Charms Lesson 2: Underwater Adventures
|
Alexandrie Malfoy-Lupin entered the classroom smiling she glanced around realising the Professor was hidding a part of the classroom probably something about what they would do doing, "Hello Professor." Alex greeted, she felt comfortable with this Professor compared to the others say the Transfiguration one. Alex took a seat in the same spot as last time setting her books down and taking out a piece of parchment and quill along with the ink. |
Noir walked into the charm classroom..when she entered the classroom still empty and she didn't see Professor Carlton.."Maybe I'm just to early" she thought and Noir decided to take a seat in the second row |
Ivory had just crossed the threshold into the Charms classroom when she stopped short. Well short in place since as it was everyone knew that the small girl was a tad on the height impaired side. Or as she liked to say, Not abnormally tall like you people. But that was neither here nor there, for the reason she stopped had nothing to do with her height and more to do with the disappearance of all the kitchen stuff she'd so enjoyed last lesson. And of course the appearance of a big glaringly obvious white curtain over a part of the room. Her body automatically took a sneaky stance and what she wanted more than anything in the world at that moment was to satisfy her curiosity and look behind the curtain. As far as she could tell, Lady Carlton wasn't around and not many others for that matter...so maybe it if she just took a quick peek... But alas it was not to be. For as soon as Ivory began inching herself towards the curtain, more students began to arrive. Sighing in resignation, she decided that if something was covered then it was a surprise. And if it was surprise...well she liked surprises and she liked the professor so out of respect for the professor and the subject and surprises she would just take a seat. Okay, fine it was a seat suspiciously at the front of the classroom right next to the curtain but she was going to be good and wait patiently. After a few seconds of swinging her legs under the desk however, she realized that wasn't quite so easy so after digging into her book bag and getting out her charms textbook, she decided she'd what she always did when she didn't know what else to do. She'd read. |
Her other favorite class was begining and there was nooooo way she was gonna miss it. Skipping into the classroom, she glanced around noticing a few things. One that she was early, and two that it didn't look like a kitchen any more, though that's not what held her eye. It was the big white sheet or more importantly what was hiding it. Taking a seat in the front beside her bestie, she placed her bag on the table and chewed on a piece of gum while she twirled her wand, waiting patiently for the professor to arrive. |
Mina quietly made her way into to the Charms classroom and headed for the front. She was early and with her back facing the door, she wouldn't really have to see certain people walk in together. The though was almost enough to back her sick again. Pulling out her text, she started to flip through it as she waited. |
Fletcher strolled into Charms and noticed the white curtain right away. The boy's attention was almost solely focused on the curtain as he picked out a seat and he was so tempted to just march over there and yank it back to see what it was hiding.... It reminded him a bit of the mysterious tapestry from the fourth floor. |
Iris loved charms, but she wasn't sure what to expect of this lesson. The notice board had mentioned underwateryness... Iris didn't like the sound of that, at all. No she didn't. Walking into the classroom, Iris looked around for the professor to say hullo to her, but Iris couldn't see the professor anywhere. There was just a big, white curtain, that was just SO out of place. It was weird. After quickly reading the board, Iris took a seat near the front of the class, and shoved her bag under her seat. Now. She waited. |
Carter entered the classroom and took a seat near the middle. He was excited for another charms lesson. He noticed the curtain and wondered what it was for. |
Christopher James sauntered into the Charms classroom and with all honesty felt a twinge of satisfaction that there were no womanly kitchen things involved in this lesson. Not that he hadn't enjoyed the previous one, mind you those cupcakes had fed his sweet tooth for many a day and he was probably going to make a stop to the Charmed Kitchen later on to make another batch, but for now he had to admit he felt like learning something different. Like learning whatever was behind that white curtain. He'd never been one to like hidden things and that curtain was most definitely hiding something. But the class was probably going to start any second now so there was no point in seeing what was behind it now. Better to wait until later. For now he chose to find a seat at the front and of course near the elusive white curtain. Or at least he was until he noticed that the ones closest to the curtain at the front were taken. Not only taken, but taken by the two girls he remembered from way back when, once upon a hilarious time in Diagon Alley. Stifling a chuckle, he sat himself down behind the-girl-whose-supply-list-he'd-taken (as he referred to her since that fateful day) and leaned forward a bit to see if she'd notice him. Probably give an indignant sniff and move to another seat if he was lucky- What in the world? His thoughts stopped suddenly. The class hadn't even started yet and already this 'claw was reading. Well at least he knew where that reputation came from. Man was she trying to make them all look bad. For a second, he wrestled getting out his own book and then decided against it. He would just wait for the Professor, along with everyone else. Leaning back in his seat, he glared at the white curtain. Whatever was behind that curtain better be worth him curbing his curiosity for it. |
The first thing Tori noticed was that the class wasn't a kitchen anymore, then she saw the curtains and excitement bubbled inside her as she wondered what they would be doing in class today. Charms was always something to look forward to no matter how obvious or subtle the lesson seemed. She turned to greet her professor but didn't see her anywhere. Deciding to take her seat, she moved across the room to find a desk to sit at as her curious eyes continued to comb over the curtains hoping to catch a glimpse of what was to come. |
Delilah walked into the classroom and sat in an empty seat. She couldn't help but wonder what was behind the white curtain but she finally gave up and got ready for class to start. |
Jacob made his way quickly towards the classroom. As he walked in, he was rather suprised to see that the professor wasn't there... oh well. Then he was even more shocked when he realized that the classroom seem to have shrunk a tiny bit. Hmmm... interesting. He looked over at the board and took a seat. Jacob looked around once more to see who was here, and there was the answer to the shrinking room. A curtain, blocking a part off... maybethe professor didn't like bigger rooms... or maybe ther was something behind it. Just a glance around it wouldn't hurt anyone... NO! Bad idea! |
Today was an alright day so far! Evelyn was in a good mood and, well, charms class wasn't so bad. At least this year it wasn't. Walking into the room, she took note of the layout, seeing the they probably wouldn't be cooking today, thank Merlin since she was all baked out at the moment. However, she was just as curious about the white curtain as probably everyone else was...only she took a seat in the back of the room, opposite of the curtain. Out of safety reasons of course. |
Kate entered the classroom and saw a giant white curtain throughout one side of the room... aha..odd...letīs see what happens today... She searched for an empty place and sat down. |
Sidney makes her way to the Charm Class ready to get to work. She walks in and notices a closed white curtain cutting off part of the class. I thought this was Charms Class. Do they teach Drama here at Hogwarts? This is definitely weird. Sidney finds a seat near the curtain and sits down. She takes her wand out of its holster and places it on the the desk. Sidney then takes out her Charms textbook, ink, quill, and parchment out of her bag. She sits quietly waiting for Professor Charlton to show up. I can't wait to hear her explanation for the white curtain. |
Vashti walked into the Charms classroom, pausing when she noticed the big white curtain. What in the world is behind there? Still eyeing the mysterious curtain, she quickly found a seat and start rummaging in her bag, searching for her notebook and pencil in case they took notes. |
Maddie walked into the classroom smiling. She looked around, notincing that the classroom had been returned to normal. Maddie noticed that the Poffessor was not here yet. That's strange. she thought, but took a seat on th front row of desks. She pulled her books out of her bag, and set them neatly on the table, along with her quill and gold inkpot. There. Ready for the lesson. |
Jay walked into the classroom and saw Maddie he went and sat down next to her, "Wonder what happens this lesson?" he asked, Getting his quill. |
Maddie smiled at Jay politely, but didn't respond. She didn't want to get in trouble for talking. What if she lost points for it? So she just nodded, and looked at the curtain. There was obviously something behind it... but what? |
Selena entered the classroom. She took a seat quietly and glanced at the curtain? Was the professor hiding behind it or something? Eh. she wondered why it was there, but she'd find out later... |
Grayson bounced into the Charms classroom for the second lesson, onyl stopping once she saw the professor wasn't there, and a big white curtain was. Huh. Interesting, she thought as she made her way to an empty seat. She was tempted to find out what would happen if she used that color changing charm they'd learned at the beginning of last lesson on the curtain, but she couldn't decide what color to use. It would be too obvious if she did her raspberry again. And nobody else seemed to be wondering about that. They were looking at the curtain, but that was it. |
A white curtain? Well you could never say lessons at Hogwarts weren't interesting. Sarah kept her eyes on the curtain as she moved over to a seat. She was half expecting a dog to pull it aside and a giant green head to emerge from behind. But, even though she was a witch, they were NOT living in the Wizard of Oz film. That would have been slightly cool though. Instead she sat, bag on floor, and rested her head on her hands, staring intently at the left side of the room. |
Haha! Evelyn was sitting in the back of the class..Carter was sitting in the middle.. Well, obviously Destiny would NOT sit next to Carter, she would sit next to Evelyn. She pulled Marie into the class and gave her a shrug. If Marie wanted to sit next to Carter, her arm was going to be all wonky, since it was pretty obvious that they would be sitting more than six feet apart. Too bad for Marie, since the rope that attached them together was only six feet. Before Marie had a chance to sit, Destiny rushed over and sat next to Evelyn. Now, what was that white curtain for? |
Nymphy walked in and found the predetermined "Hufflepuff table" that lined with other fellow house mates. He sat down and got out his wand. He was so ready for class. In preparation for class he reveiwed eer water spelled he had ever learned, including (but not limited to) Aquamenti, the Bubble head charm, Glacius, all the water Transfigurations he learned last year, and that hot air stream (not water, but still.....water vapor). Seeing his Professor, he said, "Good Morning Professor Carlton" and noded his head politely. |
