Shudder. Even after a year of tripping along the Dungeon Corridor, it still freaked Hugo out. Who knew what was lurking behind the shadows? And what was that curious drip? Question swum around his mind and clouded his thoughts as he slowly made his way down the corridor. Brrr. It was chilly down here too. He longed to make it to the common room, where a mug of cocoa and a hot fire was waiting for him. His emerald eyes darted around, squinting through the dim lighting. He shivered, and wrapped his cloak a little tighter around his shoulders.

What if the Bloody Baron was out and about? EEK! He quickened his pace.

Tasha was enjoying herself too much to pay attention to the things around her.

She was just so happy to be back at Hogwarts that she was skipping down the Dungeon corridor whistling to herself.

Brandon had just left the Slytherin common room and was making his way down the corridor. It was very dark and he hardly could see where he was going as he glanced around ,trying to see if he could spot anyone in the area.

Dungeons were for prisoners and she was not a prisoner yet. So, really, of all the places for the common room to lurk behind, why did it have to be here? Salazar Slytherin was a daft fool, that’s why! Her conscience answered her. Matilda Adele Dem Mc’nuland stomped her way up the narrow dungeon corridor, fists pounding every stone along the way. How was she supposed to memorize where it was? Matilda. Hated. Hogwarts.

Emil Gareth Wilson walked the corridors with a rather confused expression; why were the halls of the dungeon so void of life? Why did he get into the house with the coldest rooms? Why... Why was he asking himself so many stupid question?

He stopped walking and looked back the way he came and the direction he was headed in, both ways were so dark he couldn't make out if anyone else was approching him from either direction, so just in case he slowed down so as to avoid any trouble that might be looking to crash into him.
Finally a small noise made him jump and begin to run the entire distance of the hallway. "This dungeon is the worst!" He screamed inside his startled head as he continued to run in the direction he prayed was towards the Slytherin common room.

It was supposed to be a nice September morning, but under the lake, it might as well have been mid December. It was a good thing, Matilda thought, that she had her coat on under her hideous (cheap and second-hand) robes. That did not stop her from being angry with the fishmonger’s school, however. Her hands were freezing, and pounding them on frozen stone all but contributed to it.

She said a brief, incoherent word, and anyone could guess, by the tone of her voice, it was something along the lines of censorcensorcensor. There was a noise in the distance, her head jerked up at the sound. Maybe it was the common room at last? If it weren’t so dark, Matilda would have seen a boy charging towards her, head first; the suicidal way if Matilda had been a troll and not a person. It was too late when she had. She shrieked and waited for the collision in which the laws of acceleration guaranteed.

Emil looked up a moment too late and couldn't stop running and as had been enevitable, he crashed into the other student, or maybe a very sort teacher, "oh please don't have been a teacher," Emil prayed as he opened one eye to see who he had crashed into. It was a girl. "Yay it wasn't a teacher!" Emil sighed happily without speaking his thanks.

"Do I LOOK like a teacher?" Matilda snapped, offended. She hated the school as it was, being – the gulp was unbidden as the word formed in her head – a student. "Are you insane?" Matilda hollered, making a grab for the piece of body between the head and the shoulders. Someone once told her she had killed a hundred people. One more wouldn't hurt. "Die, you... you... Slytherin!" She shrieked, completely oblivious to the fact that she, too, was in Slytherin.

Evolette McKenna exited the Slytherin Common room, headed, well, she really didn't know. Nor did she really care. All she really knew was that she needed to do something to clear her mind, before she went insane. Simple as that.

Muffin, the green eyed kitten pranced around her, sniffing curiously at the dark corridor, this was the first time he had been anywhere but the dorm. Stopping in a corner, Evolette bent down and scooped up the little kitten, suddenly wondering when he was going to grow. It seemed like he was the same size he had been when Hugo gave him to her for her birthday.

Cayden walked down the corridors as he thought it was a little on the dark side. he could see this being a perfect spots for certain activities. Let alone for Halloween. He turned around the corner as he had almost ran into a student. He should stop thinking so much while he was walking so that he could pay attention to where he was going."Sorry." he said as he hadnt ran into her yet, though it wouldnt of been such a bad adventure. he gave her a smile as he looked down to see her holding a fur ball."Nice kitten." he said as he then asked another question." Whats its name?" Once again it wasnt going to hurt to get to know his own house mates. Maybe they can further explain the houses to him."Im Cayden."

Muffin squeaked as some boy almost squished him. Wriggling in Evolette's arms, the kitten scratched at her hand, until she dropped him, and he ran back inside the common room, right under the feet of a few random students.

"Er-" she started, looking at the door where the kitten had just disappeared into, "His name is Muffin. It's sort of a private joke." she added, before he had a chance to react to the cat's strange name. "And, I don't think he likes you very much." she continued, chuckling.

"Evolette McKenna." the brunette replied, blue eyes taking in the boy infront of her before looking down at her hand, where Muffin had scratched her.

he watched as the cat jumped down and ran through a bunch of people. "Your cat is pretty fast." he told her as it had gone here to there in a matter of seconds. He didnt even think his owl was that fast, though...Pepp was a little on the lazy side. he turned his attention back to her as she informed him that muffin hadnt like him very much. he let out a nervious laugh as his hand went to the back of his head." Yeah, i dont know i think its just cats in general. We had a cat once. I think if it could it would of tore my face up." he moved his hand back to his side as he gave her a smile." Nice to meet you Evolette.Either way your cat seems talented. Hey i know this is kind of a random question, but how long have you been here at hogwarts?"

It was odd to her that Muffin didn't like this boy, he didn't even know this boy. But then again, the only boys he'd ever been around were Hugo, Nicholai and Terry. So she really didn't have anything to base this weird behavior on.

"You as well." she said, a charming smile appearing on her pink lips. When he asked how long she had been in attendance at Hogwarts, she blinked, "This is my second term here." she said, "Why?"

Second term. So she about knew as much as he did. He needed to get someone's thoughts on this whole house thing that had been here for ages."Oh well it's my first year here. Im from France and im just trying to learn the houses. Apparently some are better then others. I know the whole slytherin is cunning and gryffindors are brave, that sort of thing, but im trying to figure out how they work. " He probably was over anylasing things, but it was good to know your house." So do you know much about that? Because if you did you would really help me out." he was confused on why hufflepuff was so horrible." We dont like hufflepuffs or something?"he let out a small chuckle as he then asked."care to save me?" someone was going to have too.

Evolette chuckled, tossing her hair off of her shoulder, "Well, honestly, I don't buy into any of that house stuff." she said with a shrug, "Slytherins tend to think that they are a better house then the others, so basically, they don't like Hufflepuffs, or Ravenclaws or Gryffindors."

"Personally, I think Gryffindors and Ravenclaws are okay, but most of the Hufflepuff's I've met so far, aren't exactly people I care to socialize with." She paused for a moment to consider it, "As long as the person in question is someone you feel worthy of spending your time with, who cares what house they're in."

That was her take on it anyway. "Does that help any?" she asked.

he chuckled as she explained the slytherin attitude."Its amusing." he said in response to the fact that they didnt care for anyone but themselves. It was like high society and everyone else were ants."I havent met many Gryffindors, but one. She seemed okay. Though i had to admit the ravenclaw seems to be the ones off their rocker. at least the ones i've meet. Though i've only met two hufflepuffs." He like one of them and the other one was coming around."Helps a lot. When people add commentary about things i'll acutally get it." which reminded him he needed to find kayla. "Thanks. So where are you heading next?"

"Gryffindors are my favorite." Evolette said, before she could stop herself. "I mean, I know quite a few Gryffindors, and they're all pretty cool." Stop thinking about Gryffindors. Stop. STOP!

Evolette shrugged, "No where in particular." she said, "I don't even really know why I left the common room, I guess I'm just after a change of scenery."

he chuckled as she seemed rather excited about gryffindor." I cant really blame you. they seem pretty cool." he smiled as she seemed pretty gloomy about it."erh well i dont really have anything to do. We could walk together if you want. Their isnt much scenery here." he looked around as it was just dungeon walls. Dark dungeon walls."Maybe outside. You could grab mitten.." that didnt quite sound right."Muffin. Bring muffin with you if you want. Just thought i'd go for some fresh air."

Arching an eyebrow, Evolette looked at Cayden, "Are you sure you want him to tag along?" she asked, all in good humor. "Cause he might just scratch you instead of me next time."

"But, if you insist." Evolette turned on her heel, entering back into the Slytherin common room. She resurfaced in a matter of minutes, Muffin in tow. "Now that you mention it, he could use some exercise."

As soon as Muffin saw Cayden, a low hiss rang out and he wiggled away from the boy. Evolette looked up, an expression of amusement on her face. "Now, don't try kissing me or anything, or Muffin will scratch your face off." she said, patting the boy's arm comfortingly. Silly Muffin. He was only a rude little thing.

"Hey as long as he doesnt eat me i should be fine. Oh and not my face. I do like my face." he said to her as it was true. No one wanted scratch marks on their face. Look like they got eaten by a creature from their textbooks. When she left he stood in his spot and looked around. It was pretty dark around here. It was a dungeon. he waited as she finally came back."Sorry Muffin. I didnt mean for you to get more exercise." he was sure muffin wasnt happy about that. He chuckled as she told him not to kiss her or his face would be a scratching pole."do i look like one of those boys who would randomly kiss someone?" he asked curiously as he raised his eye brow at her."shall we." he said as he started to walk.

Evolette shrugged innocently. "How should I know?" she asked, "I've only just met you." Tucking a few loose curls behind her ear, she added, "And I've been told that I am quite irresistible."

Looking down at Muffin, she bounced him up and down a few times. He liked that, it soothed him. He was just like a little baby. "Muffin, you be nice." she demanded of her kitten for Cayden's benefit." Then she fell into step with him as the started towards the exit of the dim corridor.

Emil heard the girl's voice and felt her hands clasp around his neck, "What did I do?" He wondered and being a person who did anything he could to survive the young slytherin boy spoke. "Fine, you can kill me if that will make you feel better." Emil smiled as he spoke, the girls' grip wasn't that hard, at least it wasn't as bad as it should have been, though he was still in pain while he thought about her over reaction, "I hate this chick already, though I'd never tell her. Hope I"m not in her house."

Her eyes widened, her teeth clenched. And her grip tightened around the boy’s neck. Was he making fun of her?! “Stupid teacher’s pet! Idiot scum,” Matilda screeched and took note of his fancy, fancy, nice clothes. “You capitalist swine! I might forgive you andletyoulive if you handoveryourwallet.”

"Capitalist... swine? My wallet?" Emil was very confused and now finding it heard to breathe. "When will this chick let go? She's not actually going to kill me is she?" Emil wondered and tried to breathe while the girl chocked him, well once he passed out maybe she would let go. "I just have to hold my breath that way she'll think she's killed me and then let go and hopefully leave." Emil tried to hold his breath, but he couldn't help wondering, "why do you want my wallet?" He spoke as loudly as he could, becoming more confused by the girl he really hated right now.
