Prof. West's Office Linnea had been excited about her return to Hogwarts, though maybe not in the way it happened. So, she had her office decorated in her former house's colors, blue and bronze. However, since striped walls weren't really in her taste, the walls were a brilliant shade of royal blue with the edges decked in bronze. She had had to order a special chair so she could see over her desk, being short and all. This red-haired woman could be your best friend or your worst enemy. She was good at holding grudges. Very good. Upon her desk, with a permanent-sticking charm, was her nameplate, issued by the ministry itself! |
Alycya puffed her way to the top of the stairs and walked up to Professor West's office. She had forgotten how far up it was. She stopped at the door for a short while, catching her breath. She stood up straight, took a deep breath and knocked. |
Linnea's ears perked up. Did someone just knock on her door? She was greatly pleased that they had, indeed, knocked. She remembered her time her----at Hogwarts and how only a handful of students were polite enough to knock. She sat up and set her paperwork aside, "Come in" her voice rang out in a regal manner. |
Alycya heard Professor West tell her to come in. She breathed heavily and opened the door. She walked into the office and stopped by the front of the desk. She took a deep breath before speking. "I just wanted to know whenthe first class is, if you know of course. I love Astronomy have had fun in the class last year and I just wanted to get the heads up on the class." She hoped she didn't sound as though she wanted to be teachers pet. She just loved Astronomy that's all. She breathed heavily and waited nervously for Professor West's reply. |
"The first class will begin as soon as I finish with my paperwork." Linnea told her matter-of-factly. "Was there anything else?" |
Alycya was taken aback by Professor West's abruptness and stepped back towards the door slightly. "I'm sorry to have interupted you, Professor. I'll go." Alycya said, backing out the door and closing it behind her. |
Tinkerbell walked up to the door and knocked, she waited |
Tia walked up to the observatory wanting to introduce herself to the new astronomy professor, Tia knocked the door and waited to be asked in |
Linnea looked up from her paperwork again at the sound of two sets of knocks, "Come in," she called out, setting her quill aside. |
Tia heard the professor call come in and walked in and said "Good day Professor i am Tia Petrov and i am very much so looking forward to attending your classes" |

"Very good, Tia. I shall look forward to your attendance in my class then." Linnea gave the girl a smile. |
Tia smiled and said "Well i shall see you in class then Professor West i shall not take up anymore of your time" Tia knew that the professor would be busy planning lessons |
Linnea nodded as Tia left and then turned an expectant simle toward the other girl, whose robes indicated she was a Ravenclaw. |
Bell walked in to the office after another girl, She saw the professor and smiled "Hello professor, I'm Tinkerbell Evens, Bell for short. I'm in secon year. And i cant wait till your class" Bell smiled again |
"Hello Bell, it is a pleasure to meet you as well. Are you fond of the stars?" Linnea asked her as she invited the girl inside her office. |
"Oh yes they fasonate me(ooc.sorry for wrong spelling)" She giggled, "Im into a lot of this stuff, like reading the hands etc. etc." She smiled, "So professor is there anything i need to do before first lesson?" She asked |

Bell started to giggle, "Of course, i'll get all the sleep i can get" Bell sat in a chair, put her head into her arms and fell alseep......or...... |
Linnea stared in disbelief at the child who decided to take a nap in her office, then burst forth with a light peal of laughter. "You don't want to sleep through any other classes going on, Bell. You've got to get Ravenclaw up into first place for the house cup. Just take a nap before my class begins." She winked at the girl. ooc: class should be sometime this weekend. |
Bell jumped up shouting "BOO!!!!" She began to laugh along with the professor, "I got you at first" Bell said trying to stop laughing, "Dont worry i will get another naps naps and sleeps before class" ooc.I will try to attend class, i think i might be busy |
Linnea giggled, students hadn't changed all that much, she noticed, "That you did." She handed the girl a bowl, "Take a piece of candy and go on to class. Or homework. Something. Earn our house some points." She gave Bell a wink. Nope. No house bonding here. Not at all. |
Rachel walked up to the door and knocked. She wasn't sure this was the appropriate thing to do, but she couldn't control her excitement. Astronomy! Her favourite subject! Back when she thought she was a Muggle (it's unbelievable how quickly she got used to that term!) that area had always fascinated her. Now, she would actually get to study it! And at night, when you can actually see the stars! Also, on a high tower with no electricity lights in the way. "It just sounds perfect!" |
Linnea looked toward the sound of knocking, "Do come in," She called out, setting the bowl back on her desk. |
