Lyra looked up from pushing her I-pod buttons as another girl walked in. "hey i'm Lyra" she said and smiled

"Oh! Hey, im Rebecca Latrowski, but call me Becca." she said. "It's nice to meet you Blossom! I'd love to be your friend! I don't really have many either but I'm glad we have more time to make them." she added grinning. "So, excited to be getting back to Hogwarts?"

"Same," said Laura, smiling. She was glad that she'd met someone from her own house; she'd spoken to some Ravenclaws in Diagon Alley, but hadn't seen any of them on the train. Jule was really nice, too, and Laura couldn't help liking her. She hoped that they would be friends.

"That's cool. My friends here are first years and Ravenclaws as well. so...whats your background?" asked Jule thinking of nothing else to say.

Thomas nearly fell asleep but then he noticed that a girl entered the compartment. Thomas heard that Jule was talking to her and the girl mentioned that her name is Laura. Thomas tidied his hair a bit, he saw that Jacky was asleep so he put her cage on the floor next to his trunk. Thomas turned his head to Laura and he said to her, "Hello Laura, I'm Thomas, how are you?"

Smiling around at the others, Laura replied "I'm half and half. My dads a wizard, my mums a muggle. I've an older sister though, she works for the ministry. So, what about your family?"

Turning at the mention of her name, Laura turned to see a boy sitting opposite her, looking rather tired. After he introduced himself as Thomas, she smiled. "Hi, I'm Laura. I saw you yesterday, in Diagon Alley. You asked me where to find a telescope."

"we have somethig in common. My dad's a wzard and my mum's a muggle too." said Jule. "Except my mum doesn't accpeted that I'm magical and I'm an only child."

"Oh, that was you," said Thomas shocked, "well I 'didn't find the telescope at the end but I hope someone will lend me one," said Thomas yawning every minute he felt more and more sleepy but he tried to stay awake, He noticed that his owl Jacky was still asleep he was so jealous of her he looked outside the window and the he looked down and he saw five Berti Botts two were red, one was yellow and one was black, he took all of them and popped them into his mouth. He started chewing the taste has awful but he still felt tired he the half of pumpkin pastie and cut it into two and he ate one quarter. Thomas never felt so tired in his life, now he got his father why he told him to have a very long sleep before he'll go to the train. Thomas tried to sleep but he couldn't he tried to clear his mind from thoughts and then he finally fell asleep.

Jule looked at Thomas who after struggling to stay awake, finally fell asleep. "Lucky kid. If only it was that easy for me." she said to herself.

Laura smiled as Thomas fell asleep. Then she turned back to Jule. "How're you feeling about Hogwarts?" she asked. "Looking forward to anything in particular?"

I'm excited. Maybe that's why I can't sleep." she laughed. "I'm really looking forward to charms class. I have. Way with charms and spells, trust me." she said.

"That's cool, I'm excited too!" Laura paused. "I'm looking forward too Charms too, but more for Transfiguration. I just hope I'm not too like my sister. She was really good a Transfiguration and Potions, too."

Nathaniel was so happy to be going back to Hogwarts. He was going to miss Freya but was looking foward to seeing Mariel.

"oh. What house was she in?" asked Jule.

"Aww, how old is your sister?" and then looks at Jules and says "We are just friends at the moment maybe we will be a item one day."

"I know. Only time will tell. But you two sure sleep alot on this ride." she joked.

Laura smiled at the girl who had just joined in the conversation. "She was in Ravenclaw, shes 19 now. Just left." She smile again. "I'm sorry, but I don't know your name." She said.

"Oh, I am Victoria!" She whispered at Laura "I sort of have a crush on Thomas".

Jack was so excited to be going to hogwarts for the first time. He got on to the train early so he could get a good compartment. He found an empty compartment put his luggage on the rack and watched the people on the platform

"Hi Victoria!" Laura grinned. "You and Thomas would looked so good together." Looking at Victoria, she really meant what she said. Victoria was really pretty, and with Thomas seemed to be completely bewildered, with messy hair. She laughed at Victoria as she blushed.

"So what house do you think you will be in Laura?" Victoria would love a few friends that might be in the same house as her.

"oh ok." she said to Laura then turned to Vicky and said "See! I'm not the only one who sees it." she laughed.

Victoria and turns to stare at the sleeping Thomas and then turned back to the girls blushing. "Maybe we will get together when we are older".

Walking through the corridors, Nate came to another empty compartment. Sliding imself in, he sat down and put his feet up closing his eyes. He thought about what happened earlier today and couldnt figure out why Lasca seemed to act like she cared about him. Noone.. not even his mom.. ever seemed to.. care. It was.. nice.

"I hope so. That would be adorable." she said to vicky and saw her blush.
