Laura returned with her food and heaved herself down onto the seat. She opened her bag and dumped some of the sweets in it, whilst at the same time she pulled out a cop of Quidditch Through The Ages. It was a very battered copy, and had belonged to her sister, Emma-Louise. Laura herself had read it many times, but she still found it fascinating. Opening it where it was marked, she pulled out a chocolate frog.

Jule began feeling sick. She felt like throwing up but held it is. Luckily she had a bottle of water with her and she laid her head on the window.

Looking up, Laura saw that Jule had woken up. She had her head on the window and was cluching a water bottle so tightly that her knuckles had turned white. Genuinley concerned, Laura put down her book and sat down next to her. "Are you OK Jule?" she asked softly.

Trixie was unusually shy! She did not want to talk to anyone. She found a compartment to herself and took a seat. She gave a soft sigh. If only Tiffany was here....She then ruffled open a copy of the Quibbler that had been lying on the table. Well what else could she do??

Jule felt someone sit next to her. She turned around to see Laura. "I'm just feeling a bit sick. I think I ate too many sweets."

Victoria looked round at Jules, "I think we are nearly there Jules not long now" she smiled and hoped she felt better and then smiled at Thomas.

Shaunee waved at Jule and Victoria, "Hey, I'm Shaunee. I'm a ravenclaw too and a first year." Shaunee was happy that she had met some new people already and took a seat, dumping her stuff on the floor.

Laura looked at Jules and agreed with Vicky. "It shouldn't be long now, and then, if you still feel sick, we'll take you up to the nurse." Laura smiled, hoping that Jule felt better.

Noticing the smile that Vicky cast in Thomas' direction, she smiled herself. She'd never really believed in love at first sight, or anything like that, but she could tell that Vicky really liked Thomas.

Turning to Shaunee, she helped her put her bags in one of the luggage racks. "So," Laura said to her, "Looking forward to Hogwarts?"

"we better be. I wanna know what the classes are like." said Jule and smiled at Vicky

Sarah had been searching forever to find her friends.Getting on the train just before it left meant the thing was already full,difficult for finding anyone.
Deciding the best thing to do would be to start at the front and work her way back,she had finally gotten to the middle cars.
Looking into each and every compartment along the way,Sarah then heard two very familar voices. "At last!" she cried sliding the door back of the compartment on her left.
"Mariel,Lasca...are you two avoiding me?!" she laughed as she looked over to her friends,who were sitting with some other students that Sarah didn't know.
"Oh,I'm sorry if I'm interrupting!" she stammered when she realised how rude she was being. "Is there room for one more? I'm only little."

Squeezing inside Sarah managed to find a space on the shelf to put her owl's cage.
Screech hadn't been with her last year due to an accident he'd had.He should have realised that if he could see his reflection the window must be closed,but alas no.
Now after some rest and recuperation he was back to his noisy self. "Shush Screech,you'll get on everyone nerves!" she whispered to him as she stretched up to place him on the shelf.

Finally settled,Sarah sat down next to Mariel and yawned. "Oh sorry,I overslept today and very nearly didn't make the train!" Glancing around she noticed that a couple of the others looked like first years.This must be their first Hogwarts train trip,she thought. How fantastic.
It was then she realised that they wouldn't have a clue who this new girl was.
"I haven't introduced myself have I?" she said,addressing the others. "I'm Sarah,third year Hufflepuff.Nice to meet you all." Grinning she settled herself back into her seat and started rummaging around in her bag for her "welcoming sweets".She always offered her sweets,she found it a good way to break the ice.
Taking a brown paper bag out she unrolled the top and shook it to loosen any that were stuck to the inside.Thrusting her hand out she waved it in front of the newbies,all the while grinning. "Would you like a boiled sweet? There are a few different flavours in there."

"So," she said turning to Mariel and Lasca and offering them the sweets too, "what have I missed?"

"Thanks." smiled Shaunee. "Yeah, I can't wait. How about you?" asked Shaunee as she stroked Arwen, her silver blue maine coon. "Oh you don't mind cats do you?"

"Well," said Thomas sighing, "Before someone is going to throw-up on me I'll go and find another compartment, but I'll be back soon okay," Thomas left the compartment and then he remembered something and he turned to Jules and he said, "I want you to take my water bottle you'll feel better.

Laura smiled at Shaunee and reached over to stroke the cat. "I can't wait either. My sister told me sooo much about it!" she said. "And I don't mind cats, I think they're adorable!! So, whats your background?"

Arwen purred at Laura, "She likes you. Emm, well I've got my dad, my mum, two sisters and a twin brother. I'm a muggleborn, so this is all incredibly new to me." Shaunee laughed, "So don't be surprised when I make stupid cultural mistakes. Also tell me if you can't undertand what I'm speaking, i randomly change languages sometimes. Weird I know." Shaunee smiled, she was happy that she felt so at ease with these new people. She brushed a strand of her black hair out of her eyes.

"Cool," Laura said. "Twins, eh? Whats that like? I've only got mum and dad and my sister Emma-Louise, we're all magical except for mum! What languages do you speak?" She really liked Shaunee, and Arwen was just so cute!

"Sometimes it can be so annoying as he's five minutes older, he thinks he is so much maturer but he's less mature than Kayla and she's seven. I speak italian, french and spanish." said Shaunee nervously she didn't want to sound like a show off.

"Wow...." Laura trailed off, she was so impressed. Shaunee sounded almost ashamed about the fact that she could speak so many languages, but Laura realised that she was probably just being modest, she was like that sometimes. "I speak a bit of French and Spanish, but I'm nowhere near fluent!" She laughed. "What are you most nervous about?"

"I don't know, everything..." Shaunee laughed. Shaunee saw that her converse lace was undone so bent down to tie it.

Isabella sat there in the compartment with Laura and her friends and listened to the new girl in awe
"Wow so many languages," she thought with her hand over her Hogwarts A history.

"Same! What if I made a fool of myself in front of the whole school?!" Laura laughed with Shaunee, and followed her eyes as they roved over her shoes. "Oh, your Converse are amazing!" She suddenly felt ashamed of her own appearence, with her tatty black jeans, grey sweatshirt and black double-tounge Converse.

Turning to Isabella, she realised she hadn't introduced her to Shaunee. "Shaunee, this is Isabella, fellow Ravenclaw firstie!" she said quickly correcting her mistake. Smiling she spoke to Isabella, "Did you find everything you were looking for when we were in Diagon Alley?"

Isabella giggled and nodded
"does anyone know who are Ravenclaw prefects?" she asked

"thanks Thomas." said Jule as he left the compartment.

Raine hauled her luggage down the corridor, thinking to herself about the year at Hogwarts she was about to eperience. She found an empty compartment in the center of the train and hopped in. Raine sat down and started to rummage through her suit case. "off we go..." she murmered to herself. She wondered and daydreamed and then, quietly fell asleep.

"oh yeah i did," said Isabella. turning red about missing the question that Jule posed

"No," Laura looked puzzled. "I haven't seen any of them. I do know the Gryffindor prefect though. I was speaking to him in Diagon Alley whan I go my books." She giggled. Fancy knowing more about the prefects of another house, before you knew your own?! Whilst she was laughing, she felt a soft plop on top of her head. Godric, her owl, was sitting above her.
"Groooosss!!" She squealed! Standing up and jumping about the compartment. "Does anyone know a spell to get this gunk off me!?"
