In The Three Broomsticks, you will rarely find a speck of dust or smudged cutlery. In winter months, a fire blazes in the hearth, and the shutters and curtains are thrown wide open in warmer weather. You can stop in for just a butterbeer or a snack, or you can order a full meal. Grab a menu or step up to the counter and the new bartender and manager, Juliette Shepherd, will be glad to help you. So come on in, pull up a chair and grab yourself a butterbeer.

"You waited?"

Dylan sat and waited. He hoped, as he kept checking the door. He looked at his hands, and then back at the door again. He sighed. Maybe she didn't love him. Maybe she wasn't returning. He checked his pocket watch. Hmmm not quite bedtime yet. He could still wait.

The door opened again. His face lit up. There the red head was. "You came back." He smiled. "I hoped you would."

"It's going cold." She commented, offering him the spoon back, so he could eat it before it went cold, for she had a feeling this soup would not be nice cold. "Thats good." She smiled, because they needed the like the same things right? Or nothing would ever work out.

She sighed as he talked, looking up at him. Disregarding the warmth of his soup she took both of his hands in her's and squeezed them lightly. "You don't need to be nervous Tor. I'm never ever going to hurt you again." Not intentionally anyway.

Oh yes. He really should finish his food now if it was getting cold. He took the spoon back and started eating faster, while still making sure not to turn into a slob. He didn't want to put her off and he wasn't a sloppy eater anyway. Yummy soup.

And he felt a bit better as she squeezed his hands. And he believed her. He had needed her to say that to him to make it real. Because she had hurt him in the past, and he really had to hear it from her to believe it. "Okay. I believe you." He squeezed her hand back. "I've missed you. In a few ways."

She could tell that he felt better about the situation now, and it made her feel happier, because she knew he wasn't going to hurt her now. It was Dakota.

He pouted as she started laughing. Yes, he had made a mess. But it wasn't that bad really. And she was cleaning up after him, which was sorta odd really. "Thanks, mum." He winked at her. "Guess I'll need o put on a new shirt." He sighed.

"I don't want to be one." This was so odd. Because it had been so long. "So does this count as a first date? Because I say it should." Because he wanted it to be one.

Enid smiled faintly as Cesar seemed to cheer up, though as he joked that he would've had to be the president of the island, her jaw dropped and she scoffed. "I think not!" she said. "If you're giving the island to us, that makes us the owners, not you! Of course, we'll still give you a pretty important position.... you can be the janitor of the presidential chambers. Oh, and the dog-walker, too!" she told him, as if these were important positions to be admired.

Four, got it. Nikki was about to walk out of the Three Broomsticks, when she felt someone grab her hands. She turned and looked down at her hand, then at Blake. She laughed. Another study date? "Okay, we'll talk about a study date tomorrow." She said. "Now, I really have to go." She said when he dropped her hand. "Bye." She waved and pushed the door open, walking out onto the main street. She finally had a date with Blake...finally!

Well Evan wasn't running out the door yet so Marie took that as a good sign. Judging from the look on his face and him not breathing though she thought maybe he was going into shock, maybe that's why he didn't run. She was about to reach over and shake him out if it when he finally started to speak. "Um yeah, for generations my family has hated muggles and the hate hasn't stopped yet. No matter what people say though, my family is good." She knew that her family was hated by a lot of people but she loved them no matter what. They were always there for her when she needed them and would do anything for her, except let her have muggle things in the house.

"I would love to go with you" she said with a huge smile that automatically turned to blushing as she realized what she had just said. "I mean sure, that sounds great, I think it would be fun to go to a concert with you." Wow, he still wanted to do things with her. She couldn't believe it, he really wanted to spend time with her. Then it hit her, what if he only wanted to do things with her because of who her family was? 'No, he was your friend before you told him your family line,' she told herself. Things wouldn't chage with them, she didn't want them to change. Well maybe she wanted things to change a little but she wasn'r going to push that issue, she would be happy with being his friend for now.

There was a word for this, wasn't there? The feeling when you walked into a room and knew nobody there? What was it? Ah, that was it - loneliness. A feeling Skye Winther was most certainly not accustomed to, she found when she stepped into the Three Broomsticks with a soft sigh. Never before had she been in a room full of complete strangers - that was just not how it had worked before.

She shook her thick fringe from her eyes, casting another glance around, but there had been no change in the three seconds since she'd last looked. Still not one person she recognised - yet. But, then again, she did have a very good reason for it. Moving to a school was always bound to be different, considering she'd never really been around people her age before.

She settled herself quickly with a drink in one of the seats, lamenting at the fact that at the table, only her own seat was taken. She was more used to it being too full for everyone to sit down - but one could learn to adapt, couldn't they? With a soft frown of annoyance, she began to silently observe random things in the bar.

Enid made a face. "How can you do that if you're not that president?" she asked him. "We already told you - I'm the President of the State of Smooth Moves and Becks here is our lovely vice-president; you don't have the power to give positions, we do," she replied, as if this was all very obvious and he was missing a point everyone else already knew.

Then it hit her, what if he only wanted to do things with her because of who her family was? 'No, he was your friend before you told him your family line,' she told herself. Things wouldn't chage with them, she didn't want them to change. Well maybe she wanted things to change a little but she wasn'r going to push that issue, she would be happy with being his friend for now.

Evan knew her family was good. Not that he'd met them, but he had always had a soft spot for purebloods, especially Slytherin pırebloods. The other houses couldn't keep their purity for long anyway. And Malfoys were a dream beyond his daily life. He nodded at her with a smile that said I know. Hopefully she wouldn't ask where.

Would she really love to go with him? This brought a really huge smile on his face. Yay! He'd get to see Marie outside the school. He couldn't wait. He bit his lips to find another topic. Then it hit him. With another beam, he asked "You lived in London, you said? Would you also like to go to a match as well?" Please please?

"Who said I was making you president? The deed to the island would have been in my name so who gave you all these rights cause I don't seem to recall." Cesar put a frace as confusion to act out his sentence. He pretended as though he was attepting to draw a memory.

Enid narrowed her eyes at Cesar. She did not like the way he was pointing out these things and leaving her without a comeback at all. "You know what, Cissy?" she said, then picking up one of the chocolate chip cookies the lady had brought earlier and breaking it in half, throwing one of the pieces at the boy sitting across from her. "Fetch."

Becca smiled. She was having a fabulous time and it was still fun to watch the two go on about this island, "That'll work. I accept." She said to Enid. But then Enid blew the deal, she said mimicing sadness "Gosh Slick, what'd you do that for?" But then laughed as they began to play around again. "Um, question.... if I'm the Vice President, what are my resposibilities? OH!! And we should also make it a law that everyone has to sleep in until 11:30 in the morning. That way I can get more out of sleep."
