"He pelted you with Acorns?" She turned to the younger boy. "Mr. Denton," she said knowing the kid's name now... "You report to your head of house, I will send them a note regarding this. NOW!" she said and went to write a note. If she could just remember who it was... oh well... She wrote:

To the Hufflepuff Head of House,

Mr. Denton has exhibited poor signs of being a good student. He's pelted your prefect with Acorns in the eye causing said prefect to need a visit in the hospital wing. I expect the child be punished, and as he is in your house, YOU shall do it.

And she sent it off.

Kayla fought the urge to roll her eyes and took the vial from the intern. She unstoppered it and swallowed it in one go. Feeling slightly better and utterly relieved that she could now leave the waiting room, she looked at Trelawney and muttered, "Thank you" and was almost tempted to say, now was that so hard but refrained from doing so. She wouldn't put it past Trel to give her a detention.

Now all she had to do was try and walk past Nicholai to get back out of the room. Kayla made her way to the door, making sure to keep her head down so that she didn't have to look at him. "Excuse me" she whispered as she passed by him and the others as she made her exit.

Seth simply nodded his head at Trelawney when she asked for confirmation on whether Denton had pelted acorns at him or not. Although it was not the whole story, all he really cared about right now was that he was going to get rid of that black eye. If Denton had not been so keen on revenge, the prefect would not be sitting in here right now with a frozen steak pressed to his eye!

Watching as the healer intern write a quick letter to his Head of House, the prefect sighed once more and then took the streak off his eye for a moment. Looking up at her, he gave her this ‘How bad does is it?’ look and placed the steak right back on the bad eye as it gave another surge of quick pain.

Looking at the wall in front of him, a thought went through his mind. Was he going to have to take the long healing process? Or was there a way to get rid of his black eye a quicker way? He was a prefect and having a black eye would make life harder for him. How was he supposed to look like someone of a higher status – no matter how small or big it was – with a black eye?

“Is there – is there a way we can get this black eye to heal faster?” he finally asked Trelawney, after looking back up at her with one eye as he sat there looking rather foolish, in his opinion, with an entire steak on his face.

"Keep the steak on there... it has healing power's you'll walk out looking like you don't have a black eye... and You'll leave the meat here." She scolded. If this kid told her what to do one more time she'd hex him!

The Hufflepuff jumped slightly when Trelawney scolded him and mentioned that he’d have to leave the meat here. What had he done wrong now? Nothing. He could not have. All he did was ask a bloody question! Was asking questions a crime now? Well … maybe it was in Cassandra Trelawney’s mind. And what a scary thought that was.

Simply nodding his head, acting as if he had never jumped a little to begin with, he left the steak pressed up to his left eye and left it at that. Just as long as he would leave the hospital without a black eye, he would be happy with that. At least he would not have this huge disease-looking thing on his face that would make him look like someone had beaten him up; his handsome face black eye free. Thank Merlin for that too!

Glancing up at Trelawney once again, he let out a long sigh and thought of something to say to her that would show that he was appreciative of what she had done for him. Seth simply chose the easiest and painless words after spending a number of moments of thinking of the right words to say. Thanking people for something they had done for him was not exactly his strongest trait.

“Thank you, Miss Trelawney,” the fifth year said, trying his best to show that he really was thankful. “Without you, I’d probably end up with this eye being black for who knows how long.” See! That was not so hard now, was it?

When you feel horrible you tend to want your mommies. But in little Edeline's case she wanted her daddy. He was a doctor and he always knew how to make her feel better. Green eyes glanced over to the stressed out nurse who seemed to be getting tired of helping kids at the moment. Though she was in fact a kid herself she would certainly get tired of listening to everyone's complaints eventually. The room kept on spinning as the nurse went through all the students and finally she managed to reach Ed. She nodded her head light as she stood up from her chair as her legs shock from dizziness. "Sorry for being such a pain, Miss." she said quietly as she walked towards the directs of the Hospital ward.

She eyed the hufflepuff prefect. He was kissing up to her, but she didn't mind that so much... Still... he was a hufflepuff... "Let me see that eye..." she said walking closer to him and pushing the steak down. "Those acorns really did a number on you." She summonned an unction and began to lightly dab it around the kid's eye.

Dominic turned around to be faced with the prettyful healer intern, whom also happened to be quite feisty. Sighing quietly, he gulped when she told him to go into the corridor and then, before he could obey, Seth told her he didn't want him to wait!!

The nerve of the kid!! Honestly; so what if he pelted the prefect with acorns?! It was for homework and besides the kid twirled him in the air. Stomach still queasy, he sighed as the intern scolded him and told him to visit the head of house.

That was the Arithmancy Professor, right? Meh. He thought so.

The fourth year sighed again and gave a quick glare in Seth's direction before looking back at Cassandra. "Fine. See ya!" He called, turning on his heel and with his hands shoved in his pockets, walked out of the waiting room before another would could be uttered to him.

Noticing that Trelawney was eyeing him, Seth thought that she was going to end up hexing him. He had not done anything wrong. Right? All he did was thank her for tending to him, though he did say it in a sort of ‘kiss up’ way. Whatever. Once again, it was in the past. There was no turning back.

Trusting that the healer intern was there to help him, of whom she had been doing successfully, he let her look at his eye. From what he could tell, it was healing but not fast enough. Maybe that was just his opinion about that matter.

“It was more of an acorn attack, if you ask me,” Seth said, not really caring if Trelawney was going to listen to him or not as she dabbed some unction round his eye. “We were practicing the levitation charm for our homework together. I accidently levitated him in the air and apologized for it, and Denton just turns around and sends the acorns to attack my face.”

He paused and watched her for a few moments, getting used to the light sting of the unction. “I suppose it does not matter. I’ll be out of here good as new eventually, like you said,” he added with a minute smile.

"MmHmm..." she said. "The color's gone... keep the steak on for a few more minutes to take the tenderness away." She said in a sharp voice. This was being nice for little 5'3 Trelawney.

A sigh of relief was made when Trelawney had stated that the black colour was gone. All Seth would have to do is keep the frozen steak, which was starting to thaw out after being pressed on his face for some time now. Nodding his head, he did just as the doctor had ordered. You’re almost out of here! Almost good as new.

Only at that moment did he finally see that Denton had left. Perfect. Now he would not have this annoying fourth year on his back following him around Hogwarts trying to get through his head that he was truly sorry for what he had done. What a load of dungbombs! If Denton was really sorry, he wouldn’t left the prefect alone.

Enjoying the few minutes of peace from the Denton kid, Seth was finally calming down about the whole black eye thing. It was such a stupid thing of him to do to go up and ask students to practice their charms homework with him. He could have simply done it himself. He would have to remember that the next time they had to practice any spell for any class. That was for sure.

"How's it feel?" She said taking the steak from him. "Any better? At least your pretty face is intact..." Oh... she was going to call this one pretty boy!

The silence did not last very long, but at least it was not Denton or some midget that came to laugh at him for having a steak placed over his eye. Miss Trelawney was back to check up on him as several minutes had passed by. Looking up at her, he took the steak off his blue eye and blinked a few times.

Well if it was blinking normally, that meant that it was back to being good as new, right?

“It feels pretty good, Miss Trelawney,” Seth said, touching the area around his eye with his steak free hand. Yep, his eye was as good as new! Thank God! Still feeling the steak in his other hand, he gave it a light squeeze and held it out in front of him for Trelawney to take. There was no way he was going to walk out of the place with that, especially after he was told not to either.

“Err … thank you?” he said in more of a question to Trelawney’s description of his face. That was … odd. Where they allowed saying that to students? Shrugging it off, he smiled his trademark smile at the intern and blinked a few more times, getting used to blinking with two normal eyes again. “Thank you,” he added once again to her, waiting for her to take the steak away from his hand.

"You're welcome" she said and then thought Pretty Prefect Paton... she smirked and went to the next student.

Seth simply nodded his head and got up from the chair he was sitting in. He walked past Trelawney and the remaining students that were in the waiting room and quickly found a mirror to look in. He needed confirmation that it really was all right, not as if he did not trust Trelawney or anything.

After spending a few moments in front of the mirror, he found that his black eye that was there several minutes ago was as if it did not even exist, which was a good thing. Looking back down the waiting room, she gave Trelawney one more smile and exited the hospital wing.

Now you know that fourth years with acorns nearby cannot be trusted, he thought as he searched for a place around the castle to just sit back and relax. It was not every day that someone, more specifically a prefect like him, had to make an emergency stop at the hospital wing.

Raiden reined in his coughing and smiled at the Intern Lady as she handed him the draught and then the letter. Good, he'd finally get to read it! He stuffed it in his pocket, then looked up at the Intern Lady again.

"Drink it now?" he asked softly, looking at it. "Uhm... thank you, Miss Intern Lady..." He looked at Nicholai, who was still here with him, and then downed the potion in one gulp. Ewie... Not good. Better than the other one she'd shoved down his throat, but still not good. "Blech... It's not gonna make me all... sleepy, or anything, is it?"

He leaned back in his seat, feeling a little better now. Thank Merlin for that, he wouldn't be throwing up on the stairs again any time soon.

"Everything." The short Slytherin snapped. Gawwwdd, why did she even bother coming in here in the first place. Raiden? Oh yah. So, calming herself down, Alyss forced herself to look the Intern in the eyes, and repeated the word. "I get highly strung about everything." Smooth.

"It shouldn't," He looked like a good kid. She shrugged. "It'll just make you calm down, you might feel slower than usual. You come see me any time you need." She reinforced.

She glared at the girl. If she snapped one more time Trel would spike this one's calming draught... "Everything?" She asked raising an eyebrow and summoned a vial and handed it to the girl. She didn't even bother telling her to take it. She could do what she wanted.

Meredith walked into the room, glad that she'd finally found it. She looked for Raiden and them spotted him by the doctor. He looked better already, good she thought and then walked over to him. "Hey Raiden, how are you? I got lost"she admitted embarrased.

"He's fine now..." Cassandra answered for him, "Wait for him in the corridor, there is too much talking in here as it is... These kids can't heal in this environment."

Oh. Now she'd finally found the hospital wing, but had to leave! Well, at least she had tried. It was good Raiden was better again. "Er, okay. I'll wait outside." she said to the doctor and walked out, to the third floor corridor. But first, she waved at Raiden. and said "Bye!"

Remy felt sick, really sick. He hadn't been able to keep anything on his stomach for 2 days and he hurt all over. Since he thought he might infect others he took a chair in a uncrowded part of the room. In fact nobody was sitting in the area at all. He felt hot, then cold, then hot again, maybe he was running a fever.

Nicholai made a mental note to keep an eye on the two first years for the duration of the week and waited for them to be dismissed so he could take the two of them back to the common room and get on with his homework.

... homework could wait; Nicholai changed his mind, deciding to head to the potions office to ask for a thing or two. He watched, expressionlessly as Kayla left and turned his head as Raiden spoke, glad of the distraction.

Nicholai offered Raiden a comforting smile before turning his eye to the intern, taking the time to admire her while he waited.

It was a fair effort not to either laugh or nod in fervent agreement at Alyss' response. Instead Nico continued to focus his attention on the healer... rather than doing something to set Alyss off.

Resisting the urge to tell Trelawney that fairly often Nicholai managed to contribute to that 'everything', Nicholai turned his head and watched Alyss lazily; wondering if she'd drink the contents of the vial or choose to throw it at him. You could never quite tell what would happen next with the volatile one- but it usually managed to entertain him for some reason.

Taking the vial as calmly as she could, without breaking it in her hand, or over the Healer's head, Alyss gave it a cautious look. She'd never had a calming draught in her life. Figures. "Yes, everything." She replied, adding a mental "You got a problem with that?" Was she meant to drink this now? Opening the top of it, she gave it a wary sniff. Eugh... Then... Downed it.

Woah.

This was a totally new feeling.

Nicholai watched warily and waited for glass to fly or something to be screeched but there was nothing... except a calm silence.

"Alyss?" Nicholai ventured, raising an eyebrow and sitting on the edge of the seat he had taken next to her ready to dodge out of the way if necessary.
