Hugo sat down on his bed and pulled out a book. Nobody else was there. It was nice and quiet as he lay down, thinking about everything that was happening. He let out a big sigh.

Adam wandered into the Dormitory and went straight to the bottom of his bed where his trunk lay. Flinging it open with a flick of his wand, he leant into the bottom of his trunk and his head and shoulders went in further than was deemed possible by the size of the case. Grinning at the charm, he leant into the case until just his knees where resting on the floor and then he began to throw things out of the case haphazardly, not actually caring when the books, jeans, shoes and numerous other items where landing around the dormitory, or who they were hitting.

"Sorry!" he shouted so that he didn't seem horrible, his voice coming out a little muffledly from the depths of the trunk. Where was this sheet music? Not being able to fine what he was looking for, a frustrated Adam withdrew his head and dragged his guitar with him. Red faced, he sighed loudly before ducking his head and shoulders back into the case, and began his frantic search again, papers and quills flying over his head.

Hugo got up. Wow, this was making him lonely and no-life. He walked over to the common room.

Finn really did know now why he didn't do serious relationships, because they were so freaking annoying. All he'd been doing was trying to help and now he was in the wrong. Meh. He didn't care. Lexi could cry all the wanted, he wouldn't be there to wipe her tears away, not if she was being like this. With a frown he pushed the door to the dormitory open, and trudged over to his bed, sitting down on it. He should never have gotten into this silly relationship, it was taking over his life. He hadn't cared before, but now it was really getting to be a bit of a downer.

"Finn, hey." James was kind of... dirty. Not in a bad way, more in a been-mucking-about-in-the-greenhouses-way. His shirt was dirty at least and his jeans weren't too bad, though it was obvious he'd made some effort, washing his hands and face. He strode into the dorm and tugged his shirt off with very little preamble. He had clean ones somewhere right? House elves were epic like that. Jimmy rummaged through his drawers and came up with a clean polo-shirt.

... when had he got a pale blue polo shirt? Eyeing it for a moment, he shrugged and tugged it on.

"'sup."

Finn needed some more friends, because well he couldn't hang out in the common room for the whole day. Maybe he would go find some guys to hang out with. That would be good. He looked up as someone came in. Ahh. Jimmy. "Hey Jim." He nodded at his friend, noting how his shirt looked rather dirty. Mmm. What had jimmy been up to haha. Finn kicked his shoes off, and sat on the bed properly, stretching his legs out infront of him. Maybe he could talk to Jimmy about Lex, he knew more about girls that Finn did, seeing as Finn had only ever wanted to break hearts before.

"....I need some advice Jim." Yeah. He sounded like such a loser right now. "It's about Lex."

....

Whaaaat?

To his credit, James did NOT laugh.

.... Lexi?

"... what did you do?"

Trust Jimmy to think he had done something. Finn hadn't or at leat he didn't think he had. "I didn't do anything...." Well nothing wrong in his eyes. Lexi might have thought different. He'd only been trying to help, she probably would've been more annoyed if he hadn't. "She had a fight wit h her brother....I tried to comfort her and she went off on one." And had rather annoyed him.

Nothing? James found that hard to believe. He stretched out on his bed and looked up at the canopy.

"You wanna give me more detail than that...?" 'cause, there had to be more to it right? Right?

Finn must have said sommmmething.

Finn sighed, shaking his h ead. He didn't get girls. Not at all. They were complicated. "She wanted to go back to her dorm to cry." Because girls were silly like that. He had found it immensly stupid. "I didn't want her to go." Of course he wouldn't. He wasn't totally emotionless. "I think I got a bit angry..." He was sure he hadn't said anything to her.

"Wouldn't you rather she cried when she was on her own and then come back to see you when she felt better?" James raised one eyebrow. How would it be at all fun to hang out with someone who was completely down and all?

"I mean, maybe you should have just let her go, and told her to come find you when she wanted to do that talking thing that they always wanna do."

Rufus chattered and Jim sat up to let the marmoset out of his indoor cage. Cheerfully, the little guy started climbing around.

"Why did you get angry?"

"I don't like her crying...." And he didn't care if that made him seem like a pansy really. He cared about her, and he didn't want her to be upset. "She seems to be down all the time lately. It's horrible." Because he was feeling like he was constantly down or something. And that was not fun.

Why did he get angry? He really did not know. "No idea." Maybe it was part of his father in him. "I think it was 'cause I felt like she didn't want to talk to me." And that was not a good feeling.

"If it had been anyone else I probably would've walked away from everything." That's was Finn had used to do mere months ago.

"but sometimes..." Ugh he was going to say something lame and sensitive and what not. James glared at his friend, because if Finn repeated any of this, Jimmy would cheerfully throttle him, "Sometimes you just gotta cry. Let stuff out and all. Its not really fair to expect her to bottle it up, and unless you're in private, sometimes you just can't let it out."

Ahem.

Not that James S. Wilkes cried or anything like that.

"Well, why do you think she's... down? I mean, she always seems pretty happy and all whenever I see her."

Rufus climbed up Jimmy's leg and settled by his neck.

"Maybe she wasn't ready to talk to anyone. You can't talk if you haven't figured out what you need to say, or what you think about something. Thats what all that crying junk is for." He turned his head to eye his friend, the monkey's little tail half obscuring his vision.

"Well, so you care enough to mess junk up. Good for you." Hehe.

Finn grinned at Jimmy. The guy had always been one for romance, but Finn had never heard him say anything sensitive like this. Finn was glad that there was nobody else in here. They both had a reputation to uphold. He shrugged, not really knowing what to say. Sensitivity ddidn't come naturally to Finlay, not at all, he had to work hard to be sensitive around Lexi. "I just doesn't want her to think she can't talk to me." Because he was her boyfriend, he was supposed to listen to her in times like this.

Why he thought she was down. "I'm not a mind reader James." He grinned, because well that would've been something epic for him to be able to do. "She just seems really weird since we got back after Christmas. Everything seems to get to her."

He cared enough to make mess up junk. "That is like me isn't it?" He grinned. He tended to mess things up a lot.

"Well if you try to force her then she won't ever want to." Women were stubborn. "You gotta find the balance. Make her want to talk to you, but not make her feel like you need her to, or that you only wanna hear a certain thing." Where did James get so wise? He paid attention, that was all. Even when he played the fool and acted the joker.

"You just tell her she can talk to you whenever she is ready to, if she feels like she needs you, but that she doesn't have to if she doesn't want to." Simple. Pshhh.

"Well, come on. You must have some idea. There has to be something that you've noticed? Something she's said or something someone else has? Or something that happened at Christmas."

He made a face, not really wanting to think about Christmas himself. At Christmas? Neptune hadn't hated him.

Finn nodded. He got that. He didn't want to push her away, although that seemed like a good option now, because he wouldn't have to worry about her constantly. He didn't like worrying about anyone other than himself. "I think I'll just leave her alone for a bit....give her some space." She could come to him if she needed him.

He must have noticed? Well he had been a bit busy. You know with school? Finn gave Jimmy a look. They had talked about a certain thing that he happened over christmas. "She got sick....and went to get parents house. Her birth parents. I think it might have struck something in her." Because well. She had wanted to go back there properly.

johnny walk in the dorm "hello dudes"he was trying to be smooth and act cool."I"m Johnny Foster".he went to sofia and sat on his bed.

Hugo went straight through the common room, hiding his face for his ridiculous ball costume. His mask was already off. Stupid, because otherwise people wouldn't recognize him. He put on his normal shirt, jeans and hoodie. His green costume was on the floor.
Stupid balls, ain't gonna suck up his time. He put on his shoes and went back to the common room.

Excited to have finally mastered the spell, Eino pulled his toy spider out before heading to sleep. He pointed his wand at it and shouted the incantation. "Arania Exumai!" The light burst from his wand and powerfully blew away the spider. He proudly picked it up, put it away, and head back to sleep.

Hugo had the empty feeling in his stomach again, seeing the dormitory for the last time...
He got his trunk from under his bed and opened it. His clothes were in there already,
but some stuff was still on his bed. A book, his iPhone which he didn't use at all...
He got it from his dad. Stupid muggle technology.
Hugo sighed and looked at Athena who was already in her cage.
He was glad the sorting hat chose Ravenclaw for him, he felt at home.
Then, he closed his trunk. Two things were still on his bed:
His wand and the beautiful journal in which he had been writing down spells.
He was secretly pracrising duelling spells. No one was there.

He lay the apple he was eating under his bed. He pointed his wand at the apple
and whispered: "Reducto". The apple bursted open. Heheh.
He went to sit on his bed. Sigh, last time... He'd miss Hogwarts a lot.
