Wriggling and writhing was about the only thing Muffin could do, Evolette had a pretty tight hold on him, not letting, for a moment, for him to escape, and have ANY FUN.

Evolette broke into a wide smile, charming as always, "Why thank you Mr. McVeigh." she replied, batting her eyelashes briefly, for good measure. "That was rather lovely of you." As if she HAD NOT told him to say it. Of course.

Ahem.

Muffin mewed, eyeing the boy with interest. He had to have his approval before he could allow this conversation to continue, and for that to happen, he would have to get a sniff of this boy. Wiggling up, and getting free of Evolette's grasp, he pounced to the ground, landing on all fours, of course, and rubbing against the boys leg. PICK ME UPPPPPPPP!

"Meow?"

Funny how Livvy had screamed back, they looked like siblings separated form each other. Via felt herself being squished yet she didn't care, she returned the favour and hugged LIvvy as tight as she could... Eeeeeppp... that's just how she missed her. Releasing her from the hug, "I can't believe it... i thought i wouldn't see you again..." Realising how long they haven't seen each other, "Goodness Livvy, you've grown," she joked her. "I've been having a great time wandering around. I've been trying to stop time... You see," she sniffled in a joke. "I am now a fifth year and in no time i'll be leaving the school."

Lucille's eyes widened as she saw it...A Maze???!! That was amazing! Then she nearly choked to death laughing at her own joke...maze...amazing...get it?
She was still chuckling as she set off towards it. Wow. Her father had never told her anything about a maze! Baybe it was new? She loved things like this.

Sarah had been wandering around the grounds, mind not completely in the here and now, when she suddenly came face to....maize.

Wait what?!?!

Stopping abruply, she spun round to see that there was walls of maize all over the place.Almost like it was a maze.Fascinating.
She raised her eyebrows as she studied the stucture, trying to work out what the heck it was doing there, and why Mr Masterson had felt the need to build it.Then she heard voices coming from inside, but she couldn't quite see who it was talking.Raising her voice she called out to anyone and no-one. "Why am I surrounded by maize?! Help."

And will I get lost in it.I always get lost in mazes. *lesigh*

It seemed like ages since she had last seen Via. Must've been years... decades... centuries... a millennium... an ERA. And Livvy wasn't one bit over-exaggerating. It had been forever since she saw that perky grin and that wavy brown hair that bounced every so often and had been the center of Livvy's envy. Her hair was just... boring.

Laughing delightedly, she squeezed the girl as hard as she could and pulled away from her with a large grin on her face, all the color rushing back to her face. It was as if all the horrible things that happened in the summer was forgotten. It was still there. But had drifted away from the time being. "I thought you like transferred or something. I haven't seen or heard of you!" Livvy said, almost incredulously and a hint of disbelief could be heard in her voice.

Livvy chuckled at Via's joke and rolled her eyes slightly. "You've grown quite a bit, yourself. OOH. Stop time. Really? How delightful. What a tricky method you have," she said, winking at her. "By any chance you'd like to share poor, sixth year me, this time stopping method?" her eyes sparkling with laughter as her bottom lip puckered into a pout.

Having reached out a hand to touch the corn on the edge of the maze, Adrienne suddenly blinked as her contemplation was broken by the arrival of more students. Feeling a little embarrassed, she spun around to see a few girls, and one boy who looked like he was a first year. "Oh! I'm sorry, hi," she said, still feeling out of place. But then she realized most of them seemed to have stopped paying attention to her, and she sighed. Oh well, she thought, before realizing there were voices coming from inside. People had already gone in.

"Well, I guess it's safe to go inside," she said randomly, not figuring anyone even realized she was still there. And the observation was dumb anyway, considering she was fairly certain Mr. Masterson had created the maze, and he'd have no reason to put them in danger. "If I don't come back soon, send someone for help," she joked. Just in case someone was still paying attention, and she got lost inside. And then, she slipped through the entry, surrounding herself in the cornstalks as she started exploring the maze.

She had just started her year with another bang for meeting Livvy in this awesome field of CORN STALKS. She knew there were a lot of news to be shared but the time they had in there wasn't enough. "Why would i transfer?" she laughed. "Because of the boredom i feel sometimes?" She have to admit those times. "Of course i'll tell you whenever i feel like one. But my sister wants me to graduate here before we totally move back to Chicago." Livvy still doesn't know about her sister.

"I was getting fat wasn't i?" she asked her in whisper. She didn't want the others to know. She chuckled. "I should start my diet soon." In fact she wasn't really fat. "I still don't know how to do it." she shook her head. "My... a sixth year. And you'll be leaving the school first," she smirked. "We're getting old dude. I don't like it." She hadn't laughed like that for months.

"Wanna go for the maze? We can talk about stuffs while we search for our way out. Besides..." she grinned. "Getting lost is kinda fun sometimes."

Lyra looked behind her after she had walked in the maze of corns but saw nothing but plants around her. The second year listened to the sounds and noticed someone screaming for help. Chuckling slightly and hoping that she wouldn't need any help she walked further until she didn't hear the others talking anymore.

She went , left, right, left again, ran a little bit forward and stopped catching her breath before continueing. Right again , left......waaaaaait! these were EATABLE! corns right?! Lyra stood on her toes and grabbed a corn, examining it closely before taking a bite. It was tasty though, she wondered why she never had corn at home....

After taking a few bites Lyra tossed the corn aside and decided to walk back again. She walked right, left , left, right.......dead end? She walked back again and when right..or no was it left? yea left. After a few steps she turned right again and walked on a straight path for a couple of minutes before turning left. Didn't this place look familiar? Well duh the whole place looked familiar! . Slightly, no scratch that, really panicking , Lyra looked around her surroundings and tried to hear the people talking but couldn't hear them anymore. She sighed deeply and grabbed her wand wanting to make a red light in to the air but then she rememberd......she didn't know how.
Great! why must you always go around and exploring things without someone with you?! she mumbled to herself and took a deep breath and started to shout , hoping that anyone would hear her little 12 year old lungs "EEEEH! GUUUUUUYS?! VIVIANNE? RAYEDEM? well those were basically the only two names she had knew right now...ANYONE? PLEASE SHOUT SOMETHING, I DON'T WANNA SLEEP HERE TONIGHT...wait i'm missing something..oh yea! .. OH AND HELP?" she shouted and started to laugh like mad.

Why is there a ... corn maze on the grounds?

He stared at the thing not sure if he wanted to enter it or not. It did look like fun. But he might get lost. And he wanted to go with Xanderman. For some reason the idea of running through a corn maze with him seemed like an awesome idea.

But where was he?

Reese walked down to the grounds in search for the one and only Torin Kane. She hasn't seen that boy since the opening feast and that seemed like AGES ago. Okay, maybe it has just been a day or two, but not seeing Torin for that long made her sad.

As she continued walking, she spotted something she has never seen before at Hogwarts. Was that - a corn maze? Ohmygosh. IT WAS! Her face brightened up as she start towards the maze and as she got closer and closer, she spotted someone standing near the entrance of the maze.

It was Torin.

"Torin!" She exclaimed as she ran over to him. "Where have you been, sweetie?"

He jumped suddenly as he heard the one person that he didn't really want to talk to right at the moment. He would rather wait the few days until she was back to normal again. But wait.. she would want to kill him then.

"I was... um... around?" Why couldn't she go away? Suddenly the corn maze seemed rather appealing.

Reese glanced towards the entrance of the maze. What was the possibility of her getting lost in that thing? Hmm. That was a really good question. She looked back at Hotty McHotty when the boy starting answering her question.

"Around?" She repeated. "I haven't seen you around. I've been like searching everywhere for you!" He has probably been with Brody and in that case, she was sort of glad that she didn't find him. That girl scared her, especially since she wanted to punch her the last time they met.

Yes, there was a reason why she didn't see him around much. Him hiding away from her. But he wouldn't tell her that. He didn't want to hurt her and it wasn't her fault that she was acting this way.

"Er, have you seen Jack around?" he asked her lamely. "You know, your boyfriend? The guy you like? "I need to talk to him about something."

Reese shook her head at Torin's question. "No, I haven't seen him," she replied. "I haven't seen him since the opening feast." She crossed her arms and then she looked at all the people in the area around her. She knew some of the people that were here and others she didn't know. Giving everyone a little smile, she turned back to Torin.

"You want to go in the maze?" She asked him, without even asking him why he needed to talk to Jack. He probably needed to try again and tell Jack that she didn't really like Torin (like Hotty McHotty had said at the feast) and that she really liked him.

Psssh. The lies! She really did like Torin.

"Oh," he replied looking rather disappointed. Where was that boy? Was he moping around the castle now feeling down and depressed? Probably. Poor Jack. "Look, Reese... I think that you really are better off with Jack." He had to try to reason with her.

"And I dunno.. I mean I have studying to do," he added weakly. not that he thought that this would work with her.

Adrienne, after heading into the maze, had been making sure to keep going to the right as much as possible. She had heard that somewhere, as a way to make sure you didn't get lost in mazes, and so she'd kept her right hand out a little, brushing against the corn "wall" lightly and helping her hopefully keep on the right track. That was just what she needed, anyway. her to get lost in a corn maze at the beginning of term, and then Riley to find out about it. He'd have a feild day with that one, if he didn't go straight for feigned confusion on how his "robot" sister got lost.

Shortly after arriving at what she thought was near the center of the maze, however, she suddenly heard someone yelling for help. Is that that girl who had tried to talk to me earlier, but then went in the maze before I realized it?, she thought, trying to gauge where the yelling was coming from. It seemed like it was coming from somewhere to her left, and, feeling like she was risking getting lost herself, she set off running, as the yelling dissolved into hysterical laughter. After several turns, she finally came out into the area the girl was in, and stopped running, breathing deep for a few seconds. "Nobody's going to leave anyone to sleep out here tonight," she finally said, glancing around as she tried to figure out exactly where they were. She had no idea, but the same idea she'd been following before should still work. Or at least that's what she thought. Turning to try and get back into her tactic of continuing to the right, she stepped over near the one side of the pathway in the corn, then looked at the girl. "Okay, hopefully I can get us out of here," she said, sensing her own uncertainty. "Just keep trying to stay with me," she added. At least, if we got lost again, it would be easier to find two than one, right? As she started walking again, she turned to the girl, hoping she decided to follow her. "I'm Adrienne, by the way. Sorry about earlier."

Lyra had stop yelling for help and her laughter had died away too. She had the feeling that she was too far away from the edge for someone to hear her. Well atleast she had enough food she thought and looked around at the corns. Sighing , Lyra decided to drop down and sit on the ground. She grabbed some dirt with her hands and tossed it away , she did this without even realising it because her mind was set at the Common Room. Why had Evan ran away from her , had he been tired? or was it Lyra herself?. Feeling slightly lonely now that Evan was no where in sight, Lyra started to think she was extremely stupid for exploring the grounds without him. Lyra placed her head in her hands, She had forgotten that her hands had been dirty from tossing away dirt so now she had dirt on her cheeks. Cursing under her breath, Lyra grabbed her long robe and started to rub it against her face, trying to take the dirt off.

A sound closeby made Lyra stop what she was doing and she heard a voice saying that no one was going to sleep here. The second year turned around to see the girl that she had said hi to but hadn't said a hi back. Did she went and find Lyra ? or is it just coincidence that she found her here? Ah it didn't matter to Lyra cause now she could get out of this maze ...hopefully.
Lyra stood up from the place she had been sitting and grinned. "wow that was fast" she said at the girl and saw that she was looking around and had walked towards the place where she had came from. Lyra followed her footsteps and eventually walked beside her. "Sorry to be a pain" she mumbled. "I am way too curious, i just couldn't help it to explore this maze" Lyra made a fake laugh and continued walking, hoping that the girl knew what the way back was when another thought came in her mind. This was her first day at school and she got lost in a corn field......how stupid was that?..... "It's Ok and I'm Lyra" she said trying very hard not to laugh out loud again but failed. She laughed for a few moments, it was a weird habit when she got nervous. And right now she was very nervous.

Adrienne smiled slightly as the girl commented on how fast she had been, wondering if she thought she'd been heard from all the way outside the maze. "Well, I was somewhere over there, inside the maze," she said, gesturing vaguely off to the right, hoping that was even the right direction. She'd made so many turns to find her that she wasn't entirely sure which direction she'd come from anymore. But she was still hoping she could find her way back out somehow. She turned again as the girl came over to her, and gave her a genuine smile. "It's okay. You're not being a pain. I'm sure anyone could get lost in here, and pretty much all of us are curious enough to venture in."

She could tell the laugh she'd heard from the girl after admitting her curiosity was fake, but it didn't bother her that much. There was no reason to fell she needed to joke about her curiosity, or even her embarrasment or whatever. It was what it was. But then, now that hse'd seen the girl better, she could tell she was a Slytherin, so maybe that was part of it. "Hi Lyra. It's nice to meet you," she said with a grin, "Even though the circumstances seem to be fairly strange." That was the world of Hogwarts for you. Strange meetings, strange events . . . She glanced back as Lyra started to laugh again, and couldn't help but smile with her. It really was kind of funny, the timing and everything. She'd pretty much had the same thoughts earlier, about the possibility of getting lost and needing rescue. And what people could think about it. "Hey, maybe if we're lucky, other people didn't hear, and you can just pass off getting out as an accomplishment, pretend all this didn't happen," she said, trying to reassure the younger girl as she kept walking. Things were starting to at least look more familiar to her, from before. So maybe they would get out before long.

"Why do you want to talk to Fritzera?" Reese simply asked Hotty McHotty. She crossed her arms and she looked up at the boy she liked very much. Why couldn't he just like her back the way she likes him? She sighed, knowing that Brody was the person that was making things difficult. If she was out of the way, then maybe Torin could actually know he feels the same way about her.

And people say Reese is the problem? Nah. It's Brody.

Better of with- "You're wrong," she answered back. "If I thought I was better off with Jack, I wouldn't have said what I told him at the feast. I don't like him..." She paused for a moment, then added, "I like you. Okay? Why can't you just see that I really do like you more than Jack Fritzera?" If he couldn't see that by her just telling him, then maybe a kiss will help...



She uncrossed her arms, then she leaned fowards and quickly kissed Torin on the lips. The kiss only lasted about 1 1/2 seconds (maybe even 2 seconds at the most), then she took a step back and just stared at Torin with her head slightly tilted to the side. "See," she said. "I do like you."

"Reese, for the hundredth time you like Jack more. You don't really like me. We're best friends. You're mean to me. You ratted out my crush to Professor Bunbury last Term. Remember that?" He was getting desperate now. But he didn't want to go to Kazi. He was scared to. But on the other hand he was a Potions Master. He was so conflicted.

His head was spinning when she... she... kissed him!!!

In shock, he started to back away from her. "Reese! You're like my sister! You don't kiss me." Now he was scarred for life.

Lyra kept walking beside Adrienne while they tried to find their way out. The second year had to admit that the maze wasn't as bad when you walked in it with someone else. However the longer they walked , Lyra legs started to get tired. After all she was only twelve and the girl beside her was alot older and had longer legs so that Lyra was forced to take bigger steps then normally to keep up with her. She was not going to complain though, it would be a sign of weakness and Lyra was too proud to show any of those signs.

Coughing slightly, Lyra started to walk further with bigger steps and could keep up with Adrienne. The Slytherin looked to her right at Adrienne and noticed that she had a badge with a Raven attached on her robe. "Your a Ravenclaw?" she asked and mentally slapped her forhead for such a stupid question. Duh, of course she was one! why else would she walk around with a Ravenclaw badge?

Lyra grinned broadly at what Adrienne was saying. Oh yea she would defenitely loved to tell that she hadn't get lost in the maze but still she was itching to tell Evan at the common room what had happend. But then she remembered that he had acted very strange so maybe that wasn't such a good idea. 'Ah, maybe it has passed away' she thought biting her lip slightly.
"Hey, i was wondering do you know who that odd lady was at the Hufflepuff table? the one who had been giving out cookies?" That wasn't really what she had been wondering but Lyra wanted to say something at least.

OH YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDINGGG.

Now there was an actual maze at Hogwarts? If Bianca was not lost enough, she now came to a maze! AHHHHHH. What was with this place? It was like no matter how hard Bianca tried to find her feet, she just continued getting lost. Deep breaths. Deep breaths.

Scuffing her feet Bianca looked up at the sky, and then, FLAILLLLL, she feel to the ground, landing just at someones feet. Uh, oops? She looked up with a hopeless grin on her face, hoping that whoever it was, wouldn't yell at her.

"Round and round here we go againnnnn." Oh my, this weird song was stuck in Blake's head since he stepped out on the Hogwarts Ground, singing it rather loudly, Blake skipped around the grounds, looking at the gorgeous green grass until........................ he saw a Maze, liiiaaak OMG! A Maze?

This is too good, he'll love to get lost in it, yeeeeaah. Skipping like a little kid, Blake gawked the huge corn maze, not able to believe his eyes. I meean, the groundskeeper must be verrrry crafty to do something of this sort.

Blake was gleaming with happiness, he took out his little hamster, Tazzie from his jeans pocket and stuck his tongue out at him, "Tazzie, we're at a maze, can you believe it? I feel like a 5 year old, liiaak toterly!"

Soo happy, he was just about to get in the maze and get lost when something dropped on his feet, "AAHHH!!" Blake screamed, took a few steps backward and fell down on the ground.

"Oh um, so sorry about the scream, you just popped from nowhere." He muttered and got up on his feet. Looking down at the lady, he offered her a hand like a gentleman. "Umm I'll pull you up, Miss.." He narrowed his eyes, ohh she has pretty blonde hair, I liaaakey.

LIvvy hadn't replied yet when Vivianne heard something. When she turned her gaze again back at the maze, Lyra had gone too far inside the maze and the sixth year she had greeted was gone. She was concerned with Lyra since the girl wanted to really explore the maze so she would have to excuse herself to Livvy.

"Ahemm, Livvy. I have to find someone else inside the maze... i better go," she signaled as she smiled at her friend. "I promise i'll see you around. It was so great seeing you again."

After saying those words she took her chance and moved inside the maze. The inside was the usual maze Via had seen so many times. She took a left... left...right...straight..left.. wait...

Uh... no way. She was lost herself. She started chuckling to ease the feeling of nervousness. If ever she couldn't find her way out, perhaps Mr. Masterson had a way of finding trap students inside the maze he had made. She pondered on that thought and she continued to walk. Still she didn't see anyone. She was looking for Lyra yet it seemed like she would have to scream now for help.

Lyra continued to walk further with Adrienne when something caught her attention. It sounded like a chuckle. Lyra looked at Adrienne wondering if she was the one who had made that sound but she showed no signs so Lyra had turned and looked around. She was pretty sure she had heard something. The second year reached her arm out and grabbed the older girl by her sleeve. Motioning her to stop walking. Lyra stood on her toes trying to look over the maïze but she was too small. "I think i heard someone...laugh" she whispered to Adrienne , wondering if the girl thought that Lyra had lost her min. And to be honest, Lyra was scared that she actually had lost her mind for the laugh had died away and it was silent again. She turned around sighing but then a movement at her right caught her attention. It was black, maybe a robe? "Hey!" she shouted out of the blue, hoping that it wasn't a hallucination. "HEY!"
