After listening to William, Katie and Legend, Jae finally understood what was going on. Well, kinda. Whatever this really was about, Jae didn't know, but he did know this was something that was going to change their group of friends forever. There was no going back. There was nothing that anyone could do to change it. Things were different. And he didn't like it.

Everything blew up from there. Legend and Katie kept fighting while William and Danny tried to split the two apart. Jae sighed. This was all becoming too much. Legend was saying so many things that were hurting so many people, and even though they were hurtful now, Jae knew that he would regret them later. He had to stop him. There was something he had to do, but nothing came to mind.

Then the unthinkable happened. Legend came up to him and said few words, but words that he knew weren't good. As much as he wanted those things to happen, he didn't. Legend and Leah being together was not good for him, or for anyone, maybe. But he also knew that if Legend broke up with her now that would just lead to more heartbreak and sadness amongst their group of friends.

That also meant that Katie had told Legend. He trusted her and she still told him. He turned to her and sighed weakly. "You told him..." he mumbled as a bubbling rage welled up inside him. What was this feeling?

He had to do something. Legend was walking away.

"Legend! NO!" he shouted after him. "Don't walk away! We need to talk 'bout this! There isn't anythin' we can't fix! Don't be irrational!" It was too late. Legend was already gone. He turned back to his friends and scanned them with his twilight blue eyes. Everything was a mess. Katie was crying, Legend was storming out, and no one knew what to do. Jae was angry, angry at everyone, angry at everything, angry at himself for letting himself become vulnerable for another human being, angry at himself for telling someone else about his feelings and angry that he was angry. He was never angry. He wasn't sure if any of his friends had actually seen him angry, but he couldn't hold it in any longer. His brain hurt.

He yelled loudly out of rage then narrowed his eyes and ran both hands through his brown hair completely messing it up. "I have to fix this." With that, he turned on his heel and ran after Legend.

Vanessa walked down the Third Floor corridor and stopped in front of one of the walls. She posted the Gryffindor Alumni Ball Invitation up on the wall. Proud of herself; she smiled at the invitation and walked away out of the corridor.

Simon smiled as he walked along the corridor, he was feeling a bit loanly and sick at the moment, he sat down against the wall and went into his bag, he wanted to do something fun but he had no idea what too do, maybe something funny would make him happier.

Amy skipped down the hall looking for a familiar face-Simonn! she called as she jogged over plonking herself down next to him

Simon smiled at Amy. "How are you?" He asked as she plonked down next to her. "So what have you been doing?" He said as he looked at her and smiled, he really wanted to kiss her, but he didn't know if she would like it or not. "I've missed you." he said as he put his arm around her and gave her a cuddle.

Amy snuggled under his arm, same, she smiled at him, I'm good thanks, how are you? she asked him, butterflies in her stomach

Simon smiled at Amy. "I love you." He said after awhile, he didn't know why he did but he did. "I'm good too." He said as he looked at Amy. "I'm just scared about you." He sighed. "With me being a Prince, it could be hard on you, if we went out on a date or anything." He warn. "Though If you still want too, I'd love to take you on a date to Hogsmeade one day." He smiled.

Amy smiled at him, me too, and you don't need to be scared about me, I can stand up for myself, I pack a hard punch, she joked grinning, but yeah I'd definatley love to go to Hogsmede with you, everything was coming up Amy today she grinned and punched the air inwardly doing a mad inward dance, but restraining from jumping around so Simon didn't think she was too much of a freakazoid.

Mathias is still your best friend, OUR best friend Katie wanted to scream. She didn't know where he was at the moment, that was beside the point. Legend was just angry and taking it out on everyone. And Cy.. he was gone. She knew that and that alone, they would all just have to accept it and get over it. Jae and Kayla.. well, Kay always had her head in a book or a quill in hand, studying her brains out. Katie kept this all to herself, knowing they couldn't go on yelling at each other. Not when they had friends around them trying to put a stop to their fighting and seperate them. And then Legend brought Danny into it, Katie froze with shock. It was a good thing her slightly younger cousin started tugging her down the corridor when he had otherwise she wouldn't have been able to stop herself from snapping at him.

His voice held no emotion at all, yet those words were clearly not spoken seriously. He was being cold. Wait, WHAT? Why.. Jae was now upset with her, yeah. That was great. I hadn't meant to.. I didn't exactily.. urgh. She had a lot of explaining and apologizing to do, didn't she? When Katie opened her eyes, her gaze was fixed on her feet and the stone floor beneath them as she pretended not to be listening to their friends voices becoming somewhat distant now as Danny guided her further down the corridor.

She had really done it this time.

They turned a corner that Katie hardly noticed and Danny took a seat against the wall, reminding her instantly of the Fifth Floor and her conversation with Jae just hours ago. Just.. great. Shuddering a bit as she took a deep breath, Katie went and sat next to the young Gryffindor, not realizing that tears were still making wet tracks down her face until he created a handkerchief for her. She gave a weak smile, mumbling "Thank you," and wiped either side of her face, then her sniffly nose.

Through dark, somewhat pink and puffy eyes now from all the crying she was doing, Katie looked at the still small boy and for a moment that's all she did, thinking about his question. "I don't know." She whispered back, turning her gaze to the white fabric between her fingers. His question was an understandable one and he had every right to ask.. they all did, she only wished her answer could be that simple. Katie looked back up to meet Danny's equally brown orbs, sighing softly before she said, "I know friends shouldn't fight like that. But.. I don't know how to answer you. I don't know. It just seems to get harder and harder for us to get along,"

She averted her gaze, staring down at her shoes for a moment. "I hope you didn't take what he said to heart, Danny. He's not mad at you.. you are his friend; he's mad at me," Katie shook her head. "and sometimes, we take our anger out on the wrong person. He didn't mean it."

Patroclus made his way down the corridor, the day had finally come, It was time to cook up a Mexican Feast for Evelyn. He would not deny he was quite nervous, Patroclus and Evelyn had become great friends since the Suit of Armor fiasco, but still if he screwed this up, who knows?

He was armed with the knowledge of what and how to cook, now he just needed his dining partner, so he stood waiting, just outside the Charms Kitchen.

Wrinkling and unwrinkling the note in her hands, Evelyn continued to walk up to the third floor, mentally berating herself for being nervous. Why she was nervous? Only Merlin knew!

However, one turn around the corner and into the third floor corridor, Evelyn hastily stuffed the wrinkled note into her pocket before putting a small smile on her face as she saw the Gryffindor. "Hey lemur boy." she said with a small chuckle as she walked up to them.

Patroclus blushed as Evelyn arrived, "Lemur Boy? Is that going to to stick, and beside you still haven't told me what I did!" He smiled, his time as a Lemur was a blur, a blur that only the Slytherin before him remembered.

"So how are you? I glad you came! I though the may have ignored the Owl, thinking it was all a plot to poison you!" Patroclus had wondered if she would turn up, he wanted her too, and he was in luck as here she was. "Ready for me to cook you up a storm, I hope you have starved yourself all day!"

Remember to breathe, he told himself

"Probably." she said with an innocent smile before completely ignoring his next words. Nah, she wasn't going to tell him. Let him think up whatever random story he was going to tell himself he did.

"Good." she nodded. "Well, there's always the possibility of poisons." True. But she was still going to make him taste whatever he made first, juuuuust in case. "Besides, I'll be watching you like a hawk when you cook."

Teehee. Yup, she would be. "And if starving myself means I accidentally missed breakfast and skipped lunch? Then yes, i did. So cook fast."

"Fine, hold your silence!" Patroclus smiled, realizing getting his embarrassing story out of Evelyn was going to be like drawing blood from a stone. Then maybe he was better off not knowing, he knew he ate a bug, and that was bad enough, perhaps her silence was golden.

"Well, I can tell you now, there will be no poison, just passion" he said the last word in a think Mexican accent, for they were definitely passionate about their food, and so was Patroclus!

His eyes popped when Evelyn told him she had not eaten all day, "Then we had no time to lose! Come On lets go!" He went to grab her by the hand but remembered her personal space issues they had dealt with in the pass, so instead he turned it into a wave.

Not really sure what to make of that accent he did on 'passion', Evelyn giggled (yea, giggled) quietly before raising a brow. He wasn't going to...take her hand was he?

No, no he wasn't. Thank Merlin. She didn't need a panic attack at the moment and besides, she was way too hungry to have her personal space issue stuff kick in at the moment. Smiling, the Slytherin nodded and gestured for him to go in first before she followed. It didn't really occur to her that they were on the third floor until, well now. And why she hadn't asked before? Well, her question would be answered now.

There was a kitchen on this floor? Coolness.

Bradin walked down the long corridor. Well this was yet another one of his many detors at Hogwarts. He didn't mind the detors, he seemed to meet new people on every detor he went on. He met a Gryffie on his last detor. And on another one he met his girlfriend/soul mate. That was the fn of detors, you never knew who you'd meet.

Kevin wandered along the third floor corridor and not paying attention to where he was walking he bumped into a younger slytherin student and said "Sorry was not paying attention to where i was walking"

Bradin turned around as someone walked into him. Ouch! "S'ok. No one got hurt" he replied politely. Time to meet yet another person. "I'm Bradin" he said with a smile toward the guy. He looked moderately older than himself but o well.

Kevin smiled at Bradin and said "I'm Kevin nice to meet you Bradin"

"Pleasure to meet you too" replied Bradin with a smile.

Kevin smiled and said "So what brings you here today Bradin"

Bradin shrugged. "Just felt like taking a walk and ended up taking another detor" he replied. "What about you?" he asked.

Kevin smiled and said "I am just having a walk and a tour of the castle"

"Not really a lot to do in this castle is there" replied Bradin. Then something occured to him. "What year are you in?" he asked curiously.

Kevin smiled at Bradin and said "I am in fifth year Bradin what about yourself?"
