Mina made her way toward the front of the train. It seemed fitting to sit in the same section of the train as she did when she first came to Hogwarts. All things came full circle in time.

Find most of the compartments empty, she randomly picked one and settled in. It seriously felt like just yesterday, she had first boarded this train for Hogwarts and now she was back boarding it to return home. She didn't truly want to go back, but she did have family obligations to fulfill and she knew that she would return in a few short months. She had to make the best of it, that's all she could do for now. At least she had a trip to look forward to. That would hopefully tide her over until she would return for her second year, well she hoped it would at least.

Sighing deeply, she plopped down in the seat beside the window. Yes, she plopped down. BUT LADIES DON'T PLOP! She didn't care anymore, she didn't feel like acting like a lady. She was tired and the feeling of dread borne during the Exiting feast was still with her. She wasn't even sure what to think and her brain slowly shut down. Staring out the window, she let it too.

At least she was going home. Adrienne, after walking out of the feast, had holed up in the dorms until it had been time to leave for the train home. There was no way she was sticking around, after the earlier events. If she'd had her way, the train would have come earlier. Or the headmaster wouldn't have disappeared. Either way, she wouldn't have had to witness what had happened at the feast. In any case, she was still feeling rebellious (or at least she wanted to show people she wasn't backing down, no matter who thought they were running the school.)

Her hair seeming more tousled than normal (probably because it was), she found a compartment near the front of the train, setting her purse down on one of the seats and placing the basket carrying Christian, Tory and Dolce next to it. Letting Rochester out of his cage, she let him perch on the back of the seats, then dropped into another of the seats. Crossing her legs, clad once again in dark skinny jeans, she glanced down at her shoes. While they were new, one of the pairs she had gotten after the disastrous Quidditch final, she thought they fit her current mood perfectly. And with a grin she remembered her argument with Dominic ages ago, before all the chaos of the term. Well, she was wearing mary janes finally. And they were black. But something told her they still weren't exactly what the ex-head boy had meant when he'd said that to her. Hopefully some of my friends can find me in here, she thought, letting her mind wander as she shifted her gaze out the window. Part of her wanted to talk, now that she was about to get some physical distance from Hogwarts. Or whatever it was going to turn into.

Thomas walked into the front of the trainhoping to find some new friends. Most of the comparments were empty but then he saw a Ravenclaw girl sitting alone in a compartment. "Excuse me, may I sit here?" Thomas asked her with a friendly smile. He didn't make any new friends this year so maybe he will make for next year.

Victoria couldn't believe that it was end of term already, she was walking down the train looking for a place to sit so she can read the library book on animagi.

Mina turned her attention from the window and to the voice addressing her. Realizing it was a fellow 'claw, she shook her thoughts from her head and smiled. "Sure, I could use some company," she replied. She didn't want to ride the whole trip alone, like she had at the beginning of the term. Moving her bag to the floor and curling her feet beneath her, she made room. "Make yourself at home."

"As much as I want it to be like home. It is a little bit too small to be like home am I right?" he asked in a sarcastic tone. "So what's your name Ravvie?" he asked her spotting that she was a Ravenclaw. He was glad to finish his second year he heard that third year is way more fun then the second year. Thomas just relised something awful, he is actuallt missing the Quidditch world cup and the worst part is that his dad is going to be there. Thomas wished to be know in the Quidditch world cup cheering for one of the two teams that got to the final.

Victoria saw Thomas talking to a younger student, she wondered if she could join them. She knocked on the door and waited for a reply.

"You do have a point," Mina laughed slightly. Home was nothing like this, she didn't really want to go home. She didn't want to see some of her family either. She just wished to see her friends and return to school. But since she would have to endure a few months away, she would settle for her trip with her cousin. "It is a bit too small. The name's Jasmina, but Mina works. No one really calls me Jasmina except my grand-mere or if I'm in trouble. And what's your name?"

Hearing a knock, Mina looked to the door. "Come in," she smiled seeing it was Victoria. She had remembered meeting her briefly, but she had hear so much about her from Jason.

She walked into the compartment, "Hey Mina, how are you? Can I sit with you and Thomas?" she asked.

"My name is Thomas nothing else and don't even tink about calling me Tom or then bad things will happen and by bad things in mean bad things," he said to Mina slyly. "Do you know we're missing the Quidditch world cup it starts today the checking in," he said to her thinking that she doesn't care about Quiddotch but he might be wrong.


Thomas heard someone knoncking at the door he turned his head to the door and he saw Vicky. He opened the door and said suprised, "VicVic how are you? Come in have you met Mina?" He was so excited about seeing her again.

"I am good thanks, I have meet Mina before!" She sat down to Thomas, she was glad to see a friend.

"Hi Victoria," Mina smiled. "Sure, the more the merrier I say." Things were looking up now. She wouldn't be alone now, which did make her a bit happier, even if she did have a lot on her mind. Looking back at Victoria, she smiled again. "I'm good, how about you?"

"I am good thanks, I am still with Jason and my aunt got married four weeks ago. She has just found out that she is pregnant" she told her.

"You know I was just telling Jason, how I think the two of you are like the cutest couple." Mina smiled. It was true, a small part of her was a bit envious of the couple. Perhaps she was still harboring a bit of a crush on a certain other Gryffindor. Stupid love potions. Shaking her head to clear the thoughts of what happened only months ago, she smiled at the thought of the wedding. "That's exciting. I'm sure she's excited. The wedding was very beautiful. My cousin and I were there, but we had to leave early. I did have fun though, even if Jason kept teasing me about visiting you two over the summer with a boy" she laughed.

"I am sorry about that! Katalin is going to have a baby now, it was a very beautiful" she told her.

Mina laughed and shook her head. "It's not big deal. It was all in the name of fun. I think Jason was just trying to help keep my mind off of a boy I like, I mean I thought I liked." She would keep telling herself that, but deep down she knew she did like him and the potion just brought it to the surface faster than she expected. "I'm so happy for her and JJ. They looked so happy at the wedding. I'm sure they'll make a happy family."


ooc: I'm off to bed. I have to be at work in 5.5 hrs and need at least 4 hrs of sleep.

"I know they will be great parents!" she had a feeling that Mina might fancy Jason, no she was being silly.

Mina looked at Thomas and nodded. "Gothcha, Thomas it is then." He didn't really strike her as a Tom anyway, so it wouldn't be hard for her to remember that. She frowned at the thought of the Quidditch Cup. "Yeah, I so wanted to go but I don't have tickets. I'm supposed to go to this family thing right after we arrive in London. I'd so rather be at the match though." She would have been thrilled to attend but those family obligations again. Maybe her cousin would have tickets, Jade did work for the Ministry after all. They would sneak away from the family and see the match. Yeah, like that would really happen.

Mina smiled. "I'm sure they will be the greatest parents and you'll be a great cousin to them," she said. "Cousins can be some of the greatest people in your life. I know mind is always there for me." sje added as she thought about Jade. She still needed to tell her about the whole potions fiasco and Carter. She would know what to do and maybe help her get over her crush of the young Gryffindor.

Lena had walked the full length of the train twice before concluding that Chris must have just been running late. She sat down in an empty compartment at almost the very front of the long, scarlet steam engine and looked out the window through her bright green eyes, watching all the students board to head home....

Aaron lugged his things onto the trolly with Avery yapping away. "Quiet, girl!" Dumb, owl. He looked slightly to his left to find an open compartment right away. Nice. He brought his things inside and shoved his trunk onto the shelf. He then opened the compartment window and looked at Avery. "Okay. Fly home now. I'll see you when I get home." He opened up her cage and let her fly out the window. He watched her go for a moment before closing the window and looking around in the empty compartment. He took the Quidditch magszine out of the top of his trunk and sat down. He opened it up to see QWC news. Oh I wish I could go. It would make my year... Well, as if the things that happened at the pumpkin patch, didn't. But still, it wouldn't hurt to do something happy now that Fallon's leaving. but alas, I can't. Aaron sat there reading, wondering when his friends would find him.

"Wow, care for a good- looking boy seating next to you or would you rather have me seat next to you?" Jason asked Mina laughing."Long time, no sdee, what have you been doing with yourself?" Jason asked her.

Jason sat down between Victoria and Mina. Jason kissed Victoria on the cheek. "Wow, I have not seen my girlfriend since the wedding" Jason told Victoria. "What are we going to do about that during the summer, honey? " Jason asked Victoria.

Iris got on the train with Luna in the basket looking around for an empty compartment, when she came across Aaron sat in a compartment on his own. She opened the door and peeked her head in, "Hi Aaron, Whatcha reading?" She put Luna down on the floor near the window then dragged her trunk in too and hoisted it into the trunk shelving. Iris turned to Aaron and smiled at him before sitting down next to him.

"We could play quidditch and I want to read this book" she made sure that only Jason could read the title "How to become a animagi!"

"We could do whatever you want during the summer sweetie" Jason told Victoria. Now to a hard question. " I hate to ask this dear, but what happens when you go back to school next term and I stay at my castle?" Jason asked her in a serious tone.
