Gryffindor House Table Large quantities of food are spread before you. Whether breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the Hogwarts' house elves are the best in the world. The food is superb and the company is as well. The house poem, penned by All4oliverwood: Get up off of your seats Ready for some fun? You ain't seen nothin' yet For this years just begun Friends are rollin' in It's faces old and new Nothing comes between us Dear Gryffindors be true Outside of the castle Ready for things to fly Lions are soaring strong In a game that's do or die On this autumn night Near the crimson fireplace Solid friendships forming People so full of grace Rockin' the competition In a race for the house cup Doing everything we can Earning points to keep us up Reeling for a win Us Lions gettin' it done Loyality guiding us through Everyone working as one |
Lilly walked in starved she hadn't eaten since the night before. (she overslept breakfast). she saw her favorite food in the world sitting there. MASHED POTATOES! she got a huge plate of them and sat down and started to eat. she felt a little lonely because noone was there yet but she didn't mind. she just ate away |
Alycya walked into the Great Hall, her eyes firmly fixed on novel in her hand. Her very well-read copy of Sense and Sensibility by Jane Austen, flopped open as she placed it on the table, keeping her page perfectly. Reaching for some food, she piled her plate, then began eating, her eyes still on her book. As she turned the page, she looked up, noticing for the first time another girl sitting there. She looked rather young. First or second year she guessed. She smiled at the girl. "Hey," she murmured. |

Brant sat down at the table and instantly grabbed some food and started to pile his plate up. |
James walked to the table, finding Brant. "Hey, you look much happier now. Just remember, chew." James sat down and grabbed some food and started eating happily. |
" if the food gets in my stomach faster then meh." Brant laughed. "so whats up, see any good looking girls yet around hogwarts or what?" Hitting James on the shoulder. |
"Well, I'm a fourth year, so yeah. I dated one since my first to my third year, yet she dumped me, we got back together, and then I dumped her. There are some out there, you intrested in any?" James looked over at Brant. He seemed to be just enjoying eating a little too much. He took a drink of pumpkin juice. |
"Yeah theres this girl named Sarah I met her in Diagon Alley, but she's in Hufflepuff. But I think im going to ask her out." Brant said. "Im sorry about how your relationship ended/started/ended again." Patting him on the back. |
"Happened for a reason, she was leaving Hogwarts for good. I hope it goes well with you. I'm trying to find this girl who I met at the start of the term feast and can't find her anywhere. I want to talk to her, but she might be avoiding me. Stella something..." James said, drinking more pumpkin juice. |
"Why would she be ignoring you?" giving James a weird look. "I think your a cool dude, or did you do something to her?" |
"No, nothing. Just seems weird. I'm inventor, you know. Just a fact you should know, that's pretty much the first thing people learn about me." James looked over at Brant. He started eating some bread. |
Dem walked into the great hall and took a seat next to James. "Hey James." she smiled and began putting food onto her plate. She looked up at the boy she met in the common room. "You're Brant, right?" |
Reaching the opposite house's table, a quick glance told Helena that the person she was looking for wasn't there. She sighed, her eyes becoming a lighter purple every minute and plopped down away from the others anyway. She didn't like being gloomy, but she couldn't help it at the moment. |

Helena mimicked Chris's chuckle with one of her own as he spoke - she had forgotten just how funny Chris could was in the month that they hadn't spoken. I just needed someone to talk to, seeing as pretty much all of my friends graduated last year. She shook her head slightly, though her smile continued to widen before she laughed at his question. Well, I had to go for a dip a few minutes ago as our common room began filling up with water of its own accord. Now 'how' I can't venture a guess.... She smiled. |
Chris raised an eyebrow. "Oh alright. Just wonder cause I don't really think people look for me to much." He said and chuckled. "Wait your common room was fully of water?" He asked. "Now that's not weird." He said using a lot of sarcasm. "Yeah I could even begin to think how that could have happened." He said shaking his head slightly. |
Helena smiled, but didn't comment on his self-statement, for she didn't think there was much truth to it - but that was Chris for you. Always modest. At first I thought the lake had leaked in somehow - the water was pretty disgusting - but it didn't seem to come from above. She shrugged and smiled again. Though she never paid much attention to herself when there were odd things happening, Helena realized she was hungry, of all things; she mentally shrugged this off, however. |
Chris listened. A leak umm? "Well yeah I guess it could have been a leak." He said shrugging. "But I the water in the lake isn't dirty like disgustingly diry. Umm I wonder what's going on." He said. |
Helena shrugged, and for a moment, she had the oddest wish to be alone. Wondering what on Earth was the matter with her, she tried to mentally shake herself out and looked back at Chris. Yeah, I dunno, really. Well, as long as we can get back in there eventually. She made the smile that had so recently vanished appear in smaller form once more. |
Chris looked at Lena. She sort of looked-just for a plit second-like she didn't want him there. Or maybe she didn't want to be there. But she was the one looking for him right. It's not like he hadn't missed talking to her, but still. "I'm sure you will. Everybody is probably trying to figure out how and why this happened and trying to stop it from happening again." He said then he saw Lena smile again. Ok so maybe nothing was wrong. He smiled back to her. |
