Miranda pushed open the door to he shop. Shivering slightly, her brown eyes began to scan the area for the things she was looking for - sunglasses!

Walking around the store, she looked at the different clothes and robes and whatnot placed on various racks and shelves.
Her eyes grew wide at a wonderful dress robe, but shut her eyes tightly and stumbled away the other direction, not really seeing where she was going.
There was no good in drooling over something you wouldn't get to buy. Besides, she was on a mission!

Her arms were outstretched and soon felt the corner of another rack. Miranda opened her eyes and grinned. There they were, the sunglasses!
At once she began to rummage around for the one. It would have to be subtle... She picked one up and squinted at it. Hmmm... No...

Putting it back, she searched once more. Oh! Yelloooooow! These glasses would certainly show her support for Hufflepuff! And they were small, and didn't scream 'look-at-me!''. Maybe...
Those she put aside, incase she wanted them anyway. But she kept on looking and found a big pair that were blue.

Eh. That made her thing about Ravenclaw... And Willow. Oh, and ofcourse the Quidditch match that the Huffs had lost. Miranda stood pouting. I have to stalk Willow and Dominic and see what they're up to...
Well Miranda didn't want these glasses. They were blue and...ugly. Whatever.

Tossing them back onto the shelf, Miranda rummaged again and gasped. Squeeeee! This is the one! Hopping a bit, Miranda put on the biggest and roundest sunglasses she had found.
They were perfect! They almost hid half her face, and now no one would be able to see if Miranda was looking at a person or simply sleeping! Yay!

OH that is IT! Tobi thought, as the door opened revealing Miranda BelCanto, an all around nice girl, but on the whole, Tobi did NOT need his picture taken NOW of all time.

"Forget it Aggie," Tobi said, seizing her hand and dragging her out of the store, "these socks are CRAZY expensive anyway."

He'd take her somewhere else. Anywhere else! Isn't there anywhere he could find without an audience?

Probably not...

She was humming a happy tune now, so happy to have found her new wonderful eyeglasses. The one's that would help her stalk her subjects and take awesomeness picturesss.

Suddenly Miranda saw a blurry thing, moving really fast out of the corner of her eye. Turning around, she saw a boy almost running out of the store, with what seemed to be her gurlfRiend.
What is up with everyone being a couple? she sighed.

Shrugging, Miranda sort of dance walked her way over to the counter, still wearing the sunglasses.
"I want to buy these ones!" she grinned and pointed to her face. After taking out her little moneypouch and paying, she hummed back to the door and walked out of the store and to the street.

Weeeeeeeeeeee!

Shana walked into the wizard wear shop and began to walk around looking at all the different stuff the shop had.She skipped around a bit and clutched onto her purse,the last thing she wanted to do was loose her money.She would probably loose it normally and she was in a spazzy mood at the moment which didn't help keeping things safe.

Melanie stepped into the shop, looking around almost immeadiately as she walked in for a rack containing dragon skin gloves... She sorta needed some new ones, because Momo found the old ones and tore them to shreds lets just say they weren't so pretty anymore...

However before she even caught sight of any sort of gloves she saw Shana. Melanie bounded over to her smiling happily at her friend. "Hey Shana." she greeted, waving. "I haven't seen you in forever." she exaggerated when you left me for Upstead...Melanie shook her head, annoyed by her own thoughts. "What up?"

Shana turned at the sound of a voice she knew to well.Before she turned she shouted.MELLO! she jumped round and pulled Melanie's hair gentley.She beamed and jumped up and down a couple of times.Sorry.Spaz attack,Im feeling kind of spazzy,its happening quite alot lately.She beamed again.

She frowned and shook her head.I know,We need to plan to see each other more often.She nodded.Shana burst out laughing when she notcied the experession on Mel's face.She then noticed Mel looked sort of Jealous.Jealous ? she was trying to think of somethink she could be Jealous for.Not much you ?

Melanie hopped about a foot in the air as Shana yelled something that sounded like a mix batween her her name and the color yellow, her heart beating like a race horses feet on the ground. Then someone was tugging on her ponytail increasing her panic even further. "BWAHA... Oh you... you scared the crap out of me." she blabbed, relief in her voice. "It's okay." she reassured her laughing now. "I should have known it was you anyway." Melanie said... afterall she had walked over to her...

"Too true." Melanie agreed, nodding her head. It seemed they only saw each other at Hogsmead and Quidditch games... weird. "Umm no Why would I be jealous of Jake." she answered, giving a small eyeroll for exaggeration.

Then a look of relization crossed her face. "I meean why would I be jealous of anyone..." she corrected with a panicky voice.because you left to talk to him... she corrected herself.

"Well no, not really. I just need some new gloves." she replied, slowly regaining her composure.

Shana stood still which was kind of odd,since she was in a spazzy mood.You know what I've only just noticed,we're really alike.She smiled.We both have Spaz attacks,we both cheer for both teams at quidditch games and we're both firsties.She nodded and smiled.

She rolled her eyes.Tipical.My best friend.And I can't hardly see you.Melanie was her best friend really.OH MY GAWD! YOU JEALOUS OF JAKE!? shana burst out laughing.

Melanie poked her in the tummy, smiling. "Again too true..." she agreed, giving her a small nod. "But I don't cheer for both teams when Hufflepuff is playing." she said, grinning. Nope she was either rooting like a mad person in the stands or playing if someone else couldn't. Melanie couldn't help but emit a small giggle at the 'spaz attack' part...but like everything else it was the truth. "Wish we were in the same house."she muttered under her breath quietly. She knew Shana was proud of being a Slytherin and all,very though.

Melanie's mouth gaped open. "Reeeeally!? WEEE!" she shouted as Shana said she was her best friend, giving her a hug that could sqeeze the life from someone (a'hem: but thankfully didn't.) Shana was her best friend too but so was Ana and Cadence, but did it really count since they'd hardly really spoken since the 'incident' with Set. Just the thought of it made the corners of her lips slip down slightly.

"Stop, no, no I'm not!" she lied, very obviously I might add, cupping a hand over Shana's mouth and then slid it off again, unsure of herself. She just wished Shana wouldn't yell it...She also wished it wasn't true.sigh

Shana sighed.It would be great to be in the same house,But oh well at least we're at the same school.She nudged Mel's arm playfully and skipped around her a little bit.Shana liked being a slytherin and all but she wished she could be in the same house as Mel.She skipped around a little bit more.Then stopped.Well if we can't be in the same house,we can be SLYTHERPUFFS! she smiled and jumped up.

Shana looked puzzled.Corse your my best friend,Didn't 'cha know that ? She thought Melanie knew she was her best friend,obviously not.She shrugged now she knew so that was good.She smiled and re-tied her hair.

She began to jump up and down and shouting.OH MY GAWD! OH MY GAWD! OH MY GAWD! You are Jealous of Jake.She tried to hold her laugh in but she couldn't help it.Suddenly she stopped....and stepped back.Wait...Why are you Jealous of Jake ? she looked at Mel and smiled.

Melanie nodded in agreement. "Yep you're right..." she replied. It would suck so much not to be at Hogwarts...Back in New York with her dad and brother. Not that they weren't nice and everything it was just, well, boring. "OoOo they should make Slytherpuff a house and then like Hufflepuff Hlytherins could be together in a common room and eat together and stuff. Well they can sorta eat together now and not get and trouble sooo yeah." she rambled contently a little smile fixed on her face. Melanie let out a small giggle as Shana began to skip around her and poked her as Shana nudged her. Briefly a thought crossed her mind. "Have you had chocolate lately?" she asked, a hint of amusement in her voice. Melanie was always hipper when she had chocolate especially Honeydukes...not that she wasn't hipper when she didn't have chocolate...

Melanie blinked. "Well, I guess I sorta kinda knew. Umm maybe...? not for sure anyway, but I know now." she explained, smiling as she finished.

Melanie's eyes grew wide as she began to shout again. "Shana" she said a tiny bit of annoyance showing in her voice. "Shhhh." Melanie cautioned a finger over her lips. "Because... You left me for him at the Quidditch match..." she explained very very hesitantly. Was it bratty to tell her that? She had been congratulating him and all which was the right thing to do. Something she hadn't done and probably should have. Stupid emotion. Melanie wasn't to sure what to do, but she bit her lip, rocking back and forth on her heels nervously. She had NOT planned to tell anyone this. Was it sorta rude to tell her? Jealousy isn't a good emotion... Dragon dung! Now what if she gets mad at me or something? Melanie thought anxiously.

Shana giggled.We should mention it to the prefects.She nodded,it would totally rawk.She jumped up and poked Mel back.Shana wondered if someone could just walk into another house's common room.It wasn't like there was a invisible sheild that will not let people from other house's in,or was there ? she shrugged.That was another question she needed to ask Clifford or Evangeline.Chocolate ? Hmm I havn't eat much in a while.She shrugged she hadn't been hungry so she wasn't going to stuff herself.

She smiled.Well it's good you know now.She beamed.She nudged Mel again playfully and listened to her talk.

Shana looked at Mel.Sorry Mel.She put her finger to her mouth then moved it away.She laughed abit.Aww Mel I'm sorry I didn't mean to leave you but After the 'incident' I really needed to talk to him and I didn't want to go looking for him and he was just there.OMD! I am sooo Sorreh.She apologized contanstly.

"Yeah.. but...okay." she agreed. Maybe kayla, ut she was a tad bit intimidated by Dominic after he told them to be quiet in the common room after the whole incident in class where the Hufflepuff firsties wouldn't stop talking. She supposed he was okay though...Anyway that would, be like GREAT!!! Hufflepuff and Slytherin merging into Slytherpuff although she wasn't sure even the all powerful prefects could do that.

"Hmmm your haven't then." Melanie repeated, absentmindedly. She couldn't help wonder what Shana would be like if she had had sugar. Probably would literally be bouncing off the walls...Scary thought really, but Melanie probably would be as well. Figures.

Wah-wah wait?! she's sorry...? Melanie looked puzzled for a minute. "Wait no it's not your fault! It's just my stupid emotions..." she said, pointing at herself with a thumb. "Sorry Shana...It's not too big off a deal." she reassured her giving her yet another hug. She was feeling rather huggy today.

Suddenly a thought registered in her head. Incident with Jake.? Putting two and two together... "WHAT? What did he do? What incident?" she spluttered out. I swear if he did anything to her...

Shana was hungry now,for the third time this term,but she wasn't going to have anything with too much sugar in,no no no,she was already hyper she didn't want to be any more hyper,that would be dangerous,not for Shana but for anyone else within 100 feet away.She would definitely be talking to Clifford or Evangeline about this slytherpuff idea.She liked being slytherin it gave her pride and they had the best prefects everrr.Clifford and Evangeline were totally awesome and they were caring.

Shana wasn't a big fan of Chocolate,she had to be in the mood too eat it but if not she stayed away from it,the one thing she did love were chicken wings,they were lovely,esspecially spicey ones yummy yum.Do you like Chicken wings ? she asked Mel it would be another thing alike about them.

Shana shook her head.It is.I shouldn't have left you for Jake.She smiled hoping Mel would forgive her.You're aloud to have emtions,and they're not stupid,I shouldn't have left you for Jake,but I did and I'm sorry.She apoligized again.

She shook her head again.Nothing,He didn't do anything,Apart from get...Con-fus-ed.She rolled her eyes and carried on talking.Well I was talking to Lima...and Erm I told her...That erm I had a crush on...Jake. and then Jake came and I was just looking at my shoes and then Lima told him and I havn't spoke to him properly since.She shrugged and looked down at her feet,she didn't know what Mel would think of her best friend having a crush on her worst enemy.

"Yep." Melanie said, nodding her head up and down like a bobble head. Chicken wings were good, but compared to chocolate the were like dirt... They were still really delicious though... Hogwarts made them best, just like everything else.

Annnnd now she was shaking her head back and forth. "Nooo. you're not allowed to apologize." she informed her. "You didn't do anything wrong..." she muttered. "Only my emotions are stupid." Melanie said, nodding again. "Soooorry."

Jake confused... well that was new. Really new to Melanie. She didn't know about everyone else. He was smmmmart... He couldn't be confused or like the world would come crashing down.

Humph. Didn't these people get it...Shana wasn't allowed to be guilty and Jake wasn't allowed to be confused or she must be like an idiot. So there.

she didn't know who Lima was, but listened intently anyway. Melanie's eyes grew wide. "YOU HAVE A CRUSH ON- I mean well...You have a crush on Jake...as in Upstead?" she asked. So another one of her friends was getting feelings for a guy.And it wasn't just a guy. It was a guy she was pretty sure did NOT like her. Again Fabulous.

She knew how well it turned out last time one of her friends started liking a boy. And now they hardly spoke, but she wasn't sure that was because she was so caught up in her grief or because she simply didn't like her anymore... Melanie shook her head. Why did she have to keep reminding herself of that?!

Anyway if Shana and Upstead decided to go out with each other then she would sort of feel the need to guard them so a freakish invisible thing didn't attack them...Hogwarts really was tiring. Of course, by no means would they even let her do that. that would be very clingy and probably make people who already didn't think so think she was a psychopath.

She hadn't meant this Lima girl, but they sure weren't coming off on a very good foot... "Why did she tell him?" Melanie asked, surprise clear in her voice.

Shana shrugged guiltily.Ermm well Kind of.She smiled.Oh well Lima told him cause like he was like there and I was acting all awkward and it just slipped out. she smiled.Soo Whatchoo been doin' ? she said trying to change the subject.

Melanie opened her mouth to blurt something along the lines of REALLY?! No waaai! but Shana looked serious. About liking... Upstead. Liking liking him... as in LIKING him. Still in shock Melanie simply nodded her head up and down like a bobble head in a race car with a mad driver. "That's great.... or well not really, but still maybe he'll come around." she reassured her.

Yep, she handled that well...Last time she'd made an attempt at girl talk she's yelled something along the lines of: Eew... You were sucking at each other's faces! to Cadence about her first kiss...And then she'd been given chocolate. Good thing Spence had been present to actually talk to her like a real friend was supposed to... a girl friend anyway. Sometimes Melanie could be a complete and total tomboy. and that wasn't always a good thing.

In other words her awkwardness about Jake was still pretty good for her anyway. At least she hadn't shouted out in the store: Eew you have a crush on Upstead! That would have been bad...

Still didn't give the girl an excuse to tell Jake about Shana's feelings. humph. At least Shana didn't act too hurt about it.

"Me?" Melanie asked, surprised by the change of subject. She didn't really blame Shana though. She would have done the same thing. "Well. I"m shopping for gloves because my maniac of a cat tore mine apart and I don't want anyone to see me use my bare hands again...That was an accident anyway." she babbled. Insane cat... costing her money.
