Thalia chuckled softly and rolled her eyes. Nice joke. She sat there and looked at a table nearby with another girl and boy who were possibly on a date as well. She looked at the wilting flower in front of her set on the table and took out her wand, saying a charm to make it look pretty again. Much better.

She put her wand away and saw Jude return. He set her butterbeer and brownie in front of her. "Thank you very much," she told him, taking a bite into the brownie. It was sweet. "Very good," she said after swallowing. She took a sip of the butterbeer which seemed to warm her.

"So," she began looking at the boy in front of her. "Are you looking forward to Christmas?" Speaking of Christmas she had a really bad feeling about someone who just may of been invited.

Jude bit into his brownie almost immediately and contemplated an answer to the girl's question. In all honesty, Jude was nervous, and still kind of in an anit-holiday mood since he didn't like to think about what happened when he was eight. After swallowing the amount that he chewed, Jude answered, "Yes of course I am." He gave her a cheerful smile to mask his true feelings. 'What if her family doesn't like me?' he wondered taking a sip of his butterbeer.

"What about you?" Jude asked with a curious glance.

Marie walked into the Three Broomsticks exhausted from all the shopping she had done. She had set out to get something for Evan and ended up buying stuff for herself too.

Losing Elizabeth somewhere along the way she ran into Destiny and asked her if she wanted to get a butterbeer with her. So there they were, at the Three Broomsticks and who does she see when she first walks in?

Kay, Rex and......Nicoletta? What is up with that? Since when is Kay friends with Nicoletta? Something doesn't seem right there.

"Look who's over there, and see who they are with?" She says to Destiny.

Marie puts her hands in her pockets and feels the potion in there. Hmmmm, this may be the day it gets used.

Heehee, Destiny had to laugh when Marie invited her to a butterbeer. Every time she would hear that word it brought back some memories. Oh yes, pouring butterbeer on someone's head is hilarious.

She walked in and her eyes fell on the exact same spot the butterbeer incident happened and of course she would smile. That smile didn't last long when Marie pointed out who was in there with them. 'Greaaaaat.' she sighed. It was like she couldn't go anywhere without running into those two. Well, three now, since they were sitting and talking to a Slytherin. 'Why are they talking to Slytherin scum anyway?'

Ehh, she asked that pretty loudly. Maybe she wanted Kay and Rex to hear her.

Marie had to laugh at Destiny's question. "Haha, probably because they can't get anyone else to be their friends, they had to lower their standards to us slimeball Slytherins." She looked over at the three of them again and actually wondered why Nicoletta would want to be friends with those two.

"Maybe we should ask Nicoletta why she wants to be friends with a Gryffindork and a Fluffy Huffy." Marie couldn't hold it in, she started laughing loudly when she called Kay a Fluffy Huffy. :evillaugh

Kay looked up when the door opened. 'Great.' She thought seeing Marie and Destiny walk in. Why were all her days filled with people she didn't want to talk to. Watching them move to a table, she remember the potion in her pocket. 'oh, this could be good.' she thought making sure she had it with her. Maybe she could get Destiny to drink it and watch her be all warm and fuzzy. 'Gee, What would really change?' Kay thought still watching them 'maybe Destiny would have to be nice to her.'

Brant couldn't help but still look at Torin and Reese, These two were super Funny. He wanted to hang out with them more often. But he had a bigger purpose on his mind right now to ask Torin. "Erm, yeah so Torin as you were there when You helped me out asking Miranda out, I was wondering if you can give me some tips" he said bowing his head .

Feeling a little bit of embarassment he continued. "Like, I've had one girlfriend" he thought of Sarah and shivered. "And we didn't really date long, and Im not to good at this" he said confessing to him.

Pffft, they have plenty of friends..what was their name called..oh yeah! The Magical Five. What a lame name for a lame group of friends. At least Destiny and Evelyn (and possibly Marie) had a cool name, like The Super Slytherin Buddies. There is no competition with that name. They were like superheros. Yep. 'Maybe they are up to something..' she whispered to Marie. Why else would the Slytherin hating Rex talk to a Slytherin?

At the Fluffy Huffy comment Destiny burst into laughter. 'Fluffy Huffy!' she continued to laugh as she pointed to Kay. That pointing always got her in trouble, but she didn't seem to learn her lesson the first few times.

After calming her laughter, Destiny gave Kay a little wave. 'Where's my butterbeer?' Because, you know, she still owed her one.

'butterbeer?' Kay thought 'oh thats right.' she knew what to do. "That right," She said looking toward the bar. Kay got up and went to the bar. 'this is so prefect.' Getting the Butterbeer she pulled the phial out of her pocket and poured it into the bottle. 'one Butterbeer fuzzy coming up.' she thought with a smile. Walking back to where Marie and Disteny were. "Here, I own you one right? Enjoy and sorry about the other day." Kay smiled and turned and walked away from them thinking about how long it will take to work.

"Oh yeah, I am sure they are up to something. We just need to find out what it is." There was no way Kay would be friends with Nicoletta if she wasn't up to something. The question is, does Nicoletta know what is going on?
Marie giggled a little more when Desstiny laughed at the new name for Kay. "I think we need to call Kay Fluffy from now on. Yes, that is her new name." Now there was Rex the dog and Fluffy the fat cat.
What, Kay actually bought a butterbeer for Destiny, now Marie knew the girl was definately up to something. Well if Kay was going to be up to something then so was Marie.

As she walked over to the bar to get a butterbeer for herself, since Kay didn't offer her one, she accidenty bumped into Kay causing her to drop her butterbeer. "Oh I'm sorry Kay, I didn't mean to do that, I guess I should watch where I'm walking. Let me get you another one."

While at the bar she carefully uncapped her potion and poured it into Kay's drink. She was going to make that girl feel all warm and fuzzy inside and feel nothing but love and friendship for her. It would be just like old times. Well maybe not because Marie would not be having the same feelings for Kay.

She walked back over to her and handed her the warm, refreshing drink. "Here you go, cheers" she said as she took a drink of her own. She then walked back over to Destiny so they could go sit down.

Kay couldn't believe that Marie had just walked into her table. Butterbeer went all over. "God, Marie what are you doing?" She said making sure it didn't get on anyone. When Marie walked a way saying that she would get her another one Kay wondered what was going on. Marie hadn't been nice to her all term. When she brought a new Butterbeer back she was sure what to say. "Umm thanks, I think." she watched Marie walk way. What was Marie up to? Kay was going to try and find out. Kay picked up the Butterbeer and watch Disteny to see if she had drank any yet.

Evelyn, being all shifty and such, tried to enter the Three Broomsticks unnoticed. She did NOT want to be talking to anyone at the moment since her head felt like it was going to explode and she was not in the mood for anyone's presence. So why, one may ask, was she going to the Three Broomsticks? Because, it really was the most populated place in Hogsmeade and everyone pretty much hated her anyways so she was able to sit and think without anyone disturbing her. That's why...

Taking a seat at an empty booth, she laid her hat and scarf down on the table and crossed her arms before looking around. The place was packed, as usual, but something caught her eye. Marie? She hadn't seen her since, well just a few days ago, but it seemed like forever. And there was Kay. Of course. And...Destiny? Whaa? Frowning, she glared at Destiny for a moment before turning back to staring at the table.

Thiiiinking is what is needed at the moment. Planning. Strategy and ideas mixed together. Gah, it was difficult. Destiny usually planned this stuff....

Wait.

Kay just seriously bought her a butterbeer?

After all that had happened, Kay was being nice to her?

That was unexpected and totally shifty. Destiny glanced at the butterbeer and then to Kay back to the butterbeer. Something was definitely up with that girl, and Destiny knew it. There would be no way she was drinking that butterbeer. Not even if she was dehydrating in the Sahara desert. She would rather have the buzzards eat her than drink that. Plus her mother always told her not to drink something that did not have a cork, and this butterbeer was indeed corkless. 'Thanks Kay! You're the best!' she replied happily. That sentence was harder to say than hugging Lawson, that's for sure.

Holding the bottle up to her lips, Destiny tipped it slightly, but making sure nothing went into her mouth. She placed the bottle back on the table and gave Kay a thumbs up.

Yeahhhh.

Well, something was up alright. 'She gave me a tainted butterbeer!' Destiny whispered to Marie. If Destiny did have a mouth full of the butterbeer, it surely would have exploded out when Marie decided to call Kay Fluffy. 'Fluffy and the dinosaur Rex.' Because his name sounded like a dinosaurs name.

Destiny watched as Marie got up and bought Kay a butterbeer. What was going on..ohhh. Ooohhhh indeed. Potions homework, that's what all that was about. And that was what Kay put in Destiny's butterbeer. She was extremely glad she didn't drink it then, no way would she be nice to Kay. She would have to pretend that's all. 'Did you just do what I think you did?' she whispered again as they went to find a table. If Marie did do that, it would be AWESOME!

And who do we have here? Mister Shifty herself. Yeah, she said Mister. 'There is a table right here, Marie.' Destiny pulled Marie over to where the shiftiness was and sat down. She needed to tell Evelyn some Super Secret Slytherin Buddy information anyway. 'Shifty day, huh Evelyn?'

Destiny is weird.

Aww. Imagine how happy could this couple be in the future, if they had more than this friend sort of date relationship, though later a real couple boyfriend-girlfriend one. She tried to imagine it, really. She was hopeful. But then the thought of them, that they were still young. Well, the young one was Annie, but this was too quick to turn into a big thing to think about. "You know, if we expect someday, you know...become more than friends, there will be discussions, lots of them. I wouldn't like that..." And probably neither did he, but all was possible nowadays.

Yes, those were tears coming out of Annie's eyes. She was so happy. This was sure meaning a lot to him, as it was for her. "This is perfect, I didn't actually expect anything in return. I'm happy that we are here, now..." She whispered the last words. It was so weird for her to say that.

And more weird it was when, she noticed Torin, Reese and a few of his friends were around.

EEP!!

Thalia giggled nervously. "Well I'm not sure you're going to like it as much as you say," she said to him. She looked down at the brownie and thought if she should tell him or not. He was going to find out eventually wasn't he?

"I'm pretty excited except for one teensy problem." Thalia looked back up at him and said, "Parker Yorke is coming for Christmas. At my house." There she said it. This was terrible all around. She just knew Christmas wasn't going to end the way she had hoped.

Jude's questioning look to one of rage in a matter of moment. He threw down his brownie, having lost his appetite and said, "Oh just brilliant."

Folding his arms across his chest, he looked at the girl darkly. 'Why is she allowing this to happen? Doesn't she know how much I hate him?' he wondered to himself, now refusing to utter another word to Thalia. Christmas was not going to be better than it had been in previous years. In fact, Jude knew that it was going to be worse.

"Why, may I ask, did you invite him?!" Jude finally demanded in no less than a growl.

Torin lost all his playfulness as soon as Brant asked him for advice. This was getting serious because the guy really looked like he needed help. And Torin had sorta got Brant and her on a date by pushing. So it was only right to try to help him.

"Okay, I'll tell you some important things, Brant," he said to the boy while leaning in almost conspiratorially. "And these are really important.." He paused for a second before starting again. "Try not to get too nervous and stressed out. Just be yourself and take things slow. Maybe ask her on a walk or take her over here or something. Get to know her. It's not a good idea to just jump into things and take her to say... Madame Puddifoots."

Hopefully this made sense? Basically he was just saying to take it slow and not scare Miranda off.

Rex walked into the Three Broomsticks. "What is going on here?" Rex asked Kay. " You are getting along with Destiny and marie-cool" Rex told Kay. "so what potion am I going to use to give them another butterbeer and make them nice to me?" Rex asked Kay in a whisper.

Noooo, Kay wasn't smart stupid enough to do anything to Destiny's drink, was she? "I doubt that she did anything to it, she isn't stupid enough to mess with you in here again do you think?" Surely Kay would not want a reapeat of the last time she was in here with Destiny and Evelyn.

"That depends on what you are thinking. I just added a little sunshine to her drink, that's all." Yeah, everyone could use a little sunshine in their life, expecially Kay.

Marie followed Destiny over to a table and sat down. Oh, Evelyn was there. "Hey Evelyn, I didn't even see you come in." Evelyn was looking a little stressed as she sat there. "Hey,everything okay?"

Georgiana fairly skipped into the three broomsticks, it was an awesome day, and she was soo ready to make the most of the rest of her term at Hoggywarts. Which meanttttt, hanging out with Rex and Kay as much as possible, duh! Though of course she didn't want to bug them today, justtt in case they were on a date or something like that. She stopped and looked around, hey their they were, and it looked like a date to her, but hold up! Weren't those the Slytherin girls who hated Kay? And why in merlin's name where they with MARIE!? Wasn't she like, Kay's friend?

Urgh, Ana was confused now, and despite her earlier resolve, the walked over to Rex and Kay and sat down on the other side of Kay. She raised an eyebrow and looked from them to the Slytherins. "Um, hey there you two!" she hoped she came across as confused. Cause merlin she was! They were acting...civil? Yet Marie was acting cold...UGH. Her head hurt now.

"Well, now three of us are here" Rex told Georgie. "We just should be cool at this time" Rex said to Georgie and Kay. "We have part of our Magical Five" and we are very magical " Rex laughed.

Cool, Georgie could do that, sometimes...she ordered a butterbeer and took a sip of it. "Pfft, we are not just magical. We are the magicalest." was that even a word? Probably not, but it was now because she used it. Eat that dictionary!

" Yes, we are the magicalest" Rex laughed. This buitter beer is good." Rex said to Georgie.

Oh thank merlin that Destiny was here. Evelyn was starting to get a headache with all this thinking at the moment. Shifty day? "I guess so." she mumbled with a blank expression. It had not missed her that the Slytherin had been standing rather close to Kay. Closer than normal that is...In speaking range actually. What, was THAT about? The last time that happened, there was butterbeer poured on someones head, and she did not see any butterbeer being poured on anyone's head this time.

And Marie was there? Was she talking to Kay too- Aw, and the party just arrived. Rex. Okay this definitely wasn't the place to come to think. Distractions were everywhere. "Hey Marie." Was everything okay? What? Did she look like something was wrong? "Yes, everything is fine." Besides the lack of sleep, insulting letters from home, and well just a bunch of other stuff... "What are you two doing around Kay?"

Oh.

Marie sure did have a point with the whole Kay isn't smart comment. Like she would really poison Destiny, of all people! Kay would not be too happy if a butterbeer, or something hot, came streaming down her face. Destiny would enjoy that though.. 'She better not have.' Destiny was still hesitant to drink it. She pushed her butterbeer aside, to not be tempted to drink it.

If Kay and Rex were not so close to them at the moment, Destiny would have laughed when Marie told her what she did. They had to act natural, as natural as Slytherin's could be. And no, she would not be hissing. 'That is AWESOME!' she whispered, because she was in a shifty mood too.

And look what the Fluffy Puff had brought it! Tyrannosaurus Rex. and she would totally steal Marie's idea now. It wasn't actually stealing, more like borrowing. 'I'll be back.' she told Marie and Mister shifty Evelyn, and walked to the counter to order a butterbeer. And how was she supposed to do this now?

Uncorking the bottle, Destiny poured in her sunshiny yellow potion. She corked it back up and tapped it with her wand to make sure it didn't look like it was just opened. Heehee. Skipping over to where Rex was seated, Destiny gave him the warmest smile she could muster, 'Rex,' she started taking a deep breath in. She didn't want to be nice. 'I am sorry for what I ever did to you and Kay. I bought you a butterbeer!'

Cue extremely cheesy smile.
