He gave a short, stiff, bow. "Professor Thomas Duskurk, Defense Against the Dark Arts," he informed her. "And I'm afraid half the students in your house are either rude or unaware of common courtesy."

"You're ridiculous, mate. Truly. I forgot about you and your deep-seated fear of the fairer sex. Shake it off or you'll never get along in this place."
He considered throwing a breadstick at the man's head, but that was probably considered petty behavior.
Sitting up on this dias sucked.
"I do not," JD protested, "fear the fairer sex. When they act like the fairer sex, I like them just fine. It's when they act all insane which is most of the time, I like to stay as far away from them as I possibly can! THAT'S how you get along with the so-called fairer sex."

Oh she was.
He remembered.
"See? Interacting with the women-folk."

He only counted to five this time, but it seemed to work. Anger management classes pay off. He spotted the witch smiling at Tate and moved over toward her. "Professor Lupa, I presume?"
JD let out a wheezy breath he didn't know he was holding.
As the scent was identified Maidee looked around until she found the gentleman looking in her direction. She smiled, "Yes, it is. I usually find that Heather stamps out even the most ferocious of odors. I bow my head to your quick recognition." At this she did, indeed, nod her head to the gentleman.
"Yes, it is, and I'm afraid I haven't caught your name?" She asked with a subtle, though quickly recovered look of mischief. The tone of the other woman indicated she had yet another theory for the source of the smell, but was unwilling to share, at least at this time.
"It does. My mother kept a patch of it in her garden and it reminded me of it just now." Much to his pleasant surprise the memory was strikingly clear. The new potion must've been working, despite the side-effects. "David Kapoor. I'm the schools Librarian. And you are Madie? Am I correct?" He introduced himself and recalled the name the other polite woman had called the woman.

his blood made his body burn like fire until it felt like it was burning his flesh..
there was a neverending stop to this madness...
Neverending agony...

Then,everything stopped...
His body felt ice cold when he saw him.....
Lysander walked slowly away, and turned his head to see him...
That curious face....
His Face...
Made him want to shreak in pain..
Made his flesh want to burn....
Unknowingly,Lysander was at the Staff table as he smiled radiantly
with his broad shoulders straight up as he glanced at the rather large table.
There were some new faces, and some old ones.
Lysander smild greatly at the New Headmaster with great pleasure of meeting him.
Lysander walked over to him,and said openly,
"Hello,I am Lysander Kyle Valendar.
I hope you had a great summer Headmaster as I myself did.
I am hoping to share my thoughts and views with you to open new doors to this extrodinary school because I myself want to be Headmaster when I graduate."
Lysander looked at him. He looked rarely young as towards adults he knew, and he seemed nice.
"If you will excuse me."Lysander said as he nodded to wish the other professors a welcome.
There she stood looking rather lonely.
Professor Lupa.
"Hello Professor,I would expect you to know me since I usually inclose myself, but I am Lysander."
Lysander smiled as he looked in her eyes.
They were an innocent rich color...
He could see that she was troubled.
"You have beautiful eyes Professor."
He leaned in and whispered to her,"Everything will be alright."
He stood straight back up and smiled slightly.
"I hope we can get to know eachother."
He nodded as he departed for the next professor.
She looked rather beautiful.
Lysander had heared her name before...
What was it....
"Hello,Im Lysander you must be Professor McFarlane, the Astronomy Teacher."
Lysander had a sparkle in his eyes.
"I take Astronomy as my favorite subject Professor for I could go for nights just looking at the stars wondering what their purpose is,and how they got there in the first place, and discover new things."
Lysander reached his hand into his pocket, and pulled out a rather small weaved sack.
He untied the strings, and reached his hand to the sack to pull out a beautiful lit star.
"Its a fallen star Professor."
Lysander smiled, and looked down at the star and then to the Professor.
"I would like you to have it Professor."
Lysander put the star back into the sack, and then put it on the table right in front of the Professor.
"As a welcome gift. I hope we can get to know eachother very very soon."
And then he went to the Herbology Professor and he grinned.
"Welcome back Professor,I am Lysander."
He looked at her shoes.
"Those are beautiful for such an amazing Professor such as yourself, and may I say
you look rather lovely today."
Lysander smiled.
"I hope you had a wonderful break, and I also hope we will become great friends."
Then he made his way to the New Healer.
Something in Lysander made him shined as he saw her.
"You must be the new healer,Ms.Gabriella Ashford."
Lysander grinned as he took out his wand, and said toward the table,"Chalance."
Out of thin air a piece of cheesecake landed in front of her.
Lysander put up his wand, and winked at her.
"I was hoping if you need any help at all-...."
Lysander took a pause then said..
"In the Hospital Wing-...Maybe I could be like an intern.
Im really good at Charms."
Lysander said in a shy voice.
Kapoor watched as a student came up and address a few of the staff with a warm friendliness. 'And what were he and Dumont? Chopped livers?'

With a sigh and a flourish of her wand, the food vanished and her attempts began again. "I'll be taking the Transfiguration post," she answered in response to the young lady whose name was already long forgotten. Was it Mary?
... something like that she was sure.
"Transfiguration?!" Kapoor butted in while buttering a bun. He looked around in a panic for Professor Svennson. Spotting him down the table, he sighed relievedly then realized he left the exclamation afloat in front of the schools new healer and the older witch, who was apparently taking over for Professor Svennson. He calmly smiled and continued buttering whilst addressing the two ladies. "What a lovely subject! Welcome to it. I'm sure you will do quite a fantastic job." He didn't like making false assumptions and so decided it was probably best to leave it as an open question. That and one of the students near him was acting strange, cutting off his thoughts.
Blinking, Sabel looked over at the older student, his eyes widening a fraction at the color of his hands. Either he had dunked them in some very interesting paint, for which he could not fathom a logical reason- it wasn't Saint Patrick's Day- or something was wrong. Judging by the sweats he looked to be the latter, and Sabel case Evie a worried glance before looking to the older boy. "Hey, are you alright?" He reached out to put a steadying hand on the other boy's shoulder.

"Here." He held the cup to the boy's lips; he didn't look like he could hold it on his own. "Drink slowly."
Sabel cast Evie a small smile, worried about the boy beside him. "I hope that is not a sarcastic tone, Evie. Each has his or her own personality, and each is unique and important to their tasks. Small, cute and lost are good attributes. And I would have pegged you for at least a second year with your matiurity." He had to remind himself that the key to handing an emergency situation was remaining calm, and the only way he could think of was to keep up the conversation.
"Aannndd..." He trailed, glancing back to Brant to check on him. "I'm a transfer student. I haven't seen the common room, and I have no idea where the infirmiry is..."

All that work with his muggle doctor parents, and being in the hospital wing with Healer Melita seemed to be a help. He didn't look bad enough not to be moved. Just like he ate something bad. Brant? He'd have to remember that. "I think it's something he ate." Carter said. At least, that's what the muggle in him would say. But since they were back at Hogwarts there was the possibility that it was a potion or something crazy like that.

Had this not been a serious situation, Gabriella would have thought the whole great battle of Sparta comment was funny, and she may have even gotten a good laugh. Creative one, this boy was. As it was, though, the situation was too serious for her to focus on the great battle comments, so she simply nodded along to the boy's explanation as she examined the ill student.

Being a Healer, Gabriella often times carried around a variety of common healing potions and ointments. Doing so had proven to be helpful many of times. She quickly returned to the boy's side and elevated his head while she lifted the potion to his lips. In a few moments, it was down. "He should awaken shortly," she told his friends. "When he does, he'll probably be nauseated for a while, so he'll need to lie down once he gets to the Common Room."

Sabel reddened a little in embarrassment at that. "We don't know who the new nurse is." He replied sheepishly, glancing at her from under his eyebrows.

Sabel's embarrassment deepend as one of the staff members came over; rather the new nurse came over. Deciding it was best to keep his mouth closed, Sabel helped Carter lower Brant onto what he hoped was a semi-comfortable position on the floor. He took up a spot kneeling beside him as he watched the nurse work, silently crossing his fingers for Brant and Brant's friend, that this would work.
A sudden thought came to mind and he glanced up at the nurse. "Why did his fingers turn green if it was just an allergic reaction or upset stomach?" He wasn't used to either of those conditions causing what he would now call the "green-hand symptom", in the muggle world.

He was about to call shenanigans on the whole lot, and it was only the first evening.
Carter looked between the new nurse, Healer Ashford, and the new headmaster, Headmaster... something... He decided to stay put gently resting Brant on the floor with his head on Carter's knee. It was a good position to have a potion in.

When it seemed that nothing unusual happened, she turned back to the man, wondering why he'd suddenly seemed so alarmed. Whatever it was, though, seemed to have passed, for the man continued with lighthearted conversation, even introducing himself as the librarian. "Nice to meet you, David. I'm Gabriella Ashford, the newly-hired Healer," she replied. "How long have you been---..."
Gabriella's sentence went unfinished, though, for once again she heard someone call for the nurse---new nurse to be specific. Hearing that a student had collapsed at the Gryffindor table, Gabriella hurried down to meet them, hoping nothing terrible had happened to the young man.
"He will be," Gabriella said, speaking up and answering the question a Slytherin girl had asked. Gabriella had just finished examing the fallen boy and determined that he had indeed eaten something that hadn't agreed with him. It had perhaps choked him a bit before going down, causing him to fall out in the process. "Why don't you three watch over him while I return to the staff table and retrieve my bag? I believe I have a potion on hand for just this type of situation."
Being a Healer, Gabriella often times carried around a variety of common healing potions and ointments. Doing so had proven to be helpful many of times. She quickly returned to the boy's side and elevated his head while she lifted the potion to his lips. In a few moments, it was down. "He shoudl awaken shortly," she told his friends. "When he does, he'll probably be nauseated for a while, so he'll need to lie down once he gets to the Common Room."
Something touched his lips and now there was a warm liquid pouring down his throat, instantly he felt a little bit better, and he could see things more clearly. "Seve, How did I know you would come."he said under his breath, but he still gave his little sister type a wink. Rummmbbleee"Oh, no what out ladies, Move your shoes" he managed to spit out before he, lets not mention it . All over the floor infront of the Staff Table. "Omg, What just happend. Im going to get into soo much trouble for that.". "Im soo, sorry. I didn't know where that came from. What happend to me by the way, all I can remember was eating lots of food, then blurry from then on?" Brant was soo confused.

"Well, I have no idea. But I'm very glad you're better now." She smiled at him before pulling out her wand and cleaning up the mess.

"You passed out. Maybe you at something bad." Carter said. "You feeling a bit better?"

Blinking, Sabel shifted away just in time to avoid the lot of gastric juices, frowning first in concern at Brant, then at Carter, then at Healer Ashford, and then at who he pressumed to be the Headmaster. He didn't like this one bit. Normally, he found the resolve to keep his mouth shut, but for some reason this urked him.
Putting a hand on Brant's shoulder to steady him he addressed the headmaster. "If I may Sir and with all do respect. There was no one responsible for this. It was the food he ate. Merely too much, maybe too fast, maybe an allergy or an upset stomach from before trigged by one morsal of chicken. But I do not think it fair to look for one responsible when there is no one who caused this." He tilted his head a little. "Unless you would like to take points away from the food."

"Yeah Im feeling a little bit better, Im awake aint i" he laughed!, of course it would be Brant to be the one making the jokes. "I feel like I should be somewhere else tho, I feel totally embarrassed that I just through up infront of the staff table. And I think some water would be good. Seve do you want to watch over me at my table.?" he asked her. Brant knew that she was a slytherin, but he didn't care she was always there for him and she was a nicest little sister that he didn't have.

"Of course I will!" Severia said handing Brant a goblet of water before looking up at the healer. "Is it okay for him to move now, Healer Ashford?"

When the child began talking, Gabriella knew that the potion was taking affect, and he'd be back to his normal self in no time. She had no clue who Seve was, nor did she know how this child knew she would come, but there was at least one part of his mumblings she indeed understood.
The kid was going to spew...
She quickly pushed herself off the ground and took a step backward. No matter how many times she'd healed an ill person, she just couldn't get herself used to someone throwing up. She turned her head so as not to see it, and when it was all said and done, she evanesco'ed it off the floor. "That's quite alright, young man. You were sick, and you just couldn't help it. Do try and get some rest, and if you still feel ill when you wake up, please come see me again," she said. "...and it's perfectly fine to move him," she added, this time glancing towards the Slytherin girl.

Upon hearing her name, this time from the boss, Gabriella turned around to face the staff table. "He's all taken care of now, I believe," she replied. "I've got him heading up for some rest now." Gabriella kept a careful eye on the once ill boy as she made her way back up to the staff table, her appetite now completely gone. She gently pushed her plate away and simply waited around for the end of the feast to arrive.
