The REAL Sorting Hat: "Ravenclaw!" This monkey is bananas.
William inclined his head back to the professor and put up his hand. "We're going to brew a hair restoration potion professor." at least he hoped they were. His little bundle of hair was sitting beside him in a baggie he had pulled out of his bag.

Sidney smiles and raises her hand. "A Hair Raising Potion, Ma'am. Sidney sure she will get a catty comment from Professor Lefay. The woman is out the get her after all. She'll probably make sure Sidney's potion fails to work.
Hearing student after student answer the almost rhetorical question made Christopher James shake his head and run a hand over his newly bald head.
It had better was all he was thinking. Although he really wasn't vain enough to throw a hissy fit about his lost hair the way some had done just a second ago he didn't really go for the whole hairless head thing. After all, the colder weather was approaching. One needed all the protection from the elements they could get. And besides his hair had been long enough that it even kept the top of his ears warm.
Deciding it was probably better to read ahead on the potion and its ingredients, since Merlin knew he really wanted to get it right, he propped open his book and read up on the use of each ingredient.
This was one professor that was just strange. Don't panic? That board should have been OUTSIDE the classroom, not inside after the hair fell out. When she heard what the professor finally asked, everyone spoke of a hair growing potion. "Yes. It better be some type of hair growing," she smarted off only hoping that it was just grow on her head and not make her look like some hairy ape or something.
Kel was sulking. He had his chin resting on his hand, and he was trying to ignore the fact that he couldn't feel ANY hair brushing against his fingers. Gah. His wonderful hair. In a pile on the floor. Being STEPPED on, probably. If only he'd had the sense to pick it up after it'd fallen out. But nooo, he'd been too preoccupied with the fact that it'd fallen out in the first place - he hadn't been worried about picking it up.
He looked silently up at the professor when she started talking, a not-so-happy look on his face. He opened his mouth to answr her question, but a bunch of other students had already done so, and Kel didn't want to look like an idiot and say the same thing everyone else had. So, instead, he started writing down notes. So far, though, there wasn't much to write.
Putting her hand up, Kay really didn't want people to look at her. Her Hair! What if Rex saw her like this. It was bad enough that Oliver was in class. "Professor will we be doing a hair Potion? Something like Sleekeazy's Hair Potion? I know that it helps to tame the hair, But is it something in that area?" Kay asked wanting to cover her head. She pulled out her Journal and started to write.

"Exactly..." she said and eyed the kid who was giving her attitude. "We are going to be brewing the Capillatum Potion." She told them and ran a hand through her hair with a smile. "Ceasar Auricomus, the great potioneer, studied and researched male and female pattern baldness. He finally came up with a cure. And this is it. So," She asked the class, "What ingredients do you think go in the potion."
Alexandrie looked around hoping someone would know, she was pretty clueless about the actual ingredients. She kept watching the board until someone answered the Professor. She also made sure she wrote what the Potion was called and who invented it.

Evelyn had no clue. She was going to say rat tails, but someone had already mentioned that. However, there was one other that could be possible that she had thought of. Maybe...maybe not... "Would mandrake be one of the ingredients?" she asked after raising her hand. Not that it made things grow but...well it had restorative properties, so why now!?
Wait...were they seriously supposed to know this. Shouldn't she tell them? She was the teacher after all. She knew this, and should share her knowledge. oh well. wait what grows hair. "maybe, Hair Follicles?" What is the point of this, is it supposed to be like basic potion knowledge?

Keeley did not like her baldness. Not one bit. But she wasn't making a fuss about it, or getting embarrassed, or- heavens forbid- crying. Why were some girls so emotional? Eep.
She was slightly worried, though. What if she messed up the potion? Shudder. But she knew the answer!! Yep yep yep! Keeley raised her hand, and asked, "Will Saw Palmetto be used?" She also had one question that she dared not even whisper. Why did Professor Lady not have to go bald?
Ericks had ran into the classroom. He knew some students weren't going to take the lesson again but he decided he would take it if just for the possibility of points. But as he ran off his hair fell of. "What in Merlin!'he yelled. And then he saw what was going on and muttering darkly sat down. He had no clue what would go in the potion but someone else had said rat tails so he replied"rat tails."
Treyen raised his hand. Hoping that this will end soon and he'll have his hair back in no time.
How was he supposed to become the next Gilderoy Lockhart WITHOUT HIS HAIR?! True. He still had the smile. But still. The hair was important.
"How about honey, Professor? I've heard it is used on many muggle remedies, and it has some soothing properties, which will come in handy when our hair grows back?" he said, with a firm nod, even if that sort of contradicted the final questioning. Which had more to do with the 'growing hair' part than anything else.
Yup, he was nervous, but kept a cool face and raised his hand again, "And perhaps a bit of fluxweed would be nice, since it's commonly used in potions that require some form of change...like right now." end of it, he had no idea what else he could add. So, Treyen rested his hand in silence.
Simon had no idea. "How about Glue Professor?" Simon just thought that with glue it was sticky and if you want your hair back you could use something sticky, he hadn't heard of the potion before, he just hoped that the Professor would realise he was trying his best, because he had a feeling this answer was wrong.

So, smiling slightly and walking into the classroom, practically dragging Marie and Destiny behind her by the little whatever invisible rope thing that was in between them, she let go and walked to one of the last few empty tables near the front.
Front in potions! If there was even considered a front. But seriously, perhaps it would be better since the back obviously didn't keep her safe like all the other classes. And it didn't matter that she was now practically balled either.
We can all forget that they all just lost their hair...

Of course Destiny didn't want to be in this class. Why should she!? She struggled with the pulling all the way to the Potion's classroom. It wasn't that far, considering she had just come from the Slytherin Common room. Marie..she was no help.
As she was viciously DRAGGED entered the classroom, she didn't even notice her own hair falling out since she was too busy laughing at Evelyn. "You are BALD!"
Well, that made Destiny feel a tad bit better.

Sitting down on one of the stools, Evelyn turned to stare at Destiny for a moment, not even tempted to touch her head to make sure what her friend said was true. Everyone else in the classroom was bald and her head felt definitely colder, so really... no need to check and burst into tears.
"So are you." she mumbled, narrowing her eyes and giving the invisible rope one last tug before gently kicking the stool beside her to her friend. "And before we lose our skin as well, you should sit."
There was one next to them that Marie could sit at. hehe.
Marie was not happy that she was now holding her long blond hair in her hand. This was not acceptable.
Girls. Were. Not. Suppose. To. Be. Bald.
She looked over at Carter and gave a forced smile. Her poor boyfriend was now as bald as she was. He still looked really cute, even without his blond hair but she really wanted him to have it back. Heck, she wanted her hair back.
What kind of potion were they going to be brewing? Well it better be one that was going to get her hair back. If they didn't then she just might have to tie this professor up with that rope that was hanging there between her and Destiny.
Capillatum Potion, what the heck was that?
Oh, a potion to cure baldness... Well it better work, that's all Marie had to say about that. If it didn't, someone was going to pay for her losing all her hair.
What were they going to put in the potion? Well how should she know, she wasn't the professor. Geesh, why doesn't the woman just do her job and tell them what goes in it. It would make the class go so much easier.

Trixie felt so rubbish in this class that she felt like crying. She had absolutely no recollection of doing anything like this so she remained quiet. For now at least. That was until she either lost some more of her memory or gained some of it back. Preferably the latter. But she was willing to work and write notes down.

After getting over the intial shock of being bald, Mina pulled herself together and pulled out her Potions journal. There was only one course of action. She need to get this potion correct and her hair would come back.
Flipping though her notes, she raised her hand. "Could Salamander blood or Re'em blood be in it as well. They are both known to be found in potions that strengthen." she voiced. It was a bit of a stretch, but did make some sense.
Another raising of Treyen's hand, simply because he remembered something, "I'm not aware of what ingredients Skele-Gro is made with, but what we're doing will have its same effect, except with hair instead of bones, so perhaps they ought to have some ingredients in common" he nodded, and realized that regrowing bones was a painful situation...
..would regrowing hair be one as well? Considering ALL of their hair was gone?
"How about clove oil? Besides being an antiseptic it's also an stimulant, and reliefs pain....like grapefruit oil as well, except grapefruit oil doesn't relief pain" but, yeah, those things could be in there, for sure.
"I'll add peppermint, too, because of its refreshing properties and, because it smells good to me" if it were for Treyen, he'll add every single herb to the mix, but peppermint was something he inherited from his sister. And peppermint tea is quite yummy. Not that he WAS making TEA.
The REAL Sorting Hat: "Ravenclaw!" This monkey is bananas.
"Well professor wouldn't aloe be used in the potion? Aloe does have a lot of healing properties after all." he replied, his hand in the air loosely. While he would behave, he had plans for being in the class and would do his part no doubt.

Emma didn't know the answer to the question, so she finished writing down her notes. She raised her hand and took a guess, "Does it have Hair follicles in it?" asked Emma, unsure of her answer.

She was just going to say, No Duh! Of course they needed hair follicles... but thought better of it. "Right... but what kind? Think." she thought to herself.

"Right... Saw Palmetto extract." That was impressive... but she wouldn't tell the child that.
