This is definitely the place to go if you're looking to get rid of some stress or knock out some of your excess energy. Go on, pull up a swing or go for a slide! Act like a monkey on the monkey bars. Or, take a seat in the sand that surrounds all the equipment and build a castle.

Just beware of a certain Herbology professors cat on the search for a new litter box.

Dani eyed the older boy one more time and then walked over to the professor. B] Handing him the broom, aka evidence of her rule breaking, she looked the Professor in the eye and decided to be honest. "Okay.. so I know flying is against the rules but I just got a new broom and I was anxious. And if Torin had asked nicely I would have come down, but he yelled at me and that made me upset so I threw waterballoons at him, but at least I only threw the water-filled ones at him.." She let the sentence die out. She would not apologize though. He deserved what he got.

Torin smiled as Vindi asked her to apologize... but that smile turned into a frown as she said he had yelled at her. That wasn't true at all.

"If I remember correctly, I didn't yell but told you that it was against the rules. And then you called me dumb." Which was very rude 'cause he wasn't.

"Well you raised your voice. And only a dumb guy would raise his voice to a lady." She flattened out a wrinkle in her skirt. "Maybe I'm wrong, I just assumed you understood how to be a gentleman. Pardon my mistake." That young ladies academy had rubbed off on her after all.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa! Time out!" exclaimed Vindictus. "Dani, you know that flying on the grounds is against the rules. If you bothered to attend the last Flying lesson, you could have flown your broom then and not have gotten into trouble." He took a deep breath. I will be calm. I will be calm. "You need to apologize to Torin immediately and mean it."

Dani frowned. "I couldn't go to the last flying lesson." She loved flying. Trying to muster up the feeling to apologize, she muttered at Torin. "Sorry." She didn't feel sorry though, so it was hard. Lying was a bad thing to do. She frowned even more at the ground. Ughh.

Dani was rude and she didn't even mean the apology. But at this point he didn't really care all that much anymore. He was wet and cold and he wanted to get changed.

Dani looked at Torin. "I'm sorry I threw waterballoons at you and I promise not to do it again in the near future." She couldn't promise forever. She looked at Vindictus. "Okay?" It wasn't so much attitude as matter-of-fact.

"But I didn't ignore him. I just asked him if he knew how to be polite. Like I said if he had asked me to get off my broom instead of ordering I'd have done it." The statement was perfectly true and made sense to her.

He took a deep breath. I will be calm. I will be calm. "Okay, Dani. I understand that you didn't ignore him but were a little upset at how he spoke to you. Now in the future, will you do what a Prefect asks you to do despite the tone of their voice or how they ask you to follow the rules?" Vindictus asked Dani. Her answer will determine her punishment.

Dani shrugged. "I guess.." She thought for a moment. "Even if they make me feel insulted?" She wanted to be clear on what she was agreeing to. No making promises that she couldn't keep.

At this point, Torin was happy that Dani had finally apologized to him, but then she and Vindi started talking to each other, and he figured that it might be bast if he just stood there quietly at least for now.

"Yes, even if you feel like you've been insulted," Vindictus said and looked at Torin. "Prefects never intend to insult anyone, especially when they're trying to look after you and remind you about the rules."

He looked at Torin. "Do you accept Dani's apology?"

At first he was tempted to tell Vindi that he didn't just because he was still annoyed at her for getting him wet. But that would be bad as him as a Prefect, and she was sorry. "I do. As long as she says she won't do that again." He frowned as he looked down at his wet clothes.

Dani shrugged. "Okay.." She smiled at him. "So, are we all good now?" Now that she wasn't being ordered around by bossy know-it-alls she was in a fairly good mood. She wondered what Warren was doing back at the playground.

He smiled now that she said she wouldn't do it again. "Well, that's good enough for me." And she better make sure she kept her promise, or she would be a liar. And she didn't seem to be a liar to him, so that wouldn't be cool at all.

Dani nodded. "Yes professor." Then she saw Warren. "No! You dunderhead! Do you not pay attention at all?!" She stomped her foot. Realizing that she still had waterballoons in her pocket, she tossed one up at him. Too late she realized it wasn't full of water. Oops. Bring on the goo...
