Tyler grinned and nodded. "I heard there's a candy store here," he made an evil face and rubbed his hands together. Oh yes. Tyler loved candy and sweets, but then he didn't know why he rejected Lucy's cupcake that day. But he was glad he did. "Let's go there!"

"Weirdo," Jake said darkly, and kind of hypocritically, not elaborating on it. He knew it wasn't nice to call people weird, but it also wasn't nice to burn peoples' possessions. Shrugging back at the boy, Jake rubbing the back of his head, messing his hair up before flattening it again as he stared up and down the street.

Ohhhh dear. It looked like wandering around was on the agenda...

"I thuhh-think if wwwe... just wuhh-walk..."

They'd get even more lost.

Sounds like a plan!

Stopping dead in his tracks, Jake stared at the girl straight ahead. The one from Lawson's office. His brow furrowing, Jake rubbed at the back of his neck and avoided eye contact. She'd seen him cry and he'd shouted at her... something he'd felt bad for... but stiiiiill.

"'M fine," the boy mumbled, glancing at Tibi as if to say OHMYMERLIN! HALP! "Are yuhh-you?" Jake asked the girl. What had Lawson said to her? Had he upset her? Was he in super big trouble now?

Oh noes.

Elisabeta smiled and said "Yeah let's go to Honeydukes Tyler"

Hello random. Tibi looked at Jake and then the unknown girl that had just approached them, and then back to Jake.

"Erm. Hi." Tibi took a step forward so he was right next to Jake. "We're... fine." Did they not look fine?

Out of the corner of his eye, Tibi spotted the Hog's Head. They could escape into there if need be... yeah? Hm. Turning his attention back to the girl, he noticed Jake's expression. Yeah. Escape soon. Now just think up a reason...

Gee, this was awkward.

This teenager has Sidney scared to death now. "It's cool. I just wanted to say I'm so sorry about the door. I just wanted to make sure I hadn't hurt you badly. I tend to be a klutz sometimes. I'm usually only a danger to myself." What do I do if this guy starts yelling at me. This was so a bad idea.

Fixing his t-shirt, Adam shivered slightly and regretted not bringing a jacket. But oh well, he was NOT walking back to the Castle now, and it wasn't that cold. Flicking his fringe out of his eyes, he pulled out his wand and moved it in a large circle before him, concentrating hard on white and pink daisies in his head. "Orchideous!" he whispered, and the flowers appeared in his hand. He looked at them, and smiled approvingly, because he knew Lori would love them.

At least, he hoped.

As he waited for her to arrive, Adam decided to have a little bit more fun. In his mind, he pictured butterflies, and decided to try the spell non-verbally. Because he should be able to do it. After all, he was nearly seventeen! Even if he had been kept behind a year!

Papilio! he though, waving his wand before him. But he was NOT pleased with the result. Moths?! No, that wasn't what he'd wanted. Thinking for a moment, he decided to try again. This time, verbally.

"Pape- no. Papilio!" he whispered, and the butterflies flew out of the tip of his wand. Eleven of them. Now that was an achievement. For Adam, anyway.

As long as they didn't eat the flowers... .

Oh dear, this seemed... Ohhhh dear.

One thing Jake did NOT want was a Tibi shaped shield. Well, he didn't want there to be any need for one. When Tibi answered, Jake nodded his head in agreement. Yes. Fine. Everything was fine.

You'd need an axe to cut the tension, but everything was fiiiine.

When the young girl spoke, Jake looked sharply at her. He tended to forget that he wasn't that young anymore. He wasn't able to get away with being defensive without seeming mean or aggressive. Especially around younger kids.

But yes... he didn't know that.

"You ddddidn't... hurt... me," he said slowly and quietly, trying to keep his cool and not stutter. Why was he getting mad anyway?

Oh. She'd seen him WEAKEN.

"I duhh-don't lllike people ssstaring at mmme," he added, voice getting a little more urgent. That's what she had done... and she was doing it now. "Thuhh-that's all."

What in the name of Merlin's six-toed kittycat was happening here?

"So, um. Yeah." Tibi tugged on Jake's sleeve. "We've got that.. thing. Remember? We're gonna be late." Sure, it probably sounded sketchy, but Jake was getting worked up.

And though he would be loathe to admit it, and if you asked him, he'd deny it in a second, flat... after the last time he saw Jake get worked up, he would worry about it happening again.

"It was, uh, nice to meet you..." girl-person without a name.

Come on... Jake.

If this was Harry, I'd tell him to stick it in his ear. I'll stare at you if I want to, but this isn't my brother. Sidney looks away. She starts tearing up. "I'm sorry I bothered you. I was just concerned."

Lorelai giggled as she wound a bit of hair round her finger and chuckled to herself. It was too COLD. She hadn't wrapped up, thinking the sun outside had meant that it would be HOT. Stupid decieving ball of fire.

Clipping her heels along the street, she looked around for the person that had INVITED her to come here with him. Not the other way round, as he or anyone else who had heard the conversation would say. Merlin. Why on EARTH were there so many students here? Obviously they all had no lives, like alot of other people. Not including her.

FINALLY. There he stood, his back to her, some random bloody butterflies fluttering round him, and she hoped; some more flowers for her.

Giggling again, she creeped behind him, and rolled ontop her tiptoes to lean and cover his eyes. "Them flutterby's your homework?"

Hehe.

"I duhh-don't nnneed people to buhh-be concerned," Jake said plainly, looking pretty... well, evil. What WAS it with this kid? He'd seen her twice and already she was bringing out the worst in him.

THIS WAS SO AWKWARD.

Directing his gaze now directly to the floor, shamelessly, Jake scowled and kicked at the cobbles.

This was going well.

"Luhh-lawson was ccconcerned about muhh-me... Luhh-look what I wwwent and ddddid to huhh-him..."

Of course, Jake totally KNEW that the girl didn't know that.

It just... slipped out.

"What?" Jake looked up at Tibi, a look of distracted annoyance on his face, mixed with confusion. "Whuh-what are yuhhh-you t-..."

Ohhhhhhh.

"Ohhhhhhh."

That.

"That."

Jake nodded once, and immediately wandered off in the direction Tibi had been looking earlier, waiting for the younger boy to take the lead to wherever he wanted to go. Looking once over his shoulder, Jake decided to... well... try and be a little nice. He couldn't see that the girl was about to cry... but he was taught never to just LEAVE.

"Luhh-later... errr... kuhh-kid..."

This time, his voice was a little lighter, but when he turned toward where he was actually walking, his face fell and he went pale.

Why did he feel like he was reeeeally close to getting disasterously angry?

YEAH. YEAH it was TIME to GO.

Tibi's eyes got really wide at mention of Lawson and he tugged on his friend's sleeve again.

Relieved when the boy realized what he was doing, Tibi headed toward the Hog's Head, looking back over at the girl.

"See you.. around maybe." He felt like a total heel, but Jake was getting angry and that was no good. No no good. And so that won over being polite.

"Let's go... sit and have a drink?" He led the way to the door, and rested his hand against it.

A nice, relaxing drink.

What he did to Professor Lawson? Not another conspiracy nutter! I'm so sorry I ever came to Hogwarts. Dad said it was a wonderful place. Everyone would be so friendly. So far the headmaster hates me. I've made this kid mad at me, and... and.... Sidney digs her nails into the palms of her hand. Hopefully that will keep her from crying. She is not going to cry in front of these guys. Sidney ignores the blond guy and turns her attention to the other one. "Sorry I bothered you. It was nice talking to you. My name is Sidney, Sidney Marlowe." She extends her hand to the other guy. Bad manners is not excust for you to behave badly too.

Managing a weird sort of half-smile, Jake reached out for the door of the pub as well, and pushed it in. He didn't want to feel like any kind of invalid or whatever.

So yeah, leaving the young girl behind, Jake entered the dingy looking pub.

He needed to sit DOWN.

Tibi looked back over his shoulder as the girl spoke again.

"Nice to meet you Sidney, Sidney Marlowe." He raised his hand in a half-wave.

And with that, he followed Jake into the pub, leaving the girl in the street.

Sidney waves as the boy leaves. "What's your name?"

As the door closed behind him, he was barely aware that the girl had asked him his name.

Tiberius, your mother would be ashamed.

Turning back, he thought to call it to her. "Tib--"

But the door closed in his face with a thud.

Sigh. Miranda had been hoping to stay indoors, just huddled up on a couch and staring into the fireplace. But she had a tryout later that day and she couldn't just sit and do nothing. Miranda was a Captain, for Merlin's sake - she had to act like one. Stop acting like an idiot...

But she was glad she had gotten outside, the fresh air was making her relax and forget about the tiresome events. And now she was on her way to Honeydukes to buy some more chocolate. She had unfortunately run out of those little frogs when she needed them the most.

Maybe she'd pop into the Hog's Head and get that free...whatever she'd gotten. The coupon was in her little purse...maybe she'd spot a friend or two in there aswell. Hmmm... She'd seen others getting coupons for a piece of cake...maybe she'd gotten one too? Her memory was goofy and she took it out to read it. If there was cake involved, she'd definitely get a chocolate one.

Free Butterbeer... "Awww..." Miranda made a sullen face, which then turned into one of surprise as she accidentally bumped into something - or someone, dropping her coupon. "Sh...sorry!" Miranda said quickly and bent down to pick up her piece of paper, not noticing who it was.

Blowing at the butterflies as they began to buzz well, not buzz, but whatever butterflies did around Lori's flowers, Adam hopped that just blowing would scare them away. It didn't, obviously, but Adam wasn't to know that. "Go, away!" he growled under his breath, glaring at them. But the bloody purple things just wouldn't go away. URGH!

Feeling cold hands over his face, Adam almost jumped, and then heard a voice in his ear. Spinning around caused the hands to fall, and he grinned down at Lori. "Hey there," he whispered, handing her the flowers.

And completely ignoring her question. Ooops.

Rafe wondered the street, not sure where to go or if he really needed anything. But, it was nice to get out. His social life wasn't as active as it usually was. He'd hardly seen any of his friends. He'd gone to tryouts and the hospital wing, but that was all business and no fun. He didn't know what to do exactly, but Hogsmeade was usually active at this time and he was incredibly bored. Maybe he's run into a familiar face.

Enid walked out of The Three Broomsticks and onto Hogsmeade's Main Street with a rather distracted and thoughtful expression on her young face. That last conversation she'd just had with Layla had left her a bit dazed, and she found herself bumping into a few people here and there as she walked down the crowded streets. "Sorry," she muttered after crashing into some old lady she'd never seen before.

She opted it was best to get her mind off that conversation and distract herself looking at the various items set on display behind the windows of each shop. She slowed her pace and let her large green eyes roam over the shops, coming to a halt by a broomshop that had up on display some of the latest, fastest - and of course, most expensive brooms out in the wizarding world.

Becca, not sure if she would actually buy anything, or just window shop walked around in a daze at all of the wonderful products in the stores' window displays. Not paying any attention as she was staring at the newest book in her favorite series from across the street, she bumped into someone, knocking her out of her trance. "Oh, gosh I'm so sorry!" Becca said as she collected herself.

Enid, who had been in a bit of a daze as she examined the brooms and nearly fainted at seeing their prices, was snapped out of it as another girl came over and nearly knocked her off her feet. Startled, Enid turned to the newcomer and watched as she recollected herself. "It's alright," she said quietly, letting her green eyes take a moment to examine the girl's uniform to realize she was a Ravenclaw. "Bumping into people is the most commonly used greeting in Hogsmeade, y'know," she added casually, as if they were talking about shaking hands or something of the sort.

Warr Polly (Bushie) strolled out to Hogsmeade. Ah.... She thought, taking it all in. Only if they had all this out in the desert... The Aussie made her way down the street wearing only a scanty camo sleeveless shirt and baggy slacks. This was corker! If only the goods weren't so exy (expensive)....her parents thought she was too untrustworthy to give any money too.

Unconsciously, Bushie put her hand through her dyed spiked black hair and looked around. 'Twas a bummer if all the Pommy's round here were boring. She wondered if anyone was gonna give her the drum on why everyone around here was so unsociable and start talking.

All this thinking happened without the grin leaving her face.

Becca watched as the girl nearly went flying and instantly felt the color rise to her cheeks. "Good, I'm glad you're okay." Becca said. "Is it really? I didn't know that. Well in that case... Hi, Rebecca Latrowski. But call me Becca please." she added and then held her hand out.
