As Dimitri walked in the class room again he couldn’t help but to wonder if he had done anything to deserve such a teacher, the man was barking mad, still he was right, all that garbage was obviously some sort of prank, but who would pull up such a prank? No Hufflepuff, they were too innocent, but than again Evelynn was a Hufflepuff…this was all too strange, and utterly boring!
Was Borr going to lecture them again? - Dimitri sighted in annoyance - He couldn’t take it anymore, if only he wouldn’t loose house points by complaining, he most certainly would!

Edward Penguin 07-11-2008 01:07 PM

Following a Slytherin boy, Finn wondered how they would find the culprit.

Symbi0sis 07-11-2008 01:56 PM

Patrick hadn't been intending to come to class. But he absent-mindedly had walked into this classroom just as 'Lord' Borr began. He groaned inwardly and sat down in the seat nearest the door. He stared wistfully at the door, trying to ignore both the smell of garbage and the garbage that Borr was saying under his breath.

Roland sat in the middle of the room, being able to keep Lord Borr in sight so as to try and figure out how to understand him or any ideas to thwart him and at the same time keeping his distance from him.

Ignatius carefully sat down. He spotted that Kingston still hadn't done his shirt up. It shouldn't be allowed in such a class. At least it wasn't Borr and Borr's shirt.

Berty Borr 07-11-2008 02:54 PM

Lord Borr's pacing ceased and stood up straight and "tall" in front of his class. "Most of you have disappointed me today. What occurred in my office only confirms to me that you all have been brainwashed, bamboozled, tricked, and de-manned." Lord Borr heaved a great sigh. "It is much worse than I feared. That woman has taught you all to be inferior beings! YOU ARE MEN! To be MEN!"

Lord Borr strode around to the board and wrote three letters:

M

E

N

"Using these three letters as a starting place, I want you all to come up with three adjectives for what it means to be a MAN."

Edward Penguin 07-11-2008 02:59 PM

Finn raised his hand.

"Sir. Using the letters you have provided I would choose,
M-Magnanimous
A-Agile
N-No-Nonsense.

These seem to be attributes that have been nobly shown in today's lesson."

Disneymaniac 07-11-2008 03:10 PM

To be Men. I am a man. Oh no. He has noticed that I have no facial hair. I can't help it. "Well Sir. M-Masculine, E-Eccentric, N-Necessary," Iggy said.

Miles jolted his head up when Borr had said 'De-manned'. Even though Miles wasn't very happy with him, he knew he was right.
Thinking about all the chats he'd had with Vannie, and the fact that he had many girl mates other than boy mates. Oh maaan. He had been de-manned.
Eager to make himself more male again, Miles raised his hand.
"Sir, I would say:

M - Manly
E - Everything
N - Never inferior."

Miles had struggled with the 'N' part, yet tried his best.

Nienna 07-11-2008 03:36 PM

Kingston blinked at Borr as he wrote three letters which made up the word 'men'. Three adjectives? Well...

"Men. M for masculine, E for energetic, N for natural."

Clifford puffed his chest out at Lord Ogre's words. GRRRR. He was a MAN! Well, he liked to think he was anyway.

Three adjectives for what it meant to be a man? Hmm.

"M is for MIGHTY! E is for Extraordinary! Aaaand N is for ...NOBLE!"

Rawwwwr!

Echein 07-11-2008 04:32 PM

Sebastian watched the rest of the pupils and then put his hand out and spoke, "Men:" Sexist... Noo, that wasn't M, E, or N. "M: Meteor-like. Okay, so that was hyphenated. E: Exceptional. N..." Nooo, not neurotic. "N: Nonchalant."
He dropped his hand down, and hoped that he'd used the right words.

angeline 07-11-2008 04:35 PM

What it means to be a man? Was he serious? Just when Dimitri thought that there was no way he could come up with something more ridiculous, he succeeded! If it wasn’t too stupid Dimitri would give him a standing applause for his ridiculousness, but once again house points.
Raising his hand Dimitri looked strait in to Borr’s eyes “I believe that M is obviously for Mighty. E stands for Emperor and N for Notable” he would have said noble but not all men are noble, only the ones who carried all the three great traits. Such realisation made the boy smirk proudly.

Symbi0sis 07-11-2008 05:44 PM

M.E.N.? This male at the front of the room could hardly qualify as such but, now that he was here he might as well humour this person.

Quote:

M-Machiavellian
E-eclectic
N-nascent

He wrote on an empty sheet of parchment. He continued to stare absently in the air ahead of him. This male was not remotely entertaining. Even considering his eccentricity the 'man' did not seem to have any sort of self-awareness.

XanaSnape 07-11-2008 09:19 PM

Will raised his hand. "Mature. Educated. and Noteworthy. Or... Motivated. Equitable. and Nonpariel. And Moral. Effective and Natty." He grinned a little at this last word, which always amused him a bit.

Prongs999 07-11-2008 09:21 PM

James sighed. He raised his hand, but pulled it quickly back down. Never mind...M.E.N. Hmpf. Minuscule compared to giants, Ennergenic compared to a dead flea, and Numb to monkeys...

Con_Stripes 07-12-2008 09:19 AM

Nicholai raised his hand; "Moral, Esteemed and Neat. Sir."

Berty Borr 07-12-2008 04:26 PM

"Yes, yes, very good class. Very good. All qualities that you have found in me, I'm sure. Excellent. Me, the Minister, a few of the new professors around here: MEN!" Lord Borr walked down the aisles of desks. He was a hair on the wide side so he didn't quite fit. Each desk got shifted as he made his way up and down the little rows.

"Now, my men, I want you to do the same exercise using three new letters:

E

L

F

"Let's see how you do."

Sebastian bit his lip, this one was going to be harder, then he put his hand up and said, "E: Enigmatic. L: Lowly. F: Flawless." His hand then dropped back down to the desk. Why had he done better with elf than he had with men?

Danny Boy 07-12-2008 04:44 PM

Hmm.. what to say what to say

"Ah,
E-Evil
L-low lives
F- Fast" said Barry he actually thought that elves were great but he couldn`t say that to Borr now could he?

Liam looked down at his desk, narrowing his eyes. He could think of a few choice words to describe Berty Borr that was for sure....Mean, Egotistical, Narcissistic.... Horrible Git ...hmph! He winced and looked up a little startled as his desk got pushed to the side by the colossal frame of Lord Borr on his way past.

Oh dear... words to describe the poor elves. “Er... E for Eager, L for Lowly and... um... F for Feeble, Sir?” Liam suggested.

Nienna 07-12-2008 04:50 PM

Kingston looked at Borr once more and blinked. That spelt Elf. Oh well, he thought as he looked down at his parchment. Holding his quill, he wrote on the paper. "E - Eerie, L- Loathsome, F - Filthy." He hoped Borr would like he want he had written.

Waterloo 07-12-2008 05:13 PM

Clifford clung onto his desk for dear life when Lord Ogre decided to squish right past. Ick. Now then had to do the same thing with the word elf? Hmmmm.

"E is for entertaining." It was entertaining to give them Butterbeer and watch them fall over. Hehe. "L is for little?" Elves sure were teeny. "And F is for fragile."

angeline 07-12-2008 08:52 PM

So Borr was pleased then, good – Dimitri smirked to himself proud of his and the class achievement. Why did he want them to tell him how low they thought that house elves are? That is common knowledge, obviously! But if Borr wanted it Dimitri would it and say nothing against it.
After finish listening to a slytherin boy Dimitri raised his hand once more “E stands for Eerie, L for lower existence and F for frightened”

Mercia 07-12-2008 10:42 PM

Dan watched Borr stride, well as close as he could to stride along the classroom. There was seriously something wrong with this man, but then again he wanted to stay on his good side, Rasing his hand he said " Erksome , Little , Fools .... ?"
