"yeah I'm a muggle-born" sammy said nodding "just the seaton primary school, nothing fancy" she said simply

"cool I don't think I know anybody there though." Sarah responded with her usual smile

Sammy tried to smile ... didn't work well ... came out looking more like a deformed toothy grin "not a lot of people do " she said after stopping trying to smile "its ages away from here" she added nodding again "I take it your ... uh...pure-blood?" she asked even though only pure-bloods got into slytherin so it was a pretty stupid question

"yea and my parents are pretty strict on the whole pureblood stuff they're actually trying to set me up with an arranged marriage soon but I'm reufusibg them because truthfully I think we should all get to pick who we're gonna be with if we're stuck with them for the rest of our lives. Anyways yea I'm a pure-blood I have two older sisters and a twin as well Scarlett and I are here and Elizabeth is in her last year at durmstrang while Taylor is in her 6th year at beaxbatons. I was actually named after them you see my full name is Sarah Elizabeth-Taylor Black-Lestrange but I usually just go with Lestrange as my last name." Sarah said blushing because she realized how much detail she put into that but she knew she had to add this, "but I hang out with muggles, muggleborns, and half-bloods all the time, much to my parents dismay of course." Sarah gave a light laugh trying to lighten the stiffness that she felt was in the air.

"well thats odd..."Sammy said truthfully "I would hate my parents if they arranged my marriage" she said looking a Sarah and feeling kinda sorry for her "I have two older sisters , Gabby and Susan" she said "a younger brother , Ben and a younger sister , Annie" she said trying to forget about what happened to Annie "all muggle of corse" she added "except for Annie , we don't know yet she's only six and i doubt she'll come after..." Sammy stopped in her tracks no you ain't gonna find out that easily she thought now looking at her conversed feet

"yeah it's not the greatest thing, but it can't work if I don't agree to it." Sarah grimised(sp?). "gabby, Susan, Ben, and Annie those are nice names. Annie might be a witch? That's cool...umm...what happened?" Sarah asked tentitively. She was tempted to read he mind, but she felt that it was to personal and if Sammy wanted to tell her she would.

Sammy looked up "it.. uhh... umm...well.. errm" she stuttered , she wanted to tell Sarah about what happened to Annie but not here, not now. "well... she ... she isn't the ... same anymore" she said quietly returning her gaze to her shoes. "she...she was...I'll tell you somewhere else" Sammy said quickly

"okay...umm...where do you want to go? The room of requirement?, dorms?, anywheres is okay with me." Sarah said hastily, she knew this wasn't gonna be easy for Sammy and she wanted her and her sister, even though she never met her, to be okay.

Sammy sat still for a moment room of requirment was usually good but there sometimes could be a lot of people and Sarah couldn't come to her dorms and she couldn't go to hers. one of the corridors maybe?... yeah a corridor ... sixth no one goes there... often. "I'll meet you in the sixth corridor" she whispered quickly to Sarah before getting up and excusing her self from the room "bathroom" she mumbled as an excuse to get out

"okay. Sixth, right." Sarah whispered back. "oh, I'll join you. Excues me." Sarah said a little louder so that people didn't wonder

Maybe it was just him, but the students seemed to leave the office ... cleaner? Nonetheless, it was apparent where he sat, teacup ring and crumbs all about that particular seat. Kapoor took out his wand and made quick work of cleaning up the office.

Even though Arienna had only been here once, and the clutter disturbed her sense of placement, she found a low, clear table and hoisted the box up onto it, another glass clunk coming from it as before. She flexed her hand and pressed her glasses closer to her eyes, smiling slightly at the present, hoping it wasn't something too out-of-the-ordinary for a student to give a teacher--er--staff emmber a gift. Especially since Ari had always liked Mister Kapoor.

Jordan knocked before he entered and caught his first real bit of magic. "Woah, way freaky, um hey, Mista'?" He raised his eyebrow in question, then looked over at the girl with a smile "Hey," He nodded to her. Jordan was wearing his regular hoodie ensemble with baggy jeans and shoes that look bigger than him.

"Miss Malone!" The door squeaked just behind the librarian as he entered into the mess of an office. "How are you doing this term? Getting all of your assignments in and earning points for Ravenclaw, I hope?"

"Hello there!" Kapoor greeted sliding himself into the seat behind the desk with some difficulty. "I haven't seen you in the library before. Welcome to my office. What can I do for you?"

Ari smiled widely, "Mister Kapoor," she nodded a slight bow. "I'm doing..well enough, I suppose, but there's always room for improvement--you know how it is." She put a hand on the large box, "I've brought you a present, Sir--I hope that's not...strange." She flipped the silver latches on the side and began to open the box. "And how have you been, sir?" Even though she already knew the answer. Mister Kapoor was 99% of the time 'Well' or 'Fine' and, occasionally he's 'Getting along alright'. Mister Kapoor was never a downer.

"A present? For me?" What a rare thing! "And, I'm just fine. I spilled a few books a few nights ago in the creatures section and I have no idea where they've gone. Scampered off, they!" He said as if they had their nerve. "What in the world compelled you to get me a gift, Miss Malone, really you shouldn't have." He said, wondering if it was costly.

She un-did the Velcro and smiled back up at him, "Well, I remember your likeness for fish, and you seemed a bit interested when I mentioned that I fed the fish in our back pond marshmellows, so..." She paused as she lifted a huge, heavy jar out of the box. Inside was a koi fish, a little over a foot long, swimming in a circle in the clear water. Some of it's scales, contrasting against white and gold, were a shimmering grey-aqua color. "I figured I'd give you one."

"I had to get you something, Mister Kapoor," she said, sliding the jar across the table slightly to him. He had always been Ari's favorite person at the school. She couldn't pass by an opportunity to give something back to him.

"Yeah, I'm new, do you have any books on how to use a wand?" He shoved his hands in his pockets "I'm kinda new to this and if I'm gonna get it I might as well practice right?"

Kapoor could hardly believe that someone had snuck into the library a fish. And not even a gold fish, but a live koi. He'd heard about these creatures being much like dogs with fins. And at the Japanese Gardens near his home they would follow the guests around as they walked around the ponds perimeter.
"How remarkable a gift!" He exclaimed. "He's going to taste simply delicious!" He joked with the student.

"Thank you. Truly. Miss Malone." He said sincerely. "Has he got a name?"


Turning to the young man once more, to answer his question. It looked as if Kapoor was going to say something terribly informative, but stopped short when what the boy asked actually sunk in. "How to use a wand? Do you mean like improving ones charming techniques?"
