Grace wondered why the girl was stiff. She wasn't going to bite or anything just because she was a Slytherin. She decided to go on like she was oblivious to her stiffness and shook her hand. "Me too." she said in a friendly tone.

Bracken saw the Gryffindor girls filling up the dormitory. She still wasn't comfortable with the fact that their worst enemies were joining their forces. Okay, so maybe she didn't want to be in Slytherin first of all, but that was no reason for them to be putting the Gryffindors into their dorms!

Xeh laughed even harder when her friend fell off even though she should have been helping her back up. "Haha sorry bestfriend!" she listened to her friend talk about the guy. She was so happy for her. "Well maybe you should find out, cuz he might like mike-n-ikes and you wouldnt know then he would break up with you cuz you didt buy him any and you would come crying to me and it just wouldn't end well!!" She said getting louder and louder and talking faster and faster until she was out of breath!

Iris walked into the Girls Dorms and looked around. Wow. It was lovely in here, much nicer than the Slytherin Dorms were. They smelt all musky and damp. Eugh! imagine what they're like know! Iris looked over to where Grace was, and walked over, trying not to laugh at how the Gryffindore was acting. We aren't all yellow bellied, purple spotted, people eating monsters (or what ever it was her mum used to call them!) you know! we are friendly people. Smiling, she sad, "hi Grace, how're you doing? Have you seen Fallon - I wan't to tell her Congratulations on making the Reserves, she did really well at the try outs." Iris then turned to the Gryffindore, "Hi, I'm Iris, and we don't bite you know. That's vampires" she said Smiling

Krissy entered the dormitory in a huff. Noticing the Slytherins milling about in the common room she felt as though she would scream.Surrounded by outsiders! Ugh! Then again it wasn't their fault the dungeons flooded, they did need a common room after all...besides some of her best friends were in other houses. Shaking her head Krissy flopped down on her bed with a massive sigh.

One would think that being cursed by a professor was enough, One would also think that being separated from your Fiance' was cruel and unusal... But this took the cake! Now Krissy was the subject of GOSSIP!
Reading over the parchment again it took all of her willpower not to rip it to bits. The worst part was it was attached to a tree out in the courtyard! How many people had read this drivel before she snatched it up? How many more of these were floating around.
This was not how Krissy imagined announcing her engagement. They had this all wrong! Krissy was near tears hoping Helios hadn't seen the gossip anywhere. Slamming the parchment on the table beside her she frowned toward the fire. She needed someone to distract her. Someone to be friendly. She just needed something.

Fallon wandered up to the girl's dorm in the Gryffindor tower. It was so weird being in the tower and not the dungeons. She spotted Iris, who she hadn't really spoken to since she was on the train, talking to some other girls. She walked up to her. "Iris! I haven't seen you in so long! We really haven't seen each other since we got here, which is weird seeing as we are in the same house." She was glad that she had found one of her friends from the train and glad that her and Aaron would be on the quidditch team together, even if it was only reserves, just like they talked about before tryouts.

Jane walked into the dorm, hoping to find something to do to get her mind off Christian, who had gone back to the Dumont Cottage for the night. She was crying on the inside, not knowing what sort of nightmares he was going to have tonight and that she won't be there for him. She couldn't. She didn't have permission to leave the school. She sat on the bed and looked over at Krissy, who was upset for some reason.

"Soo...What's your story?" she asked, hoping she'd be a friend, since it might get her mind off Christian.

Lacey walked into the dormitory and spotted... "JANE!!!!" She ran over to her friend and hugged her. "Ah, man, I'm not usually like this. Sorry, I've just missed you everytime I go somewhere. Dude, I think I'm goin' soft!" Lacey started ranting, her surfer chick accent comming into hyper mode.

"Ohhhh LACEYYY!!!"Jane practically shouted, her voice filing the room. She missed her friend too. Jane fell back a little from that big momentum hug. She patted Lacey's back, trying to calm her down.

"Where have you been??"she asked, lifting her left eyebrow.

Dem just stared at Xeh with a wth look on her face. "You are soo weird!" she squealed. She shoved another peice of candy in her mouth. "Xeh, I don't think he's ever had muggle candy. I don't know what his blood-line is. It didn't seem polite to ask." she glared at her friend. "Well...i don't know actually. Cause when I took him to the candy store in Hogsmeade he didn't know what half the stuff was." she thought for a moment. "I should find out if he likes mik-n-ikes." she said with a worried look. After a few quick breaths she calmed herself down and gave Xehanna an evil stare. "Look what you did! You got me all worked up for nothing." she stuck her tongue out at her.

Alex, who doesn't talk to many people, walked in and said timidly "Hey, um, mind if I join you guys?" She stood next to the door way, eagerly waiting for a response.

"hm." she said. she decided that she had better start being nice or Anna would have her head. she had already gotten in trouble as it was. a demerit. ugh! she thought. ok ok thinking positively. " so do you like books at all?" she asked in a somewhat pleasant tone...well at least she tried

"Fallon! Oooh! Congrats on becoming a reserve Player, I'm so gald for you and Aaron!" Iris said, "yeah, well stuff happens, doesn't it? We're going to have to have a proper gossip some time, just you and Me, because I've hardly spoke to you at all!" She joked, half seriously whilst giving Fallon a hug.

Okay, Lilly was being nicer. She must have understood that Grace wouldn't bite her. "Yes, I like reading." she said, nodding. "How about you?"

Grace saw Iris come in, but she didn't want to interrupt her conversation with Lilly since she hardly started being nice. She didn't know the girl Fallon either, so she just smiled at both of them and turned back to Lilly.

Shaylee walked up the steps to the girls dorm and stepped in the door. She saw her friends and smiled. As she started to walk over, she triped over something on the floor but caught herself before she landed on her face.

Hey guys! She gave all her friends a hug and sat on the bed next to them. Havn't talked to you guys in a while.

Entering the dorm as she took a deep breath to calm herself down a bit, Lizzie spotted two of her best friends on the beds next to hers. They both seemed to be happily chatting, so she simply walked over to them, feeling slightly in shock still, and sat down. She felt a somehow empty inside, just like something was missing. She cleared her throat and gave her friends a sheepish and weak smile. Hi girls she said quietly, her mind full of questions and thoughts. She didn't wanna put it all on them, but she had to talk to someone because she felt like she was exploding from thinking, and luckily she had her three best girl friends... This was just the situation girl friends were truly for. She swallowed.

"Oh, I was down stairs talking to this third year, named Fyo. Who, now, likes Shekespear. I really need to stop brain washing people." Lacey said lughing.

Hey Liz! Shaylee said as Lizzie joined their group. She gave her a bug hug and smiled. When Shaylee noticed the look on Lizzies face she knew someting was wrong. Her smile fell and she said, What happened? Oh my gosh. Did you and Chris break up???!! She looked in her friends eyes and waited for an answer.

Lizzie hugged Shay back, but froze in the middle of the movement when Shay spoke. She could feel her eyes getting wet but no tears fell yet, she just took a deep breath and nodded. I just met him down in the... and he just.. well and then.. so I just thought.. but Chris..she mumbled and hid her face in Shaylee's hug. She'd stay up here for the rest of the day. What should she say if she met Chris in the common room or in a corridor somewhere? What's there to say to someone who just dumped you? She sighed quietly and looked up from the hug to meet her friend's eyes. She dried off a single tear that threatened to fall, and said How did you know?

"yeah i love it! it's my favorite thing to do! It makes me happier than a clam." she said and then blushed. curse those stupid family phrases. no one knew what they meant. "um...so...how are you liking the Gryffindor common room and Dorm?" she asked

"I'll be back." she said to Xeha. Dem ran over to Lizzie. Something was wrong. "What's wrong, lovey?" she asked. When she finally told her, Demetria was in shock. "Chris did.....he.....you and him....." she sputtered out. She couldn't see it, but it felt like Dem's face had turned blood red. If her eyes could change like Xehanna's, they would be black. She was sooo mad at Chris. She calmed down a bit before she began to talk. "I'm gonna have to talk to him." she said in an evilly, sweet voice. "Did he say why exactly he broke up with you??" she hugged Lizzie.

Shaylee gave a small smile and said,Lucky guess. She let her friend hug her and patted her head. It's okay Liz, you'll always have us for you! She said looking at Dem. ;[B]We'll stay up here with you and have a partay!!! [B] Shaylee said smiling to her friends. She gave Lizzie a hug and said, Dem will talk to him, and hopefully he'll still be alive when shes done. She said smiling at her friend.

"Thanks." Fallon said as Iris congratulated her. Fallon hugged back Iris. She smiled. It felt really good to have a friend she could talk to. "Definately. I haven't really seen Aaron since tryouts, so I haven't had a chance to congratulate him yet. But you and me definately have to find some time to hang out."

"your welcome!" Iris said, smiling. She really liked Fallon, she was cool and was like an old Friend that she couldn't remember. "I spent some time with Aaron in the sand box before. Funny Kid. Managed to nearly drown himself." Iris said, laughing at the memory. WHOOOO! yay, girly gossips! can't gossip with Aaron... Not really anyway "Awesome. I look forward to it." Iris said, looking round at the Gryffindore Dorm.

Lizzie's face brightened up slightly as her friends tried to comfort her, and she gave them a little smile. Thanks girls she said. And please don't be mad at Chris Dem, it's not like... well he said he saw me more as a friend and it's true we have barely seen each other this term. But that's because he's been so busy, and I didn't want to keep him away from being a prefect which he loves... She sighed but kept the little smile before frowning. He always liked hanging out with Freya better than being with me anyway, but I guess it's impossible to date a prefect she rolled her eyes. Always so busy with duties... Eyeing Dem she remembered Chris was her cousin and so she thought for a second before saying He hasn't spoken to you about this before, has he? she wondered.
