''Aye dont mention it'' he replied. He quickly wiped away the drool from his chin, he didnt realise it was there. ''Erm yeah, kinda accidental. Ate food and fell asleep. Not my fault!'' He said stretching his arms and legs. He laughed randomly and budged up abit for Tammy to sit down, if she wanted to that is.

Tammy smiled widely as he explained the sleeping. "Anyways, how are you? Hows it going? Hows Hogwarts for yeh?" She smiled and took a seat.

"Oh." Sylvia felt partly responsible now. Not only had Tammy told him that his future was going to be horrible, but now she had told him! As if it was definitily going to happen now.

"I'm sorrrrry. It may not turn out that way." Sylvia shuffled a little, so she was there in case Torin needed a cry/huggle. "If you .. change your ways now ...?"

Now he was definitely mopey and you could see it in his face. His good day was ruined by a stupid rune. He might not really believe in this stuff, but 2 in a row? He somehow doubted that it was a coincidence.

He banged his head on the table suddenly. "OW!" he exclaimed without really caring that it had hurt.

"Change my ways? What ways?" Was he doing bad things?

Helena was still smiling slightly as she walked into the Great Hall and headed for the Slytherin table like usual. It wasn't until she had sat down about halfway down in it that she realized that she hadn't even asked Chris where he wanted to sit. Hope you don't mind sitting with the Slytherin's for a night, she said with a chuckle as she poured herself a glass of pumpkin juice.

Walking into the Great Hall Chris noticed Lena heading for the Slytherin table. He kind of stopped for a second and shrugged it off. It wasn't such a big deal sitting at another house table. And he wasn't wearing his robe and or tie. Just hes white shirt, blake pants and his nice fancy dress shoes. So it wasn't like he was sticking out.

Chris sat across from Lena. "Nah I don't really mind it that much." He said shrugging and chuckled slightly.

Lena echoed his chuckle in slight before she spooned some mashed potatoes and corn onto her plate and poured gravy over both of them. She hadn't realized how hungry she was until right then, but she was soooo hungry. She quickly took a few bites of each before it occurred to her that she hadn't said anything in awhile. She swallowed. No water in the common room yet, she said brightly with a grin, recalling last year's fiasco.

Sylvia bit her lip as she watched Torin bas his head against the table, and act all upset because of all the bead news he was getting. Sylvia had never been very good at comforting people, how was she going to comfort an upset boy?

Pleas don't cry ... please don't cry ...

"I dunno. Maybe it's all wrong. Pretend I didn't even mention it!" Sylvia fake smiled and jammed all of her boks into her bag, thinking that maybe this was never a good idea. "Look, it's just a reading. You don't need to take it literally. And ancient runes lesson can't possibly determine whether the students are going to have horrific futures. I'm sure it's unethical."

''Hogwarts is amazing, i've met soo many cool people its unbelievable'' He said smiling. Im good thanks you?'' Warren picked up a cup of pumpkin juice and began drinking.

" 'Tis isn't it." Tammy remarked quickly as she leant her back against the table edge and crossed one leg over the other. "I'm okay. Bit overwhelemed and stuff.. But enough of that. Any girlies caught yeh eye yet?"

Warrens face turnt red once Tammy had mentioned 'girls' There was one girl in his mind of course. ''Yep'' He said proudly. ''I do believe you may know her? Shes in 1st year, Hufflepuff her names Lucille'' He quickly gulped his pumpkin juice down and turned to face Tammy.

"Ooooh, 'tis me yes? Yes? No.. AWH." She dramatically pouted and ruined the moment by giggling. "The library girl yeah? OOOH, So whuts happening with Luciiiilllleeee?"

Warren laughed, ''Yeah of course its you'' He took a piece of chicken and began to eat it. ''Well, we are together funny enough.'' he replied once again proudly yet stuffing his face with chicken. ''Dont get jealous now'' he joked.

Tammy chuckled softly. "That cute." Jelous? PSHHHH. She was NOT jelous. She didn't like the male kind.

THEY WERE EVIL!

"Ohyeah, SO JELOUSSS."

Jealous.. Well she should be, Warren thought. ''Indeedems'' he replied. Warren smirked as he finished stuffing his face. ''I need a jog later fancy coming?'' he chuckled. Though he really did jog around hogwarts.

"No. Just no. I dont do jogging. Just dont." Tammy grinned. "Anyways, its been nice talking to you. But I gotta go.. "

He knew that she wouldn't say yes, reasons why he said it kinda sarcasticly. ''Aww shame, ill er. See you around i sposee'' he said standing up.

He lifted his head up as she started talking to him as if she was in a hurry. And he saw her stuffing her things in her bag. "You're not leaving now, are you?" Suddenly his worries were forgotten; he didn't want her to leave just yet.

He wondered what she would do if he clung to her.

Chris sat there an ate a piece of bread as there was a silence between him and Lena. Hmmmm though it wasn't an odd sorta silence it just didn't feel quite right. Though he was thankful when she did start talking. "Well that's a good thing then. At least you do have to worry about drowning in your own common room." He said with a crook smile. "Though I do kind of missing have all the Slytherin people in the common room." Cough cough just Lena cough.

As Tammy left the great hall. He also left, hands in pockets. It was time for Warrens evening jog!

Lyra opened the huge doors of the Great Hall. She walked slowly towards her Slytherin House table. Her skin looked even paler than it already was, her usually curly black hair was now hanging straight down and a bit over her face. The usual twinkle in her brown eyes was gone too. With a loud sigh, Lyra sat on the bench and grabbed a plate. She placed some pancakes on it and poured in some pumpkin juice. But she didn't eat nor drink any of it. She merely poked the pancakes with her fork and supported her chin with her other hand, letting out another deep sigh.

School had only just started and already she was in so much trouble. People hating on her, turning their back on her, classes don't go well either and to top it all, the guy she had a (not so secret) crush on and was suppose to be her friend isn't looking at her anymore and perhaps, Lyra wasn't sure of it, had started dating a stupid Slytherin girl. Uh-huh, and that all because of one louzy slap on the head.

She wanted to talk to someone who wasn't involved with her mess.

After a long sleep, Evan walked lazily in the Great Hall. His hair was a blond mess and although he had put ice on his eyes, they were still a bit swollen. It was early for him and he didn't expect the table to be crowded, and his expectations came true, there were a couple of students. Not even thinking that Lyra might be among them he walked to a girl with very familiar hai--LYRA! He halted with shock, and his eyes were suddenly snapped open with shock and... embarassment? He hadn't expected this. He considered dropping by the kitchen while going back to the Common Room, but that'd be cheesiness, and he was not that sort. Besides, what was it to worry about? He was clear that he liked both of them, and he eventually had to choose one. Right? False. He had chosen Fallon on advise. He knew he should have observed more. But then again, they weren't lab rats, and Fallon was cool. His day would be merrier if he hadn't seen Lyra in the morning of it. Oh well.

He glanced shotly at her and smiled. He sat in front of her, a few seats further. If she wanted to talk, she could still. But he would not make the first move. Nu-uh, he was afraid to do it. Instead, he took some sausage to his plate and took a small bite, not even feeling the taste. He was focused on Lyra with all of his senses. He realised a bit later that he had been holding his breath. Chuckling silently and humourlessly, he gave a shy look at her, but then quickly turned back to his sausage, playing with them. He hoped for her to talk.

Lyra continued to stare in to the distance and poked her pancakes with her fork until a whole battle field was laying in front of her. She was snapped out of her gaze when something familiar walked by. It looked like blonde hair. Lyra held her head still but her eyes where moving side ways to look at the source and yes, just as she had thought, Evan was sitting on the other side of the table but a little further away. Lyra's heart sped up, despite that everyone else seemed to hate her because she was more lively than Fallon, she still had a crush on this boy.

Slowly , hoping he wouldn't notice that she was looking at him, Lyra moved her head so that she could look better. However, she was caught off guard when she noticed that he was looking too. Her eyes went huge for a second and she quickly turned the other way. She was confused, why would he look at her? Shouldn't he be with Fallon or Shana or something?

Lyra stood up from her place and walked over to Evan without even noticing what she was doing until she sat in front of him on the other side of the table. "Eh..Hey" she said nervously and didn't dare to look at Evan. But still, she was acting childish. Evan was her friend right? nothing wrong with just friends talking?

Evan's heart sped up when he saw that Lyra was looking at him too. That was good right, that she was looking? He then quickly turned back to his sausage, playing with them while thinking of why his heart had sped up. Because of the events between him and Lyra of course, why else? But now that it belonged to someone else, not fully but still, shouldn't it just settle down even though Lyra yelled at him and stuff? But instead, it was almost excited to catch Lyra do anything about him. Bad heart! It had to forget Lyra, and focus on Fallon.

His senses alarmed him when something moved. He looked up and saw it was Lyra. His heart was beating so fast now that he could barely hear her nervous greeting. Just as he had guessed, she was noble to greet him. He smiled to comfort her and said "Hi." back. "Er... how are you?" Die Evan die. She was obviously bad and sad, also heartbroken while being disappointed. He was an idiot.

Lyra continued to look at the table. The white in her brown eyes looked red because she was so tired. She couldn't sleep anymore so she was forced to stay up for a few days. This being the second day and she knew that, if she didn't catch some sleep soon she will fall over or get ill. Evan's voice made her look up. "I-i'm fine" she lied through her teeth and let out another sigh. "I'm just a little bit tired that's all uhm..how are you?" she asked and smiled softly at him while her eyes seemed to close down for a few seconds. She snapped them open and pinched her cheek. "stay awake , stay awake" she mumbled to herself.
