Giggling himself, Jake chewed on the side of his tongue and grinned at the owl, before turning his hand so that his palm faced the ceiling of the carraige, and stroking the bird's head with the tops of his fingers. He kept this rhythmic motion up as he looked back at Lexi and grinned knowingly.

"Lolcat," the boy called, looking up at the overhead baggage thing across from him and making a funny clicking sound with his mouth. At once his cat, who Jake always still considered a little kitty, crept out of the rucksack Jake had worn onto the train. It was the animal's favourite place to sleep.

With an envious look at Wasabi, the grey tabby leapt down onto the seats and mewed like a baby. Jake laughed. "He nnnever did guhh-get his adult vvvoice."

As if this was a command, Lolcat approached Lexi and nudged her hand, waiting to be pet, already purring loudly.

"Romania, Hungary, Slovakia, Sebia, and a couple other surrounding countries." Delilah said. She wished she could travel. She went to France once and loved it. She envied her brother, Jude for being able to go to all the different places.

Annabelle rolled her eyes. She looked down at her outfit. It was very beautiful. At least she thought so. Annabelle bounced with excitement."I', SOOO excited too! I hope we go to the U.S."She said. SHe thought about where she wanted to go. THe beaches the cute guys, but what the hck she had people here. She couldn't be with a muggle. Ew no. They are weird. Hmmm what doe muggle mean anyways?.......

ANYWAYS.....

Annabelle smiled and looked everywhere, hopefully more Hufflepuff's would come in and sit by her. She wanted mostly BOY Hufflepuff's to sit by her. She was still heartbroken about Brody. Even though it had been like a year.

"None taken.." Dianna replied. "Anyways I get that a lot." she continued. She finally retrieved her LG and was writing down her number on three pieces of paper.

"Here." she said handing it over to Amy, Luna and the girl.

"Hey there! I'm Dianna by the way.." she said to the girl.

Marie could tell Patroclus was starting to feel a little uncomfortable with the way the conversation was going. That's why she had wanted to be in a compartment alone, she didn't want to have to explain anything to anyone. It was a little too late for that now though.

"It's okay" she said. "Um yeah, I walked out on him. I thought it was better than arguing and maybe saying something I would regret later." Not to mention they had already had that argument once before and they got no where with it. "I highly doubt he is sorry, he doesn't even think he did anything wrong." Because clearly it is okay to NOT tell your girlfriend what your summer plans are but tell her enemy first.... and then invite said enemy to go out of the country with him and his family for the entire summer, and then think the girlfriend should be okay with those plans once she actually found out about them. Yeah, so NOT okay. He probably wasn't even missing her. She could just picture him and Kay sitting in a compartment laughing and talking about what they were going to do over the summer.

"I'm sorry, I'm not trying to put you in the middle of anything. I just thought maybe you had seen him today, you know since you guys are in the same house." Not that that really meant anything. She was in the same house with Destiny and Evelyn and she hadn't seen them today. Then again she was avoiding all her friends right now.

Patroclus listened intently to Marie's words, he could tell she was really hurt, the pain was obvious in her voice. Patroclus thought back to what Professor Lawson had said to him last night, "Look out for my She-Snakes." was this that moment, should Patroclus step up, and fill the Lawsonators shoes.

Undecìded as to how to continue, all the boy could do was smile at the girl before him, a smile that read, I am here if you need to talk. "All I can say is that we boys are quite dumb, if Carter has hurt you, I seriously doubt it was on purpose, he is crazy about you, I know that for certain!"

Patroclus thought it best to take her mind off the 'Carter subject'. "Looking forward to the TriWizard Tournement, I know I am?" It was a potentially boring subject, but it was all he could come up with.

Carter was crazy about her? Well he sure had a funny way of showing it. "I'm glad someone knows that for certain" she mumbled to herself as she started playing with the bracelet he had given her, the one she never takes off for anything.

The TriWizard Tournament... Marie really hadn't given it any thought since she had other things on her mind. "Um, yeah, I guess I am" she said trying to sound as if she really was looking forward to it. However, she just couldn't think of anything besides Carter right now.

"Patroclus, do you think it's wrong of me to ask Carter not to be friends with Kay? I mean I stopped being friends with Evan when he asked." Sure, they were totally different situations but still, she did stop being friends with Evan to save her relationship with Carter. The question was, was Carter willing to do the same for her? "Sorry, there I go putting you in the middle again. You don't have to answer if you don't want." It's funny how she was starting to feel comfortable talking to Patroclus about this. She would never even talk to Destiny and Evelyn about this, and they were her best friends.

Patroclus was happy that Marie had picked up the TriWizard line of question, and the boy was about to reply, when she returned to the topic of Carter.

He paused for a moment, he was not going to take side, no sir, however she was reaching out for help, and Patroclus would never refuse a friend in need. As the looked out the window, he pondered the girls question.
"I think you have to ask yourself, was it right that you gave up a friendship in the first place?" He was entering to dangerous territory; Maire migth not like what he was saying but he thought it the most logical conclusion, "I don't think you should have stopped being friends with Evan, and I don't think Carter should have to stop being be friends with Kay, when two people love each other as much as you and Carter do, you love them for the good and the bad, even if you can't stand being around the bad." Patroclus had hardly spoken to Kay, however he knew there was great enimosity between the Hufflepuff and She-Snakes.

"Yes relationship require great sacrifice, but you should never change who you are for someone else," the boy locked eyes with the girl across from him, "Do you understand what I mean?"

"Hey, I'm Delilah." She said taking the piece of paper. She quickly wrote her number down 3 times on a piece of looseleaf, ripped it in three, and handed them out.

Dianna nodded her head and smiled as she took the paper from Delilah.
"So Delilah what house are you in?" she asked.

Lexi let out a delighted squeal when the kitteh came out to see her. She let the kitteh smell her hand for a moment before she scooped it up and held it to her. She grinned broadly as she pet the kitty and loved on it. "I love kitty's. I swear, the highlight or this dreadful term was Professor Kinglsley Transfiguring me into a cat. It was amazing," she said as she cooed at the furball and stroked it's head.

"Amazing isn't it? That when there is no one else in the world that you can turn to you can always count on your pets to be there for you," she mumbled as she watched Wasabi close her eyes contentedly as Jake stroked her feathers. She made a small hooting noise that meant she was most delighted at having a new friend.

Humming along to a very old song, Annie walked along the hall of the middle cars. She just wanted to sit. And cheer up. Things had to go alright through summer, or else she'd be a depressing bag full of tears if not being positive.

Letting out a long sigh, she just took a random compartment, not really looking if someone was inside.

Jayce couldn't help but laugh. "That seriously wouldn't surprise me. But then again, how in the world would the test my blood? Like how would they be able to stick the needle in and extract my blood?" he asked her curiously. Maybe she'd have an answer, because he sure as hell didn't. "Nah, i don't freeze to death. I can still wear short sleeves in winter if i felt like it. But it'd look weird, so i don't. You on the other hand, would most definitely freeze to death in the winter." he chuckled at the thought of her wearing five coats.

"Yeah, i'd most definitely die of heatstroke if i ever went to Brazil. There's no way in hell that you're getting me to go there." he said sternly. No way possible. "No one to talk to? What about you? Or do you not count?" he asked with an eyebrow arched. "Hey- you know what? You should try to teach me how to speak in Portuguese. That's what the speak over there, right?" That's be an interesting and frustrating, for Eirian at least, experience.

"No, you most definitely won't be able to swim in this type of weather. I can't even imagine it." Okay, he lied. He could totally imagine it. Eirian would probably wear one of those big puffy winter coats in the water and it'd be like a flotation device for her. He chuckled at the thought. So funneh!

"I do seem to get along with girls pretty well." he agreed with a nod of his head. "Well, maybe it's because they think i'm totally irresistible and hot." he laughed. Yeah. That was it. "Nah, not the hair. Probably Because i'm just plain awesome and i'm American." he laughed again, but stopped as she pulled his hair. "Ouch!" he protested playfully with a grin. It obviously didn't hurt but he couldn't help but yell. "Aww, fine. I won't ask about your full name. I'll just ask your grandma when we get to your house. I bet she'll happily tell me." he smirked over at her.

"A lake? That sounds like fun. I love swimming in lakes." He use to swim in the lakes a lot back home. Not having a pool and all, the lake was pretty much his only option unless he went to a friends house of course, which was a rare occasion. "Into the town? That sounds pretty fun too." he grinned. "Is there a movie theater?" he asked her curiously.

"We could always chop your arm off," Eirian replied, shrugging nonchalantly. "If you have stone for blood, then it'd just slide right out of your veins if her held your arm upside down. Rock's heavy, you know." Lovely image she had just painted... With a grimace, Eirian skipped along to the next statement. "No, no, I'd just... hibernate. Or fly south. I am one with nature, after all. And I don't sweat. Ever." It was something she prided herself in. Sweating was gross, so she just didn't do it.

"Hell," she said, laughing a bit to herself. "You better be good, or you stone-for-blood self will just implode down there. That's even hotter than Brazil, I bet. And no, I don't particularly count... seeing as I might never go home..." It was a dim look on her life, but her grandmother would find a way to keep her in the Welsh countryside after she graduated from Hogwarts, and she knew it. "I'll try to teach you, I suppose... Here. I'll start with this." Pulling the letter that Thiago had sent back out of her little purse, she handed it to Jayce. "You know amor already... See if you can figure out anything else in there."

As she left the letter to him, Eirian continued to address the topics at hand. "It'd be horrible, but I suppose I can bear it for a day or so. And in town... Well, I'm not sure what there is. A bunch of shops, perhaps a movie theatre? I don't know... It's a while over the hills. The manor is very far away from muggle civilization. It even has a Muggle Repelling charm."

Scoffing, she rolled her eyes. "Hot?" Eirian asked, arching a curious brow in her partner's direction. "Irresistible? I don't find you either, and I have a pretty good taste in men." She wandered off in her mind for a moment, thinking of her usual taste. She liked metro guys... with decently long hair... brilliant eyes... a nice smile... They had to have a sense of humor, but a serious side for both tender and traumatizing moments. And, most importantly, they had to absolutely worship her. Looking over to Jayce again, she quelled a blush, realizing that he fit most of those requirements. He had yet to kiss the ground she walked upon... "You're just fishing. I think it's because you're too metro for your own good." Yup, yup... Girls would always rather hang with a sensitive guy. "Go on, but she might eat you alive first. She's an evil old lady."

Maddie wandered down the aisles, looking for someone she knew... or just an empty compartment. And there was one there. She slipped in quietly, clutching her small satchel. It had her books to read on the train, her iPod and her keys to the house - in case her father wasn't in. Although she supposed the driver would have keys when he picked her up. Maybe. At least she didn't have to carry her trunk, though. It was floating behind her, and she used Wingardium to get it up onto the luggage rack. She sat down on one of the cushioned benches and pulled out a book, taking a small bite of a chocolate frog as well. Yum.

Conan was looking for an empty compartment as well , or someone who he knows , he opened few compartments but they were all filled with people , and every time he opened a door he had a hope for a familiar face until he opened that compartment where Maddie sat " Ohai Maddie , Can I .. ? " he asked .

Maddie looked up and smiled happily at Conan
'Hey,' she said, closing her book and putting it back in the bag 'Course you can. Chocolate frog?' she asked, holding out an unopened one

Conan smiled happily at Maddie , he entered the compartment closed the door and placed his jacket and and his comics book on the seat beside him .
" Aaah Thank you , I'm starving , didn't eat anything since the morning " and he took the chocolate frog .. he opened it and started to eat , it was a YUMMY .. " soo, how was your school year ?" he spoke while chewing his chocolate .

Maddie grinned and took another bite of hers, then puilled her bag across the seat towards her and pulled out all her sweets. Bertie Botts, Chocolate Forgs, Pumpkin Pasties, and loads of muggle stuff like Mars Bars and KitKats
'Help yourself' she said, giggling 'I bought some for my friend Sel. She's constantly hyper, so it's the kind of present she'd like.' hmmm... her school year? 'It was pretty good, actually. How about yours? Oh, hey, do you read te Daily Prophet? Apparently all the shops in Diagon Alley are closed. It's gonna be a nightmare trying to get all our school stuff....'

It seemed that Jake's cheek muscles were starting to hurt quite a bit now. The boy grinned wider as he watched his cat, continuing to pet Wasabi fondly. "I buhh-bought him jjjust before my fffirst year. He's bbbeen with me thuhh-through alot."

At the thought of being turned into a cat, Jake looked puzzled for a second. He hadn't attended that class... being holed up in his dormitory did that. Crying did that. Avoiding EVERYONE did that.

"I duhh-don't think I cccould function wwwithout him."

Selena walked back and forth trying to find Maddie. "Maddieeeee? Where are yooou?" she called out. Needless to say, she was already jumped up on sugar and she wanted to tackle hug her other bestie before she left. "MADDIE!" she grinned when she saw her and opened the compartment door, tackle-hugging her. Though it was hard... you know... since she was sitting and all.

Ow. One minute Maddie was sitting, and the next... well, she was lying on the floor. Ow.
'Heeeey, Sel' she said, picking herself up and grinning 'Want a sweet?'

Leilani looked up as she saw a girl enter her compartment. "Well hi there." she greeted, giving a small wave. Coffee jumped down from up in the rack and situated himself in her lap as she took her legs off the seats. The girl looked around her age.

Marie sat there listening to Patroclus. She wasn't sure that she agreed on everything he was saying though. She did think about some things though. "Yeah, I think I did the right thing. Carter is more important to me than my friendship with Evan." she said.

Pfft, love for the good and bad. She could handle some bad but she would NOT deal with Kay. "But he's taking her to Russia with him for the summer... and he talked to her about his summer plans BEFORE he even told me what he was doing. Am I just supposed to accept the fact that my boyfriend is in another country for the whole summer with the one person that I really and truly hate?" No, she was not going to accept it, she was not going to think it was okay. "I mean why is it okay for him to ask me to stop being friends with someone but it's not okay for me to do the same thing?"

Sacrifices? Carter didn't seem to be making any at all. "I'm not asking him to change for me. I'm just asking him to understand how I feel but that seems to be too much for him." Oh yeah, she understood what he meant. "Yeah, I understand. I understand that I was a fool to think he could care about me as much as I care about him." She laid her head back on her knees and just stared out the window.

Why did loving Carter have to hurt so much?

"I have had Wasabi since I started my first year! I got her as a gift from my Auntie," Lexi said with a little sigh, but her smile never slipped. She was quite happy with her new found friend... or friends. Jake and Lolcat were definitely her friends now. Mhm.

"I thought of getting a kneazle as well, but I think Wasabi would be hurt by that. She would not like me giving my attention to someone else," she said as she giggled at Wasabi's blinking face.
