Selena cleared her throat a bit awkwardly. "Well, people inside the tank should probably know more offensive spells so that they could manage to break open the crate," Selena offered. She then leaned in towards Alex and whispered into her ear. "I can't swim," she muttered almost inaudibly to her.

Alex nodded in agreement with Selena, "Excatly why it's an older year they tend to know more charms and spells and are stronger at magic. Right..uh..Ms?" Alex asked looking unsurely at the prefect. Alex patted Selena on the back, "They won't make you go in if you don't want we'll just defend out here." Alex reassured the girl whispering right back into her ear making sure no one would overhear her.

Anyone mind if I try and organise this?
 

Maddie nodded and smiled
'OK, sure. WE'll need others too, I'll go in, if you'd like?' she said shyly. She'd always been good at organizing things


'Hey there' said Maddie, smiling still 'Can you swim, or would you prefer to stay on the ouside?'

Nymphy was confused! None of his house mates were entering the tank with him. Maybe they had devised a strategy for openig it from outside the tank.....Who knew?

He continued with his endless stream of "Relashio!", but it wasn't working. He'd have to try to find something else.....he was hoping his teammates would jump in any second.

Eiher way, he started trying harder to do something. He kicked the chest (although not the most helpful thing he tried) and started trying other spells. "Alohamora!" he cried under the icy.....depths, no...............feet? Maybe, anyways......."Alohamora Maxima!" he cried, almost going red in the face with effort. He also threw in a "Reducto!" just for good measure.

Now he really wanted someone else to come help him! Soon.........please!!!!

Jacob cast Finte on his bubble, and listened to the professors directions. This sounded completely awesome! Jacob walked towards the tank and looked around for all the Ravies. If they were going to do this they might need physical force in addition to magical spells. "I'll go in too" Jacob said to them. They would need more down in the water than outside. This was going to be so cool!

Selena gave Alex a grateful smile. "Thanks," she said. She was a bit embarrassed that she didn't know how to swim, seeing as everyone she knew did know how to. Selena looked at the crate inside the box. "Unlocking spells would be helpful too," Selena added.

'Great!' said Maddie, grinning. This was going to be totally awesome! 'We probably need a few of the fifth and sixth and seventh years in there as well. They'll know some more advanced spells to get it open...'

Alex nodded again in agreement, "Finite might help as well." Alex pitched in, "or Finite Incantem..or however you pronouce it." She smiled at Selena, "No thanks required for being a friend." Alex told Selena smiling.

Sammy walked over to what looked like the hufflepuffs. she stopped when she realized you had to get in. she thoughtI'm gonna regret this as she hopped in

Slytherin group
 

Nancy looked at the girl who was first to join her at the Slytherin tank. "Well, I guess there should be more people inside th tank. Not just one. So, well, it depends on how we plan to get that crate off whether it's better to have older or younger students inside the tank." She eyed the tank behind her for a moment and it sort of reinforced what she had just said. It definitely was big enough for more people to fit inside at the same time.

"So, are you willing to get inside the tank...?" Crap, she didn't know the girl's name. "Sorry, what's your name again?" It was only then that she noticed that she looked rather concerned. Which was why she tilted her head into the direction of another approaching Slytherin.

Hmm...offensive spells. Oh noes. Her eyes flickered back to the tank. Did the girl actually think there could be somethign dangerous below that crate? "Hmm...well, you might be right." Err...somehow she didn't know ANYBODY's name it seemed. "Sorry, I don't know your name either." She gave the girl an apologetic smile while waiting for some other Slytherins to join them. "So, I guess you don't want to be one of those who go inside the tank, right?"

"Hudonson." Nancy replied automatically, moving her attention back to the two Slytherins at the tank. "I mean, I'm Nancy." No need to call her Ms. Hudonson after all, that made her feel old and, well, weird. Err. "Oh, no, of course not. Don't worry. I'm sure we find something else for you to do which does NOT involve getting inside the tank." She smiled reassuringly at the seemingly a little scared Slytherin (Selena).

"Yes, maybe. It all depends on how we get that crade to open. But you're right, we should try unlocking spells." She eyed the tank some more, trying to figure out what to do about it. Well, they should probably get in there soon so they'd know more.

Sarah had waited all of, ooooohhhhhh, five minutes, before her bubble started to shrink.It got so close to her head that she felt the pop as it burst into little particles.At least she hadn't panicked again, though, that was a start.

But what was happening now? Bags and volunteers?

Sarah got slightly confused, as the popping noise continued to reverbarate in her ears.WAIT!! DUNG BOMBS?? The volunteers were going to release dung bombs on them.Her bubble surely wouldn't last until the smell had gone away from them! This couldn't end well, could it?

Hang on a cotton picking minute! NANCY?? Her fellow Prefect was going to throw a dumb bomb at her feet? One of her BEST FRIENDS? Okayyyy.

Shifting in her seat, Sarah got her wand ready to cast the spell, but kept her eyes on the four people holding the bombs.One twitch, even the slightest movement, and she would be swooshing around her head and praying to Merlin.

And then it happened.They released them.Gasping, Sarah quickly said the incantation and circled her head with her wand. "Viseo Ebullio!" PLEASE WORK.The bubble did appear, and it did go into place, but she was still wary of the smell getting through.After all she hadn't yet perfected it.Flinching as the waft came nearer, she closed her eyes and waited.

And then it went.Professor Carlton had banished the smell and moved on to the next part.Casting "Finite" on her bubbled head, Sarah took a deep breath of clean air, and smiled at the teacher.Ha, it worked.Cool.Now what was this about tanks? They had to - dive in and unlock the trunk? O_________o Was now a good time to say she couldn't swim? Hmmm, maybe she could do it.Or maybe she could just direct things from the outside? Yes that sounded better.

Of course she didn't see Nymphy dive in already, without the go ahead from anyone.So she stood up and waved her hand in the air. "Any Hufflepuff's, if you want to come over to me, we can work this out." Smile.

Trixie walked over to her favourite prefect, Nancy of course and offered the older girl a smile. "Hello Nancy. Is there anyway I can offer my services?" she asked. Trixie was a very helpful soul and Nancy had helped her anyway with Milo. But she was also a dedicated Slytherin and very ambitious so really wanted to join in of course. And she was probably one of the oldest slytherin students here right now so anyway she could help would be better of course.

'Does anyone actually know a spell that can do that, though? All I can think of is Gillyweed, and we don't exactly have any of that to hand...'

"Good thinking!" he said, comming up just in time to hear her suggestion. "I'll go back and try, could you try using Alohamora or something?" he said, shooting a Redutor curse toward the chest. "Or maybe you'd like to get in? I doesn't matter to me but SOMEONE should be getting in to help.....anyone?" he asked the Huffies at large.

Hewent back down and tried "Finite!" along with the medely of Charms he was already using.

Alexandrie looked at the female prefect, Hudson..or something. "If first years need to go in there, I will but Selena will not. I"m Alexandrie 'Alex' Malfoy-Lupin. First Year." Alex crossed her arms in a stubborn way.

Selena shook her head. "I'll be staying on the outside," Selena said. "My name's Selena," she said as she smiled at the prefect. "It's nice to meet you," she added. "People who are staying on the outside can kinda supply air to those on the inside. Like... if someone's charm is about to wear off, someone on the outside can try to help give them more air," Selena offered, "that is possible... right?" she asked.

Sammy looked at the guy, was he serious? he wanted her a first year who didn't know many spells to get in? "fine I'll get in" she said thinking 'why am i doing this' while she got in

Alex looked amused, "no Selena, if someone has to renew the charm they need to do the wand movement which is by tracing what is needed to be covered. Like the mouth and nose, if we're out here we can't do that." Alex told Selena smiling.

Rhea cast the finite spell removing the bubble from her face. The smell was putrid and she really hoped that it wouldn't stain her clothes. Walking around smelling like dungbomb was a definite no no.

She listened as the professor explained their next task. She turned to look around for her fellow huffies. Maybe they should group and discuss possible strategies for the task. One huffie had already volunteered himself and jumped in. Well the rest could still gather and discuss a back up plan. She turned to her house mates.
