... but about the grounds? Snort. Turning around slightly to be able to look at the girl, Sebastian cocked one fair eyebrow upwards. "Yes, it's all wonderful. Until you understand this is all full of germs, until you realise the teachers know less about all of this than you, and that all the students are absolutely unbearable." Pretty much, this was everything Sebastian thought of Hogwarts. And that about him being Mr. Wonderful? Well, at least this student seemed start. |

Hearing the sadness in Evan's voice when he said he was a third year Marie told him, "Hey, third year can't be that bad, besides I bet we will still have some classes together just like last year." Then again, maybe that wasn't what he wanted. Quote:

"Umm, you underestimate this place, Mr. Wonderful or whatever your name is..." Surely not a way to introduce each other, but whatever...let's take this to whatever level of weirness is let. "We came here to learn, from whatever source we have, it doesn't have to be professors all the time, you know..." She referred to books, then practice. "And germs are part of your everyday life, just relax..." She dealt with them everyday playing soccer. |
I'm sorry :/ Quote:
He eyed her. Are you French? he asked completely seriously. No striped t-shirt; no beret; no onions around the neck; no 'ooh la la'. hehe. She didn't look French. I know nothing about this school... Care to share? He asked her with interest. |

Yes, he was hoping that if he talked to enough people before Christmas, his parents would let them join Woodson at Eton College and end his punishment. "I never underestimate things. Last year has given me experience enough to know what it is I'm talking about." Sebastian stated firmly, as he always did. He was always sure of what he said. "The library?" She was talking about the library, was he not? "I know for a fact that the library is highly unsatisfactory." Woodson has said so. Woodson. He needed to write to his twin brother. That comment about the germs didn't even deserve a reply. Diseases were also a part of your everyday life, but it didn't mean you had to like them. |

In actuality, it wasn't something he had put much thought into before as, with most things, he often took the story for face-value: Hamlet was visited by ghosts. But wait, was there something more to that? Chaucer stole a quick glance at Severia, who stared back expectantly. Alas! I feel as though I am in an inquisition! What will happen if I fail to respond with some enlightening perspective? A woman's wrath doth beat the rack, they say. And it was a good rhyme as long as one emphasized the 'rah'- sound and not the -- but no, he didn't have time to linger on such trivialities. Come now brain, formulate an opinion already or I shall be forced to strain you with advanced potion formulae later! "Ahem - yes, I think that it is a sort of 'alpha male' sort of quarrel. Hamlet feels as though it was his right to follow after his father and ... well this inner desire took a physical form in his delusions. I believe his life of relative isolation as royalty led to his strange ... ah, supressed emotional state. His father was like a keystone that kept everything together for him and once it was pulled, the barricade simply toppled!" Now that he had said it, Chaucer was inclined to believe it was quite a fine response and decided to treat himself with another goblet of juice. |

"I'm Anna and be pleased that I bear of your weird way to make this place unbearable, now I feel doomed..." She introduced herself and looked towards the windows, out for the grounds, resting her head against her hands. |

Art watched as Chaucer stared at the ceiling."Beowulf is a good story. Did you read it in its original form? That is best by far." he noted. Art watched intently as Chaucers face became serious. He is getting to the good part... Masses of clothing no, I didn't think Chaucer would have that. Art chuckled a little. At his add-on Art giggled,"But matches are fun, so is fire." Poor Chaucer, he actually had a 'monster' in his closet. Whoa what? A turkey!? Are you pulling my leg? He is scared of turkeys!? Wonder what he does at Thanksgiving then. Art surpressed the desire to laugh histarically. "So you actually had a turk....er 'monster' in your closet. Hmm, your mum jinxed you." he smiled. Turkey! No can't laugh he is really scared of turkeys..........Hahahahaha!!! Turkeys! No stop. "I wish that I would have had one in my closet.....for some strange reason boggarts used to run from me as a child.....they would panick at the sight of me. I never understood that. Well I am sorry that you had a bad encounter, I can see why you would have....'screamed and shamed a banshee.'Art tried to say with a straight face. Quote:
"I am more than happy to help you with anything that you need. CoMC is my best and favorite class, besides potions." he added with a smile. I get paid in hugs. "I'm glad Nattie." Art smiled. Nyxie will definetly love her, probably her owl too. "You already are Nattie." Art beamed at her. |

The girl was much quieter now. One would think that the truth had finally dawned on her and that she had realied just how wrong she had been to enrol in this school. What? Sebastian was not mean! He simply did not like people walking around fooled, thinking this was wonderful. Actually, that was a lie. Sebastian Whitcomb didn't care about anyone else. "It is not my fault, you know? You would realise it sooner or later." He simply replied to the girl, with a nonchalantly shrug of his broad shoulders. "I'm Sebastian. Sebastian Whitcomb. Run away from this place if you can, Miss Anna." |

She looked around the Great Hall, towards the Staff table and all, "You see, I can't give up this place, it's been what I've dreamt of all my life, ever since I made dad's face turn purple and make him look like a blueberry," Nice memory it was, of her first magical moment. " and seriously, going for three years on homeschooling is boring enough to make this place look wonderful, even if I miss my Muggle life." She said, remembering something else, soccer. "See you around, Mr. Wonderful..." Annie said, patting the boy's back and walking off the table, "...and do have a nice first night back at the castle" A meantful wish, really. |

But wait now... Bogles ran from him? Was it some sort of natural repellant? Chaucer thought briefly and chuckled to himself at the idea that perhaps Art had charateristics that happened to combine all the things bogles feared. But still, what a curious thing to want a bogle. "Wait, wait I see. It's like the story of the man who couldn't shiver! Well in a way... am I remembering it right? Well anyway, it ended with a fish going into someone's shirt." He waved his hand dismissively. Quote:
Severia had asked him a question, hadn't she? How did he like Hogwarts? "Well it does fine by me in the looks department" though the place does look a lot like a mess hall at present... "but I can't very well give a good response. The faculty is the lifeblood of any insitution and I haven't met a one yet!" |

Oh Merlin. He now realized what this meant. This was not going to be fun. "This means.." he couldn't believe it. The thing he did not want to happen ever since he met this girl, just happened. "I'm going to be stuck..with you! For seven years!" He will owl his parents. Maybe he could transferred to Drumstrung. |

"Goodbye, Miss Anna." And just as soon as he said that, and cringing away from her pat, Sebastian turned back to the table. Why hadn't this ended already? |
Quote:
"I won't do fine here," she said with her head still on the table. Then she looked back up at him. "The book doesn't even matter anymore," she said her face not even changing in expression. He couldn't make her feel any worse then she already felt. Then she smiled slightly. "It does mean that doesn't it?" she said, her spirits no more raised then they were. It was going to take a lot before she felt right. Here in front him was not that bubbly 11 year old on the train. "I am so depressed," she stated to Parker, looking back down at her empty plate. |

"Hello." Evelyn muttered and nodded towards the girl. A firstie by the looks of it. Stretching her back, she sighed and was just about to give a more proper greeting when there was a really loud sneeze up front and some guy was standing on his chair. Wasn't he a little old to be doing that? Well, at least the Headmaster, supposedly, was making the speech. ..... ... Aaand, that was it? Really? "That was...inspirational." Pffft. Snorting, she looked towards Destiny to see her reaction to the Headmaster's 'speech'. Oh well, at least they could eat finally right? Foooood. Now to just not look over at the Hufflepuff table... |
Art smiled as Severia inserted herself into the conversation. "That is exactely what my father believes to be the truth of the matter." " My mother and I always preferred the beautiful dreams though."He smiled softly. Dear one? Whoa Chauce, I'm not a girl, that is a bit creepy. I don't think thats something one dude should say to another dude. Art watched as Chaucer stared at the ceiling."Beowulf is a good story. Did you read it in its original form? That is best by far." he noted. Art watched intently as Chaucers face became serious. He is getting to the good part... Masses of clothing no, I didn't think Chaucer would have that. Well I am sorry that you had a bad encounter, I can see why you would have....'screamed and shamed a banshee.'Art tried to say with a straight face. "A boggart ran from you?! That's peculiar. I may be thinking too much into this, I do that quite often, but perhaps that means that your biggest fear is being deserted by others. My boggart always takes the form of myself in a wedding gown. Though, right now I'm not sure if wouldn't become an empty plate that couldn't be filled!" Severia said before she sipped pumpkin juice from her goblet. |

Was that a smile Parker saw? Yes it was! But he didn't care..no..no way. "Umm, right." His sorta happy moment disappeared as soon as it came. "Maybe you should eat. Food will help." He picked up a plate and piled food on it, then handed it to Thalia. He didn't know what half that was, he just piled it on. Why was he being nice to her? |

Art gave Chaucer a quizzical stare. A fish in someones shirt?.......What in the world is he getting at?.....Chaucer you can be a strange one.... "I really have no idea why they ran from me. I tried to catch one once when I was seven , but it seemed that I frightened it too badly. I never knew bogles feared humans. My mother told me that it was because I was fearless. My father, after his shock, laughed and said it was because the boggart knew that I was crazy." Art said musing. He gave a look equivalent to scrathing his head. "I suppose that I will never know. he shrugged. She was quick - Wilde always said it was important to shift topics of conversation. When a fruit is on a branch too long after all, it over ripens and is ruined; yet another stunning allegory. How I do love my craftiness! Chaucer stifled a self-satisfied grin. "You read my mind girl! I was about to declare 'clean cup, clean cup - move down!' myself, but I'm not sure whether that would have been appreciated." Chaucer knew that he wouldn't have appreciated it if someone else did it, but then he fancied himself better able to handle such eccentric behaviour. Or are references to Alice in Wonderland considered tacky these days? Severia had asked him a question, hadn't she? How did he like Hogwarts? "Well it does fine by me in the looks department" though the place does look a lot like a mess hall at present... "but I can't very well give a good response. The faculty is the lifeblood of any insitution and I haven't met a one yet!"
Art had been barely listening to Chaucer and Severia's conversation until he heard the most wonderful quote that Chaucer had ever made , while around him. He was quoting Alice in Wonderland! The Mad Hatter at that. Art immediately grinned like the Cheshire cat and softly called out ,"Clean cup, clean cup, move down, move down!". Grinning at Chaucer he exclaimed, "Why is a Raven like a writng desk?" Chaucer had, unwittingly, gained Art's full attention. He was in love with Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass. He had always wanted to be the Cheshire Cat. |

"That I won yes. You're a loser," she said looking up at him and raising and eyebrow. Why was he being so nice to her? This was weird. It wouldn't be long before she got over this Slytherin thing. Then they would go back to hating each other. She watched as he put food in front of her. "Ugh...I suppose you may be right," Thalia mused. Wait. He wasn't right. He was never right. She just rolled her eyes. |
