Aiden made his way out the the infamous Whomping Willow. He had been hearing a great deal about the dangers of the tree, but he hadn't really had the opportunity to go and check it out. Until now, that is. He walked a bit further, though still kept a fair distance from its swinging branches, and leisurely examined the tree from afar. Hmm. He wondered how many people actually died from the thing.

"Don't you dare get too close. I'm NOT going to rescue you." With a smirk playing around her lips Nancy quickened her steps upon recognizing Aiden as the boy standing dangerously close to the Whomping Willow. Tsktsk...from what she'd heard - because she was being a good Prefect actually knowing stuff aka gossip!!one! about her Slytherins - he was in trouble already. He certainly didn't need a nice visit to the Hospital Wing or maybe he did?

Hah. Aiden didn't even have to turn around to know whose voice that was. Nancy, of course. But he turned around anyway, wanting to get a look at the prefect, and grinned as she neared him. "No worries, Queen. I have no desire to lose any of my limbs," he countered with a wink. Hmm. Why did she look so smug? Just to satisfy her, he took a large step backwards and looked pointedly at Nancy now beside him. "I'm relieved to know that you would so readily sit back and watch me wriggle helplessly to my death, Nancy." Heheh.

Nancy couldn't resist the urge to simply grin back at Aiden as he turned around to face her. Somehow it always brightened her mood when she saw him...which hadn't exactly been difficult at their first encounter. Cough. "Oh, well, that is good to hear, King Aiden." The Prefect replied with a small amused bow of her head, smirking rather smugly as he finally took a few steps back.

...well, not ONLY because of that. She had other reasons for the smug smirk too. Hehe. "Oh, you know, that's what good Prefects do. No need to thank me." She said innocently with a sweet smile for Aiden before the amused returned to her lips. "So, what have you been up to? Apart from nearly getting yourself killed that is." Yay, for over-exaggerating things. Heh.

samthehpfreak 05-18-2010 08:27 PM

Sammy went and sat down close to the tree before jumping up and running where the tree couldn't get her "why does everything here move?!" she muttered angrily to herself before sitting down

Add1cted 05-18-2010 08:38 PM

Jay walked up to Sammy,"Annoying tree isn't it..." he said. "Accio boulder!" He said as the boulder threw itself at him, he jumped out of the way and it landed a foot away from where he wanted, he took his wand out and point at the wand "Wingardium Leviosa," he said as he pulled it to the rock next to where Sammy was sitting down. "Need to work on handling things I accio without a wand don't I," he said as he was about to sit down the tree's limb smashed into the boulder so he moved a bit closer to sammy and sat on the floor. "Stupid annoying tree!"

samthehpfreak 05-18-2010 08:43 PM

"very annoying" Sammy agreed with Jay "lucky... you can do magic without a wand" she said

Add1cted 05-18-2010 08:51 PM

"Only 2 spells, rest are WAY too advanced, Just picture yourself with a wand doing the movements in your head, that's what I do but accio is simple. Are you okay today?" he asked curiously. Smiling.

There were times it felt like his heart was about to pound out his chest as it was currently beating so rapidly. "Poetry comes with the territory," he smiled. "I was raised to read that Shakespeare bloke. Surprisingly it helped me with my English." Rafe hated thinking back on the days of learning English, it wasn't very pleasant. But, he guessed that all that hard work pulled off in the end.

"Hmm... I think I'm going to have to take you to Greece," Rafe said as he finished off his butterbeer. "It's one of the most beautiful and cultural places I've ever been. Who knows? The Greeks might build a temple there to worship you, I know I would," he laughed. He really did worship Marilyn. She was the love of his life and everything about her was perfect.

"I've read Shakespeare...I'm more a fan of Poe, myself, however." Marilyn couldn't quite meet his eyes. Rafe's was exceptional in every way. She felt like the lucky one. "I almost hate to admit that muggle literature is one of my favorite things...My father would keel over if he ever knew." That thought brought a small smile to her face. Oh, only if the fates loved her enough to grant her that one wish...

When he began talking about Greece, the blonde smiled. It sounded exciting and lovely. Merlin knew how much she needed a break from this place. Romania had been nice...but that was mainly due to Rafe's presence and that of his father. She could only imagine what her experience with her wonderful boyfriend would be like in such a beautiful country. "If anything, they'll be erecting statues in your honor...You're beyond perfect." Marilyn gave him a look before breaking out into soft giggles. "See? I can be poetic, too."

samthehpfreak 05-18-2010 08:56 PM

"okay ... accio pepple" she said staring at a small pepple and when it came racing at her she caught it perfectly in one hand "wow that actually worked"she said amazed " yeah I'm fine how are you?" she asked

Add1cted 05-18-2010 09:02 PM

"Hehe, I am fine. Congratulations!" he exclaimed when she cast without a wand, "Even better now your here," he said a bit quieter going bright red. DAMN I didnt mean to say that out loud.

samthehpfreak 05-18-2010 09:05 PM

Sammy turned a bright shade of tomato but she couldn't help smiling "thanks" she said still a bright shade of tomato

Poe sent a shiver up Rafe's spine. "Ooooh, Poe...that bloke was odd," Rafe said as he pretended to shiver as if cold. "Some tomb from out whose sounding door. She ne'er shall force an echo more, Thrilling to think, poor child of sin! It was the dead who groaned within," he said as he quoted The Sleeper. "I prefer the older muggle literature, there's more passion than today's stuff. Though Quidditch Through the Ages is my favorite," Rafe grinned. "I'm currently reading more wizard's stuff. Especially on things on becoming a Animagus. But, it's all been theory, not actually how it's done," Rafe said with frustration in his tone. "It's something Carter and I are looking into."

"Hmm...I don't think I've ever seen a statue with a scarred face," Rafe said as he looked at his empty plate. He then flashed a smile back in her direction as she began to giggle. "You are poetry," Rafe said as he gazed lovingly in her eyes.

Add1cted 05-18-2010 09:13 PM

Jay smiled. "Where do we go for a drink in the castle? I wonder when hogsmede is open, i'll take you for a drink there..." he insisted, still really pink.

samthehpfreak 05-18-2010 09:15 PM

"okay that sounds fun" Sammy said still red as a tomato

Add1cted 05-18-2010 09:20 PM

Jay's smile got even bigger, "I have to go now, but I promise we get a drink when hogsmede is open. Promise." he said kissing her on the cheek before walking he turned around, "Accio Books!" he said pulling his hand back as the books flew into his hand. "Seeya!" he said blowing her a kiss and running into the castle.

Marilyn listened to Rafe recite quietly, his words and tone soft and melodic. She honestly believed she could lay there for days...just hearing those lovely sounds. "What can I say? I like odd. It's kinda my thing, you know." She flashed her best smile in his direction and laughed. "You and your Quidditch...Of course, you'd love Quidditch Through the Ages." Leaning forward slightly, she placed a small kiss near his ear. "I love you, just so you know, mister."

He might have mentioned something about Carter...but that would be ignored. That stupid boy was the last thing she wanted to discuss at this moment in time.

"Any statue would be lucky to have your likeness, Rafe. You're the most fascinating, lovely person I've ever met...And I've met a bunch of people, muggles and wizards alike." She returned the smile, a bit lazier than what his had been, though. "And I'm not poetry, thank you very much...A short sonnet, maybe...But that's all I'm compromising."

samthehpfreak 05-18-2010 09:29 PM

"okay seeya" she said as Jay ran into the castle before grabbing everything she owned and running away from the stupid creepy moving tree and running down to the lake

"Hey! If you like odd what does that make me!?" Rafe sarcastically protested. Rafe could feel the heat surface to his face as she planted a kiss and all returned to seriousness. "And what is a kiss, specifically? A pledge properly sealed, a promise seasoned to taste, a vow stamped with the immediacy of a lip, a rosy circle drawn around the verb 'to love.' A kiss is a message too intimate for the ear, infinity captured in the bee's brief visit to a flower, secular communication with an aftertaste of heaven, the pulse rising from the heart to utter its name on a lover's lip: 'Forever.'"

Rafe chuckled. "So Miss Poet, what author wrote these words? I wish I was able to come up with something so beautiful myself, but I'm afraid words of another writer are all that come to mind." Rafe was smiling ear to ear. He took in a deep breath and taking in this moment as well. Everything just felt so perfect.

Rafe didn't overlook the fact that she didn't comment about Carter or their little plan they were concocting. In time Rafe only hoped they could all be friends again.

"You're really to good for me my darling," Rafe spoke of her kind words. "And I suppose a sonnet will suffice, though to me you're much much more." He leaned in a kissed her on the lips. "I love you, Marilyn Force."

Alcemee looked at the Whomping Willow but kept her distance from it. She brought her Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppy, Snowy, with her almost everywhere on the Hogwarts grounds, but she hadn't brought her here. The puppy wouldn't be able to stay away from the tree, and Alcemee did not want her to get hurt by it.

Things so far this year had been really upsetting. She hoped that they would be ok and that the rest of the school was calm. 'Ya right' She thought. "Rex? Are we good now? I hate when we fight." She asked closing her eyes and waited for him to answer.

We are very good" Rex told Kay. " I do not like when we fight either" Rex said to Kay. " better believe I will go to the healer if my shoulder is not healed by next week" Rex agreed with Kay. He kissed her cheek.

"Well, of course, your opinion is held very high by me" Rex told Adelyn. "Well, then writing this song will be a good challenge for you" Rex said to Adelyn. " Be careful of me, I might look over yoru shoulder in the common room" Rex laughed.

Rex sees a girl and a cute little dog. " Wahat a cute little dog you and I am glad I finally see a dog here at HogWarts" Rex told the dog. 'What is yoru name?" Rex asked the dog. " What is your owners name?" Rex asked the little dog. " my name is Rex Trigwell" he introduced himself to the dog and his owner.

What had Aiden Chevalier been up to? Heh. "Oh, you know. Classes and such." No need to elucidate. heheh. "What about you, Miss Prefect? Keeping troublesome sixth years in order?" His grin resurfaced as he thought back to the Humpbacked Witch statue and her lovely sudden addition of facial hair.
