Vanessa nodded in agreement. "Yes they can. It hurts sometimes, you know?" She said sighing. She listened to Gold's advice and she thought about it. She was right, but her plan already went into action so what now? "I'll keep that in mind." She smiled. "Thank you for the advice though, Goldie." She said laughing a bit.

Laughing, Marilyn reached out and touched Rafe's face. "My brother may not seem like it...but he likes you...and trust me. He's an exceptional judge of character...and as far as my mother goes..." The blonde looked down at her lap, the heat already starting to make its way up her neck. "She's already planning the wedding, I'm sure." Of course, they'd talked about how much they cared for one another and them being together for the rest of their lives...but marriage had never came up.

To be honest, she didn't even know if Rafe would what to marry her. She didn't know all the traditions of his clan...and setting herself up for that heartbreak wasn't an option. Why talk about it if it wasn't possible, right?

"She already talks about us like we're going to start having her grandbabies the second we graduate." Marilyn was sure her face was in full flame by now.

Patrick stood with his arms crossed in front of him as he looked at the "famous" Whomping Willow. He had read about this tree in books when they talked about Hogwarts so he decided to come check out the "scary beast thing" for himself. Pffft...this this wasn't scary. It was LAME to be honest. Okay compared to some of the things he had encountered.

Why wasn't he going near it then? Well, that was a different story. The summer air was starting to fade to fall and he was anticipating the coming of it. Fall meant leaves and even though this was going to sound really immature...HE LOVED LEAVES!

Strolling along the Hogwarts grounds as she did almost everyday now, Ella stumbled across the Whomping Willow once again. Her last experience here was kind of boring but she didn't particulary stay for long. As she looked down there for a moment, her eyes squinted as she recognized someone from the back of the head. Hmm, should she go ahead and assume that was who she thought it was?

"Guess whooo?" She said, placing her hands in front of his eyes. Phew, it was Patrick. And thank Merlin 'cause she hadn't seen him in ages and was... starting to miss him?! Crazy feelings.

As he stood there watching the blasted tree, he felt two hands cover his eyes. Oh gosh please not be a fourth year again! Then he recognized the voice. The voice that was unmistakable. ELLA AINSWORTH! "Hmm... I don't know, could it be Miss Ainsworth?" he asked, removing her hands quickly and then spinning around and picking her up in a huge hug. He had missed the girl for some reason. He held her up in the air without letting go.

Partly because it made her jump, but also because it was Patrick who was hugging her. Patrick! "Put me down Mr Dubois." She insisted, kicking her feet, but not too frantically.

She was enjoying this hug, but she didn't want to make it obvious that she liked it. "Oh, and that's right. I found out your surname." Just the way she knew she would. From Vanessa. Mwa haha.

Rafe kind of silently laughed at Marilyn's mum's comment. It's not that he felt awkward or surprised, it was just kind of odd hearing it out loud. They were only teenagers and he loved Marilyn dearly. He would do anything for her, but this was something way into the future. He wasn't quite sure if he understood the purpose of marriage. Wasn't it just a piece of paper?

"I can't deny I've thought about the future and us," Rafe said as he took her hand. "I love you body and soul and want to spend the rest of my life with you. Truly. But, as for marriage...," Rafe took in a deep breath, he certainly didn't want to hurt her feelings, "Let's just take things one step at a time," he laughed. "Well, my mum could probably care less about grandchildren, now that Aurelia is around," Rafe shrugged. "I think it's funny, how blonde she looks, very un-Lycaon like." Rafe laughed. Marilyn breathed a sighed of relief. She'd hoped she hadn't offended him or scared him in anyway. Her mother might have still been under her father...but Amelia was very much in love with the thought of Rafe as a son-in-law. Merlin, it was embarrassing. "What can I say? The woman loves you...It's almost scary. I could swear she loves you more than she does even me."

"And I agree that is very far into the future...and I'm not even sure if those are things that will be possible for us, yet." Her smile was steady and serene. "All I'm worried about is spending time with you...for now." She smirked, popping the top of a butterbeer and drinking a bit of it. After a moment or so, she sighed. "I have yet to meet your little sister. I love babies so much..."

Patrick laughed as Ella seemed to struggle while he held her up. Then he heard her say she found his surname after she called him Mr. Dubois. Dang nab it. Oh well. He had come up with a new nickname for her anyway so ha! "Fine I'll put you down." He set her on the ground and took a step back. "I'm glad you wasted your time trying to find it out," he remarked with a smirk. Who knows who told him. Not fair.

"Anyway, I've come up with a new nickname for you," he said, glancing back at the Whomping Willow. "It's pretty awesome actually. I've decided I'll call you The Ellanator or just Ellanator,"' he explained smiling, proud of himself for making up the nicknames.

Maddie was walking and heard someone - Adelyn? - singing one of her favoutrite songs, so she went over
'That was good!' she said 'Mind if I join in?' then she heard Rex calling her name and asking how she was
'Oh, I'm fine thanks, Rex' she said, smiling 'How are you?'
