"Hey girl!" Satine said with a smile and with a small giggle she continued, "Of course I remember you...how could I forget......how was your summer?" she asked as she grabbed a piece of the elves' famous sweet rolls and dipped it in some honey and butter that she had mixed together.
'It was fine,Satine'.Linda said and took three sausage and started eating it with her knife and fork 'I went to Laura's and Jules's house. How was yours?' she asked

Bella waved to Linda and said"there you are Linda! i was really very anxious about you guys? where were you all?"
'In the castle,only,Bella.' Linda said.

Laura flung herself down into one of the seats at the Ravenclaw table and pulled a plate of...well, she assumed it was food, but it really could've been anything, because she wasn't paying attention. She was too wrapped up in looking around the Grat Hall, marveling at the sights before her, too glad to be back in the castle for her second year. Even if it was her last.
She sighed at this thought, and looked around, still not paying any attention. Not able to see anyone she recognised, Laura turned her attention to her plate, and realised that it was ice cream. Shaking her head and focusing her eyes onto it, she shook her head snd pushed it away, not able to eat it.
Matheu was excited to be in Hogwarts. After hearing the grand speech from the Headmaster and the Sorting Hat's song, AND being sorted, nothing could compare.
The Headmaster brought great amounts of food from no where! Matheu was so hungry at this point. He took his plate and started gathering everything that look appealing.
See, this was what she needed. She needed to be with her family. Sitting with Issy and Willow and watching them hug while she just sat there was starting to really get to her and, maybe for the first time in her life, she had really, truly felt alone. Like she was the ugly duckling. Now, just sitting next to Samson she was starting to feel better. A lot better and although she wished Carla was here to give her the hug she needed, Sabrina was okay with just sitting next to Samson.
Pulling a fresh plate towards her, Sabrina was about to spoon some mashed potato when she felt something fall on her shoulder and froze.
On the shoulder which was next to Samson.
...
The blonde turned her head to see what had fallen on and found the most unexpected thing there. It was Samson's head.
KYYYYYAAAAAA?! x3
Samson's head was on her shoulder. He NEVER did something as affectionate as that to her. EVER. Boy, there really must be something wrong with him.
But you know what? It felt really nice.
And she wondered if they looked like two gloomy siblings being ... err ... gloomy together.
'How're things over there.'
Sabrina let out a sigh and gently rested her own head over his, suddenly needing this affectionate gesture. It felt as good as Carla's hugs, but she still wished her sister was here and that she was being hugged right now. "Issy was crying." She finally whispered, closing her eyes as well. "She was really upset." And angry with me. "And ... you should talk to her. I know I shouldn't say this but that was just ... " She hesitated, but then sighed. "Just talk to her."
Well, at least Sabrina didn't overreact to his head on her shoulder. It seemed, really, that there wasn't much Samson could do in a normal state when he was feeling this way. It was really, truly sad. If Gavin saw him blubbering like this, he'd get smacked in the head and punched in the face and kicked on the shin and be called a sissy and a baby and a wuss and other things not normally uttered by boys his age. He would really have liked that by now; it would have been a nice wake-up call. But then again, Gavin wasn't here. And while he always flirted, Gavin was never really in love. But Samson was. And he knew more than anything that he loved Issy.
So, in conclusion, it was safe to lay his head on Sabrina's shoulder.
And, he supposed, it was okay that Sabrina lay her head on his.
Issy was crying? Oh, Merlin. Not again. UGH. Samson squeezed his eyes together and whimpered softly. "Really?" He felt so guilty, as he'd promised himself that he wouldn't hurt Issy after they'd, ahem, snogged. "I... I should talk to her," he muttered sadly. "But I can't... Not yet." Yes, he couldn't talk to her yeeeet! He wasn't ready himself. He didn't want to break down in front of her. Worst scenario yet would be to crumble in front of her, cling to her knees and beg for forgiveness. Goodness, he didn't do THAT big a crime to have to do all that embarrassing, girly stuff.
"Thanks, Sab."

Her mood on Xander had lightened up a bit, only because she couldn't resist him hating her forever, she just couldn't. If he took her meaness to heart, like she took his, then she'd probably never be able to speak to him, or see him. And Sylvia couldn't bare that, no matter how weird that sounded.
But instead, she saw ... uhh .. what was his name again? Samson, that was right. Sylvia didn't know he was a Ravenclaw. Huh. You learn something new everyday. Although he looked a little busy with a lot of ladies ... and he said he was having love problems! What a lie! She felt hesitant to go over though, they all looked so much older than her, she'd feel so out of place. So, instead, she sat .... near him, as not to bother him, though maybe he would notice her, and invite her along.
Samson had lifted his head from Sabrina's shoulder, and was able to get his appetite back. No, it wasn't because he felt any better (maybe a little, because at least he could find some small form of comfort in Sabrina), but because he was starving, and to feel emotionally hollow and physically hollow wasn't a good thing to feel. At least he could easily mend one feeling, and thank goodness Hogwarts had good food.
He looked to the side of the Ravenclaw table, as he couldn't resist. He tried so hard to ignore Issy for the moment, but what was the use when she was all that was in his mind right now? There she was, surrounded by her friends, some of them boys, and she seemed to be getting along fine. Crying, was she? Well, it sure didn't look like it. Samson felt a small feeling of irritation at what he saw, but decided not to make anything of it. Things were already bad with her as it was.
As his eyes moved closer to where he sat, he noticed that there was just another person 'invading' the Ravenclaw table. It was that girl, Sylvia, whom he had met on the train. He was, as he referred to her, his misery buddy. But she didn't seem so miserable now, and he tried to feel happy for her. Yay? No, still nothing.
Anyways...
"Lost, Sylvia?" Samson, being Samson, couldn't think of anything else to say to invite her over.

"Fine, but just do it soon, please?" Sabrina asked, deciding not to reveal her one-week-or-Imm-taking-you-to-a-nurosurgeon plan. "Because she isn't talking to me either." Siiigh. The blonde wanted to snuggle someone, but she decided that would be stretching the thread to breaking point with Samson. "It's okay, silly." Sabrina would have ruffled his hair, just for the effect, if her head hadn't been resting on it.
Pouting when he took his head off her shoulder, Sabrina turned back to her mashed potatos and scooped some onto her plate. "This is not my ideal start of our last year." She sighed once again, now reaching out for some of the baked vegetables, nearly knocking Samson's goblet over. "Sorry."
Sylvia?! Her head snapped up and she followed his gaze to a blode sitting just a few seats away from them. She was sitting on her own, talking to no one. Giving her the best smile Sabrina could muster (which probably looked more like a grimace), she waved her hand to invite the girl over. Seemed like Samson knew her, so why not? "Haaaiii!" Well, at least she sounded more inviting.

"Lost, Sylvia?" Samson, being Samson, couldn't think of anything else to say to invite her over.
Surprisingly, Samson had noticed her a long the table. She wasn't sure if he looked like a tiny green dot to her, as she saw him as a giant blue giant, but only when in uniform. Sylvia rolled her eyes at him. "I never get lost." This was false, Sylvia had lost herself a few times in Diagon Alley, and one time where she ended up in Knockturn Alley.
But that's a different story, and she'd rather not talk about it.
Though, Sylvia wasn't sure if that was an invite for her to come over, and she didn't want to be rude, even if she was rude to everyone else. He was big and scary. Not the girl next to him though, who looked a bit like a fifth year, or was she just small?
Anywaaaaaaay...
"Is ... that a way of you saying to come over?" She smirked at him, because if that was the case, she was wasting her time at this table. And there was still NO CAKE. Siiigh.
'It was fine,Satine'.Linda said and took three sausage and started eating it with her knife and fork 'I went to Laura's and Jules's house. How was yours?' she asked
'In the castle,only,Bella.' Linda said.
Bella rolled her eyes."i meant in the train Linda, i probably wouldnt be searching for you in the castle leaving Hogwarts Express right?" Bella said
"so met any firsties?" Bella continued. she looked from corner of her eye at Laura who wasnt eating a thing and she hadnt even answered her previous question.
"Yeah, Toshi, I know that I can trust you - but this thing that's going on needs to be taken care of by me and only me..." Rachel explained in a sad little voice, stopping herself before she uttered the words she was thinking. "And you, of all people, should not be in on this." Nope, he wasn't going to hear THAT.
Groping around for something to change the mood slightly, Rachel latched onto the summer holidays thing. "So your summer was good? What did you do? Wha-" she began, then stopped abruptly as she spotted two people in rapid succession, both of which didn't do anything to lift her mood.
He looked at her. She seemed like she wanted to say something else, but stopped at the last moment. She was not telling him something. And he had to find out what it was. He put his hand on her shoulder again, when she began to talk about the summer holidays.
He wouldn`t let her change the subject that easily however.
"Of course you don´t have to take care of it yourself. You seem like you could need help, Rach."
But in that moment, distraction arrived in the form of Livvy.

"Li- Oli- LIVVY!" Rachel called out, her voice coming out raspy and horrid due to it's recent inactivity. Plus it didn't help that she had no idea what to call her best friend. Livvy showed that she had forgiven her, and Rachel was still a little uncertain about that - but Olivia, on the other hand, just sounded WEIRD on her tongue.
"Sorry Toshi - I have to go talk to her," Rachel apologised to Toshi and got up from the table. She wobbled a bit at first, her head swimming from her abrupt change in altitude, but after a couple seconds, she was good to go. "See you," she nodded and made off after Livvy...
... Just in time to see the girl scream 'POOP ALERT' and summon POOP into a bag she was holding. WHAT IN THE WORLD?!"Er, Livs, what are you doing? And why is there POO all over the table? And- OH, my DEAR SWEET MERLIN, WHAT is that SMELL???" she asked in rapid succession, her face contorting into an expression of disgust as she immediately covered her face with her hands in attempt to block out the stench.
In a way, it was effective since now Livvy would only gawk at HALF her face, since she was hiding the other half of her hideousness behind her hands.
Cookies can cure anything. A cookie a day keeps the healer away.

Sophie Melita, former member of the Ministry-approved Hogwarts staff (potions mistress), former professor at Belle's School for Witches, former unspeakable, former preschool teacher, and most recently, former healer at the Center for Aged and Cursed Wizards, was carrying a HUGE basket of cookies that looked as if she would tip over from the weight of it if it hadn't been charmed to be light (though why she hadn't just charmed a smaller basket to have an unending bottom, one can only conjecture that she just like things big). Each cookie was graced with a pair of wings, which explained the flock of cookies fluttering over her head.
She beamed at everyone as the door shut behind her and then she started skipping (with her flock of cookies still encircling her head) down past the Hufflepuffs, tossing cookies toward the table which fluttered onto each plate. Once there, the wings disappeared and a seemingly plain chocolate chip cookie was all that was left. "Welcome to Hogwarts!" Sophie declared in her high pitched, talking to a baby, voice, over and over, as she went.
After finishing the Slytherin table (so far, Hufflepuffs were her favorites... such cutie pies!), Melita skipped over to the smarty-pants table and began her distribution, anew.

"Really? How come?" Even when nobody told him so, he knew somehow that Issy was acting this way because of him. It was because they had fought that she now had an attitude problem. UGH. HE was the one to blame again. Seriously? It was no wonder Samson acted the way he did. Everything was on HIS shoulders even when he didn't even know it was his fault. Any more blaming and he would combust. Maybe it was better that way. Hmph.
"This isn't my ideal start to a relationship, either," he muttered more to himself, but expected Sabrina to hear it anyway. Oh, that was right. She didn't actually know they were in a real relationship, did she? Heh. When she reached over, he merely shrugged. "S'okay. I don't wanna keep you from your veggies." At least he managed to be a little cheery around Sabrina. And now that he'd started, he really didn't want to dampen the mood. He'd save his love questions for later. Maybe he'd write to Carla and consult with her - er, no, that would be a bad idea, since he would get the teasing of a lifetime; well, not that he actually cared anyway.
Right now, he was just going to enjoy the food and the feast.

Just as he was about to take another bite at his kidney pie, something hard hot him on the head. Ugh. Samson whirled around, but before he could see what it was, he heard a clatter, and found a cookie on his plate. He stared at it for a couple of seconds, and looked to the person showering them. Wow.
"Er, thanks," he called after the unusually happy lady, and took a bit of the cookie. Oooh. Good. Chocolate chip!
Samson sighed heavily and his face fell once more.
... Issy loved chocolate chip.

Deciding to ignore his questions about why Issy wasn't talking to Sabrina, the blonde started eating her vegetables. Really, what was even the point of discussing this with Samson? He had his own Issy related issues to deal with anyways, so there was no point in burdening him with her's.
At his vegetable comment, however, Sabrina smiled. That was more like it and the normality of that statement made her feel a little better, even if, in normal circumstances, she would have been a little cross and would have snapped back with an answer. "Hmph, well. I wouldn't want to ruin your ..." *insert wrinkled nose here* "... dinner either." Ew. Meaty-stuff.
It was disgusting.
What she needed was sweets.

Samson's conversation with Sylvia was lost to her since Sabrina had spotted someone heading towards their table. What was she doing here? Well, ugh, maybe if Sabrina had paid more attention to the Headmaster's speech, she would have known?
But, really, she was the potions professor in her third year ... when Hogwarts was split into Belle's school and Cooper's school. She hated that year. With a passion. Those ministry people had RUINED their common room.
"She's ... she was the Ministry approved potions teacher at 'Belle's school'." She whispered to Samson."What is she doing here now?"
Uh. She was coming their way.
... Sabrina stared at the cookie she got from the professor. "Thank you." She was NOT going to eat that cookie. Ever. And .... SAMSON ATE THE COOKIE! x3

Smiling slightly at the fact that Samson was infact inviting her over, Sylvia stood up and moved a little more over, avoiding people's laps. Bwaha. "Umm .. hi." She said rather shyly to the older yet small girl who was sat on Samson's other side. She wasn't actually sure if she knew her, maybe on of Miles' friends?
How was she meant to know ALL of Miles' friends?
"I don't get lost. I just thought it would be fun to sit at the Ravvie table. But you have more food than us. I think Slythie's are greedy." She giggled. "You don't look as miserable now." Though when Samson was hit by a flying cookie, she watched his face fall. Cookies made him upset? MAD MAN.
The girl was HUGGING her. Holding her breath, Daphne Hopton, by all means, did her best not to appear rude or extremely snobbish but hugging a stranger just wasn't something she was ready for. Awkwardly, she patted the girl on the back and tried pretending that it was Raiden Kururugi or Celandine Toussaint.
Except, everything was just--kinda not where it should be. "Okay," she said with a nod and glanced at Celandine out of the corner of her eyes who was a little busy drawing hearts on Copernicus' palm. "Okay. Lucy Dawn. It's very nice to know your name. Why don't you take a seat?"
Except, her offer was deemed void when the girl went to sit by Willow's friend. Oh! She had already introduced herself to her. Maybe she wanted to be friends?

"Sure. Enthusiastic." Sarcastically, yet clearly amused, Willow answered to the younger Gryffindor, "If I were you I would contact the Ministry of Morons and get a restriction order immediately." Lalala. Boy was she happy to NOT be the object of obsession of some person.
Stalkers were not pretty. She would know; Woodson Whitcomb had stalked her, after all, and wait a minute - he actually WAS pretty. Obnoxious, but pretty all the same.
Hmm. WELL, shame on Daphne.
Uh, Uh, UUUUUH. And Issy was introducing her to the Stalker. "Charmed," Muttered Willow through gritted teeth, even if she was anything but. All the same, though, she offered the girl a smile for the last thing she wanted was to upset a psycho. It would be highly dangerous, really.
Not even noticing that Issy seemed to be HURT by her lack of affection, Willow started to drum her long and pale fingers against the long wooden table, "When do your reckon this will end?"
Lucy smiled at Daffy, listening as she told her to go to sit down. But she WAAAAS sitting down! Gawsh. Couldn't she see well? YEESH!! OH, well. "You're not in Ravenclaw, though...you're a..." Lucy took a closer look at her to make sure she knew what house she was in. "A...GRYFFFFIIINDDDDOOR? Cool." she said, semi-excited. Oh, wells...you can't have friends who are only in one's own house. Hmm! And then she smiled at Issy, and then at Willow, and then at Celandine...and then back at Willow.
Willow seemed very stiff to Lucy's eyes, as if she disapproved of everything that she set her eyes on. What a bitter girl...Lucy wondered what year was in. Hey, if she was a seventh year, then GREAT. Only one year left with Miss Bitter-Willow. Lucy didn't think it necessary to be around the cynical, the bitter, and the ones who might potentially put a damper on her mood. Not that it hadn't already happened, because it sure did...but Lucy was sure that those people didn't mean to and weren't like that all of the time. Naaaah. She was more concerned about people like...WILLOW.
And then a great desire to glare at her and hiss "Eeeeviiiillll" at her arose in Lucy's mind. She accidentally leaned over, and continued on with the glare, and opened her mouth when she suddenly stopped herself, snapped back up, and pasted a straight face on herself. SMILE!! She did smile. Calmly, though. Not too big, not too blah. Juuuust right. Or so she hoped it was just right.

"The first time I ever went to London, was to go to Diagon Alley and get on the train." he nods with a grin. "I'd never been a train before that either. It was awesome!"
His eyes darting around to others at the table, he replies "nervous is more like it..." whispering to him, he says "I've kind of been a bit afraid really."
Raising his voice to normal again, as if he hadn't said anything, he goes on, "No, I'm actually only normal, no magic in my family. What does half-blood mean?" he asks confused.
So shocked was Sarah at seeing Lasca, she nearly tripped over her robes as she rushed over to the Ravenclaw table.Of course the fact she was also trying to do it discreetly so a professor didn't clock her didn't help.
Sneaking up behind her formally absent friend,Sarah threw her arms around her shoulders and gave her the biggest bear hug you could imagine. "Lasca!!" she beamed, squeezing the life out of her friend. "I've missed you,so pleased to see you!" Finally letting go, she crouched down beside Lasca and Mariel her robes forming a puddle of material on the cold stone floor.Eyeing up the small crying girl whose hand Lasca was holding, and who appeared to be carrying...was that a bow? Sarah got the impression she was actually interrupting something.Clearing her throat, her eyes darted from one to the other. "Uhhh I've not come at a bad time have I?"Maybe it would be best if I waited until they finish talking, she mused, shifting position on the floor as her knees started to ache.
She eventually gave Mariel a nudge and a smile, taking a glance at the box she had in front of her, still visible from her bench height position."What ya got there? Something nice?," she asked with a wink. She knew her friend didn't have it on the train, so must have aquired it at the feast, but her 14 year old brain couldn't work out who from as Nathaniel was nowhere in sight ......yet. "OH!" Sarah suddenly remembered something as she thought about Nathaniel, although heaven knows why he made her think of it.....Her boyfriend, the one Mariel had yet to meet, was in the same room. Now was her chance to point him out.Spinning on her heels slightly she tapped Mariel on the knee and pointed in the direction of the Huffie table. "You know Ryder? Well he's over there having dinner....you can just make him out among the group of first years.Browny blond hair, can you see him?"
Ever. And .... SAMSON ATE THE COOKIE! x3
Samson couldn't help but laugh at Sabrina's comment on his food. Ah, his first real laugh that night. It actually felt good. Like eating candy, or playing pranks with Gavin, or having picnics with his family, or... being with Issy.
UGH. How mushy he was being!
Deciding to distract himself, he looked from his plate to Sabrina's and shook his head. "I don't know what you get with eating vegetables alone. Where do you get your protein, eh?"
And theeeen, he raised his eyebrow at Sabrina as she spoke, and he was just about to take another bite of the cookie. "So? I don't even remember her, nor do I know her, nor do I care. But I do know I like the cookies. You gonna eat yours?" He pointed at her untouched cookie. There didn't seem to be anything wrong with it. It looked rather appetizing, really. What? Was he gonna get sick with cookies? Naaaw.
... Well, maybe because it reminded him of Issy and he felt sick because he missed her, but otherwise, no.

MAD MAN.
ooc: LOL. I love Sylvia xD
Samson watched as Sylvia made her way over, and managed another chortle as he watched. How nice! He was laughing now. But, it wasn't really nice, coz he wasn't supposed to be laughing. But he deserved to laugh. But now wasn't the right time.
Merlin, he was losing his mind.
"Oh, you two know each other?" Samson asked of the two girls after taking a sip of pumpkin juice. "And, uh, yeah. The Ravvie table is so much fun." He didn't know if he was being sarcastic or sincere, but it could've been half and half. "Oh, hey, there's lots of food to spare so if you want any, you're welcome to help yourself." PSH. As if he was the one in control of the food. Meh. Whatever.
Hm, he didn't look miserable? Really? Well he DID laugh, so maybe that was a good sign, but not nearly good enough because he wanted to feel good and not miserable at all times, in every way. "I... think I feel better. Do YOU feel any better?
He hadn't forgotten her forlorn expression on the train, of course.
Sam took a chicken leg off the table. He took a bite out of it, only to realize that it was marinaded. He then grabbed some Yorkshire Puddings out of a bowl and piled them on the plate. He then looked around for someone to talk to.

Oh, he laughed. Sabrina couldn't help but smile when she heard that.
"I get enough protien, whatever the source may be." Sabrina replied rather haughtily. Did the guy ever give up on trying to make her eat those disgusting, weird smelling and totally gross meat-things? Well, at least he hadn't started shoving his food under her nose yet.
"No, I do not want that." The blonde was about to throw the cookie away, but then turned to look at him. He had finished his cookie and there didn't seem to be anything wrong with him. Maybe it was okay and she was just paranoid? Eh.
Of course Sabrina didn't know her, if she had, she would have greeted her better, or at least differently. "No, I do not know her yet." Then she turned to smile at Sylvia. "I am Sabrina Evanstar." She would have extended her hand, but with all the food on the table, her robes would get dirty. "This idiot's step-sister." She waved her hand at Samson dismissively.
Well, he had been an idiot. And it was't like she was using the term on him for the first time. She used it numerous times, affectionately.
Brushing her hair away, Sabrina ate some more of her vegetarian meal.
Fun? Snort. The Ravenclaw table was a madhouse. Absolutely insane. Did anyone see the dung being thrown around? HUH?! You call that fun? Well, she didn't.
Ooh, she wasn't feeling particularly cheery either? The blonde peered at Sylvia, curious to know what had been bothering her, but didn't voice her curiosity. It would be rude to ask.

Mina pushed the food around her plate, she had lost most of her appetite early. The only thing she really touched was the Yorkshire pudding. Looking up again to scan the table for possible friends, she sighed and continued to play with her food.

Lasca was trying desperately to get Ali to quit crying when someone arms clamped around her like steel bands. She had to smile as the voice registered immediately. "Sarah!" She coughed dramatically, and then giggled. "I've missed you too!" She couldn't help the flush of warmth she felt at the arrival of her other Best Friend.
Forgetten completely was the water works situation until Sarah mentioned interrupting. Well, Lasca didn't want to be rude and brush her off but she could tell Ali need a few minutes to re-compose herself. "No. Your timing is impeccable as always." Again she smiled and it was amazing to her that she could still do that. But that what friends were for right?
Twisting around, the young Ravenclaw perched one leg on the bench so she could see and hear Sarah better as she talked to Mariel. Lasca had to push me long hair out of the way in order to see the boy that Sarah was pointing out. Then she shot Sarah a teasing look. "Do we have a boyfriend already?!" She gasped dramatically again and pretend to size him up.
Mina pushed the food around her plate, she had lost most of her appetite early. The only thing she really touched was the Yorkshire pudding. Looking up again to scan the table for possible friends, she sighed and continued to play with her food.
Sam saw a girl sitting on her own. He scanned the table in search of anyyone who was walking towards her. When he saw that no none was making a move to be nice to her he decided that he should be the one to comfort her. He walked over shyly and sat down next to her. "Hi" said Sam to her. "You a Ravenclaw too?"

Wheeeeeeeeee!! This was actually getting fun...kind of, yes. All of these people, except for Bitter-Willow and SCAAAARY-Hugger-Guy...what his name? Oh, well. Doesn't matter. Lucy found him all too weird for hugging people for like ten minutes at time. WHYYYYY?! IT'S WEEEIIRRRD!! Argh. She turned around, still smiling, and looked up and down that table. Heh, no one too special. Plus, everyone seemed to be conversing with one another...
Except for a young girl who reminded Lucy of her eleven year old self. She sat by herself, very quiet, and lonely, and looked about as if hoping to make friends. HAHA!! That was soooo not her. Solitude!! Anyhoo...Lucy waved at her, putting on a big smile. "Hello, there!! I'm Luuuuucy Dawn!! Lucy Lucy Lucy Luuuucy!! Heehee!! What's your name?" Lucy said in an energetic tone. Boy, she seemed to have a little too much energy...how the heck was she going to dispose of it by the time she had to go to bed? Would EVER go to bed? Oh, wait, nevermind. Probably...unless excitement decided she shouldn't go to bed, then in that case...oh! Little girl. First year? Proooobably, yeah.

Sam turned around to face a hyperactive looking fifth-year screaming her head off. Deciding that anyone who was brave enough to scream their head off in the great hall was a great person. "Hi" said Sam to the girl. "I'm Sam, and this is... well... I don't know yet."
Samson watched as Sylvia made her way over, and managed another chortle as he watched. How nice! He was laughing now. But, it wasn't really nice, coz he wasn't supposed to be laughing. But he deserved to laugh. But now wasn't the right time.

"I ... don't think so." Sylvia wasn't sure if she didn't know the girl or she had just forgotten her. If it was the latter, Sylvia would be a puddle of embarassment right nao. But when the girl had said around about the same, she breathed a sigh of relief. "Nice to meet you." Sylvia peered around Samson to see Sabrina. "I'm Sylvia." She wondered if Sabrina already knew that.
Sylvia took a glance at the food, she didn't really fancy eating infront of them, only because she would look like a greedy pig and she was most certainly not that at all. "I'm good. I'm just waiting for desert." MMM, yummeh desert.
"You think? Aaah, so not for definite." All Sylvia knew was that it was 'love problems', but that was rather vague. She giggled at Sabrina. Only moments a go, Sylvia thought Samson was a lady's man, but it was just his step-sister. FAAAIL. She wouldn't tell them that, they#d think it be weird.
"Uuuh ... Kind of." Sylvia's head leant on her palm which was keeping her head up right. "The situation has now, changed...." Xander had a crush on someone and she knew it wasn't her. RAWWWR.

Mina looked up from her plate. Seeing older student waving at her, she smiled and waved back. "Hello, I'm Mina Bennett," she replied politely. "I'm a first year. Nice to meet you."
She looked to her side and saw a boy talking as well. "Oh, where are my manners. I'm Mina," she smiled.
Sam turned around to face a hyperactive looking fifth-year screaming her head off. Deciding that anyone who was brave enough to scream their head off in the great hall was a great person. "Hi" said Sam to the girl. "I'm Sam, and this is... well... I don't know yet."

Lucy noticed another boy walk over and introduce himself to both herself, and the girl. "Mina...and Sam. Both first years, huh? How cool!! Hope you two enjoy your time here! It'll be..." Hmm...fantastic? Lucy couldn't really say that but then again, she probably could. School, academically, was fantastic. "FANTASTIC!!" Lucy bursted out. Yeah. Academically, of course. Keep. that. IN MIND, kiddos. Socially...it'll be okay...perhaps.
How would it go socially for Lucy if she did change her ways? That was the one question that lit up in the back of her mind every minute. Seriously, though...what would people do, think, or say? Or did it just not matter? Should it even matter? Blah blah blah. Lucy had to stop asking herself these questions. Now wasn't the time to be thinking about. Now was time for making friends, and waiting for the feast to be over and welcoming and scaring first years, and...going crazy, and stuff. Right...
