"oh, okay thanks." she said to the girl "I'm Sarah by the way, Sarah black-lestrange." she turnedto the professor whom she assumed was in charge "I would vote for a DJ that could play both muggle and magic music and if we do go with DJ I'd be more than happy to
volunteer alongside my muggle friend who actually already knows about the wizarding world so we wouldn't have to modify her memory at all. It's kida perfect." she smiled and gave an airy laugh.

"well I have a few mixes and samples that I could go and get if you want."

Sarah smiled at Selena proud of her not letting the other girl put her down

"I vote and as I said before volunteer for free in the DJing area."

peeking over selena's shoulder she saw the votes so far. Whispering to selena she said, "looks like I should get my DJ equipment out huh?" smiling she turned back to the rest of the meeting.

Selena smiled at Sarah and tallied down her vote as well. Hehehe. Looks like more people wanted DJ's...

Emmy flew into the room, went straight up to Selena, and gasped out, "More...votes...from Decorations committee...3 for...live singer...1 for DJ...and one...wants both!" she collapsed into her chair, and having got her breath back, she said, "Decorations have decided on a 'Seasons' theme, so I think, since we can get both acts for free, it would be a good idea to engage both, yeah? Then neither of them would get too tired, either..." Ye gods, she thought, I've never run so hard in my life! I wonder how many people will agree with me...?

Selena was shocked. "Wow, calm down, take a seat," Selena said. Emmy must've really ran here. She was out of breath. "Take a few deep breaths slowly," she added. But not too deep, she might choke or something. Well, Sarah was offering to DJ... so maybe they could have both... She started to tally it again.

Sammy ran into the room after Emmy "never again" she panted sitting back down in her chair "the decorations committee want to know if there will be a stage" she said gasping for breath really gotta start training again she thought

"Thanks, Selena!" Emmy had just about got her heart rate back to normal, when...

As she sat down, Emmy turned to her and said, "Sammy, I'm so sorry! I just had to get back here as soon as possible! Sorry!" she put a hand on her friend's arm as she spoke.

"it's fine" she said "this just proves that I need to start training again" she said with a small laugh

Selena smiled at the two. "You guys didn't need to run back here," she said. They really didn't, it was too much work and they could've hurt themselves. As for the stage. "Well, I think there should be a stage because well... it would allow the students to see the live band or the DJ and it would be easier to make announcements and all regarding the ball," she said. Plus it would look better.

"I'll go tell them" Sammy said standing up "you want to come Emmy?" she asked

"I completely agree, a stage would be agreat idea - someone will have to tell Professor Kingsley as soon as possible..." Not us, though! No way, José! she thought.

"Do you want me to go?" Selena said. She didn't want them to keep running around. "I'll come back quickly, and one of you two can keep tally if there are other votes," Selena offered. Because if they kept running around that would be bad. Besides, she needed to stretch her legs a bit. She was getting a bit tired of sitting.

"Oh, ok..." might as well, now I've got my breath back...

"you don't have to Emmy but I need the exercise" she said simply. She turned to the other girl "nah its okay I can do it" she said before walking out of the room

Selena nodded. Well... only if they wanted to... because really, they deserved a break from all that running around. "Do you want me to join you...?" she asked. Because it might be better with company. She started to twirl her pen again. rawrs. She needed to stop that...

"nah it's alright" sammy told the girl before walking out the door







Sammy walked back in the door "told 'em" she said before sitting back down

Hmmm, okay so 5 people wanted a live band and 6 wanted a DJ? Alright, then she would pick live band just so DJ couldn't automatically win. Evilness. "I vote for live music." she said with a smirk.

"Welcome back," Selena said to the girl who had been running around for quite a while and smiled at her. However, Selena rolled her eyes at what the other girl said. She wanted to wipe that nasty smirk off her face. She then wrote down the extra vote.

"that means the scores are even" sammy said more to herself than anyone else that means I can't go yet ARRRGGGGHHHH sammy thought rubbing her face in her hands

There was certainly a lot of running around going on and still not much decisions being made.

Lawson clapped his hands together to get the students attention. "Okay so we know what the theme of the night is. Now you need to decide what kind of music goes with the different seasons of the year."

He looked around at the students for a moment until his eyes fell on a young Slytherin. "Violet, why don't you head over to the food committee and see what their plans are? Whether they are having a formal sit down dinner or if it's going to be something casual like finger food?"

Trixie kinda zoned out of the conversation but was glad that her vote for live music was still valid. But why was she the oldest student there? Where were her other elder students? All these younger years just made her apprehensive of what they were gonna choose.

sammy almost fell of her seat hearing the lound clap "I'm good" she muttered regaining her balance. "Professor I can go if..." what was that slytherin girl's name again , she couldn't remember "...she doesn't want to" she offered, she needed to stop by the common room and grab a jacket

Emmy sat up, and said, "Professor? I know it's a bit obvious, and definitely not to everyone's taste, but since we're having ballroom lessons, could we have at least a movement from Vivaldi's 'Four Seasons' - maybe just as the introductory dance?"

Awesome, she got to go and ask people stuff it was like a mission in a way. Giggles. "Okay, professor!" she said brightly and strutted out of the office.

Maddie smirked. This was sure to annoy Violet...
