He was wondering how late it was getting. He had a feeling as the night went on he was going to perhaps get grumpier...like he usually did. But, right now he was on a high. He was so happy to be at Hogwarts. But, he would rather be safe than sorry. Rafe pulled out his wand, but then he was being introduced to another small firstie when he was tapped on the shoulder. Rafe laughed as his name was being introduced twice. He guessed that's what it sounded like when he introduced himself. "Put 'er there Orlie," Rafe said as he stuck out his hand. "You can just call me Rafe." He laughed under his breath. Rafe assumed that now he was in the walls of Hogwarts he could do a bit of magic. His mum taught him a few simple spells to help him out if he was in a tough spot, like the summoning charm. She said it would be useful, if he forgot something and couldn't get away to get it personally. "Wanna see something nifty?" he called out to his fellow firsties. With his wand already out he called out, "Accio Sunglasses!" And came soaring through the air was his favorite pair of shades. He grabbed them and put them on. "Pretty awesome, huh?" He didn't need them to look cool, he needed them to cover up his eyes. They seemed to change on night's like tonight. A lot like the headmaster's would look like tonight. But, he thought he was covering up the change rather discretely. |

Lucy was placed in Gryfinndor and she was very excited to meet her new friends, as this was her first year. Therefore, she sat on one of the seat hoping for some one to say “Hello”. |
WOWZA. Terry was hungry. For once his life. Out of their four, Miles had always held a tender love for food since the start. Hugo had a sweet tooth that stretched as far as PLUTO. And Evolette ate like a bird. No wonder she was still the tiniest out of them all. Dropping down at the table, he threw out a ginormous wave to the table in general, 'Hey everyone! Y'all have a good summer?' ;a little uneasy that he didn't recognise most of the students in his own HOUSE. Whoa, weird. |

Headmaster Bontecou who didn’t teach anymore; the groundskeeper Mr. Masterson; the “Word of advice,” she said in a hushed tone. “Don’t get the herbology greenhouses dirty…or she’ll have you scraping up poo in the owlry.” It looked, however, like quite a few of the professors were missing, most importantly Professor Forester. And Daisy knew why Professor Forester wasn’t there. She couldn’t help but glance over to the Hufflepuff table to see how Sarah was faring. Curses! Daisy mentally muttered. When am I going to get Vivianne alone to tell her? She wondered if the Headmaster would tell the school, or if he'd glaze over the incident. Quote:

Ellie listened to Daisy tell her who the professors were. But Ellie, ticking off subjects in her head, noticed that Daisy missed some - clearly some professors were not there for one reason or another. Potions? Charms? She hadn't mentioned those. She giggled when Daisy warned her about Professor Bunbury. "OK," she said. "But are they all nice enough? What is your favourite class?" |

Sylvia felt like she hadn't seen him in yonks, and he'd gotten hotter. Wait, was she allowed to say that? Well, no one had control over her mind, so she'd say it in there. A LOT. Sylvia was a tad unsure whether to go over to the Gryffie table. Only because she'd never been here before, and wasn't sure if she was actually allowed to go to other tables. OH WELL, trouble was her middle name. She inhaled deeply, and walked up behind Terry. She tapped him on the shoulder. "I thought you'd graduated." She said giggling behind him. |
Alex looked around at the Gryffindor table and she sighed a bit. She didn't know anyone!!! Gah! Merlin.. This was.. embarrassing.. Just sitting down randomly at a table filled with your housemates, and you didn't know anyone?? Sigh!! Alex flipped her blonde hair over her shoulder as her grey eyes searched for a place to sit. She wished she had been in Ravenclaw so she could go over and sit with Kel.. But no.. She had to sit here.. Hmmmm.... Well might as well make the best of it.. Was there any cute guys?? Her grey eyes narrowed a little as she searched.. Yes!! Score! Now to sit by them... She settled herself down at the table and looked around smiling.. |

He growled at his pumpkin juice, the pushed his goblet away. Maybe he should stop being lazy and actually go LOOK for some people. Tossing dark locks out of his eyes, Terry nearly jumped right out his seat when he felt a tap at his shoulder. Quickly spinning around, his blue eyes widened in recognition, and then he was squeezing the life out of the blonde girl. 'SYLVIA, is that really you?' He crowed in dramatic shock, quirking an eyebrow. Wow, she'd err certainly grown. ...erm, height-wise of course. O, Miles would kill him if he were in his head right now. 'Hrmm, are you going to kill me then if I insist on calling you Princess Sylvia still?' That had been his speshul nick-name for her! She couldn't ever be too old for that! EVER. Tugging on her hand to a seat next to him, Terry chuckled low. 'Me and Evolette are graduating THIS year. Miles was the oldie who decided to abandon us a year early!' He smiled to let Sylvia know he was only teasing, 'How is the dood by the way? Gone on to bigger and better things now, eh?' |

A girl who looked like Ellie's year said she was nervous. "I'm Ellie," Ellie said. "Are you a first year like me? We'll share a dorm! Right?" |

She'd made loads of friends, got into Slytherin, and TERRY 'RAWR' SAUNDERS WAS HUGGING HER. Okay, so he did it all the time, when she was younger and saw him frequentely. ZOMG how much she loved it, Sylvia had felt neglected ever since he began Hogwarts and left her. Siiiigh. Sylvia shook her head. If Terry was anyone else, and called her Princess Sylvia, they'd probably have broken legs by now. But not Terry, she surprisingly loved the nick name. She was a princess, and she wanted everyone to treat her like one. "It's fine Terry, I love it." She had to admit. And then he moved his hair. Dribbled. Sylvia had loved him even when she was too young to understand what love was! Gripping his hand and smiling AND blushing, Sylvia slided onto the bench next to him. "I see. I always thought you were the same age as Miles." She smiled. Miles was the oldest? BWAHAHA. "He's good. I think he's looking for an apartment with ... umm, Vanessa." Sylvia HATED the nick name 'Vannie', so always insisted on calling her Vanessa. |

Looking around at the faces of her fellow Gryffindors, she realised that there were many new faces among the old. That's good I hope they help us win the championship, she thought. She took a crumpet from the nearest plate and started nibbling on it, still watching all the people in sight. |

“Yes, I am in the first year too, aren’t you nervous about this. Hey I’m Lucy nice to meet you. I’ll love to share dorm with you it would be great”, said Lucy to the girl who was a first year too. Now she was feeling a bit relaxed after talking to her few friends. Now she thought this would be a good start for her in her new year as she was going in the ‘Muggle School’ in her previous years which was a bit different than this. |

“‘Hello’ to all” said Lucy with a big smile on her face. She was very happy to meet them. She thought it would be a great year with such good friends. Lucy got a bit scared and took her hands off the table as she knew that Vivianne bits. Just to have some talk Lucy asked Daisy whether she knew anything about what is going around in Hogwarts. |
