she said, "Good day Professor Dodson. Professor Carlton I brought you something." Digging in her bag she finally found the personalized Gryffindor scarf that she had had embroidered with Professor Carlton. She was NOT sucking up. She actually liked her Head of House. Holdng out the gift she moved out of the way so other students could file in.

Selena walked into the classroom with a smile on her face. Herbology was alright and what wasn't to like about Charms? Plus the two were going to be mixed together so that meant that it had to be more interesting than it was alone. "Hello Professor Dodson, Professor Carlton," Selena greeted, "how are you two?" she chirped in an obviously happy tone.

Selena was going to blame the sugar if she failed the two classes... Selena then took a seat in the somewhat middle-front of the classroom. Yup.

Ohhh, lordy. A joint lesson! Aiden liked the sound of that.

Especially considering that it was Herbology and Charms. It just seemed like a good mix. Plus, it'd kill two birds with one stone, eh? Yesmm.

Aiden adjusted the strap on his shoulder, making sure none of his papers were falling out from his bag unbeknownst to him, then walked on into the classroom. As he proceeded, he gave a nod in the direction of his professors. "Good afternoon, Professor Carlton," he smiled. Carlton was a babe. :whistle: "Afternoon, Professor Dodson." The seventh year dropped his bookbag to the floor and settled into a work station.

Evelyn, well Evelyn didn’t know that the lesson today was going to be down in the Greenhouses. Which was why she had the huge scowl on her face as she trudged her way alllll the way down to the grounds.

It wasn’t until halfway to the Greenhouses from the Charms classroom that she realized, Dodson would be teaching as well. Half herbology, half charms class, obviously the nervous twitchy professor would be there. And him being there with Carlton? The two very professors she had seen in that secret meeting in the greenhouses awhile back? Hmm yes, something was going on here…

She knew. KNEW their secret. And well, so did everyone else apparently, because of that magical paper thing. Ohh Lafay isn’t gunna like this! Walking into the greenhouse, she stared at the Herbology professor with a shifty little smile before her eyes flickered over to the pink highlighted Charms Professor. Hmm, yes… Carlton wasn’t looking at Dodson because she didn’t want it to seem too obviously. Bahaha! "Good day, Professor Carlton. Professor Dodson."

Hehe.

Lexi 2...brought her a scarf?!

"Oh! ...Oh my Merlin!" Lexi exclaimed, a huge smile spreading across her face. She seriously had some of the greatest students in the world, as they seemed to always be bringing her cake, bubblegum, ferrets, and...now a scarf! "Miss Denver, it's gorgeous! Thank you so much!" She gave the girl a warm smile then unfolded the scarf, pausing for a few seconds to admire it.

She glanced up at the others who'd filed in while she was admiring her gift. "Hello, Miss Riddle, Mr. Chevalier, and Miss...Shepard," she greeted. Yes, Evelyn Shepard. She remembered from when the girl had corrected her during the last Charms lesson. "I'm doing great today, thanks. I hope you're well, too."

When she was done with the meeting and greeting, she turned toward Sage and wrapped the scarf around him, smiling as she did so. "Isn't it soft?" she asked him. She'd get it back from him after class.

Charms and Herbology..

Something shifty was going on and Destiny Shepard knew it, which was the reason she ran down to the Greenhouses. She had her Omnioculars hidden deep in her bag, but she didn't think she would need them this time. They would be in the classroom and she would definitely be spotted looking through them this time.

Stopping outside the Greenhouse, Destiny peeked her head inside the classroom before entering. Carlton and Dodson, hehe.

"Hello Professors!" she greeted and was about to walk over to a seat when she noticed something. Something even more shifty than the shiftiness that was already going on. Turning to face the Herbology Professor, she stood on her tiptoes to get a better look in his eyes. "Professor Dodson! You got your twitch fixed!"

:shifty: indeed.

Joint lessons were awesome! So obviously the badger was excited about this lesson. Especially when it was two classes that she loved. If only it had been warmer out. Then this would have been a excellent day for a joint lesson.

Skipping into the greenhouse, a little faster than normal to escape the cold, she entered the greenhouse with a grin. "Hey, professors!!" Kill two birds with one stone she did. They were standing together...playing with a scarf. Meh. She didn't pay them any mind as she took a seat close to the front and swung her legs, hand absently going to the brim of her yellow beanie.

Lexi 2 smiled brightly and said, "You are very welcome, Professor! Just my way of saying thanks for being such an awesome Head of House. Glad you like it." SHe kind of grimaced then as she turned toward Dodson. She hadn't thought to bring him anything. Oh well... Giving them both a little wave she made her way to a work station.

WHA? Did she really just wrap that scarf around his neck and call him SAGE. Hmmm... Very interesting. Maybe she could take a few notes for her Quill article while she was in class. :shifty:

Dylan's mouth dropped open. Why was he in the greenhouse? He was here for Charms. "Um hey Professor Carlton. Creepy...other guy," Dylan frowned. Who was the creepy other guy? Maybe the Herbology guy. He had no idea.

Charms with Herbology. Well, its not like I didnt try to do that last time heh...

Salander strolled down to the Greenhouses, seeing Dodson and Carlton already in the classroom through the glass windows "Greetins Professors!" the lad smiled as he made his way to a seat, not quite as close to the bubotubers as he did the last lesson. He did want to keep full control of his faculties this time.

Lexi looked up and saw her bro enter. Sighing a bit she waved her hand and said, "Come join me, Dyl." She might regret it later, but he was her brother and if during class was the only time she got to see him she had to TRY and be nice with him. Not that she was REALLY acting any differently toward him. Meh.

Dylan frowned again. First off he was in a class with some strange man. And now Lexi wanted him to sit with her. This day was all confused. Maybe it was a joke. Maybe he was dreaming. Yes that was it. It was all a dream. He would join Lexi though, because that was what his dream self always did. He always chose to be with Lexi. It would never happen in real life though.

He took the desk next to her. "Hey Lexi."


Dodson? What an odd name. Then again Denver was odd too. "Um ok. Professor Dodson. So what do you teach?" Reasonable question.

It seeemed to be the year of partner-ing teachers!

But Patroclus didn't mind, he rather enjoyed Herbology, and he loved charms so together it was bound to be an excellent lesson!

"Hello Professor Carlton," the boy smiled at his Head of House, "Professor Dodson," he grinned at the Herbology professor. Turning to survey the greenhouse, Patroclus now had the tought decision of picking where to sit.

Spotting the girl he had been avoiding for quite sometime, Patroclus decided to let the past lie and took a seat next to her and Destiny.

"Hiya" he muttered in a low voice.

Well Well Well.

Brielle couldn't help but laugh as she saw that Blondie was joining Plant Man as the instructors of the lesson, sashaying into the greenhouse the French girl smiled at both teachers, "'Ello Profezzor Carlton....Dodzon" Of course the second name was uttered in Brielle's seductive breathy voice.

Wink Wink!

Taking a seat, Brielle sat and starred at HER Plant Man......

Lexi quirked an eyebrow at Dylan and smiled as he took a seat beside her. "Hey bro," she said quietly. She shook her head at him and said, "Please don't get yourself in trouble, Dylan. He is the Herbology Professor."

Her two favorite subjects smooshed into one class. How much better could it get?

Alice walked into the greenhouses and instantly felt better being surrounded by all the plants. Oh how she loved the greenhouses...

"Hello Professor Carlton," Alice said with a smile to the Professor. "Hello Professor Dodson," Alice said with another smile towards the Herbology Professor.

Alice couldn't wait to see what they had planned for today.

Oh gaaah. One of those French girls was here.

Nuuuuuu!!!!!

Breanne or whoever she was, better not sit near her! Though the way she said Dodson's name, it just...gag. Wow. Ew. Alright, that was not something she'd want to hear, see, or witness ever again with any of her senses.

To the back of the class it is then! Even if she wouldn't be able to watch the two professors like a hawk as she normally planned while walking down here, at least she wouldn't have to be near Ms. French Girl who ruined her friendship with Patroclus and such. Yes, Evelyn was blaming HER!

Now if only magical creatures was included, then this would be the best class ever! Still Charms and Herbology were both very interesting...as long as there was no pus involved this time.

"Hello, professors," Kurumi said bowing as she entered.

Hearing a student address her by first name, Lexi whirled around, a shocked expression on her face. What in Merlin's name had gotten into this kid?!

...oh. Lexi two. That Lexi was the one he was referring to. Well then. Now that she was looking directly at him, she had to say something, didn't she? "Professor Dodson teaches Herbology," she politely answered.

Brielle.

Lambert.

Lexi should have known the girl would show up, after all, she suspected the French student was madly in love with Sage, and it was for that reason Lexi shot Sage a concerned look.

...and what was with that voice? Seriously? Had the girl not been a student, Lexi would...be sorta jealous right now. "Miss Lambert. I hope you're well," she said.

Destiny liked twitchy Dodson better, yes she did. It was like she didn't scare him anymore and that made her FROWN. Turning away from him, because she hardly received a reaction from him, she made her was over to where Patroclus sat in the back.

"Hey, Patroclus!" she said, plopping her bag down beside her and leaning over the pot. "Do you think my head would get stuck in this pot if I put it in there?"

She didn't have a big head, did she!?

Charms and Herbology.

Together?

This couldn't be good especially since Mia had already tried her charm work on a plant and had almost killed it. Or so Nikolai had led her to believe.

She gave the Professor's a wave as she walked passed. "Hello Professor Carlton and Professor Dodson."

Mia plonked herself down in a chair not really paying attention to who she was sitting beside. Hopefully there would be no partnering up in this class, she didn't want to look like a moron anymore than she normally did.

Dylan was watching that dude, Dodson, or whatever his name was. He was waiting for someone to start the class. Then he saw Carlton staring at him. Yes he was good looking. And his hair was perfect today. But that was no need to stare.

Er...um....er....he had to respond. They were both staring at each other. Sexual tension much. She wanted him. He knew it. Better than that Donovan woman. "So he likes it dirty then?" Wait what??? Dylan knew that his mind had slipped away from him. He should've thought before he spoke. Dammit.
