There's plenty of seating at the back of the train. Grab a compartment with your friends, it's time to head back to school! Quote:

He stuck one last parchment onto the last remaining empty pane of glass, satisfied with his distribution. Reaching into his backpack, he removed another bundle of fliers, this time they were different from the ones he had been splattering about the back of the train. Instead of sticking these new ones up, he moved himself into the middle carriages of the train. |

It was with boredom Xylina wandered down to the back of the train, unable to find anybody she knew. Unless one counted the annoying fourth year she tried (and usually failed) to avoid. So she let her feet take her down to the opposite end of the train, peeking into various compartments for a split second before turning away again and taking a few more steps.
Despite the fact she had no compartment to sit in, she smiled broadly as she continued down the train. Even if she didn't find a place nor face she knew at all ... well, she'd think about that if it happened.

Then Eva asked about the werewolfs. Nataly looked around her. To tell or not to tell her? It's a sensitive topic.
Finally she decided, and said "Yeah, we were talking about werewolfs." Quote:

She Sure looked like she's been at Hogwarts a while "...What do you feel about what happened." "Nice to meet you. It's nice to meet all of you." she said adressing to all the students in the compartment.
She was almost frowing at Nataly's lack of answer when it hit her. They saw her as someone older, and therefore different. Okay, so most seventh years could not get along with first years. But did it really matter?
She was momentarily confused and slightly speechless, when Nataly finally answered. "So, I guess you heard about last term's... events... at school. Are people in the magical comunity commenting a lot about that? What do they say?" she asked, truly interested on the subject. That was the downside of living amongst muggle, even though it was only for the summer. Eva was pretty sure her mother knew everything about it and should be worried, but she at least had had the decency of not asking.
When she had her store in Diagon Allley or in Hogsmeade she'd sign every wizard and muggle newspaper to be always aeare of what was going on in her two worlds.
She looked at the curious boy, not so intrigued by the curiosity. "I was at the school, I was not in the Assembly. But yeah, I know what happened." she paused. "Sure it was a tragedy. But I feel sorry for Professor Lupa. She's a really good teacher but I really doubt she'll come back this year." she stopped, watching the other students reactions. "I don't think she should be punished by the Ministry at such a high level. I think she must be feeling bad enough because Professor Kazmeritz got hurt." She was organizing her thought about it. That was her opinion, but despite everything and the sympathy she felt for the teacher, the students safety came first. And she was sure that Alessia Lupa was aware of that. "But still, in the edn it's the students that matter. Luckily, nobody besisdes the two Professors got hurt, due to Kazmeriz's brave aittude." she conluded.

Something about a courtyard...
Then all of a sudden she felt the girl's eyes resting on her again, and when she quickly jerked her head into her direction she found herself gazing right into the girl's eyes. The way her eyebrows were risen resulted in Nancy's forehead to crease into a slight frown. What was this about? Trying hard to search for answert to that question in the girl's eyes the 15 year old just stared intently into them as if somehow she could see letters and words forming sentences in them. Which, of course, she couldn't.
Maybe she should inquire this Aparecium parchment for an answer as now she did have one again after her last one had gotten destroyed by the flood in the Common Room. Yay! She thought sarcastically, as somehow she would have chosen not to read the last few entries from last term. Although, then she would never have found out about it. Talking of which, where was Steven?!
The way the girl spoke up again pulled her out of that train of thought again, making her once again stare at the girl curiously. Irial?! Oh right, that Gryffindor boy. The one Steven had talked about. Right. It was then that the memory washed through her quite vividly. The Courtyard....her talking to Irial...then this girl - the one now sharing her compartment - rudely interrupting their conversation. Okay, she couldn't remember if the girl had rudely interrupted them but some part of her told her she had. Period. "Riiight..." Was all she could and wanted to say at the moment because luckily for her right at that moment a girl who looked about their age entered their compartment asking if she could sit with them. "Of course." Nancy muttered barely audible with a small smile for the girl while gesturing towards one of the empty seats. "No, I don't mind Pharao. In fact I do have a cat as well. I...uhm...left him at home, though, this term." She didn't go into detail on that one on purpose, as she did not want to go over the whole thing again. Next term she would buy something else at Diagon Alley.
Trying to get her mind off things - like the whole Irial/Courtyard/Rhea incident and above all the Steven/Anna thingy - Nancy forced a smile onto her lips which she directed at the new girl, Adelaide. "Nice to meet you. I'm Nancy. I'm a Fifth year too." She simply gave her a half-hearted wave, though, no outstretched hand as she certainly did not feel like it at the moment. Her attention was then caught by the girl mentioning probably being sorted into Slytherin. "That would be nice, Adelaide. I'm in Slytherin as well." Maybe they would see each other in the Common Room again. "Oh, where was your former school?" She inquired while leaning back once again in her seat, her blue eyes resting on Adelaide curiously. Rhea shifted in her seat. She was unsure of how the girl would react after she revealed how they knew each other, but was spared the long wait as the girl began to speak. Oh...Oh?
She shrugged and looked out the window. What exactly was she expecting the girl to say? Regardless, the situation was strange and slightly uncomfortable, thank God the new girl walked in. She had somehow sucked some of the strain from the air..good..
Eyes fully focused outside the window Rhea listened to their conversation. Small talk, always appropriate. Her brows began to wrinkle contorting her face into a frown. So many thoughts were racing through her mind. The most important thing was the ripped papers by her foot.
"How would you guys feel about helping me make flying to go against Varius's discriminating fliers about werewolves? It just makes me so so angry." Her fingers balled into a fist.
" I think I want to call it the WHFTO, short for Werewolves Have Feelings Too Organization. Unless of course..you guys are anti werewolves yourselves."
She looked at them both intently..searching them it seemed, then she focused on the girl she had met last year.
"Look, I know we had a patchy start, but its a new term and we could all use friends," she said with a small smile.

"Who's he?" She asked all the sudden, seeing that the girl seemed to know that. Looking at the students Eva realized she could be scaring them, for not having a good reason to react at them. She looked down at her clothes, the usual jeans and the dark red t-shirt. None of them could guess her house. "Sorry. It's because I'm a Hufflepuf myself and there's a small change I might know the person in question." she explained. Even though she said it, the chance of knowing the person who had glued the postcards was one in a million. I'm glad they don't know about the murdered teacher, she thought as the memories of a certain afternoon at Diagon Aleey came to her.
She blocked the thoughts about that day and closed her eyes for a second making her best to focus on the conversation they were having. "That is just mean. Perahps they don't remember History." she concluded. The Greatest Wizard of All Times, Harry Potter was a close friend of werewolf himself and nothing had ever happened to him.

"Many students have seen a werewolf in his - or better saying, her - human form over the years." Eva spoke. The reason why she was medlding? Simple. She knew the student who had just walking in by sight. They were in the same year and in the same house but in all those years their paths had never crossed before. "If they studied in Hogwarts, I mean. If you seen the flyers, you must know, Sunrider." Despite her words, there was not any note of judgement on her vpice.

Despite his royal swagger, Helios was not a very social Hufflepuff, so it came as only little of a surprise that they were just now talking to one another. "I was fortunate enough to meet him during a full moon."
His fear hid behind a brave face as his cloudy blue eyes looked far away, taking him back to the encounter. "Wait..Her? There's more than one?"

"Where have you been last term? To the moon?" Hogwarts was huge school and news ran in a flash. Everybody in the magical comminity, even the little firsties, knew about what had happened on Hogwarts. "We were talking about werewolves because of the Hogwarts situation. During the last Assembly, Professor Lupa turned into a werewolf and Professor Kazmeriz protect the student from a possible attack, getting himself hurt instead. They have both been in St. Mungo's over the whole summer." How could somebody not know? Eva explained the Prince briefly the events, still wondering how was it possible to not pay attention to major happening.
And what was that about him meeting an werewolf during a full moon? Eva frowned. "You met a werewolf ine the night of his transformation and got way?" she asked with curiosity, not believing in any single word of it.

Dragging her trunk along, Katlyn looked around for an empty compartment. She looked though every one, but they were mostly full. Finally, she found one and slid the door open. Sighing, she pushed her trunk inside and sat down. "How long do I have to be on this stupid train for?" she asked herself and took out a book to read.

Sloane meandered through the thin walkway of the train. How did she always manage to be the latest person.. every time? She dismissed the thought, blaming her tardiness on this and that, packing and showering, etc. Speaking of packing, her luggage was beginning to get quite irksome - the heavy load dragging behind her constantly. It was jammed so full of robes and clothes that she kept having to switch hands so that one arm wouldn't get too tired. The snowy owl, Archimedes- aka Archie, wasn't exactly too fond of being trapped in this miniature prison as it clanked about from side to side, either. Uttering a light sigh, Sloane peeked in through the windows to see where there was an open compartment.

| "I was.." If she didn't believe his werewolf story, she would surely find what happend near the end of the term to be myth. "..taking care of some business."
Kaz was hurt? Again? Fragile old man, Helios should have been there to protect him. The professor was in his twilight, while the Greek was in his prime. "The werewolf was contained..barely. I promised to keep his secret, but if he has anything to do with the attack on the professor.." He was a handsome boy, but his fury was uglier than a werewolfs monstrous visage.

She didn't know the name of this one; Song had stopped listening after a while and had taken to staring lazily out of the window as Quinto restrained himself from covering the two Gryffindors and Ravenclaw in a welcome full of sand-papery licks and ground-breaking purrs.
She smiled slightly as homework was mentioned. She couldn't wait for the homework too. Maybe this other female Gryffindor had more incommon with her than she thought. Or maybe she was just delirious. She heard travelling could do that to people.
Then, suddenly, as if a gunshot had been fired, Quinto leapt from his seat, scampering across the floor, his amber eyes full of a wish to play. Song should have remembered: he didn't like long journies. Embarassment crept into her already nervous stomach as the young, midnight black kitten pawed Chris' foot and then rubbed against Jenn's leg. She highly wished that she was anywhere but here right now, and felt the heat rising to her cheeks. "His name's Quinto," she said, surprising herself. "He's a little on the... excitable side," She smiled sheepishly, as her kitten continued to roll around on the floor. She couldn't help but think that maybe he was trying to impress the other cats, who were sat peacefully either side of Jenn. Quote:

"Well we can try to forma study group then!" he said happily. "Gryffindor for the House Cup!" and he stuck out his tongue playfully to Jenn.
As Chris had been talking to Lizzie and Jenn, he had almost forgotten the quiet girl who had been sitting in the compartment that he introduced himself to, until her cat jumped off her lap and rubbed against his leg. He smiled and reached down to pet it. "Oh hey there, buddy." he then heard that his name was Quinto. "I like that name." He then looked at the girl and asked, "What's you name? And are you new this year?" he wanted to make the girl comfortable. I mena it must have been a bit awkwad sitting in a compartment with people that are all good friends with each other and her no knowing any of them. Lizzie turned to Chris as he talked. Thinking how she should put her words, she used the short silent to take two steps over to one of the seats and sit down. The train was moving and she wouldn't like to fall over from standing. Yeah kinda she said thoughtfully to answer Chris. Or rather, I moved with my dad while my mom stayed in our old house. She quickly glanced at Jenn and then looked back at him with a sigh. They got divorced she said and rolled her eyes sadly. You know how they've been fighting forever, and all of a sudden they just decided they couldn't stand each other anymore I guess. She made a face and leaned backwards. Her summer had been all but fun, so she couldn't be happier being back on this train. I definately will she said ironically with a smile. Study Group, her? He had to be joking. He knew how much she hated studying. The only good thing about it was that it kept your thoughts away from other stuff.
She turned her head and looked out through the window when she heard Chris talking to the fourth person in the compartment, and slightly embarrassed Lizzie realised she hadn't paid any attention to the girl in the corner. Now her cat was playing with Chris and Lizzie's smile widened a little bit. She turned her head towards the girl and gave her a friendly smile. Without saying anything, she studied the girl's face, there was something familiar with it but she couldn't tell what. It was as if she saw someone related to someone she knew... Or had known. For some reason Kairi's purple eyes flashed for her own eyes, and she looked down. Seeing how the girl looked at her she smiled a bit and glanced up again. I'm Lizzie she said quietly. Something about this girl made her unable to speak clearly, and she felt comfortable for the first time since she'd hugged Ian goodbye. Are you a new student? she asked curiously, but still quietly.

Eva watched his little outburst.
"Right. You go and hunt him? Please..." But there were some important facts in there. "If you know something you should report it." her face had turned completely srious as she spoke to him. "It might be nothing, but it could be important right. And now with what happened to Forrester..." before she could stop it, the words were out in the air already. She had had no intentions of bringing that subject up because of the younger students, but the circunstances had changed when another older student had walked in.

Still red, Evan collapsed on the coach. Why had he added that 'have fun'? They would now see him as a pervert or something. He. just. sucked. And the worst thing was, they were his house&grade mates. Now he'd have to cover his idiocy. He sighed and looked at Lyra, who seemed to have fallen asleep, because she didn't respond to him, just laying down.
He then listened to the voices of excited students, and wondered why couldn't he get social like them. He got up and opened the door, showing that they were just two people inside and that especially he was up to a conversation. He sat to his seat and looked bored. He was bored.

She may hear the answer in the middle.

And to make it worse they kept sicking their Grinylows on us! I was bit in the ankle pretty badly, but I healed up ok." he grinned. It hurt like crap though when it happened. "I also was the first person to stun and knock out the King Merperson when we rushed the room he was in!" he said a bit proud of himself.
Chris laughed as Jenn replied to his joke about the House Cup, "Ah well I guess, I will have to help Gryffindor win it the old fashion way, do tons of homework and help convince my fellow Gryffindors to do the same. Right Lizzie?" he said laughing. "And I am very excited for classes to start this term!" he said happily. Jenn ahed, and ohed as Chris told about the fight that had taken place with the Merpeople, adding to her jealousy. Lucky tall prefect boy. "Grindylows bit hard. I know cause I about drowned in the lake awhile ago when one bit me and dragged my down almost to the bottom when I was swimming in the lake." It was no fun that was for sure. "So you stun the merking? Cool! Do so...they were behind all the flooding right?"she asked, feeling like she hadn't been in the loop of gossip for quite awhile.
She nodded and laughed with him. "Yes you will. Just like my fellow Ravenclaws you'll just have to be a good little boy and do your homework."she teased, looking over at the comic book girl then back at Chris. "Me too. I can't wait till Defense Against the Dark Arts or CoMC. They're the best classes I think....besides flying." Quote:

She tried to remember something fun that had happened that she could tell her friends, but nothing came to her mind. I've mostly been busy moving around she said with a halfhearted smile, answering both of them. So I haven't had much time for friends at all this summer. Everything seems so small compared to buying an entire new closet or painting a new room.. She sighed and turned to Chris as he spoke, listening before answering. Ton's of homework, right.. she said and shook her head with a little smile. I'm actually, strangely, looking forward to homework. She seemed surprised by the words and shudded. Guess that means we have a chance at the cup this year... Slow summer? Of coarse, moving around and not doing things with friends could really damper things. "This summer has been great for me. I spent a lot of time with my friends, and such....."she trailed off, feeling color rise to her cheeks. Most of the people she did stuff with though had been Kel....
Jenn giggled. "You sound like a Ravenclaw."she teased, smiling. "Of coarse, that's not a bad thing seeing how I'm a Ravvie. Homework is...strangely fun to do. If you like the subject of coarse." If not....well you had a tough time finishing it, that was for sure. Quote:

The site of the playful kitten made her...happy for some reason. Like all of the stress that had been weighing down on her had suddenly vanished as she watched the kitten play with the string that was hanging from her freying pant leg.
She looked up as comic girl started talking. Wow...that was a first. So, this ball of energy was, Quinto? "He's really funny actually."she informed the shy girl, smiling sweetly at her, then down at Quinto. "Hello Quinto. Do you want to play?"she asked softly, the smile still on her face. Reaching into her bag she pulled out a sleeping lump of sandy colored fluff. "Wake up Sahara."she whispered, rubbing the little lump. Then, slowly the fluff ball's head poped up, and blinked slowly, opening it's tiny little mouth. It's huge topaz colored eyes eyed the little black kitten in front of it, then looked at Jenn, almost like saying I'm to tired to play.
Shaking her head, she set Sahara down next to Quinto, nudging her lightly with her foot. Then she leaned over and picked up Luna, who meowed in protest and placed her on the ground next to Sahara and Quinto. "Now, go on and play."she instructed, grinning. Sahara blinked, then crouched down, wiggling it's little tail and rump in the air, before springing on top of Quinto. Jenn giggled as she watched the two of them roll around and Luna stare at them with a look of...mild disgust.
