*He nodded and let her fix his tie and hair. He didn't really mind, his cousins were always telling him he never looked clean cut enough.* "Can't you be studious and good looking at the sametime?" *He smirked again.* |
"I just said you were, didn't I?" she teased giving him another appraising look. "Hmm...I think you might have just moved up into the number two position" Kayla stuck her tongue out at him playfully. "So how are you finding Hogwarts anyway?" She then belatedly realised something and she eyed him suspiciously. "You don't happen to know who lost all those points for Hufflepuff, do you?" |
*He punched a fist into the air.* "Yes! On my way up to the top. Maybe I'll be able to get more dates or something when I hit number one." *He laughed a little at her question.* "Ummm no, if I did everyone, even you, would know what I did to make that happen. I would like to know who put us in last though." *Even though he acted as if he could careless he was very big into getting points. But he'd never let anyone know that.* |
Kayla couldn't help it, she burst out laughing at his reaction. "Who are you trying to date? she asked with curiosity. He was a good looking guy, she couldn't see that he would have too hard a trouble getting girls interested. "Aww...look at that, he does care about his house" she teased. And in total Kayla fashion, she changed the subject entirely. "Hey I hear they have a bamboo forest now. Have you been down there yet? Would you like to go for a walk there now?" the words flew out of her mouth like verbal vomit, she seemed to do that occasionally. |
Lyra placed her hands on her hips. "Excuse me," she playfully said to Kayla. "I believe that you are flirting in my place. I was just about to compliment on how smart he looks with all the books." But then she watched as Kayla readjusted Gabben's tie and she grinned. "Ahhh! That's better," she winked then began to snicker under her breath. "Where have you been? I know you can't be that busy with Prefect duties," she huffed in a playful attitude once again. |
*Gabben laughed again and made a pose with the book.* "A good book never hurts." *He then looked down and just shrugged at her date comment. Then sighed and rolled his eyes.* "Yeah I'm stuck with my house, better make the best of it right." *He stood back for a second letting her words sink in. She spoke them very fast, and it made him want to smile again. But he only nodded and held an arm out to her.* "Sure, lets go. I've been there once with Kyle but didn't get a very good look at it. We ended up running and swimming in the lake." |

"Here and there" she replied evasively. "Just checking out some things." She would speak to Lyra later, when there weren't so many ears around. Quote:
Kayla took his arm. "Sounds good to me, I haven't been outside yet" she looked over her shoulder at Lyra and gave her a wink. 'Catch you later' she mouthed as she walked down the corridor with Gabben. |

Lyra snickered, shaking her head as Kayla turned to walk down the hallway. She waited until it was only the three of them but knew that Theo might not have a clue as to what she was speaking of. "Come Banana, I think we need to snoop," she snickered as her eyes kept to the direction the two Huffies walked in. "How about a Bamboo forest." That would be interesting and very Lyra-like. |
Professor Kazimeriz glided into the hallway on his way to the library. He had some last minute references he wanted to pull from the restricted section for his class. He walked slowly, for the many stairs had taken a toll on the old man-- particularly his hip. He looked forward to a time when the weather would stop eating at his joints so. His hip in particular ached... he reminded himself to pass by the hospital wing for more pain potion before classes. So many students in the corridor! He hoped they were all on their way to the library to study, but from the way they were loitering about he sincerely doubted it. He clomp!-shluffshluffed down the hall, his face pulled into a sour expression. |
Agie skipped down the corridor humming a tune, she heard Lyra was down here and sure enough she was. So was the old man, Agie stopped dead in her tracks and walked the rest of the way to Lyra with a smirk on her face. |

Kazimeriz's eyes narrowed as he saw the dark haired figure from the Great Feast. "Prefect Greeeein-goth." he stated loudly and clearly, drawing out her last name. He stopped, standing still in the center of the corridor, both ancient, arthritic hands on the head of his black and silver cane. Staring. At Anna. |
Lyra smiled when Agie walked up and was just about to open her mouth when Banana began to speak about the bamboo forest but then changed the topic to leaving now. Both girls were eyeing the old geezer that Vindictus made her be nice about, but instead he was scolded instead of her. Good thing that old man didn't have a good set of hearing aids in at the feast. Deciding to play it off as if nothing was going on, she linked both arms, one with Agie and one with Anna. "COME, Girls," she said in a rather loud voice so the professor would take notice of them leaving the library. She wasn't IN the library, she was OUTSIDE the library. "Let's leave the Library since we have been studying for hours and hours. I need some fresh air before my brain melts." |

Good thing he didn't know Lyra's name. She felt her arm staying in one spot as Banana stopped right where she stood. Oh this is not good! Lyra wanted to keep walking but she couldn't leave her hand with Banana at the moment, that was something that had to go with her. She turned to Agie and leaned her head in. "I think we have to wait for him to slowly say something," she whispered to Agie. "Wait. I think he's about to talk. Now? Sometime?" |
Agie smirked when the old man called Anna's name. Lookes like she was off the hook. "I'm going older waiting." She whispered back to Lyra. SHe had to hold her hand in front of her mouth to stop the giggles. "I'm 50 now!" Agie glanced back at him. "Lets hope his hearing aids aren't working." She whispered. "Aww man now I'm 80!" She giggled... All this waiting was aging her. |

"Come, Ms. Brandywine. We must go to our common room," Lyra said, repeating the words of the professor and clearly not going to the common room. That would be Bamboo Forest! He was quite a rude one and didn't know a good joke when his hearing aids heard one. At least he still didn't know Lyra's name, he must have missed that book but... "Wait! You have already been to his office? Are you nuts!" She wondered just what Ms. Brandywine was up too visiting the class of a dear professor, one of his age. She walked slowly down the hallway hoping to catch a piece of the conversation that the Professor and Banana were about to engage in. |
Seymour bounced down the fourth floor corridor, beaming brightly and clinging onto several textbooks as if his life depended on it. It was nearly time for classes to start, and he needed to study a bit more. Besides-- it was a nice day to read, and he didn't have much other reading material. Maybe he'd see what they had in the library. Snapping out of his distracted trance only just in time and skidding to a halt, he stopped only feet away from a thin, frail old man, nearly dropping his books in surprise. What was he doing, standing in the middle of the corridor? He quietly shifted to the side and began to continue on his way to the library, when he heard the old man/professor person mention 'having a word' with Anna. He froze, barely concealing a grin, and This would be interesting. |

Anna looked up at the man when she noticed him looking in her direction once again. Oh...lovely. She was expected to stick around---alone---while Lyra and Agie strolled back to their Common Rooms Great. "Yes sir," Anna once again replied. She glanced at Lyra and Agie out of the corner of her eye, silently pleading with them to wait for her around the corner or some place nearby. |
Agie gasped. 15 points! That was the most she had lost at once. She thought she was being quite funny, Lyra too! Anna was going to kill her! Yet it was sooo worth it and she'll get them back. She turned to Lyra and re linked their arms. "Yes, come Miss Noir. Let's go to our common room. I have a few huffies to engage in conversations with." She said. "I'll tell you about it when we get to our common room. Come along now!" And with that, Agie started hobbling off. Her back was bent and her steps were slow and unsteady. She was now 95. |

Oh rudeness... What if she had a sore back. Agie grabbed Lyra's hand and ran away from the corridor. She had a plan. And she was NOT going to her common room. |
"Miss Greingoth. As I was saying, I would like a word." Kazimeriz beckoned for her to come toward him, pausing to notice a clumsy little boy in glasses who apparently had dropped his books. He gestured at the boy a he scrambled to pick up an armload of books. "Should a prefect not help every student, regardless of house?" he asked her casually. |
