Transfiguration Lesson 1 The desks in the transfiguration classroom are arranged in neatly paired rows, all facing the front of the classroom. In front is a wide desk made of several student desks pushed together. A closed box sits on this desk, and a chalkboard behind states that class will begin shortly and you should sit down and wait for Professor Svensson, who is not yet present. |
Victoria waited outside the class waiting for the rest of her classmates to arrive and the bell to ring. |
Thomas waited outside of the classroom seeing that Victoria was there. Thomas took his books out of the bag and he had an inkwell and a feather in his other hand. |
Reid sauntered into the transfiguration classroom, somewhat surprised to see that seemingly all years were included in this one class. At his old school there had been a different class for every year. Nevertheless he walked to a desk and sat down in one fluid motion. |
Lettie peeked inside the classroom. After reading the notes on the board, she walked in and took a seat near the front of the room. Transfiguration was a nice subject, hopefully she didn't mess anything up too badly today...and maybe even learn something fun. Yes. That would be good. The girl took out her notebook and quill, then took out her wand and placed it down carefully in front of her. They would probably need their wands for this class. |
Daniel was so excited to attend his first class. It was a merge class the is designed for all year level. Well, that was a bomber Daniel thought. It is not new to him for the last Professor used to teach transfiguration this way also. He entered the room and looked for a spot near the teacher's table. He sat there and opened a nice book of 'Transfiguration: The New Edge'. He sat there quietly and waited for the others. |
"Are you sitting next to me Thomas?" she asked him as she walked into the room and found a seat in the middle of the classroom |
Sydney excitedly entered her first transfiguration lesson, the subject seemed to be very interesting. She took the front most desk. Quickly taking out her quill, parchment & her transfiguration text book, she silently waited for her friends to arrive. |
Window. Window. Wiiiiindoooooooow. Jake had sprinted through the castle so that he wouldn't be denied a decent seat in this class. He wanted to sit by a window, As he burst into the classroom, Jake was halfway through wheezing an apology until he noticed that the teacher wasn't around. Quick as you like, his eyes zoned in on a seat by the window and he beelined for it. It was at the front, which wasn't good, so he turned his seat so could see everyone, with his back to the window. Better. What was that on the professor's desk? ZOMG! A BOX! |
WOOOOHOOOO. This was one lesson Terry had actually been looking forward to attending. The professor was awesome stuff. He owned a canary, for crying out loud! And one called Yellow! Sauntering in, he frowned momentarily when he was met with the sight of the classroom filling with students and no Professor Svensson in sight. Dropping himself into a random seat, he proceeded to eye the box. Was it really a good idea to leave intriguing boxes like that around? Hrrrm. |
Laura wandered around the castle, and, locating the Transfiguration classroom, went inside. There were a few people inside already, and they seemed to be of all ages. Wow, she thought. I'm gonna have to compete with the intelligence of the upper years. A grim look replace her usual grin. This was going to be hard work, she knew. Taking a desk, Laura sat down and began to get her books out. |
Trixie was rushing to get to her Transfiguration class. She burst through the door and took a seat near the back. She plopped everything that was needed onto her table and left her bag hanging on her chair. She placed her Phoenix Feather quill beside a piece of parchement she had got out. She might need to take notes. She then waited for the teacher to start the lesson. She always thought that Transfiguaration was a good subject, well at least that is what her mum had said. She put on a smile then waited patiently. |
She looked round, she saw Laura and whispered "Laura, do you want to sit with me?" She got out her parchment, quill, ink, transfiguration book and wand. |
From the Sixth floor entrance, the Transfiguration classroom was 32 steps away. Backpack over one shoulder, white cane in hand, Ari entered the classroom. She detected that it wasn't half full--a bit of a relief. Finding an empty seat would be quite easy. From the entrance to the clasroom, Ari took three steps forward, before her cane hit against one of the desks. Ari angled herself a bit to the left and kept going. Five paces in--Ari had found her desk of choice. Holding her cane in a straight-up position, she cleared her throat as she slid the backpack off her shoulder. Ari sat, leaning the cane against the desk for now. Unzipping her backpack, she lifted out a notebook, her Transfiguration book, and a quill. Reaching over the desk, Ari collapsed the cane and pushed it into her pocket. Extending both of her hands, she determined that the desk was roughly Two-and-a-half feet by two feet in size. Sighing, the blind girl pressed her glasses closer to her eyes, keeping then hidden. |
Laura heard her whispered name. Turning she saw Vicky sitting a few seats away. She hadn't noticed her when she had ruched in, and gratefully getherd up her stuff and relocated to beside Vicky. "Hi," she said, grinning. |
"Hey, I am so excited about this lesson, turning one thing into another" she smiled at her friend. |
"Sure," replied Thomas to Vicky and he waved his hand to Laura. He went to the table next to Vicky and he waited for the Teacher. |
Gabriella made her way into the transfiguration classroom for her second lesson at Hogwarts. The school still felt very big to the little blond eleven year old and she had almost gotten lost if it hadn't been for the trail of students going up to the classroom. Gabriella looked around at the other students in the room before going over to an empty seat in the second row. Sitting down Gabriella pulled out her supplies and placed them on her desk. Now she just needed to wait for Professor Svensson. |
""What do you think the lesson will be about?" she smiled at Thomas and Laura. |
Surely they were all in there by now, Lars decided, leaning against the door outside the classroom. They were awfully quiet, though, so he could not be certain. Ah, well. He was tired of waiting outside. Wand out, Lars pushed through the door into his classroom and strode briskly to the front of the class. On his way, he flicked his wand at the windows so they would open and let in some natural light. “Good morning, students,” Professor Svensson said rather loudly over the students’ hushed voices as he halted in front of his desk. “We’ll wait a bit longer for stragglers, but please take out something to take notes with.” |
History really do repeats itself. Daniel hopes that these first years would stop their mumbling around before they loose any points for their House. If only Daniel had the authority to yell at this students who are starting to make some kind of conversation about where to sit must hold their mouths shut before the Professor catches them. Daniel sighs. He just shook his head and continue to read his new book. And then the Professor suddenly appeared from the doorway. Daniel then straightened himself up and closed the book he was reading. He then grabbed some parchment, his favorite quill and a bottle of ink. |
Lasca walked into the class with a grin on her face. She had rather liked this class last year and was looking forward to the opportunity to learn some more. Looking at those present she acertained that no one she knew was here yet, so she picked a seat in the middle of several empty desks and pulled out her things. |
Satine dug through her bag and pulled out a piece of parchment and her favorite purple ink pen to take notes with. She grabbed her book out and flipped through it to pass the time...she was so excited to get this lesson started...she was hoping she was good at this class.. |
Thomas got shock from the teacher's sudden entrance. Thomas took out his wand, two parchments and his feather. |
Ears perking when she heard the door open rather strongly, she straightened. Almost an automatic response, Ari turned her head as the Professor walked by--the illusion of looking made people more comfortable, she had notcied. Pulling the notebook closer, Ari opened it to the second page--she also picked up the quill, holding it loosely between her fingers as she rested her wrist on the edge of the desk. |
