Cameron frowned at his question? That would've gotten her in a LOT of trouble. "What!? Nuuuuuuu! I didn't even say anything .. oh.. I said HI! and then walked off 'cos her eyes had a scary glint in them and she decided to incarcerate me - from BEHIND!" Her voice had risen from a whisper to a harsh stage-whisper. She wasn't a happy-chappy.
"Wish I had though.." She muttered annoyed.
The red-head shrugged, "She's freaking mental! I can now differentiate between insane and weird. I'm weird, she's insane. I certainly wouldn't go around hurting people.. cept maybe those 'Claws..."" She mumbled into his chest.
She let out a watery giggly at Oliver's.. erm.. cackle? "I suppose.. I probably shouldn't have thrown her wand away.. that was kinda mean.." Yeah.. so was ending up face first on the floor for NUU reason and being magically attacked from behind!
The corner of her mouth tugged up in a smile at Oliver's description of bag-pipes. Stoopid Evil!Girl and her stooopid bad playing.
Sweeeeeeeeeet. That was how she could explain it. Comforting and warm and gooey. She smiled as she watched him open his eyes when she'd pulled away. He didn't seem to be able to speak. She blinked confused. "Er.. Oliver?" OHH! *snicker* "Su.. have you decided if the Welsh kiss well? Or are you still debating?"Smiiiiiiiiiiirk.
Only Cameron could possibly go from sobbing to teasing Oliver in less than 5 flat.
Awww.. but Oliver was adorable. Looking down at her dress, she mumbled, "Thank-you.. again. I don't know what I'd do without you sometimes.."
In her time at Hogwarts, Mozzie hadn't dated. Oh, sure, she'd fraternized with Quentin. He was the one who never was - a best friend to this day, but once he was the first boy Mozzie had liked. So, being back in Hogwarts with a boy was sort of odd. In a good way. The kind of way which made her heart flutter about. This could just have been because she was a bit of a sappy sap and being around Tristan filled her with warm fuzzies.
It didn't help that he'd been away so long. But being reunited with Tristan was enough to endure his absence. It wasn't as if she was alone while he was gone, anyway, and she always had his letters to look forward to. But it was much better here on his arm, though.
Mozzie's face lit up with a bright grin and she fluttered her lashes at her date. "Why thank-you, Tristan. You look quite dashing yourself," she added, biting her lower lip and twisting in place. Then, with a softer smile, she nodded at Tristan. "It's really, really great to be here with you, too," she confessed out loud. "I really missed you. I know you've got a really great reason for returning to your travels but..."
Mozzie trailed for a moment, trying to phrase the words properly. She didn't want to sound selfish or bratty but she also wanted him to understand. And it was a difficult balance. Ordinarily, Mozzie would just have blurted out her thoughts, but Tristan made her act different, for the better.
"I just hope you enjoy your Quest and remember what's waiting for you back here," she settled with, tucking her lower lip between her teeth again.
Why did she do that? Did Mozzie not know the effect he had on her? Tristan smiled amused. The way she bit her lip was another one of the adorable things she did. "Thankyou." But he felt himself feeling a blush coming on, as if this was their first time out together - like their little picnic at their gran's 'camping' place. Hopefully, there were no baskets or equally small things for Mozzie or anyone else to fall into and get trapped by a freaky deep bottom.
But when she continued, Tristan looked into her eyes and felt a slight pang of sadness. He really hadn't wanted to leave her, and he would have been happy for her to come with him, but he knew she had a life an occupation to work for. Getting concerned at her pause, he was about to ask her what was on her mind, but figured he should give her time.
And then it came, the words that brought him more comfort than anything had for a long time. He slowly put a hand to her cheek and smiled crookedly. "I can't say I am enjoying anything that makes me be far away from you..." He hoped she knew that. "You'll always have my heart, for aslong as you want to keep it." That is... he wouldn't blame her if she found herself another...'Prince Charming'.
With that said, he leaned in and softly kissed her on the forehead.
How would they continue from here? He felt like he needed to aplogize, and he would...but not now. Tristan didn't want to ruin this amazing night with something that had brought him so very down all those months ago. His hand left her cheek as he took her's. "I really...want to talk to you about this...but," this sounded so lame, "I really want us to have fun tonight." Now he was the one chewing the inside of his lower lip and looking at her with uncertainty.

Would she mind terribly?
Deep inside, Mozzie had a sappy hopeless romantic waiting to break free. She'd never allowed said sappy romantic out, because there'd never been need. Romance books were hidden in the school dorm, sappy movies watched at home, but Mozzie kept her otherwise tightly under wraps. But here, in the Entrance Hall to the Ball - of all places - she felt herself losing the battle against that silly sapper within her.
It was possibly the way Tristan spoke; he had a silly formality to him which none of the males she'd spent her life with possessed. It could have been the way he held himself; he always seemed much more Princely than her motely crew of friends. It could have been that crooked grin, that hand on her cheek, the general adorable that was Tristan. It also could have been that he kissed her forehead.
Mozzie had always secretly adored forehead kisses. Melt melt meltmeltmelt.
Who even said things like that? You'll always have my heart, for as long as you want to keep it. The dizzy building in her head was probably the onset of a swoon.
Delivering a squeeze to Tristan's hand, Mozzie smiled warmly. He looked so uncertain, so nervous. Did he think she would demand they talk about it now? Even she didn't want to think of such depressing matters as him leaving for his Quest after the ball. She wanted to make the most of every moment she could spend with him.
"Of course," she assured him. "We've got time. And we've got tonight. We should go mingle and have fun. I think my friend Mari should be here. I just want to enjoy my time with you, anyway."
It wasn't as if she had much time with him anymore. Not lately.
Stretching on her toes, she kissed his cheek.
"Let's have a night to remember which doesn't involve fire or being trapped or attacked by rabid hobo pygmy puffs." She chuckled and then squeezed his hand again.

Apparently repeating what she'd just said made him feel slightly less idiotic. He'd been here less than an hour and already managed to botch social norms. It seemed like she hadn't seen him in forever!! .... Mabey it had been forever?? Oh well. She could see him now.
Jimbo felt a tap on his shoulder and turned around only to find Leilani grinning up at him. "Hey, you!" He gave her a big bear hug and then stood back to take a look at her dress. "You look great! Like a proper lady. Not someone you'd suspect would throw a dungbomb. Good job cleaning up, Leilani." He laughed and gave her a friendly nudge. "So are you here with anyone? Or are you flying solo like The Farley?"
Though queasy feeling of having apparated still lingered there in the bottom of her stomach, it was nothing compared to how her stomach did a few of acrobatic jumps and twirls upon entering the great hall. Everything just looked exactly the same, and it was though... time hadn't really passed. The only difference about the hall was, in reality, the fact that everyone seemed to have rejected the idea of looking like an ape tonight, and had, therefore, bothered to take a shower.
In order to hide her slight discomfort, Willow lifted her chin and ordered her default 'I judge you because I'm uninterested' expression on her pale face.
"Well."
Her fingers curled a little bit on the fabric of her date's jacket.
It had been years since he'd returned to Hogwarts, or even given it much thought. The three years he'd spent there were a blip in his memory but... he frowned almost imperceptibly, it was all just so damned familiar.
Nikolai Vannacutt turned his head slightly towards Willow as she spoke that one, ridiculously fatalistic sounding word.
"Indeed." He lifted an eyebrow and escorted her towards the main room, where they'd have to pass what looked like an army. Right. Pleasantries.
Jacques adjusted his jacket as he and his wife Julia entered the entrance hall. It was good to be back in the old school again, and Jacques inhaled deeply. Yup, still smelled the same.
"You okay there, mon cherie?" he asked the beautiful woman around whom he currently had his arm.

The young woman gently gripping her husband's arm had instinctively taken a deep breath the moment they entered the castle, too. To be honest, that smell was... kind of frightening, but wonderfully welcoming at the same time. "Yeah, I think I'll be all right," Julia Beaumont gave a slight head nod. "It hasn't changed a bit. Glad to see the Ministry hasn't tried to intervene recently."
She took a moment to adjust her dress. It was very simple, very basic. Julia had never been one to wear skirts and dresses - everyone would remember that, for sure. She had grown up quite a bit, however, and she knew how to be classy and mature. No cape.
"Et toi?" Julia responded, looking up at her... absolutely stunning husband. Was he as nervous as she was? There were so many of her classmates she was eager to see. Kay, Angel, Mithos, all of her past Quidditch teammates. Hopefully some of them would be here, right? And then... Lainey.
Yep, the idea of seeing Lainey again made her stomach tie in knots.

Jacques smiled indulgently at his wife, before looking up and around the hall. He was definately taller than when he last walked through here, and the view, while familiar, was different. He wondered for a moment whether he wished he was still in school, but decided he wouldn't give away the last few years for anything. Life after school was an adventure, and Jacques had the best companion for that adventure.
"I am wonderful, dear. Shall we move into ze Party? I wonder if our old friends will be inside, and if they look as good as we do after so many years" he said, with a slight chuckle at the end.

Julia took Jacques's arm once again and lifted her head a bit higher. "Let's hope some of my friends' husbands are remotely attractive. Not everyone is as fortunate as I am, and there's a good chance that I'll feel bad that they don't compare to the man I've got right here." She nudged his side playfully, enjoying the brief build up of his ego - even at the expense of her old friends. But it was behind their backs and hypothetical, so maybe that made a difference...?
Hm.
"Lead the way, mon amour," she finally declared, gripping his arm a bit tighter. The thought of strolling back into a sea of old classmates and showing them that they were still together and married, even, brought a smile to her heart.

Leilani hugged him back. It was good to see him again.
She laughed at his remark. "Gee thanks." she laughed, and rolled her eyes. "You too, nice monkey-suit." haha. Monkey suit. At least his was polkadotted. That took some of the stupidness away from having to wear one.
Lani shook her head. "Nah, I'm here by myself." Okay so it looked about like half the people here were dateless. Huh. Did the teachers have dates? Shudder. Don't wanna know.
Oliver grimaced. It wasn't an accusation, he just needed to get his facts straight before he ran in there all... er.. wands a-blazin'. Incarcerus? Girl was insane - clearly. “Relax, Cam. I was just askin'.” He pulled her closer and kissed her forehead not mentioning the fact that he would having a little chat with the Slytherin girl sometime soon.
Meh.. if she had said that, she probably wouldn't be sitting here now given Raven's temper.
Weird... eccentric. Bleh.. at least Cameron was endearing with it... not like that weird smelly hag who lived down the road from his brother Ewan. He smirked when she mumbled about the Claws. Now that particular obsession of hers WAS weird. Heh.
“I don't think it was mean.” He said softly. “She would have hexed you as soon as your back was turned if you hadn't. You did the right thing, love.” Love again? o___________________o He HAD to stoppit with that!
The kiss was lovely. Welcoming, warm and calming. Oliver sighed contently, only coming back to reality when Cameron spoke. His lips curled upwards into a smile. “Well seeing as I haven't got much to compare it to...” He shrugged, then smirked. He couldn't do that. “Yeah.. I'd say the Welsh are good kissers.” Hehe! He blushed a little but the smirk remained in place, mirroring the look on Cameron's face. Yeah.. they were quite well suited she and he.
“Does that look mean you're feeling better?” He asked. Aww... he was so touched by her words. No-one had ever said anything like that to him before. It pulled at his heart that someone could make him feel so happy. “I could say the same for you.” He murmured in reply. He patted her back. “So you gonna move your butt so we can enjoy the rest of the evening?” Smile.

The red-head shrugged. She didn't particularly care. The girl was a nut and was lost to reality. Smiling as he pulled her close, she wrapped her arms around his waist. "I know, I know. She just makes me reeeeeeeally peeved." And that was an understatement.
He didn't think it was mean? Cam smiiirked. "I happen to have morals.. and other.. stuff.. ergh, I just.. meh.. she probably deserved it." No, she DEFFZ deserved it.
Cameron grinned. Their usual tone of conversation was a great turn from her emotional hailstrom before. She bit her lip as she pulled back. It was the kind of kiss that made you want more. Raising an eyebrow at Oliver's reply, the Gryffindor responded, "Oh, I'm suuuure.
The smirk firmly situated on her expression, she winked, "Good answer."
Feeling better? Yep. She was muuuch better now. *nodnod* The girl shrugged, "Usually you're saving me.." She pulled him in for a hug and nodded. "I believe you offered me a dance?"

Tristan smiled at Mozzie and squeezed her hand back, so very happy to see her smiling like that. He had missed her smile.
He hoped his comment hadn't sounded like he thought Mozzie only wanted to talk about his quest tonight...it had sort of been his way of convincing himself that that heavy cloud over him would go away for just tonight - because clearly there was sunshine in his life right now.
They did have time...that is, if she still wanted to spend her time with him after the Ball. He sure wanted to. Oh, he didn't want anything else. He nodded at her and smiled. "Mingling...that we can do." Hehe. And Mari was here? It was...her friend? Gulp. Why did he suddenly feel nervous? It was as if they were at the Mozzie Christmas party and all her friends had been there...and he sort of imagined they would keep their eye on him. Hehe. He would definitely have kept an eye on himself ;D "Oh, that's great. Should we go see if we can find her? Or..." he smiled mischievously, "Would you like to have some...cake?" Oh...yum. Hehe. Either way, "M'Lady." He gave her a curteous nod, and then he gestured towards the ballroom. "Shall we?" Yay!
Her kind gesture made him smile warmly at her. "Thankyou." Hehe.
And then the fire and their little day was brought up... Oh gosh. He grimaced, put a hand to his face and shook it. "You're never going to forgive me for that, are you?" He chuckled softly, still making a face of embarrassement. "I-is your nan still terribly upset about that?" Ugh... He DID offer to help with the renovation, but he could imagine the elder lady did not want him touching anything that could destroy her home even further. Errr.
Putting a hand to his chest, he bowed his head low. "Oh, fair lady, please tell me how to make it up for that..." Amazingly stupid moments of his? "...lack of intelligence on my part." Heeeeeeeeh!
Hehehe.
Oh how he liked their silly formalness.
And the pygmypuffs? "How are the pygmypuffs doing?" He smiled amused. That part and onwards, he remembered, had been nice.
Well...until they talked. But after that - bliss.

Leilani laughed and nodded. "Yes, and your pink tie." For most of what he said she just nodded. Who needed a date anyways? Psh.
"Yeah, the food table'd be great!" at that, he stomach growled in agreement. See? She was hungry. Hopefully there was cake. Mmmmm, cake!! At Jimbo's offer to escort her, she agreed. "Sure Jimbo, you can be my escort."
[COLOR="Teal"]Speaking of Vanessa saying she hadn't seen anyone since graduation, Amelia hadn't either really. Except for Tancred. But there - standing in the entrance hall - was one of her fellow graduates of the Class of 2066. The redhead did not know the girl particularly well, but she did know of her. And as they graduated together, that still called for a REUNION!
"Hermy Smythe?! Is that you?!" Mia said, eyes lighting up at the sight of the Ravenclaw. Of course it was; she did have some weird gift for remembering people.
She thought she'd being doing an okayish job of being inconspicuous, when someone called her name. She recognised the sound, but only clicked with who it was when she saw the face.
"Mia!" she exclaimed as she saw the Huffie. "And yep, the one and the same," she answered, finally stopping fiddling with her dress. Why hadn't she thought to make the fabric a bit less showy? Probably because she didn't know she'd be modelling it - especially in front of old classmates. Hmm. Anyways, someone friendly had remembered her - woot! And at that thought, Hermy relaxed a bit.
"It looks like life's been keeping you well since graduation. What you up to nowadays?" Hermy had been rubbish keeping up to date with everyone...anyone really. She'd even lost contact with Finn. And so she was interested in what people had got upto in life since they'd left Hogwarts.
Really peeved? Aww.. that sounded so cute... and the biggest understatement of the century given the redhead's stereotypical temper. Oliver wrinkled his nose. “I think you're being rather generous there.” He chuckled lightly.
“Are you saying I have no morals, Ms Haddock?” Merlin that stupid name took him back. Hammy Haddock. Didn't Cameron admit to despising him that day? Meh.. who cares now – she'd obviously got over it.
What was with the sarcastic retort? It was true! But.. Cam could believe what she wanted. Hehe! Good answer? He smirked and kissed her on the end of her cute ickle nosey nose.
He pondered her words. “You just don't seem to be able to avoid trouble.” He chuckled bringing the words to mind about a pots, kettles and blackness. “'S that Gryffie side of me. I can't help it. My mum was a Gryffindor you know?” Yep.. and she turned out to be the biggest coward Oliver knew suuuuu best not go there.
He raised an eyebrow and eyed the Gryffie with mock suspicion. “I had to practically beg you to get out there before. What's changed?” Near death experiences involving the girl named after those scary looking birds?

Cameron crossed her arms over her chest and pouted. "Well, whaddeva." Stoopid Bagpipe!Girl.
It was a shame she was so much taller than her - even in her heels Cam could'n't have punched her. Slapping was altogether a different thing. She hoped that red mark stayed FOREVER. As a reminder of sorts.
Cam gave him a look .Was he REALLY asking her that question and expecting a straight answer? "'Course you are, Ollie. You are so full of morals that you burst out with chivalry and selflessness and kindness." Was that a bit too much sarcasm? "How did you come up with name anyway? I don't have 'h's in my name.." Weird, weird boy.
She looked up at him through her lashes as he kissed her nose. Aww! Dat was kyute. Her nose scrunched up and she smiled, "I likey."
The Gryffindor crossed her arms over her chest and pouted. This was becoming a standardised reaction. "It FOOOLLLOWS me Oliver. It DOES!" She said, darkly and seriously. "I'm pretty sure it's because your around so much." She grinned cheekily and winked.
*sigh* It was only possibly for Hammy to rebound from something this quickly.
Pfff! Can't help it. "Yeah, yeah. You play that side up because it get's you the lahdies. I'm watching you!" She wagged her finger at him and then giggled. "Aw, but .. I'm innocent!" Ha. Suuure. "Shush you, now that I don't really care if I stomp on your feet or not, I'll be fine." Wasn't she lovely? Heh.
Oliver raised a brow. What was that supposed to mean? He was being nice. Meh. Oliver wouldn't have blamed Cam if she'd snapped the girl's wand to be honest. But still, that would have been going a bit far.
Was that... sarcasm? Hehe! Course it was, but Oliver decided to take it all as amazing compliments.. because he was just that, wasn't he? Amazing. He puffed out his chest. “You're too kind.” He said donning a stupid posh English Accent. But seriously, if you actually cared to look beyond the sarcasm and general all round annoying obnoxiousness, Oliver was chivalrous and did stick up for the underdog. Just look what happened with Dillon when he went all psycho on Sarah's butt that day in class. And what did he get in thanks, eh? A nephew who would barely look at him these days. Bleh. Family. Were. Crap.
Puzzlement crossed his featured at her question. “Suuu.. there's no T's, W's or A's in my first name but that's never stopped you before. Poke. “Hammy suits you. It's... cute. Just like you.”
He smiled when she scrunched her nose up. Aww. How sweet was that? “I likey too.” He murmured. Blehhhhhhh! Pass the sick bucket!
Pffft. “Whatev.” He said and mirrored the girl's body language – course he was teasing but ya know. “Was I there when that duel broke out on Diagon Alley? No. Was I there when she hexed you from behind? Again, no. In fact, I can safely say that NO ONE has ever cast a spell at me from behind.” Nope – Oliver was far too loved by his peers for that. Snort.
He shrugged. “I think the snake side appeals more.” He smirked. “Everyone knows those Gryffindor chicks love a boy in green.” hehe! Naughteh.
Ok.. so she wanted to dance and Oliver certainly wasn't going to argue. He made to stand and took Cam by the hand to help her up. “Come on then.” He smiled. “And if you're going to stand on my feet, try and make it delicate, rather than a 'stomp' as you so put it.” Smirrrrrrrk.
Emalyn returned the girl's wave before she walked out of sight. It always puzzled her how she could have so many fellow students in Hufflepuff and yet never really...officially meet them. Hmm. She must work on that.
Oh yes, it was DEFINITELY Vannah!! Ema beamed as Vannah, now really quite grown up, wrapped her in a hug. She squeezed her tightly and - what was this? She was not used to hugging her and not feeling like a midget. It was like a flashback...only with Ema wearing 7 inch heels. Hehe. Her first reaction was to say 'you look OLD', but assuming that might not go over the best, she stayed away from that comment. Only four years difference since she saw her last, right?
She let out a small squeal as Vannah released her and held her before her, the grin never leaving. She wiped her eyes conciously. No, she wasn't crying, but she was afraid she might. In joy, of course! "Well look at YOU, too! You're like..."Not Old, Ema. "...all...un-student-like? What are you, twenty one, twenty two?" she asked, excitement written plain across her face. So excited, in fact, that she forgot never to ask a woman her age. But that was just for guys...right? Heh heh.
"I've been..." she paused for a moment. There were a few crazy terms...actually all of them pretty much were...and home life was going just as crazy, but other than that - "I've been well." she nodded, the smile returning. "How about you? What have you been doing? Where do you live? Do you miss Hogwarts? ARE YOU MARRIED?!"
Ahem. It was a valid question.
Oh dear, was Ema crying?! Savannah composed herself for a moment, just long enough to truly see that she was in fact tear free - for now, at least - and looked as happy as she felt. Her comment made Vannah laugh, "Un-student-like, I like that. I just turned twenty-two!" She said matter-of-factly, beaming at the younger girl. Of course, it never crossed Savannah's mind that most women wouldn't answer the age question; to her it was just a normal, curious, catching-up-with-an-old-school-friend thing and most definitely nothing out of the ordinary. "And you're.. oh my, you're about to be of age, aren't you? Next term is your last year?" That old saying 'time flies' held so much truth and meaning.
A curious look washed over Savannah's face as Emalyn mused, trying to find words to describe how she had been, she was sure. Life and education at Hogwarts in particular was often rather hard to put into words. "Well that's good!" Vannah nodded happily, pleased it did sound as though things were running at least a bit smoothly in the girl's life and the castle wasn't in utter chaos.
Chuckling, Savannah gave another small nod as Ema asked several questions, she waited patiently before speaking, a warm smile forming on her lips. "After school I went into training to became a Creature Healer, which I discovered was my dream during the last couple of years here in this castle. I've just recently completed my training, in fact." She paused a moment, letting that sink in and gather more words and in what order she was going to answer those questions. "Do you remember the boy I told you about when you were this small," Savannah held a hand out at about the height Ema had been during those first two years. "Curtis Diggory? I don't think you two ever had the chance to meet like I had hoped; NEWTS were awfully time consuming. He proposed at the end of our seventh year and we married not too long after school ended. We live in Bristol with our one-year-old daughter, Hayley, and if you're not too busy I would love for you to come visit when you're out of school!"

The sound from the great hall could already be heard and Lex couldn't be more excited to see some of her old friends.
Of course she had to wear a dress here..but that was okay because she was more excited about everything else than to worry about the dress. As she noticed a glimmer of yellow Lex made her way past current and former students until she was behind her Hufflepuff friend. She was so glad that Vannah was wearing that it was SO much easier to spot. "RAWWRR" She yelled in her ear. Gryffindor pride!!!
With so many people wandering the entrance hall, Savannah thought nothing of it when she heard someone behind her. She hadn't the first clue exactily how close they were until 'they' went all 'Gryffindor' very loudly right into her ear. She would have known that voice anywhere, even uttering a RAWR. Savannah should have seen it coming after eleven years of Alexis trying to scare her into a heart attack; it was on that Hogwarts goals list the lion had made during second year, one of few things that went unfinished and the only one that was even possible to do.
So naturally, being back at Hogwarts and feeling almost as if things hadn't truly changed much since they were students (expect for starting a career, getting married and having a child - except for that), Savannah made a quick decision based on old times sake, because this was likely to be the last time they would be visiting their former school. Giving a mock gasp, the young woman who had absolutely zero acting skills put a hand over her heart and crumbled to the floor, trying to be careful and realistic at the same time, Vannah failed miserably at both and laid lamely at Lexi's feet, wincing when her hand clumsily made contact with the wall.

Aaaaand someone was yelling her name. Savannah didn't have to look up to know it was Amelia, another very close friend. She resisted the urge to laugh and tried to stop the corners of her mouth from twitching upward - another failed attempt, of course. Vannah peeked an eye open before whispering, "Pssst, Lex. Can I get up now?" Hopefully no one was paying them any attention.

She had just realized he had called her Cub and not Kaitlynnh, usually that would have gotten him yelled at but right then, it was a good sign. He wasn't mad at her?
"You.. got dressed up," Katie observed, slowly making her way over to him. She went to his side and leaned back against the wall, folding her hands behind her as she admitted with a sideways glance at the green-eyed boy, "I didn't think you would."

OH! Had Savannah been talking to that girl? Oops. Before Lex could apologize the Hufflepuff gasped, clutched her chest and fell to the floor.
Wait....was she dead? "YAAAAAY!! IT FINALLY WORKED!" Alexis cheered loudly. AHA Savannah had gotten a heart attack. Finally. Finally. FINNNALLY after years of trying....wait...she didn't want her to die. Who would take care of Hayley? Who would help her with her candy? Who would she go to when she was bored and there was nothing to do!? There were a number of people that could do all those things or that she could go to but they weren't SAVANNAH. Lex vaguely noticed as Savannah winced from her arm coming in contact with the hard stone wall. OHH so she was acting!
Kneeling down (which was a lot harder to do in a dress than in pants) her green eyes gazed at Savannah on the ground until she saw her chest move just a bit. "Silly Badger you are breathing." Lex said grinning as she poked Vannah's side.

Standing up she straighten her dress and turned as she heard someone else call Vannah's name. It was a red head it- NOO it was that red head. "Hi crazy Badger Mia!!" Alexis yelled grinning. When was the last time she had seen Mia? Man that was hard to remember. They had, had so much fun like that time when she turned the disgusting House Elf into clown Mia. Gooood times. Good times.

Legend looked around. So...she wasn't coming? She wasn't here? His eyes looked around for anyone else maybe Danny, or Jae or Mat..or..Landon?
Hearing a familiar voice he let go of the breath that he wasn't even aware he had been holding. Legend made a motion as if to brush his hair out of his eyes, but then he remembered that he had in fact cut it and his vision was no longer blocked. The motion was so natural that it felt weird not to do it. "Yeah...we were suppose to right? Do I look like a clown?!?" Legend looked at down and tried to see if there was anything funny looking about what he was wearing. "Why didn't you think I'd get dressed up?" He was determined to be nice to Katie. Yup. Nice. It was important. No more big fights.
Looking at her finally as she leaned agaisnt the wall he smirked. "You got dressed up. I didn't think you would." Legend mimicked. Smiling he stepped away from the wall. "You like nice, pretty, like a girl. Come on let's go in side and find the others." Looking over to where his sister had went he noticed..Savannah laying on the ground? That was odd. Oh well he'd have to give her a hug later.

It took everything for Savannah not to start laughing as Alexis cheered happily about her accomplishment. It had taken years to do even if she was playing around; her excitement wasn't a surprise to the former Hufflepuff, she had expected it. Though, Lexi was being a bit loud.. that was normal, Vannah just hoped everyone around else were busy with catching up with old friends and gazing at the decorations and things to notice anything out of the norm.
Then again, this was Hogwarts. Was any thing or any one truly normal within the ancient school?
Alexis' voice was closer than before, and quieter, she noticed. Between being informed she was still breathing and being poked, Vannah started giggling, raising a hand to muffle the noise. Calming down, the brunette stared up as Lex stood straight again, greeting Mia from afar. Her smile grew when her best friend's green eyes found her own blue ones and she proceeded to warn her against getting up, "Aw, but Huffledor! The stone floor is cold and I'm in a dress," and people were probably staring as they walked by, wondering why on earth she was laying on the ground. "I'm getting up," Savannah added, pushing herself up into a sitting position and brushed off her dress as she went to stand.
Legend trying to brush hair that was no longer hanging in his eyes as it usually would be reminded Katie of her trying to twist a currently non-existant curl out of habit earlier. It felt weird not to have curly hair, Katie was learning she didn't care for the straight dark locks very much. "I suppose so and no, you don't look like a clown." Katie mused, watching him check out his outfit again as if he wasn't sure anymore. At his question she shrugged, a hint of amusement from his last reaction reaching her tone. "I don't know, I don't think I've ever seen you all dressed up."
Katie's dark eyes narrowed playfully as he mimicked her, she stuck her tongue out in a childish manner, not particularly caring who may or may not see it because Legend was being goofy and she couldn't think of how else to respond. An eyebrow raised when he sort of.. kind of, - was that a compliment? Or..?! "Uhm, thank you. I think?" Well he was smiling, so maybe it was a sincere comment. Still not knowing what to think of it, Katie let it go and pushed away from the wall and took a small step foward, waiting for Legend. "Alright then, lets go."

Having left the food table, Grayson tried to think of where she might find Raven. Something told her the Slytherin would appreciate the prank she'd done, and even possibly what had happened after she'd thought she'd been caught. It really was pretty funny, now that she thought about it, and she was happy to know her ability to avoid trouble still existed. Even though she was fairly sure Professor Vindictus had really only let her off the hook, not that he'd actually believed she hadn't done anything. He'd mentioned the fact she'd dropped the vial into the planter after all, even though he hadn't asked about it after that. Part of why she thought he'd had some sort of sneaky reason for not actually taking points away, or giving her detention, or any of the possibilities.
Wondering a little about if Mr. Masterson was still babbling in the hall, she went back out to the entrance hall. It had been the last place she'd seen raven, and besides, people had to be filtering out of there into the ball anyway. So if the Slytherin was still around, it might be easier to find her. Or at least maybe she could figure out what to do with the goblet of pumpkin juice still in her hand. She wasn't sure if she trusted Professor Vindictus not to have purposely given her some of the juice that she'd spiked with her potion. Stopping once she'd fully gotten into the area, she purposely ignored Legend, who she'd seen heading into the Great Hall, and glanced around at the others who were still hanging around. It seemed like it was almost all older people, and she sighed a little.
