Gryffindor for the House Cup!
So how can you help Gryffindor win the house cup? House points are earned by attending class and completing homework assignments. If you've just noticed a class announcement or received a homework assignment, post in here and let everyone know! Remember to make sure your announcement hasn't already been posted.
Below you will find an updated list of all classes your character can attend and homework assignments he or she can complete. Remember to not post your character entering class after the lesson has already started. Draw a picture (in paint or another program; draw on paper and scan it/take a picture) showing what flying on a rag mop looked like. Finding a photo or pre-made graphic of someone on a mop doesn't count!
#2: We Should Fly on a What?!
Write a 1 paragraph essay (at least 8 sentences) explaining why wizarding kind should be allowed to fly on something else besides a broom. Possible items include a wheelbarrow, a rake, a hoe, a bathtub, an armchair, a Swiffer, a couch, a dumpster, or a trash can/rubbish bin. Be convincing in your essay as to why the item you selected would be an ideal mode of magical transportation.

Create your own Tarot Cards!
Create your own version of any FOUR Major Arcana cards. For example, if you wanted to create your own version of The Emperor card, you might put a picture of someone you think is a great leader (like your Divination professor, perhaps?) or a symbol you think stands for leadership, like a crown or a staff. Rename the card appropriately (The Emperor would now become The Crown card) and then explain briefly what number the card would be, and what it would stand for in your OWN opinion.
Example: Quote:
The Crown card, corresponding with the number 4, represents authority, determination, leadership skills, and natural born ruler.
The graphic doesn't need to be amazing, you can do it on Paint, draw it by hand and take a photo, whatever floats your boat!
This assignment is worth 15 points. To receive full credit, each card MUST have an accompaning picture, you must include the number of each card, and give 3-5 meanings the card could symbolize.
