As they made their way down the winding road to Hogsmeade through the snow, Lena's smile widened even further and she gave Chris's hand a gentle squeeze at his words. You couldn't have picked a better place, she said, leaning her head lightly against the top of his arm as they walked. All of Hogsmeade looked like a town of gingerbread houses, and the chill wind barely bothered Lena today.

Chris smiled wide as he felt that gentle squeeze to his hand and her head now leaning on his arm. "I'm glad you think so." He said with a smile. Though he didn't look at Lena he looked around listening to the snow crunch under their feet. Sighhhhhh soon all this would be gone, he would be gone and then there would be scary America with no Lena and no Mel. He tried to push these thoughts away when he smiled down to Lena.

Kylie walked back into the pub behind Nate, realizing she forgot something.

OCC: I really wanna meet Ella! =D

Ella laughed. "You're probably right." So Ella pinched herself - hard.

"YOW!"

Carter started laughing. "I can't believe you just did that." he said. "Did you not believe me?" he asked her. "I told you we weren't dreaming."

"Just had to make sure," Ella replied, still laughing. Her poor, poor arm. And those poor, poor people (including Carter) whose eardrums she had shattered.

Lena's smile widened a bit at his words, but she let the silence continue for a little while. Then she snuck a glance up at Chris and saw him smiling down at her. Her smile widened even further at this, but something in his features troubled her for some reason; her brow furrowed a bit at this conclusion within herself and she said, What are you thinking? a bit quietly to Chris.

Sighhhhh why did she know him so well?It's wasn't like Melinda she could just read his mind and know what he was thinking even though she also so knew him very well. Though Mel wouldn't have done that. Chris shrugged lightly to Lena. "I don't want to ruin the day. Just forget it alright?" He said and strocked the back of her hand softly.

Lena bit back a sigh and nodded, looking down from him, despite the normal sense of ease Chris's soft strokes on the back of her hand would normally provide. At that moment, she decided if he seemed upset and didn't tell her why on his own, she wouldn't go asking him. So where do you want to head first? she asked, trying to change the path of conversation, but her tone was still a bit defeated.

Carter continued laughed. "Oh Ella." he said between laughs. "You are one silly girl."

When she changed the subject Chris was happy. But Lena's tone didn't sound quite right. Awww was she going to make him talk? Yep it seemed that way. "Lena." He said stopping as he stepped infront of her. He took both her hands into his. "I was just thinking about.....about leaving again. I shouldn't have been. But I did. I just....I just feel bad about leaving you." There was more to this that he didn't want to say though he had to. "I'm also afraid that once I leave then you will just move on and forget me so to speak. I know you said you would come when you were done with school. But what happens if you find somebody else?" He said now looking down at his very pretty shoes instead of Helena.

"So we're aren't in a dream," Ella concluded, finally able to stop laughing. "That's something we found out today. This is more useful than all the other stuff they teach here," she joked, pointing toward the castle.

Helena stopped as Chris stepped in front of her and she frowned; she wasn't trying to push the issue at all, but.... her thoughts trailed off as Chris took both of her hands in his and she looked down at them, thinking about his words as he said them. Then her head snapped at his question, a bit shocked, though she tried not to show it. Luckily, he wasn't looking at her anyway. Did you just say, she started calmly as she could, What if I found somebody else? By the time she finished, there was a little panic in her voice. She tried shaking her head to clear it, but it didn't help. Lena tried a different tactic. Chris - what happens if you find somebody else? I can't just forget about you; you're too much apart of my life. I just can't.... she trailed off, shaking her head once more. Was this all about her finding someone else??

"I don't know. I've learned some pretty useful stuff." Carter said in a mock-skeptical tone. "Like, great friends make the crazy professors and insane amounts of homework a little more tolerable." he said. He then looked at Ella. "And I've got the best friends. So... school is like a piece of cake for me."

Wooow was that panic in Helena's voice. It was. And if he finds someone else. Really? Well it could happen. But nooo not after everything that's happened. But he could find somebody else. Melinda was dead and he wasn't going to be able to marry her as they had both planned on doing in the future. He just nodded to Lena still not looking at her. "I just don't want to lose you. Though I will probably have to at some point." That's all he could say. He just could not lose anymore people. And the thing with Blake was making him worry about that. She really did care for the boy. And was there some way she still had feelings for him????

Ella smiled, looking into his eyes. "And I hope it always stays that way." Carter had such a way with words, making her feel like the queen of the world.

Lena finally couldn't take it anymore; her green eyes were glassy with the tears that just barely covered them and refused to fall as she gently slid her hands from Chris's and used them instead to take his chin and bring it up to look at her. You're not losing me. You will never lose me. I am right here. Always. I'm not going anywhere. Even when you're in America, I will still be right beside you. Her eyes searched his; she didn't like talking about this by any means, but if she had to, Lena was going to make her place clear, and her place was right beside Chris.

"Me too." Carter said. "I think it will. You can't get rid of me that easily." he added with a wink. Yes, Carter Phillips just winked.

Chris felt Lena slid her hands out of his and pick up his chin. He looked at her green eyes though she looked as if she was about to cry. Grahhhh! Was that all his was good at now??? Making his girlfriend cry like fifty billon times a day??? Though when she said she wasn't going anywhere part of him didn't want to believe her. Though he did. He nodded and then hugged her tight pulling her close to him. "Alright." He said softly to her as he nodded.

Helena smiled wearily as he hugged her tightly to himself and she hugged him back in return, keeping him there for a good few moments before letting him go. We can't let what might happen change what is happening. And what is happening is perfectly fine. Her smile widened very slightly before she tiptoed up to kiss him softly on his perfect lips.

Alright yesss she was right. Gosh Chris always picked the girls who were always right. Yet he kind of liked that hehee. He felt Lena pulled back and he looked at her "That is very true." He told Lena. "You are right and was wrong." He told her and sighed dramaticly. Then he chuckled slightly. He then felt her soft lips on his once more. He smiled and kissed her back before pulling away. "Alright I believe you." He said and laughed.

Lena smiled when he said that she was right - wasn't that what was supposed to happen? The woman was always right; her smile widened. She chuckled as he laughed. Good, she said, before adding in fake menace, And it better stay that way, mister, before smiling and settling herself once more down on the heels of her feet and taking his hand in hers once more. She shivered slightly; the wind was taking its toll on her all of a sudden. Do you want to go get a Butterbeer or something? she asked.

WHOA! Carter! He winked!

"Good, 'cause I'm not even gonna let you go." Ella grinned back. "How about that game against Hufflepuff soon? Ready to kick their butts?"

Chris put his hands up as she said that it better stay that way. "I promise you will always be right no matter what." He said and smiled. Yeahhhh he likes to be a suck up sometimes. Once she took his hand once more he felt her shiver. "Yeah we should probably head in somewhere you are freezing." He said laughing. "And a butterbeer sounds good." He told her.

"Oh yeah. It should be good." Carter responded excitedly. "I still can't believe how well we did last time." he said, the rush of winning came back to him almost as if the game had just happened.
